  1. So there's been a bunch of rumors recently about bionicle coming back in 2025-2026, none of it is confirmed but i've seen it trending in the lego community so we can only hope it's true, made this thread so that everyone can discuss thoughts and their own rumors.
  2. So there has been speculation of a new version of Bionicle (note sure if it's true or not, and I'm not very convinced yet, although I still hope). Anyway, this got me thinking about some ideas for a theoretical third generation of Bionicle and I came to the thought of what could be the possible heroes; I mean we assume that the Toa Mata will be the heroes, but do you guys think that it is important for Bionicle for that to be the case? Personally I think the Toa Mata should be present - kinda like Optimus Prime and Megatron for Transformers. However I would be interested in seeing the Toa Mata in a different role, either as the mentor's or as legendary predecessors to a new Toa team - someone like the Toa Inika, the Voya Nui Resistance or the Chronicler's Company. But that's just my thoughts, what do you guys think the role of the Toa Mata should be in a potential reboot; protagonists? Mentors? Antagonists? Not present? Something I didn't think of entirely?
  3. System sets. That's right Bionicle G3 but as system. Here's why it is more possible than you think. 1. With the end of nexo knights there is now a open slot for a new system theme. Bionicle can cover adventure and tech easily. (I understand this is unlikely but potentially it could.) 2. Bionicle already has success in system back in G1 following three plotlines in set. 3. Retail stores would be more willing to sell traditional system sets over constraction. Since looking at Bionicle G2 sold poorly but other Lego system sets sell rather well. 4. If the system theme got a strong popularity to making go beyond 3 year term then Lego could introduce a constraction figure line to go with it. This is just an idea I've seen no one bring up. Though might as well share the idea. Please give your thoughts opinions and healthy criticism below.
  4. Okay, I know that is a click-bait title, but hear me out. One possibility if Lego decides to drop ccbs or other construction settings in the future but decided to reboot Bionicle is to do as it a Mech series (ala Exo-force) using standard the standard Lego system to build sets and specialised minifigs for the characters. The rough idea is this: The Matoran are a bio-mechanical race who live in peace and harmony with the world around them with their limited elemental gifts; trees growing faster as they tend them, metals forge by fuelless flames and city mounded from the mountains like children's clay. Their culture with it's myriad of blessed masks tells tales of great kings and heroes - the Toa, titans of such size they could step over hills, such strength to smash down mountains and the power to raise whole ranges with a flick of their hands. At first the Toa used their power for good, but one by one they fell to some darkness - and their war shook the world. The Matoran wear their masks to enshrine the Toas' glory, and to remember their horrors. However a new evil has arisen - great monsters called the Rahkshi, arising from the shadows of night and eclipse to destroy everything the Matoran have worked for. Worst, a cult calling itself the 'Brotherhood of Makuta' is predicting these attacks with startling accuracy and is using this knowledge to grow their power base. 6 Matoran use the chaos to go on an expedition through a forbidden desert to a ruined citadel. Tahu, a prince who seeks the chance for a warrior's life; Gali, a explorer who lost everything to a rahkshi; Pohatu, a wounded Kolhii star with knowledge of the deserts; Kopaka, a ranger and loner; Onua, an ageing soldier and teacher; and Lewa, a young acrobat seeking adventure. Within the ruins they find golden masks; giving them power over ancient warmachines and ascending them to the rank of Toa. So what did you guys think?
  5. Okay I was on facebook the other day when I saw a email, PM something screen shot that said "We are so glade to hear that, but the Bionicle series is still in the planning stage." I don't know if it's a fake or real there was a huge debate in the comment section over the topic. If any BZPower members are part of the "Bionicle Community Group Page" check out the post. It's a rather new post.
