  1. This is Samus Aran, a famous bounty hunter and the main protagonist of the Metroid game series. Made as a very belated b-day gift for a good friend. The model itself took me 3 hours, the render took another 3, and I am p sure all of Photoshop shenanigans took me 3 more, so it's 9 in total! Made with Lego Digital Designer. Rendered in POV-Ray. Post-processed in Adobe Photoshop.
  2. Toa Smoke Monster

    Two Days

Two days. That's how long the wait is until Metroid: Samus Returns is available to the public. I can't wait to start playing it.
  3. I was debating on watching this, as I don't want to learn too much about this game before it is released. But I couldn't help myself. It's great that we're finally getting another 2D Metroid game. It's also great to see the Gravity Suit back. (I still think it should've been in Other M.) The Aeon Powers look like an interesting addition to the game as well. I can't wait to see how they are used in the game. My one nitpick about this is that they're are some content locked behind Amiibos. Yes, they aren't needed to play the game, as the content the Amiibos unlock is just extras. But they are cool extras that I feel should be on the game itself. Or at the very least the concept artwork should've been put in there. I love looking at that after beating a Metroid game. That aside, I still need this game looks great and I can't wait to start playing it when it comes out next month. Will you be playing Metroid: Samus Returns when it comes out? Are you excited that we're finally getting another Metroid game? And what do you think about needing Amiibos to get some of the extra content in the game?
  4. So I beat Super Metroid for the second time ever today. Sadly, it was only at 94%. I looked everywhere for the remaining items that I was missing, but I couldn't find them. I know I could've looked up where they were, and I did that for some of the ones I needed help finding. But I actually had been playing it on and off over the last few weeks, and I couldn't exactly remember which items I had and had not gotten already. And with my playtime going over eight hours, I figured it was time to put Mother Brain down and get the game completed. I am a little saddened that I didn't get 100% in the game, but at least this gives me an excuse to replay the game in the future. And besides, I had a lot of fun playing the game. But I wanted to go ahead and move on to another game for now. And that game is The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask for the 3DS. I got the game a long time ago, and I managed to beat the first two dungeons. But then I stopped playing for some reason and never got back to it. I plan to start over on it and finally complete it. I don't know if it will be at 100%, but I would like to at least try to get that percentage on it if I can. I've only beaten two Zelda games in my time playing video games, and those were A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds. I plan to add Majora's Mask to that lineup, and hopefully I'll get enough free time to do so. What is the most recent video game that you have beaten? And was it at 100%?
  5. So I got Metroid Prime: Federation Force yesterday, and got some time to play it today. I only made it through the tutorial mode and a practice match of Blast Ball with an AI opponent. Overall, I really enjoyed what I've played so far. While the look of the game is different from that of the previous entries in the series, I still think it looks great. I look forward to seeing what the planets look like when I get to them on the campaign missions. The controls also work really well. The are simple enough. (Press A to fire your weapon, press B to jump, etc.) The only thing I had a little trouble with was toggling your aiming module while you're locked onto a target. Once you've locked on, you press R and move the 3DS around to move the module to fire on your target. It's kind of odd IMO, but it probably is for me because I'm not use to it yet. I'll see how it holds up once I start doing the missions. They give you some options for words your character can say to other players with the control pad. You can also choose a male or female voice and range how high or low the voice is, which I thought was really neat. As for the practice match of Blast Ball, I had a lot of fun with it. I have a ways to go before I'm good at it though. But still, I enjoyed it and I look forward to playing against other players when the time comes. There was one other thing about this game I want to mention, but I'm putting it in spoiler tags since it involves the game's story. Don't read if you don't want to be spoiled. So has anyone else gotten the game yet? If you have, what do you think of it?
  6. *Thirty years ago yesterday, video game players were introduced to a lone bounty hunter by the name of Samus Aran, who began her journey to rid the universe of Space Pirates and Metroids in the 1986 game titled 'Metroid.' Since then, there have been several titles that have been added to this growing series. Metroid 2: Return of Samus. Super Metroid. Metroid Fusion. Metroid Prime. Metroid: Zero Mission. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Metroid Prime Hunters. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Metroid: Other M. That's not even mentioning the Metroid Prime Pinball game, The Metroid Prime Trilogy game, Samus's appearances in the the Super Smash Bros. series, and Metroid Blast on the Nintendoland game. Despite all these games though, Metroid still isn't one of Nintendo's biggest lines. It definitely has its fanbase, but its clear that Metroid isn't as popular as Mario, Zelda, or Pokemon. That may arguably be why we are not getting a new Metroid game besides Metroid Prime: Federation Force to mark this occasion. But that doesn't mean we, the fans, can't celebrate the anniversary of this series together. Happy 30th anniversary Metroid. May your fans continue to destroy Space Pirates, Metroids, and whatever other possibles threats may arise in the future games. Questions to start conversations: 1. What Metroid game got you into the series? 2. What is your overall favorite Metroid game? 3. What is your favorite enemy and/or boss fight from the games? 4. What is your favorite area from the games? 5. Will you play Metroid Prime: Federation Force? *I meant to post this entry yesterday, but I couldn't get on BZP when I had free time to do so. Oh well.
