  1. A pod opens out as liquid protodermis seeps out. A being from a long time ago has reawakened. His body and face are all scarred from battles from long ago even though his body was preserved and reconstructed. A deep and dark computer voice speaks, "Welcome Flaredrick. It has been a while." The battered Toa regains his vision and consciousness. "Where am I? How long have I been out?" "We are in your secret underground bunker where you have been confined to your healing chamber. Roughly a whole year has past since you last stepped foot into this world." The Toa walks up to a console where many screens are showing activity of the outside world. "What happened while I was gone?" "The Mafia is still going on strong, but a new contender has risen. One known as Game of Thrones." "Isn't that a show where different clans brutally manipulate each other and gruesomely kill each other for odd reasons while your favorite character dies?" "Indeed." The Toa scratches his mask in bewilderment. "Who would've known that would be a thing." "They are in their second season as we speak." "Wow! Two whole seasons while I was gone. Time really does fly." "The Bionifight Contest is still going on strong, but mostly they keep calling it Bionifight One." "Why? Couldn't they come up with a catcher name than that?" "Analysis unknown." "What about Hitman? Are they still going?" "Unfortunately, the series did keep going until it dropped from the face of this world. It has not been held since then." "What?!" The Toa's anger flared up as the temperature began to rocket around him. "How dare they not continue such an honored tradition! This is unacceptable!" He slammed his fist onto the console and made a dent into the machine's systems. Then, an idea popped into the Toa's head as he began to calm down. "Computer...launch the initiative." "Re_engaging systems...searching combatants..." "I think it's high time we show the world what a true battle royal is like. Gather the best fighters that this world has to offer...cause in this game...there is no room for the weak to survive." ..... How to Play: In Hitman, the objective is to kill all you opponents until only one is left standing. At each round, all players must PM me their intended target for the round. You must tell me by which means of killing you are wanting to dispatch your target, as well as which Gambler's Shard you would like to use, should you want to use it. Each player will PM me a stat sheet of themselves with resistances ranging from 1-6. No two stats can be the same number. Ex: Sharp Object: 1 Blunt Object: 2 Elemental: 3 Poison: 4 Explosives: 5 Ranged: 6 In order for your kill to be successful, a die will be rolled and if the number rolled is equal or higher than the resistance of the target, then you are awarded a kill. For instance: Hapori Tohu uses heat vision on Black Six. Black Six's resistance to elemental damage is 3, but the die rolled onto a 5. Black Six is vaporized into ashes. Be creative with your arsenal so long as a weapon type is included. When players PM their target for the round, they have the option to use a Gambler's Shard. Rules and regulations for the shards are as follows: Possibility Shard: Die is rolled. If even, likelihood of survival is increased, but if odd, survival is diminished. Iden Shard: Choose a coin outcome. Pick a second target. Upon death (if ever), if your choice was correct, you are awarded the second kill (However, success is not guaranteed), otherwise, no kills are made. Sanok Shard: Choose number between 1-6. Die is rolled. If die lands on your number, then you are 100% guaranteed the kill for the round. Pakari Stone: Choose a resistance. Die is rolled. If even, add the outcome to the number rolled for the kill. If odd, subtract. Hau Shard: Die is rolled. If even, add number to a specific resistance. If odd, subtract. When using a Gambler's Shard, just say in your PM, "I'd like to use Iden Shard," and follow the instructions. Disclaimer: You only have one of each shard. Use them wisely. Rules: 1) All BZPower rules apply 2) Please only use one PM throughout the duration of the game. 3) Do NOT switch up targets mid-round. If I am given a second target (unless by shard), I will ignore your second target and go with your first choice. 4) Please do not complain about the outcomes. I only roll once with a six-sided die (unless it is the final round and the supposed outcome rolled would be everyone dying). 5) Have fun Players: 1: Toa TimeLord 2: Valendale 10: Toa Smoke Monster 13: Blessed Blade 14: xccj 17: Fluorescent Flowers 18:JAG18 24: Makuta Luroka 27: Shadow Vezon Admission is now closed