  6. Hi, guys! We know that Bionicle has many storylines, and each has a unique theme from others, even though that Bionicle itself is mainly about bio-mechanical beings that look completely like robots and have powers and weapons, and they fight each other. It is also an action figure toy line made with Lego pieces. It goes like this: 2001 - Animals wearing a spirit-based villain called the Makuta's infected magical masks that mind-control them and a team of heroes with elemental powers, called the Toa Mata and who don't remember who they are when they arrived on the island, collecting masks. Takes place on a tropical island. Makuta also put a good-hearted spirit named Mata Nui, who leads people in the island, endless sleep. People in the island, who the Toa are defending, are trying to defend themselves along the way. 2002 - Swarms of chicken-like destroyers, called the Bohork and are the Toa's counterparts because most of them have elemental powers, and heroes collecting their mask-like and mind-controlling brains. There is also mechs and the swarms' queens. The Toa got magically upgraded by a substance into enhanced versions of themselves called the Toa Nuva. Early 2003 - Each member of a type of Bohrok got mutated and new powers. They steal their heroes' elemental powers to unleashed the previous threat. Late 2003 - The Makuta unleashed snake-and-slug-based monsters whose powers go against people's values. There is this light-vs.-shadow showdown business with a new hero joining the team and coming to face Makuta. There is also a citizen turning into that hero. 2004 - A prequel that takes place in an island city to learn about the island's people's past lives. A bunch of elders telling a story about themselves as the city's own heroes, called the Toa Metru, who fought a plant monster, corrupted police robots and bounty hunters called the Dark Hunters. They also show how they know a lot of things in the past storylines. It's like the prequel Star Wars trilogy when you look at it. They also go on a quest to protect a magic object called the Mask of Time, which has time-based powers, from the Makuta, who is responsible for their problems. Magic disks are involved. 2005 - The Toa Metru went to rescue their lost people from evil giant spiders led by two evil people. The evil-doers mutated them into monsters. The heroes had to find help from people and a cure while battling their foes. One of the villains, Roodaka, goes to free her imprisoned master, the Makuta, along the way. Later on, the leader of the Toa, Vakama, and Makuta working together to get the lost Mask of Time from the leader of the Dark Hunters. Lego play-sets happened. Magic spinners are involved. 2006 - Back to the present. A group of six evil thugs, who were once Dark Hunters and are also counterparts to the Toa because of their elemental powers, go to get a powerful magical mask called the Mask of Life, which can control life. Mata Nui is also dying, so two groups of Toa, the Toa Nuva and a new group with lightning-mixed elemental powers called the Toa Inika, who are six of the citizens they had been protecting, go to get the mask to save Mata Nui and the whole universe. Takes place on a new tropical island. Plus, the thugs also got a seventh member, which shows that the fact that a villain group got their own seventh member other than a group of heroes. This guy is actually a part of one of the six thugs' essence and went rogue from them. Playsets happened. 2007 - The Toa Inika, who turned into water-breathing versions of themselves called the Toa Mahri, and a group of evil sea-creature-based warlords, called the Barraki, fighting each over the Mask of Life. Takes place underwater and a city in there. There are beings being mutated by a substance, and the Mask kept using its powers to change some life. At the end, one of the Toa Mahri sacrificed himself to revive Mata Nui and save the universe. Playsets happened. 2008 - The Toa Nuva, who wear armor that can magically adapt, fighting against evil bat-based and bug-based villains called the Brotherhood of Makuta, who the Makuta leads. The Makuta's real name is revealed to be Makuta Teridax. Takes place in an underground cave with a sky and swamp. Citizens who forcefully turned evil by the bad guys, little guys combining with the teams to get more powerful by attaching their bodies on their bigger counterparts' backs, and flying vehicles are involved. At the end, the Toa reawakened Mata Nui, and then thought that they saved the day that way, but allowed Teridax to win and take over the world, which is revealed to inside the body of a 40-million-feet-tall robot. That robot is Mata Nui. Makuta's master plan, which happened the whole time, had been completed. He also banished Mata Nui's spirit and the Mask of Life from the body and sent them to outer space before Teridax started enslaving people. 2009 - It's a soft reboot, similar to Transformers: Age of Extincton Movie in 2014, as it takes place in a destroyed planet where most of it is a desert. Gladiators, from various element-based tribes, in the planet fighting each other in arenas to survive. However, some of them, called the Skrall, and their allies called the Bone Hunters united and started having a war with others to take over. Takes place in a destroyed planet. Mata Nui and the Mask went to the planet, and Mata Nui then convinced the gladiators to defeat their united foes. There are a lot of similarities between the planet and Mata Nui's world. There are land vehicles involved. 2010 - A final major battle where people from both worlds fight each other while Mata Nui is trying to fix the destroyed planet. However, Teridax threatened to take over the planet rather than supposingly helping him fix it, Mata Nui has to stop him giant-robot-battling-each-other style. There is also a golden suit of armor involved, as one of the Toa Nuva, Tahu, who turned back to his Mata self, had to get and use the armor to help win the fight. Along the way, heroes from both worlds had to work together to do this. At the end, Teridax is defeated and dead, good guys won, the planet is restored, and all major adventures are over, even though that there are still minor problems remaining, so peace between people from both worlds began. 2011 - More minor adventures happened that there are groups of heroes discovering some things, going to find the planet's former rulers, called the Great Beings, who created Mata Nui and his world, and fighting some new bad guys. There are a lot of unresolved things in the story, but our man, Greg Farshtey, is revealing some secrets that we were wondering about. 