  2. STORY Somewhere deep in a frozen wasteland that's name shall not be uttered, a single being sat within a shack, face obscured by the hood of their coat. "The blood has long since dried and The Gods of Hitman grow thirsty once again." The obscured figure rose from their chair, gaze drawn towards a dart board that graced the far wall. Ten photos were tacked to the board via ice pick. The figure turned away and exited the shack, their gaze not on the path before them, but on the path in their mind. "Time to do something about that thirst." And with those words uttered, the obscured figure was gone in an instant. Ten huts were robbed of their occupants that night, with the few witnesses stating they saw a whirlwind of snow surrounding the huts in the dead of night. PLAYING THE GAME What do I do in this game? In this game, you are attempting to assassinate other players. You do this by PMing me with the name of the player you are targeting. You have six weapons in your arsenal to choose from: a Knife, a Gun, Poison, an Explosive, a Sledgehammer, or Wire. In addition to your target's name, you will also PM me the weapon you will use in your assassination attempt. You are not guaranteed a kill. Different assassins have different resistances and weaknesses against different weapons. When signing up for the game, you will PM me a list of all the weapons and corresponding numerical values, like so: Knife: 1 Gun: 2 Poison: 3 Explosive: 4 Sledgehammer: 5 Wire: 6 This is your profile. It tells me which weapons you are weak against and which weapons you are strong against. The lower the number, the weaker you are to that form of attack. For example, if someone targeted you with a Wire, I would roll a die. If I rolled a number lower than 6, you would survive. If someone targeted you with Poison, I would roll a die. If I rolled a number lower than 3, you would survive. If someone targeted you with a Knife, you would die instantly, as there is no number on a die lower than 1. Rounds will take place roughly over 24-hour intervals. If you fail to send me the name of a target and a weapon of choice, you will be killed for inactivity. What happens when multiple people attack the same target? I will calculate the assassination attempts chronologically. The first person to PM me that target's name will receive 'first dibs' on the assassination attempt. If he fails, the next person will get a shot, and so on. What happens if the last two/three/etc. people all kill each other? There can only be one survivor, so if the last few assassins all kill each other I will reroll. SIGNING UP FOR THE GAME What do I need to do to be able to play? To sign up, state that you are signing up by posting in this topic, and then PM me the following list of weapons with corresponding numerical values 1-6. You choose which weapons you are resistant to and which weapons you are vulnerable to. Ensure the Subject line of your PM is "HITMAN PROFILE: (Username)" Knife: Gun: Poison: Explosive: Sledgehammer: Wire: THE "WILLING" PARTICIPANTS Eliminated targets are designated in Ice. Sign-ups shall remain open until the 10 slots are filled or 48-Hours. Whichever comes first. 1: ToaTimeLord N1 2: Trijhak (Pulse) 3: Naked Link (Luroka) N1 4: Chro N1 - My Missing Half 5: Shadow FF N2 6: Toa Smoke Monster N2 7: Shadowvezon N1 8: Breath of the Wild (Voltex) N1 9: Toru Nui 10: Papika (Blade) N1 RULES 1: All bzp rules apply. Common sense really. 2: No changing your targets. I will only accept your first target, even if you target a dead person, so be aware of whose alive and whose not. 3: There is no bias. I am literally rolling a die, or the program that simulates such. Such things are not partial. Host's Notes: So yeah... This is my first attempt at a game. I am by no means a writer, so don't expect scenes on a scale of Voltex, Pahrak or really any of the typical game hosts. This lack of experience also means there may also be some delay, either due to me having a job or writing the actual scene, though I hope I will be able to get such things done in a timely manner. Just please have patience. Also the second and third sections are shamelessly ripped from Voltex's Hitman 19 game.
  3. Welcome, fellow Makuta. I'll make this short: The order of Mata Nui just hired a new team of Toa, and I want them off the map. My process of selection has led me to believe that you are all the best fit for the job, but I can only afford to send one of you. To that end, I have decided to have a little competition. The rules are simple: Be the last one remaining! Welcome to: HOW TO PLAYIn this game, you are attempting to assassinate other players. You will do this by PMing me with both the name of the player you are targeting and the weapon that you will use to do it. You have six weapons at your disposal: a Knife, Rahkshi, Kraata Powers, an Explosive, Mask Powers, or a Rahi. You are not guaranteed a kill; different assassins will have different resistances and weaknesses against different weapons. When you sign up for the game, you will also PM me a list of all the weapons and corresponding numerical values, like this: Knife: 1Rahkshi: 2Power: 3Explosive: 4Mask: 5Rahi: 6 This is your “profile”. It tells me which weapons you are weak against and which weapons you are strong against. The lower the number, the weaker you are to that specific form of attack. For example: with the profile above, if someone targeted you with a Rahi, I would roll a die. If I rolled a number lower than 6, you would survive. If you were targeted by a Power attack and I rolled a number lower than 3, you would survive. If someone targeted you with a Knife, you would die instantly as there is no number on a die lower than 1. Rounds take place over 24-hour intervals. If you fail to send me a target and weapon of choice, you will take no action that round. What happens when multiple people attack the same target?I will calculate the assassination attempts chronologically. The first person to PM me that target's name will receive 'first dibs' on the assassination attempt. If he fails, the next person will get a shot, and so on. 4. A sort-of reboot for the Bionicle Hitman series, made in conjunction with Luroka. I'll be hosting this brief, smaller game, and then he shall host Bionicle Hitman X2 soon after. The Order of Mata-Nui has historically never allowed Toa into its ranks, but today, that is going to change. Helryx has recently decided that having a Toa team operating within the Order’s ranks would be extremely useful, and so she has called for said team to be assembled. Alongside an existing agent by the name of Krakua, they have already hired four other Toa. This is where you come in. In all of the testing so far, you have all, despite all odds, managed to score evenly with each other. So Helryx has organized a competition to see which of you is truly the best of the best; whoever is the last one standing will get to join the Order, and the rest of you… well, you’ll be a little too dead to care. Let the competition begin! HOW TO PLAY In this game, you are attempting to assassinate other players. You will do this by PMing me with both the name of the player you are targeting and the weapon that you will use to do it. You have six weapons at your disposal: a Knife, Poison, Elemental Powers, an Explosive, Mask Powers, or a Zamor Launcher. You are not guaranteed a kill; different assassins will have different resistances and weaknesses against different weapons. When you sign up for the game, you will also PM me a list of all the weapons and corresponding numerical values, like this: Knife: 1 Poison: 2 Elemental: 3 Explosive: 4 Mask: 5 Zamor: 6 This is your “profile”. It tells me which weapons you are weak against and which weapons you are strong against. The lower the number, the weaker you are to that specific form of attack. 5. THE PREMISE OF THE GAME What is this game about? The premise is simple. You are a Dark Hunter, trained in the classic art of assassination. Since the Odinan economy has fallen on hard times, the Shadowed One has found it necessary to downsize the Dark Hunters' off-time operations, resulting in some necessary layoffs. To determine who stays and who dies, the Shadowed One has organized a game of sorts. All of the assassins currently on his payroll must attempt to eliminate one another. The one assassin left alive at the end of the carnage gets to keep his or her job, and will receive a substantial pay raise. Let the game begin. If you fail to send me the name of a target and a weapon of choice, you will take no action that round. Knife: Gun: Poison: Explosive: Sledgehammer: Wire: PAYROLL These are your fellow assassins. 6. I've decided to finally stop procrastinating and get started. The Plot: The Shadowed One (who is still ShadowVezon in disguise) has organised another Hitman tournament, while secretly starting a zombie outbreak in the process, in order to determine the usefulness of zombies as a method of surviving death. How to Play: In Hitman, each player is trying to kill all the other players; each odd-numbered turn all active players will PM me a target and a weapon of their choice to use that round. Each player PMs me their profile with their weapon resistances; each weapon must have a number between one and six, but no two weapons can share the same number. An example profile: Blunt Objects: 3 Sharp Objects: 4 Explosives: Poisons/Toxins: 6 Ranged: 2 Elemental: 1 In order to kill a player, the die roll needs to be greater than the targeted player’s resistance. E. G. Huffpuff attacks Bahu with a Mace (blunt object) and a 5 is rolled. Bahu’s blunt object resistance is only 4, so he is killed. Be as creative as you want in your weapon choice so long as a weapon type (sharp object, blunt object, etc.) is included. If a weapon type is not included, I will assume the most logical type for the weapon chosen. At the beginning of each round every player will have forty-eight hours to pm their target. If you have any questions about any rules, feel free to ask in the topic and I will gladly answer to the best of my abilities. The Twist: Everything gains zombies eventually, so I might as well jump upon the bandwagon. When a player dies, they become a zombie. Zombies can still try and kill players, but their attacks have an additional 1/2 chance to fail. This is to ensure that the game doesn't end too quickly. It's a bit of an experiment, so this could easily go horribly wrong. That's the fun of it, I guess. Zombies cannot be killed, so they don't need to be killed to win the game. Zombies can't win, either. Rules: 1. All BZPower rules apply. 2. Please, only use one PM, as in, don’t keep sending me new PMs each round. 3. No switching targets mid-round. If I’m given a second target, I will use the first one and ignore any subsequent ones. 4. Please, no complaining about outcomes. All numbers come from an RNG. Player Slots: 1. If fewer than ten people join when sign-ups end, then we'll wait a bit longer in case some people arrive late to the party. More places will be created to accommodate surplus players. Even if someone happens to be really late, I'm sure I could fit them in as a zombie anyway.