2015 - It's a hard reboot where everything story-wise has started all over again. It's called Bionicle G2. In other words, it's an alternative dimension. In this new story, things are more simple than the ones in G1. It's sort of like The Amazing Spider-Man movie series in 2012 and 2014 (Check the similarities in this link: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/23229-bionicle-g2-and-the-amazing-spider-man-movies-are-alike/ ). The Toa Mata are reintroduced as Masters as they got new armor and weapons as well as new personality and are modernized by looks. Makuta Teridax is also reintroduced as Makuta, who looks almost completely different. Plus, Lewa's element is changed, and the team's personalities are sort of changed. We get a lot of new people, like the Protectors and Ekimu. In the 2015 storyline, the Toa arrive in the island of Okoto, kind of similar to how they arrived in the island of Mata Nui in G1, to find magical golden masks, which can increase their elemental powers, again and this time fight against evil skeleton-based creatures and awaken the eternally-sleeping Ekimu. The skeleton creatures want to steal masks and drain the Toa's Golden Masks' power to become stronger. Their leader, Kulta the Skull Grinder, wanted to destroy Ekimu's mask called the Mask of Creation in order to take over the world. The creatures are also sent by Makuta. 2016 - The Toa became Uniters as they find magical creatures called the Elemental Creatures, which have the same elemental powers as the Toa, and new magically golden masks. After that, they have to combine with them by having the creatures attach their bodies on the Toa's backs to enhance their elemental powers. An evil hunter named Umarak the Hunter and his robotic bear traps went to capture the creatures. Both sides also went to get Makuta's mask called the Mask of Control. Umarak was sent by Makuta to do this. After he got the mask, Makuta used its power to turn him into his stronger, bigger, monstrous, and Doomsday-from-Batman-v-Superman-Dawn-of-Justice-in-2016-esque minion called the Destroyer. Umarak turned his traps into monsters with elemental powers. Makuta had Umarak get the pieces of another of his masks called the Mask of Ultimate Power, so Umarak can open a portal that can free Makuta from another dimension called the Shadow Realm. Along the way, Ekimu turned into a Toa of Light and has his own Elemental Creature named Agil, who also has Light powers. The Toa and Ekimu worked together to try to stop Umarak, but he wasn't stopped. At the end, Umarak succeeded, but Makuta sacrificed him to open the portal. When he was trying to come out, the Toa stopped and used their elemental powers to stop him by re-imprisoning him. They then went back to where they came from: the stars. In simpler terms: the storylines' themes are like this: 2001 - mind-controlled animals, heroes with elemental powers collecting magical masks, a tropic island 2002 - a swarm of chicken-like destroyers, collecting mask-like brains, mechs, heroes getting an upgrade Early 2003 - the destroyers getting mutated with new powers and steal the heroes' powers Late 2003 - light vs. shadow showdown, a new hero in town, snake-or-slug-like monsters with powers that go against good people's values 2004 - a prequel, a city, police robots, bounty hunters, a plant monster, magical disks 2005 - rescuing people, heroes getting mutated into monsters, giant spiders, a villain planning to free the main 2006 - going back to the present, thugs, controlling life, a new tropical island 2007 - underwater, warlords, mutation, an underwater city 2008 - sky, swamp, a cave, adapting armor, bat-and-bug based villain who relate to the main villain, people attaching themselves to others to get stronger, flying, flying vehicles, the main villain winning 2009 - a soft reboot, a destroyed planet, a desert, gladiators fighting in arenas, land vehicles, a ruler going to the planet and helping the good people there while also going on a quest to go back to his home and defeat the main villain 2010 - magic armor, devolving a main hero, repairing the planet, giant robots fighting, a battle between people from both worlds 2011 - new characters, groups of heroes going on minor quests to find for one of the worlds' creators and facing new threats. 2015 - hard reboot, skeletons, magical masks, stealing elemental powers 2016 - a hunter, magical masks, heroes combining with magical creatures to increase their elemental powers, monsters with elemental powers, opening a portal that will release the main villain. These are the storylines that Bionicle had used in its history. I would like to talk about what new storylines would I like Bionicle to try if it returns. Here are some ideas that I would prefer: 1. A volcanic adventure that Toa would do 2. An underground adventure 3. Fighting against pirates 4. A knight-based adventure 5. An adventure that involves a genie 6. Protecting their home from aliens from another and completely different world 7. An adventure in space to fight these aliens and look for something there (it would be a sequel to #6) 8. A breakout theme where heroes go after escaped villains, similar to Hero Factory's Breakout wave 9. A jungle theme 10. Fighting against evil reptile-based villains, like snakes or crocodiles. 11. An adventure in a snowy place. 12. Time travel 13. Fighting against ghosts 14. Meeting with humans and our planet Earth 15. Fighting against evil versions of themselves, like completely robotic ones or shadow-based ones. 16. Using mechs similar to Hero Factory's Invasion From Below wave 17. Heroes fighting each other. 18. The Shadowed One being a main villain 19. Tuyet being a main villain because she wants to conquer the Matoran Universe 20. An adventure where it centers Toa or probably Glatorian that don't use the following elemental powers, Fire, Water, Air, Ice, Stone, or Earth. They would use different ones, like Lightning or Gravity. 21. An adventure were villains from past storylines return to get revenge on heroes for their defeats. 22. An adventure where there is technology involved. I would imagine characters using smartphones along the way. Lol. It would be similar to Ninjago's Nindroid wave and Nexo Knights 23. A war where heroes and villain battle each other as fusions of themselves, similar to Transformers' Combiner Wars. In there, fusions can be used often this time (perhaps more than how G1 did) 24. An adventure where a villain or more threaten to ruin time and space. They would do that by either time-traveling to past storylines to have the bad guys or travel through dimensions (G1, G2, and G3) and threaten them. Heroes from either the past storylines or the dimensions would have to work together to defeat this threat. So, yeah. Those are themes that I would like Bionicle to try if it returns. What do you guys think? What themes would you prefer Bionicle to try, too?