  7. Hitman XVII: Games in the Dark The Plot: TSO arranges a wicked "game" for several prospective Dark Hunters involving day-time clashes and night-time assassinations. How-to-Play: In Hitman, each player is trying to kill all the other players; each odd-numbered turn all active players will pm me a target and a weapon of their choice to use that round. Each player pms me their profile with their weapon resistances; each weapon must have a number between one and six, but no two weapons can share the same number. An example profile: Blunt Objects: 5 Sharp Objects: 6 Explosives: 4 Poisons/Toxins: 3 Ranged: 2 Elemental: 1 In order to kill a player, the die roll needs to be greater than the targeted player’s resistance. E. TSO’s Game: During each even-numbered round, matches will take place; at the beginning of each round I will post the bracket of all active players showing who is fighting who. Matches will work like Rock-Paper-Scissors, but with six choices (elements) instead of three and with each element defeating two other elements. At the beginning of even-numbered rounds each player will pm their choice of three elements in the order they wish to use them. The extra elements are in case of a tie. If all three choices are the same then a tie is declared and both players will have a rematch to decide a winner. The Elements interact like so: Fire beats: Ice and Stone Water beats: Fire and Earth Air beats: Earth and Water Stone beats: Ice and Air Earth beats: Stone and Fire Ice beats: Water and Air They are also awards for winning matches: winners of one match may increase one of their resistances by one point and winners of two matches may target two people each odd numbered round. If a player beats all other players then they are crowned the winner of hitman. Rules: I. All BZPower rules apply. II. Please, only use one pm, as in, don’t keep sending me new pms each round. III. No switching targets mid-round. If I’m given a second target, I will use the first one and ignore any subsequent ones. IV. Please, no complaining about outcomes. I have a large puffy die, which I drop randomly and fairly. Player slots: I. The Forgotten Warrior (ShadowFlaredrick) II. III. Kopekemaster IV. Neo ShadowVezon killed by Gukko Lord V. VI. VII. Axilus VIII. IX. Voltex (Lucina) X. Toph Beifong XLVII: Aerixx Gukko Lord MMCDXXVMMCXXXV: Makuta Luroka Sign-Ups will last two days from the time of this topic’s posting. If fewer than ten people join when sign-ups end, then the game will start anyway. If more than ten people join before sign ups end then sign-ups will remain open.
  8. Plot: For centuries, warriors have fight courageously for their nations and their family name. Each one shows no fear, no surrender, and no mercy. Thirteen biomechanical beings stalk the great city of Okoto as their battlefield. Utilizing wits, stealth, and an array of weaponry, each warrior must fight to the bitter end for the ultimate prize: honor. How To Play: In Hitman, the goal is to kill each other until one is still standing. At each round all (living) players will PM their intended target for that round. You must give the weapon type, and which gambking stone if you wish to use one. Each player must PM me a profile with their weapon resistance on it. Resistance ranges from 1 to 6, but no two resistances can have the same number. Ex: Sharp Object: 1 Blunt Object: 2 Ranged: 3 Elemental: 4 Explosives: 5 Poison: 6 In order for your kill to work, a die is rolled and the number it lands on must be equal or higher than their resistance number. For example: Black Six uses explosive on Hapori Tohu. Tohu's resistance is 4 and the die lands on a 6, so he dies. Be creative in your weapons so long as a weapon type (ranged, blunt object, sharp object, poison, explosives, elemental) is included. When a player PMs their kill they can (optional) use a Gambler Stone. The rules and regulations are as follows for Gambler Stones: Possibility Stone: Die is rolled. If even, likelihood of survival increases. If odd, likelihood of survival drops. Iden Stone: Choose a coin outcome. Pick second target. Upon death (if ever), if your guess is correct both targets are eliminated (though success is not guaranteed), other wise, no kills are made. Sanok Stone: Guess a number between 1 and 6. Roll the die. If correct then the user’s next kill is guaranteed, otherwise nothing happens. Hau Stone: Choose a resistance. Roll die. If even add outcome to resistance. If odd, subtract. Pakari Stone: Die is rolled. If even add the outcome to the number rolled when deciding this round’s kill, if odd subtract the number. When using a Gambling Stone, just same in your PM, "I'd like to use the Possibility Stone." And follow the instructions. Note - You only have one stone of each and can only use one per round. Use them wisely. Rules: 1) All BZP rules apply here. 2) Please only use one PM. I'd hate having to go through multiple PMs in my inbox. 3) Do NOT switch targets mid round. If I'm given a second target (unless you use the stone), I will ignore that target and go with your first selection. 4) Please don't complain about the outcomes. I have a die I use for Star Wars monopoly which I roll fairly and unbiasly. 5) Have fun. 9. Hitman XV: Steltian Showdown The Plot: Ten Twelve kidnapped Biomechanical beings have been forced to compete in a brutal contest against their will for the enjoyment of Stelt’s upper classes. Tossed into a massive arena and given Stones of incredible—if unwieldy—power, to increase the bloodshed, only one will survive and win their freedom in the Steltian Showdown. How-to-Play: In Hitman, each player is trying to kill all the other players; each turn all (living) players will pm me a target, a weapon of their choice and a Gambler’s Stone they wish to use that round. Each player pms me their profile with their weapon resistances; each weapon must have a number between one and six, but no two weapons can share the same number. An example profile: Blunt Objects: 2 Sharp Objects: 1 Explosives: 3 Poisons: 4 Ranged: 5 Elemental: 6 In order to kill a player, the die roll needs to be equal or greater than the targeted player’s resistance. E. G. Player Huffpuff attacks Player Tor-Tor with a Mace (blunt object) and a 5 is rolled; Tor-Tor’s blunt object resistance is only 4, so he is killed and eliminated from the game. Be as creative as you want in your weapon choice so long as a weapon type (sharp object, blunt object, etc.) is included. At the beginning of each round every player will have forty-eight hours to pm their target. If you have any questions about any rules, feel free to ask in the topic and I will gladly answer to the best of my abilities. Gambling Stones: When a player pms their kill, they can also (but don’t have to) send me the Gambling Stone they wish to use that round. The Gambling Stones and their specific instructions are as follows: Akaku Stone: Choose a player. The die is rolled. That player’s weapon resistance equal to the number rolled is revealed to the Akaku Stone user. Kakama Stone: Choose a coin outcome. Pick a second target. If the guess is correct, then both kills are made (but not guaranteed success), otherwise, neither kill is made. Hau Stone: Choose a resistance. Roll the die. If even add the outcome to the player’s chosen resistance for the round, if odd subtract it. Pakari Stone: The die is rolled. If even add the outcome to the number rolled when deciding this round’s kill, if odd subtract the number. Sanok Stone: Guess a number between 1 and 6. Roll the die. If correct then the user’s next kill is guaranteed, otherwise nothing happens. When using a Gambling Stone, just say something like, “I wish to use the Pakari Stone,” and follow the specific stone’s instructions. Addendum I: Each player starts with one of each Gambling Stone each of which they may use once per game. Once a stone is used, it is gone for good; once a player is eliminated all their stones are gone for good. Rules: I. All BZPower rules apply. II. Please, only use one pm, as in, don’t keep sending me new pms each round. III. No switching targets mid-round. If I’m given a second target, I will use the first one and ignore any subsequent ones. 10. Welcome, one and all, to Hitman XIV. This is a game. The Plot Playing the Game: In Hitman XIV: Murder Simulator, you are attempting to assassinate all of the other places to be the very best, like no-one (except another 13) ever was. To do this, you must PM me the name of the player you want to target, as well as your choice of murder weapon. Additionally, when you sign-up you must also send me a copy/pasted form of the profile below in the PM, filling out your resistances to the six methods of murder on display. These are conveniently listed below: Gun (Ranged Weapons) Sword (Sharp objects) Sledgehammer (Blunt objects) Poison (Poison) Explosive (Things that go BOOM) Disk (Throwing objects) You must give each weapon a number between 1 and 6. No two weapons can share a number. These numbers tell me what you're strong/weak to. If someone attempts to kill you, I shall roll the RNG. If the number is lower than the number listed on the profile, you live. If not then, to put it bluntly, you die. For example, say you had a Poison resistance of 4. If the RNG rolled a 3 or below, you would live. If it rolled 4 or above, than you don't. Also, try and be creative in your choice of weaponry. It's more fun that way. As long as you try and loosely link your objects to one of the categories. Icepick fits into Sword, for example. EXAMPLE PROFILE Gun: 4 Sword: 1 Sledgehammer: 5 Poison: 6 Explosive: 3 Disk: 2 Each round will last approximately 48 hours, to ensure enough time for everyone to send in targets. It won't be an exact 48 hours for obvious reasons, so I'll make a post at some point after 48 hours have passed. Any targets after that post will not be counted. If multiple people target the same person, they will be calculated according to the order I received them. The first attempt to succeed will be the one who gets the kill. There must be one survivor at the end of the game, so I will intervene and reroll if all players would have ended up killing each other. The Twist: This game takes place in Cyberspace, and not in the normal world. That counts as a twist. Yes, it affects absolutely nothing. Think of it this way: If every game had a twist, then no game would have a twist, Rules: 1. Please use only one PM, it'll make my life much easier. 2. For the same reason, no switching targets. It'll be hard enough as it is. 3. I an completely unbiased, and will not affect any of the rolls. Not even against Kopekemaster. The Payroll: 1. Chro - Stabbed by Voxumo, Blown Up by Burnmad 2427135. Tyler Durden - Cleaved by Pulse Sign-Up Info Stuff Once this is posted, you will have approximately 2 days to sign-up. If the initial 10 slots have filled after 2 days, then the game will begin. If not, then it'll continue until either the spots fill or the game is slowly forgotten about. During the initial 2 days, additional places will be made for late signers, to avoid people missing out due to time zones, sleep, heavy work or whatnot. The 10 is just a guideline. Profiles should probably be sent in before sign-ups end. However, as long as they're sent in before Round 1 ends, it'll be fine. Anyone without profiles gets no resistances, and therefore any attack will instantly kill you, so it's not a good idea to leave it that late. If/When the Player List is filled, I'll post a full Introduction, because then I can refer to players who I know are actually playing the game. And just reminding you that for the first 2 days, I can include as many people as want to join. Don't feel discouraged just because 10 players have already joined, there'll be room for a few more.