    IT'S BACK

BIONICLE G3 has been announced by LEGO!
  9. Hi, guys! I know that Bionicle G2 is over ( ) and we are talking about what would G3 look like if it were to happen, so I would like to ask you this: what characters would you like to come back, how would they be and look like, and how would you like their story information and backstories to be like? It would be obvious that the Toa Mata/Masters and Makuta (Teridax) would come back, but I would like some other characters (both G1 and G2) to come back. Usually when characters come back in reboots, they tend to look sort of different and have their story information at least slightly altered. Examples include Spider-Man movies and TV shows, Marvel's Hulk movies, Batman movies and TV shows, The Powerpuff Girls TV shows, Transformers TV series, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TV shows and movies. Bionicle G3 would probably have a new building system if anyone is sick and tired of the CCBS. Here's my list of Bionicle characters: 1. Toa Mata/Toa Nuva/Masters/Uniters - Obvious. I would like them to be Matoran who train to be Toa before they can become them. The first forms on the Toa should be a mix of their Mata and Master forms, but with no gold or silver pieces. All of the Toa should be medium-sized sets that could save some money for Lego. They first would get new armor that makes them Uniters and able to combine with the Elemental Creatures, then get Energized Protodermis to become the Toa Nuva, then wear the Adaptive Armor and become able to combine with the Av-Matoran. I would also like the Toa to form the Toa Kaita again and a Toa Nui. If they get new and easy-to-memorize titles, they would be Heroes of Elements (and the same would go to other Toa). 2. Tahu - His first form would have: Primary color: opaque red. Secondary color: orange. Weapons: two fire swords that combine into a surfboard. Mask: Mask of Shielding or Fire. Eye color: blue or orange. He would be confirmed as the leader of the team this time. 3. Gali - Primary color: normal blue. Secondary colors: light or dark blue. Weapons: two hooks or a trident. Mask: Mask of Water-Breathing or Water. Eye color: blue or yellow. 4. Lewa - Primary color: normal green. Secondary colors: light or dark green. Weapons: an axe/sword or two. Mask: Mask of Levitation or Air. Eye color: light green. His elemental power would be Air this time. 5. Kopaka - Primary color: white. Secondary colors: light grey or light blue. Weapons: a shield and a sword/spear. Mask: Mask of X-Ray Vision or Ice. Eye color: blue. He would be the deputy of the team this time, too. 6. Pohatu - Primary color: brown. Secondary colors: tan or yellow. Weapons: boomerangs and Feet Additions. Mask: Mask of Speed or Stone. Eye color: Orange, yellow, or green. He would have the same Mata gear function as his Mata set, so when you turn the knob, he can kick with his leg this time. He should also have his cheerful G1 personality. 7. Onua - Primary color: black. Secondary colors: dark gray or purple. Weapons: claws/hammer. Mask: Mask of Strength or Earth. Eye color: green or dark green. His body would shape like his Master counterpart. 8. Takua/Takanuva - stays the same, but his eyes would be either blue or yellowish. 9. The Turaga of Mata Nui/Toa Metru/Toa Hordika - stay the same. The Toa Metru should have their arms placed horizontally rather than. Let them have the same secondary colors and eye colors as the Toa Mata/Nuva/Masters/Uniters above or their Turaga forms. I would like the Toa Metru/Turaga teach the Mata/Nuva/Masters/Uniters how to do the duties of Toa. 10. Toa Inika/Mahri - stay the same, but I would like them to be the Toa Mata/Nuva/Masters/Uniters' protégés. 11. Jaller - In his Inika form, give him two swords. 12. Hahli - Her secondary color would be light blue/dark blue, so he wouldn't look like a Toa Lightning (white) or a Toa of the Green (green). 13. Kongu - in his Mahri form, have him keep his melee combat weapon that he abandoned in G1. 14. Hewkii - in his Mahri form, make his arms even and give him a right hand. 15. Nuparu - in his Mahri form, give him the Aqua Blaster Blade. 16. Mata Nui (being) - If Mata Nui were to be a 7-foot-tall, Toa-like being, he would also have able to become giant, like his special edition set in 2009, in the story when he, well, goes Hulk on his enemies. If he were to have a Thornax Launcher in his set again, Mata Nui would have and use it in the story this time, or if he doesn't include it, don't have him do it in the story. It would have to be one of these two choices in G3. 17. The Infected Rahi from 2001 - I would like the Kane-Ra and Muaka's arms to be poseable and be less loose for storage. Give each of them two treads for legs, and the same goes to the Tarakava. I would like the Sand Tarakava to be released as a set as well. The Nui-Rama (wasps) need four more legs while the Nui-Jaja (scorpions) need two more legs. The Manas would not be battery-powered this time (I am not a fan of needing batteries). 18. Bohrok, Bohrok Va, Bahrag, and Bohrok-Kal - stay the same. 19. Exo-Toa - stay the same, but they could adapt to Toa's new building-system-made bodies. 