  11. Welcome, all. I am death, your omnipresent narrator. It seems that The Shadowed One had grown bored of his Hitman games. Apparently, having some assemblage of characters kill each other just didn't carry quite the same... excitement that it once had. So, this time, he decided to make a few... changes. The first of which is merely an addition to the fact that you have no ultimate control over your fate. For every time you try to kill someone, I will roll (RNG) a 10-sided die. If you get a "6", then, unfortunately, your attack method fails. Badly. So badly, in fact, that you are the one to die. By your own hand, though not intentionally. So sorry. Your profile must be sent in. You will set up your profile in the following way. There are six weapon options. There are six numbers (1-6). You will assign a number to each weapon. Then, that will, in essence, be your "tolerance" to that weapon. So, if you set a weapon to "4", and someone attacks you with that weapon, and they roll a four, you're safe. But if they get a five or a six, then you're toast. By this standard, whatever you set for "6" is your can't-be-killed-by weapon. Obviously, you can only use each number once. Here is an example of a profile: Knife - 4 Sledgehammer - 3 Explosive - wait a minute. No. These weapons are much too boring. I'm gonna pull my rank here and move TSO's hand myself. We're upping the ante with these weapons. Instead of the normal ones, you get to choose from these: Saw Nail Meat Cleaver Syringe, with a filling of your choice Red Hot Poker and, of course, the infamous and highly deadly Rusty Spoon So, an example profile would be: Saw - 3 Nails - 1 Meat Cleaver - 6 Syringe - 5 Red Hot Poker - 4 Rusty Spoon - 2 Ah, yes. This looks good. This should be a... very fun round. For me, at least. When you send in a kill, it will look something like this. "I wish to kill ~~~~~ with a ~~~~~~." That's about it. If two people target each other, then they will be ordered chronologically. So, if the first person to send it in kills them, then they don't get to try to kill the first person. But if the first person fails, then the second person can have their turn. Oh, and I guess I'll copy these rules from the previous game. They look good. 1. Use only a single PM to send in your targets - that is, don't start a new PM each round; just add a reply to the existing PM. 2. No changing targets. I will accept the first PM you send me, and will ignore any others you send in an attempt to switch your target. 3. No complaining about outcomes. I am not biased; I am genuinely just rolling the RNG. This game is a little bit of strategy with a whole lot of luck. Oh, derp, forgot a roster: 1. Neo ShadowVezon (Did not send in profile) 2. Col. Mustang 3. Doorman 4. Chris Pratt 5. Axilus Prime 6. Makuta Lukora 7. Chro 8. JAG18 9. 10. 11. 12. (gonna make it a little smaller this round for sake of simplicity/not killing me, as well as generally smaller games recently)
  12. Bionicle Hitman XII: Maskmaker The plot A long time ago, on the mythical island of Otoko (not Okoto, the two are often confused), there lived a society of Toa. Among these Toa were six Mask Makers, who created Kanohi masks for all to use. They each specialized in the creation of one type of mask, a task at which each excelled. However, this lead to debate over which Maker created the best mask. The competition grew fierce, with each believing that his mask was the greatest of them all. None could convince the others that his mask was supreme, so they devised a tournament to determine the winner. Several warriors, each with a mask of their choosing, would fight to the death. Surely the mask the victor had chosen was the greatest. No? Well, too bad. They're fighting to the death anyway. The game In Hitman, you are attempting to assassinate all of the other players. You do this by PMing me with the name of the player you are targeting. In addition to your target's name, you will also PM me the murder method you will use in your assassination attempt. You have six methods of murder to choose from. Gun Warhammer Sword Element Poison Explosive You are not guaranteed a kill. Different assassins have different resistances and weaknesses against different weapons. When signing up for the game, you will PM me a list of all the murder methods and corresponding numerical values (one through seven). For example: This is your resistance profile. It tells me which weapons you are weak against and which weapons you are strong against. When someone attempts to kill you, I will roll a die. If the number falls below your resistance for the chosen weapon, you will survive. If not, you die. For example, if someone targeted you with an explosive, I would roll a die. If my die landed on anything below 6, you would survive the attempt. If you were targeted with a knife attack, and I rolled below 4, you'd live. If this requires any clarification, let me know, and I'll do my best to explain it to you. Each round will take about 48 hours, including plenty of time in which to PM me your target and weapon of choice. If you fail to send me the name of a target and a weapon of choice, you will take no action that round. What happens when multiple people attack the