20. Boxor - stay the same. I would like Agori or Okotan use it, too. 21. Rahkshi - stay the same. I would also like the Rahkshi of Heat Vision to be named, too. 22. Makuta Teridax - a mix of his 2003 set, Mask of Light movie form, Ultimate Dume set, Legends of Metru Nui movie form, and 2016 Titan forms by description, and I would like him to appear in a set again this time. He would be Mata Nui's brother or just be called "brother" again. He would first have the Mask of Shadows. When defeated by the Toa Mata, he would wear the Mask of Ultimate Power (as a set this time) to combat their powers the next time they meet. He would also use the Mask of Control to control his minions along the way. His primary colors should be black and red. 23. Takutanuva - his set should come with the Mask of Light and Shadows this time. 24. Nidhiki - it would be interesting if he were a Toa who was mutated in a science experiment. It would be cool if he appeared as both Toa and monster as sets. 25. Krekka - stays the same, but with two eyes this time. His arms should look more like the Legends of Metru Nui movie than his 2004 set, meaning they should be symmetrical rather than looking different from each other. 26. Niwark - stays the same. I would love him fight against Ikir or Agil. 27. Sidorak - stays the same, but his arms' articulation should be fixed. He needs a left hand, too. 28. Roodaka - stays the same, but she needs hands. 29. Keetongu - stays the same, but he needs hands/paws. 30. Visorak - stay the same. 31. Vahki - stay the same, and they should have elemental powers, too, if they were to control and patrol their certain Metru. 32. Lhikan - stays the same. He would appear as both Toa and Turaga as sets. 33. Kikanalo - stay the same. 34. Dume - stays the same, but give him a staff and make look more like a Turaga than his 2004 set. A Toa set being released this time would be cool, too. 35. The Rahaga/Toa Hagah - stay the same, but the other four Toa Hagah should be released as sets this time. 36. Voporak - give his lower arms hands. Would be cool if his set includes the Mask of Time, and he would be Sidorak's servant and his second-in-command for the Visorak and/or a fully official Dark Hunter. 37. Krakua - would like to see him as an official set. 38. The Piraka - would be cool if they are enhanced during science experiments to use their elemental powers independently and able to combine into Kaita and Piraka Nui. Plus, I would like them to have opening mouths in their sets. 39. Zaktan - would be cool if he were to be fused with Protodites during a science experiment. Think of it as mixing Skakdi DNA with Protodites. 40. Vezon - would be interesting if he were to be created from a science experiment as a clone created from Vezok's DNA, but deformed as a result. 41. Fenrakk/Kardas Dragon - stays the same. 42. Axonn - stays the same. 43. Brutaka - stays the same. It would cool if he appeared as both normal and Pit-mutated forms in set forms. 44. The Barraki - would be interesting if they are mutated with sea animal DNA during a science experiment. Plus, I would like them to have opening mouths in their sets. 45. Kalmah - he would have 6-8 tentacles for legs. 46. Ehlek - perhaps giving his set's claws a function where you push his claw prongs into his gauntlets and then push them out, similar to Wolverine from Marvel or the Shredder from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Give him one or two secondary colors, which are yellow and/or blue (I got that idea from Electro from Marvel and The Amazing Spider-Man movie in 2014). Also, fix his torso by making it less weird. Plus, give him an eel tail and a lower jaw. 47. Carapar - he would have 6-8 crab legs for legs and one pincer on each hand while his Squid Launcher is mounted on his shoulder. Plus, give him a lower jaw. 48. Mantax - make his arms look even by having same pieces on the forearms at the same length. Plus, give him a lower jaw. I would like him to have a function where he can turn from standing upright to having his body laying on the ground perfectly flat, like a manta ray that he is based on. 49. Pridak - give him a shark tail that can articulate, similar to Jawblade from Hero Factory. Perhaps make his dorsal fin and teeth bigger. Would be cool if his mouth can open and close in his set. 50. Nocturn - stays the same, but perhaps give him an extra tentacle. 51. Gadunka - stays the same. 52. Dekar and Hydraxon - stay the same. 53. Lesovikk - stays the same. If he were to appear in G3, make him more associated with the Toa Mahri's mission. Plus, he has to get over his guilt this time. 54. Karzahni - stays the same, but I would like his normal and mutated forms to be released as sets. If he were to appear in G3, make him more associated with the Toa Mahri's mission, too. The Toa Mahri would gladly give him pay back. 55. Artakha - would love to see him as a set. 56. Matoran - feels classic that way. I would like the ones that came out as sets be reintroduced, too. I would also like Vultraz and Mazeka to get really involved in the Toa Nuva's battle with the Kardi Nui Makuta. 57. Velika - as both a Matoran and a Great Being in sets. 58. Maxilos and Spinax - stay the same. 59. The Karda Nui Makuta in 2008 - stay the same. 60. Makuta Icarax - I would like him to stab Makuta Teridax in the back when a situation calls for it much more than in the 2008 storyline, similar to Scarscream from Transformers. 61. Makuta Miserix - would like to see him as an official set and goes to battle Teridax more. 62. Glatorian - stay the same. 63. Gresh and Vastus - give them Jungle powers to match their tribe. 64. Gelu - have Mata Nui give him Ice powers to match his tribe. 65. Agori - stay the same. 66. The Vorox - stay the same, but it would be cool if they were once normal Glatorian who were mutated in a science experiment with scorpion DNA. 67. The Zesk - stay the same, but it would be cool if they were once normal Agori who were mutated in a science experiment with scorpion DNA. 68. The Skrall - stay the same. Perhaps fix Tuma's legs' articulation. 