same target? I will calculate the assassination attempts chronologically. The first person to PM me that target's name will receive first dibs on the assassination attempt. If he fails, the next person will get a shot, and so on. What happens if the last two/three/etc. people all kill each other? There can only be one survivor, so if the last few assassins all kill each other I will reroll. The twist(s) As you should know now, this is a tournament of Toa, revolving around six types of Kanohi mask, to determine which mask power is greatest. Or so those conceited Mask Makers hope, anyway. But I think you're all more interested in determining which warrior is greatest. So, to that end, each of you will send me, along with your resistance sheet, your choice of mask. Each player will start with one mask from this list. Mask of Rebirth: One time use. The user will survive the first attempt on their life that would have been successful. The mask will lose its power after this, and can never regain it. Mask of Aggression: Allows the user to target people at twice the usual rate, meaning they pick two targets per round. Mask of Vengeance: When the user is killed, the mask's power will activate and kill the user's killer as well. Mask of Defense: The user of this mask may choose one method of murder (which may never be changed) to be completely invulnerable to. Mask of Absorption: Allows the user to draw strength from those they kill, permanently boosting a resistance of their choice by one point every time they kill someone. Mask of Power: Boosts the attack power of the user, meaning when I use the RNG to determine the user's attack's likelihood of succeeding, I will add +1 to it before calculating results. This makes the user more likely to get a kill. Now, when you get a kill, the mask of whoever you killed will come into your possession. When you have multiple masks, in addition to PMing me your target, you will PM me the mask you will wear that round. To keep things simple, though, you can't have two of the same mask. Ever. If a kill would result in you getting duplicates, the mask will just end up being destroyed in the process of the murder. Oh, and even though it won't affect your chances of winning in the slightest, include your choice of element in the PM, so I know what to do if you perform an elemental attack. So, choose your masks wisely, and good luck to you all! (Even though that really doesn't help anyone since the amount of luck everyone has is increased by the same amount.) The payroll These are your fellow assassins. Eliminated targets are crossed out. Payroll 1. Neo ShadowVezon 2. Burnmad: Toa of Emoticons 3. Makuta Luroka 4. Voltex Oblige 5. Zakaro 6. Chro 7. Captain Caboose 8. Phoenix Zero 9. JAG18 10. Pulse Trijhak 11. Kopekemaster 12. An/A Blade 13. Aiwendil The rules 1.
  13. In much the same vein as the BZP Mafia discussion topic, I have taken it upon myself to begin such a thread for Hitman as well. The same rules apply, being that this is not for discussion of currently running games, but for discussion of the series itself, proposal of ideas for new games, et cetera. You can discuss previous games, put forth new ideas, and discuss ways the games can be improved. Hitman I-III (Hitman, Fighty and Caboose) Hitman IV-VI (The After Games, JiMing et al.) Hitman Lite I (Hitman: Lite Version, Baltarc) Hitman Lite II (Hitman Lite 2: Pay Grade, Chro) Hitman VII (Hitman VII: The Armoury, Pulse) Hitman VIII (Hitman VIII: Codebreaker, Chro) Hitman IX (Hitman IX: Corpsetaker, Ehks) Hitman X (Hitman X: Transformer, Axilus) Hitman XI (Hitman XI: Worldshaker, Chro)
  14. BIONICLE HITMAN XI: WORLDSHAKER THE PLOT Unlike every DH-centric Hitman game to date, in Worldshaker you will be playing as Glatorian locked in the midst of the Core War on pre-Shattering Spherus Magna. The element lords, who originally received their power for the sake of order, have betrayed their purpose, and now spread chaos in their efforts to secure as much Energized Protodermis as possible. The conflict rages over the entire planet, and with more and more EP being drained from the core every day, who knows when the world might just shake itself apart... THE GAME In Hitman, you are attempting to assassinate all of your opponents, with the ultimate goal of being the final surviving assassin (or faction). You target other players by PMing me with the name of the player you are targeting. In addition to your target's name, you will also PM me the murder method you will use in your assassination attempt. You have six methods of murder to choose from. You are not guaranteed a kill. Different assassins have different resistances and weaknesses against different weapons. When signing up for the game, you will PM me a list of all the murder methods and corresponding numerical values (one through six). For example: This is your resistance profile. It tells me which weapons you are weak against and which weapons you are strong against. When someone attempts to kill you, I will roll a die. If the number falls below your resistance for the chosen weapon, you will survive. If not, you die. For example, if someone targeted you with a knife, I would roll a die. If my die landed on anything below 