69. Tren Krom - stays the same, and I would like him to be released as a set. 70. The Shadowed One and the Dark Hunters - stay the same. 71. Lariska - would like to see her as a set. 72. Helryx - would like to see her as a set. 73. Tuyet - would like to see her as a set. Perhaps make her a main villain in a new storyline. 74. The Element Lords - stay the same, but I would like to think that they got their powers from the Elemental Creatures (from G2) through a science experiment created by the Great Beings. The Great Beings would study the Creatures and their powers, so they can take some of their DNA and use it to turn normal people into the Element Lords. I would also like them to be released as sets. 75. Baterra - stay the same, but I would like them to be released as sets. 76. Makuta Spiriah - stay the same, but would be interesting if he were to be the ruler of the Skakdi. 77. Nektann (warlord) - Stays the same, but I would like him being slightly bigger than a Piraka in his set this time. It would be interesting if he would be Spiriah's second-in-command. 78. Nektann (robot) - I would like it to be its own set, like Maxilos. 79. Kabrua - would like to see him as a set, and would be slightly larger than a Vorox in his set, too. Or, I would like him to be the Vorox's own Tuma. 80. The Great Beings - I would like to see at least one of them or Angonce as a set. 81. The Protectors and their people in the island of Okoto - stay the same, but it would be interesting if they reveal as Agori who live in an island (Okoto) on Spherus Magna's Aqua Magna region. 82. Ekimu - stays the same, I would like to think that Ekimu would be one of the Great Beings' creations. He would also either be an inventor of Kanohi or Masks of Powers and provides the Great Beings with them, or the Great Beings had taught how to make masks. Either, he would be the first Mask Maker in history, and he would provided assistance. He would also be an assistant to Artakha or either one of them is inspired by the other in creating things. I would also like him to be a Titan set. 83. Skull Spiders - stay the same. I would like one of them to mind-control Lewa. 84. Lord of Skull Spiders - his set should be released as Titan-sized, like the 2015 Online Animations. His face should be made of more pieces and have two more legs. I would like to see him show and use the Golden Mask of Skull Spiders in the G3 story, too. 85. Skull Creatures and Skull Raiders - stay the same. I would like the see the Skull Raiders, including Axato, as sets. I would like all of the six Toa Mata/Nuva/Masters/Uniters get his/her own Skull foe and drained mask this time. I mean, Gali and Tahu never had their own foes or had their masks drained. Kopaka's and Pohatu's weren't drained in the G2 story, either. Have the Skull villains steal and drain all of their masks in the story, but do one of the Toa at the time (example: first Lewa. After getting his mask back, it's Pohatu's turn, then Kopaka, etc.), too (I would like to think that Axato would be Gali's own foe who could drain her mask). The Skull villains should get more character development and have longer and harder battles than in G2. 86. Kulta - He needs more character development and have longer and harder battles than in G2. 87. The Elemental Creatures - I would like to think of them as inspirations for the creation of the Element Lords or creations of the Great Beings. I would like that there are more than seven creatures (for example, a Creature of Lightning and a Creature of Air) and the fact that there are types of them (for example: two Ikir's). I would like the creatures to combine with at least any Toa, Glatorian, Umarak the Hunter, and perhaps Ekimu. Agil should be released as an official set that can combine with a being in the same way as the others (What I mean by that is attaching to the back and head). Also, Uxar's wings should be fixed. 88. Umarak - I would like to think that he may either join the Dark Hunters or would want to lead them by overthrowing the Shadowed One. It would be interesting if he would become the Destroyer by being mutated in a science experiment, perhaps in a similar condition as the Abomination from The Incredible Hulk movie in 2008. His forelegs should be fixed. I would also like to see him capture and use all of the Elemental Creatures. (He only captured two while he didn't use Uxar as much as Ketar). 89. The Shadow Traps - stay the same, but I would like the Ice Trap to be released in sets along the way. 90. The Elemental Beasts/Shadow Horde - stay the same, but I would like each of the Toa Mata/Nuva/Masters/Uniters have his/her own foe and corrupted mask. Each foe should come with the Toa's corrupted mask in the story. I mean, Lewa and Pohatu never had their own foes or corrupted masks. Kopaka has his own mask, but not really a foe. Gali has her own foe, but not her mask. I would like Storm Beast to include Gali's corrupted mask rather than Kopaka's if it were Gali's own enemy. I got the idea about science experiments from recent Marvel movies and TV shows, like Ultimate Spider-Man TV show, The Amazing Spider-Man movies in 2012 and 2014, and Marvel's Hulk movies. So, there. These are my ideas of characters that I would like them to appear in G3. I know it's a lot, but I picked them because I feel that they would be the most significant characters to a story, and I would like their sets to be more accurate to the story this time. Also so, you understand what I'm saying here, all of this? What about your ideas?
  10. Since that horrible cancellation of Bionicle G2 happened, I started to compare Bionicle G2 to a movie franchise called The Amazing Spider-Man movies in 2012 and 2014 (you ever heard about them?). I noticed that there are some similarities between the two franchises, and they are: 1. Both are rebooted 2010s versions from the original 2000s versions that are modernized, used for younger audience, came around five years after the cancellations of the 2000s versions, got cancelled after two years since they started, and lasted shorter than their 2000s versions. 2. Each of both 2000s versions have good and bad reviews in their last installments before they got rebooted. 3. Companies who made the 2000s versions couldn't continue them, so that's why they made the reboots. 4. Each of the 2010s versions have two storylines. Bionicle G2 has two story years while The Amazing Spider-Man series has two movies. 5. Both the 2010s versions were planned to last longer, but they were stopped as they got cancelled. 6. Both the 2010s versions use different actors to play their recycled characters, as well as the characters are and look different from their 2000s versions. 7. Both the 2010s versions use new characters as well as the old ones. 8. Both have main protagonists who learn how to be a hero and how to use their powers. The Toa had to learn that they have to fight evil to save Okoto, use their weapons, elemental powers, and masks. Peter Parker from TASM learns to become Spider-Man after he got spider-powers by learning how to use them and it is his self-given duty to save and protect people from threats. 9. The heroes from both franchises change suits and get new equipment. 10. Most of each of the 2010s franchises' villains are new and the main antagonists are old ones from the 2000s franchises, but look different and have different lives. 11. The heroes get ordinary people to support them in their adventures. 12. The heroes determine to know the truth that is related and personal to them. The Toa want to learn about their past while Peter wanted to learn about his parents' disappearance. 13. The heroes learn something about their evil enemies' intentions. The Toa learned about the Skull Creatures wanting to steal their golden masks to steal their energy and Umarak the Destroyer seeking the pieces of the Mask of Ultimate Power. Peter learns about a secretly-corrupt company called Oscorp's intentions to do bio-engineering and genetic-altering. 14. Both the 2010s franchises have funny and agile heroes, who are Lewa and Spider-Man. 15. Both show more funny scenes than their 2000s counterparts. 16. The Lord of Skull Spiders and the Lizard from the first The Amazing Spider-Man movie are the first villains to be fought by the heroes, as well as they both attract creatures relating to them. The LoSS attracts the Skull Spiders while the Lizard attracts normal and smaller lizards. 17. Umarak is like the villains from TASM movies combined. Umarak is like Electro and the Rhino when he is hired by the main villain to help them (Umarak was hired by Makuta to get his Mask of Control while Electro and Rhino are hired by the Green Goblin to help him). The main villain also enhances them with things (Umarak got enhanced when Makuta used the Mask to turn him into his Destroyer while Harry Osborn (before he turned into the Green Goblin) gave Electro a suit to help him with his powers and Rhino with a giant metal suit to destroy Spider-Man). Umarak the Hunter is like the Green Goblin when he is a smart, green-armored guy who threatened to drop a good-hearted character that a hero cares off a tall structure in front of the hero (In this case, Umarak threatened to drop Ketar off a tall cliff in front of Pohatu while the Goblin threatened to drop a girl named Gwen Stacy from a tall tower in front of Spidey). When Umarak became the Destroyer, he is like the Lizard by being mutated with claws, Electro by being a mutated (never wanted to be mutated before the mutation happened) villain who has the most screen time than the other villains in the second installment and gets killed in the end, the Green Goblin by not wanting to be mutated into a freak, and the Rhino by being large and dangerous who appeared like that in the end of the second installment. 18. Pohatu and Spider-Man had to attempt to save beings that they cared from falling to their deaths. However, Pohatu saved Ketar while Spider-Man couldn't save Gwen, who is his girlfriend (Gwen died, and that was as traumatizing as Bionicle G1 and G2's cancellations). Plus, it's interesting that both Pohatu and Peter's names both start with a "P", and Ketar element, Stone, is the same as the actress who played Gwen, Emma Stone's last name. Lol. 19. Makuta is like the Rhino and Green Goblin combined. Makuta got mutated by the Mask of Ultimate Power while Harry Osborn was given a serum that turned him into the Green Goblin. They became stronger and got new armor and powers. They also both appear, fought and get defeated by the heroes and at the very end of the second installments and the entire stories (not too impressed, in my opinion). Makuta and Rhino are also big and last villains in the second installments and the entire stories to be fought by the heroes (Makuta got defeated while Rhino's battle with Spider-Man was never concluded sadly). 