4, you would survive the attempt. If you were targeted with a sledgehammer attack, and I rolled below 6, you'd live. (It should also be noted that if you are targeted with a weapon for which you have a resistance of 1, you will die automatically, as there is no number below 1 for me to roll.) If this requires any clarification, let me know, and I'll do my best to explain it to you. Each round will (hopefully) take about 48 hours, including plenty of time in which to PM me your target and weapon of choice. If you fail to send me the name of a target and a weapon of choice, you will take no action that round. (Please note that due to my schedule being very busy right now, the timeframe might be a tiny bit stretched, but I can assure you that I will close the rounds and such on time, even if writing and posting scenes is a slightly different story.) What happens when multiple people attack the same target? I will calculate the assassination attempts chronologically. The first person to PM me that target's name will receive first dibs on the assassination attempt. If he fails, the next person will get a shot, and so on. What happens if the last two/three/etc. people all kill each other? There can only be one winning assassin (or faction), so if the last few assassins all kill each other I will reroll. THE TWIST(S) Every player will be a member of a four-person faction of Glatorian. There are five, and they are as follows: Players are distributed to teams by RNG, much like role decision in Mafia games. No picking teams this time. While you are allowed to kill your teammates, it is not recommended, for obvious reasons. Not to bring Mafia issues into Hitman games, but I'd like to remind you all that treason will not be tolerated, and this policy will be strictly enforced. Whichever faction wins the battle each round will receive a cache of Energized Protodermis to upgrade their defenses. In other words, if your team is most successful in a round (by kill-death ratio), every surviving member of the team will receive one extra resistance point. (If multiple teams are tied for highest KD, then they all gain the resistance points.) For example, if I was a member of the fire tribe and our KD for the night was better than that of all the other tribes, I would be able to upgrade my knife resistance from 4 to 5, et cetera. The hard limit for this is full sixes, though it's highly unlikely to reach that point for any one player. Additionally, each tribe has an Element Lord, whose identity is kept secret. The Element Lord gains two resistance points instead of one in each successful round, but if they are killed then each surviving member of their tribe loses one resistance point. (Despite the Element Lords being the commanders of their tribes within Bionicle canon, that would not really work too well as a mechanic here, so it is simply assumed that all kills selected by the players of the tribe are approved by the tribe's EL.) TL;DR - Five tribes all fighting each other, the faction(s) with the best KD each round will be able to upgrade their resistance stats, and each tribe has an Element Lord who has stronger resistances but damages his team when he dies. THE PAYROLL (for lack of a better name) These are your fellow assassins. Eliminated targets will be marked clearly to distinguish which players you will be able to attack. Final three survivors are bolded. 1. Colette Llyan 2. Pupwa21 eliminated by Caboose and Dapper 3. Snubby eliminated by Phoenix Zero 4. Baltarc 5. Axilus Prime eliminated by Snubby 6. Toa K eliminated by Burnmad 7. Aiwendil eliminated by Captain Caboose 8. Voxumo eliminated by Dapper-Sama 9. Trijhak 10. Toa Lhikevikk eliminated by Baltarc 11. Smooth Jazz eliminated by Trijhak 12. 15. Bionicle Hitman IX: Corpsetaker The plot In the past, The Shadowed One used the Hitman games as a method of thinning the oversaturated ranks of the Dark Hunters. Now, with membership at an all-time low, and many still craving for blood in the Hitman games, TSO had to come up with something fast. After some ridiculous magic experiment thing, The Shadowed One was able to create 16 Dark Hunters, all of which...still died. He was upset about this. And, in his frustration, he let two of the Dark Hunters fight to the death. Upon the defeat of the weaker one, The Shadowed One noticed something odd. The killer simply stood above the body, staring. After a few seconds, the corpse began to move again. TSO was flabbergasted. He had somehow made a bunch of Dark hunters that could possess dead bodies. And then this game started. There can only be one survivor, so if the last few assassins all kill each other I will reroll. The twist(s) If you didn’t gather from the title, the twist in this game revolves around corpses. Namely, people you have killed yourself. Upon a successful kill, you will be notified of your victim’s “assassination resistances”. What do you do with this, though? Simple. You have a choice every night to change your resistances to those of someone you have killed. Confused? Here’s an example. Once the victim is killed, the killer has the choice each night to retain their resistances, or use their victim’s resistances. The payroll These are your fellow assassins.