20. They both have a grudge against the heroes before they got mutated. Makuta was jealous of Ekimu, so he created the Mask of Ultimate Power and was trying to use it, but Ekimu stopped him by knocking the mask off from his face. Makuta later turned evil and wanted to defeat Ekimu and the Toa when he could get out of the Shadow Realm. Harry asked Spider-Man if Spider-Man could help him cure his disease, but Spidey declined, so Harry hated him and turned evil. 21. Stories from both the 2010s stories have shadowed villains who secretly serve as major threats to the heroes. Makuta is sort of like that before revealing his giant form while a man in the shadows in TASM movies works with Harry in creating the Sinister Six and defeating Spider-Man. 22. Both second installments sadly show major female characters with heroic hearts die in the end. In the 4th episode of The Journey to One, Gali died by having her soul sucked into the Shadow Realm, but the soul returned to her body, so she's alive again. Gwen, however, died from a fall from a tall clock building in the end of the The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and stays dead (Poor girl. Why can't she be like Gali by being still alive? ). (To be honest, I originally thought that Pohatu is going to die instead of Gali because Gwen's actress, Emma Stone's last name is the same as Pohatu's element. Lol. Plus, Pohatu would have sacrificed himself to try to make up for his mistake of letting Umarak the Hunter take the Mask of Control when Umarak, as the Destroyer, proves too powerful for the Toa to defeat.) 23. Each of the rebooted franchises has both good and bad reviews and their stories are a bit rushed, which could be reasons why they are infamously cancelled. That really broke my heart twice. (crying in tears of sadness). When some people say that after their cancellations, they feel that the rebooted franchises could be sort of forgotten. Both rebooted franchises may have ended, but they may be able to have a future for their entire franchises in history. The Amazing Spider-Man series got cancelled because of mixed reviews on the second movie and Marvel Studios got back their Spider-Man movie rights from Sony as they both decided to share it, so Spider-Man could appear in Marvel Studios' Marvel Cinematic Universe movie called Captain America: Civil War, which was released this year, which is two years from TASM series's cancellation. Spider-Man will also get his own MCU movie coming 2017. Marvel Studios always makes very successful movies and people love the new Spidey (the new actor was well), so they would make new Spider-Man movies more successful than the old ones. Bionicle G2 got cancelled for an unknown, possibly because of bad sales and the story being too simple and rushed. It is unknown if Bionicle could back after 2017 because we know that there won't be any new sets in that year, but due to my analysis on the Spider-Man movies, I made a theory that would enlighten you: Lego would be planning to make a G3 in possibly 2018 and this time, they would be feature some Bionicle characters (mostly likely the Toa Mata/Toa Masters) into a Lego cinematic universe. It would be The Lego Movie Cinematic Universe where they will have major roles or a different cinematic universe based on Lego in general and similar to Lego Dimensions (imagine Tahu, Preston Stormer from Hero Factory, Lloyd from Ninjago, Laval from Legends of Chima, Clay Moorington from Nexo Knights, Flain from Mixels, and Emmet from The Lego Movie working together to defeat a common threat Avengers-style?). This would be similar to how Spider-Man first appeared in the MCU. Or something similar to the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie this year in a better way where the Toa fight and/or assist some characters from other Lego themes to face a common threat (Imagine Tahu fighting or assisting Preston Stormer or Kai from Ninjago BvS style?). Or Bionicle could reboot as its own theme before it could crossover with other Lego themes. Either way, Lego would make successful stories and themes, like they did with The Lego Movie, so let's all hope that same goes to Bionicle as much as Marvel Studios is to Spider-Man. So, what do you guys think of all this? Good comparisons? Find my theory possible that Bionicle could back as G3 that way?

    2028

I can't wait for G3, which has been confirmed to be launching next year, in 2028! Interestingly, there are these six heroes called 'Toa', controlling the elements of: Fire, Air, Jungle, Stone, Ice, and Lightning. Seems that Ice and Water have been combined, as have Stone and Earth. Seems to be the first incarnation of BIONICLE without Makuta, though it would also seem that the Bohrok are the first year bad guys this time around. Or at least, things that look and are functionally very similar to the Bohrok. G1 lasted ten years, G2 lasted eight, and I hope they don't pull the controversial 'Tahu is evil' again like they did at the end of G2.