  7. Come on, Nintendo. You really didn't reveal anything new regarding Metroid Prime: Federation Force or any info about the series itself at E3 this year? I know a lot of people have mixed opinions on Federation Force at the moment, but I still think you could've at least had a demo of the game at E3, or maybe just talked about it and/or revealed a couple new things about it. Because from what I've read and seen so far about the conference, neither was done for the game. I bet some minds could've been changed about Federation Force if it would've been shown there at E3. Guess now we'll never know.
  8. I've stated that I was going to be making a few lists for some of my favorite things in the Metroid Franchise a couple months back to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. I've already made a list of my Top Ten Favorite Metroid Beams to start this off back in February. But it has been awhile since I've made my next list. Now it's time to change that, and I'm going to do that by listing my five favorite Metroid Suits. As with my Favortie Metroid Beams list, this is strictly my opinion, and my opinion alone, on these suits. And here we go. 5: Gravity Suit Featured in: Metroid, Metroid: Zero Mission, Super Metroid, Metroid: Fusion, and Metroid Prime One of Samus's more common suits, the Gravity Suit is a suit upgrade that allows Samus to move freely through fluids as if they were made of air. And with the exception of Metroid Prime, it allows Samus to move through lava without taking damage as well. It also reduces the amount of damage Samus takes when she is hit by an enemy. Samus either finds his upgrade in an area or defeats a boss to obtain it. This suit turns a lot of Samus's suit purple, which is a color that I've come to like a lot over the last couple of years. It also flows really well with the red and yellow color scheme Samus already has when she normally gets this upgrade. Plus, in Metroid Prime alone, the suit turns the green parts of Samus's suit blue. And while I like green more, the blue looks good on her suit as well. Overall, its a neat color change to the Power Suit that gives Samus more shielding and explore more environments unhindered, which makes it really cool IMO. 4: Fusion Suit Featured in: Metroid Fusion, Metroid Prime (when both it and Metroid Fusion are connected with a Gamecube Game Boy Advance Cable after beating Prime once) The Fusion Suit is Samus's altered Power Suit after being infected by the X Parasite. It functioned very similar to her regular suit, with a couple exceptions. It was lighter than regular suit, allowing her to grip onto ledges without needing the Power Grip upgrade. She is left with this suit after doctors surgically remove most of her Power Suit in an attempt to save her life after being infected by the X Parasite This is arguably one of Samus's more unique suits that she's ever worn. Just from looking at you, you can tell that its a suit that has been drastically altered into what it is. It's a suit that standouts in the Metroid series, even when you reclaim the Varia and Gravity suits in the game. That is why I like it a lot. Plus, having the ability to use it in Metroid Prime, even though it just a re-skin in that game, is pretty cool too. Overall its a great looking suit that I wouldn't find seeing again in a future Metroid game. 3: Varia Suit Featured in: Every Metroid Game in existence The Varia Suit is probably the suit most people would recognize, as it is the suit Samus is seen in the most. She starts out with it in the Metroid Prime games, but she has to find it in the others. (With the exception of Other M, where she just reactivates it in that game.) The suit itself protects Samus's from extreme temperatures of both heat and cold, as well as reduces damage done to her by enemies. In Metroid 2: Return of Samus, the suit also increases her speed by 10%. As the Power Beam is to Samus's beam weapons, so is the Varia Suit to her suits. It is a well known suit that Samus will most likely continue to use in any future installments of the franchise. The suit itself looks great, as it blends a red, yellow, and orange color scheme together really well. Overall, its a great suit to start off a Metroid game, and one that I want to continue to see in the future. 2: Light Suit Featured in: Metroid Prime 2: Echoes The Light Suit is the final suit upgrade Samus receives in Echoes. It is a fusion of Chozo and Luminoth technology that protects Samus for the dangerous air of Dark Aether as well as allow her to travel through the Dark Water in that dimension without taking damage. It also allows her to travel on Light Shafts, which were beams of light that connected the four temples on Light Aether. She is given this suit by U-Mos after restoring the planetary energy to the three main temples of Aether. I really love the unique look of this suit. Like the regular Power Suit or Fusion Suit, it looks to have a lighter appearance (no pun intended) than her normal suit. Plus, having the ability to travel on beams of light is really cool. (Eat your heart out, Takanuva. ) But I think the best part about this suit is its ability to finally let you travel Dark Aether without taking damage. It felt amazing to finally be able to explore that dimension and only have the enemies damage you. 1: Dark Suit Featured in: Metroid Prime 2: Echoes The Dark Suit is Samus's first suit upgrade in Echoes. It is a suit created by the Luminoth that reduces the damage caused by Dark Aether's atmosphere by 80% It also protects Samus from dark vapor that is vented out by ingclaws. Samus obtains this suit after she defeats Amorbis in Dark Agon Wastes. While the Light Suit is better than the Dark Suit function wise, the Dark Suit learns the number one spot on my list because of just how cool it looks. This suit just looks amazing IMO. It gives the Power suit a color scheme similar to that of the Phazon Suit, but it doesn't just look like a recolor of the suit. (Hints why that suit isn't in my top five.) It also adds some cool little details to the suit, like small red dots found all over the suit or her shoulder spheres being more linear than on the Varia Suit. Plus the way that armor looks with its red, gray, and black color scheme is really cool too. Overall, this is just a cool looking suit IMO, and I can't help but place it at number one on my list. Honorable Mentions: Phazon Suit. PED Suit Hazard Suit Zero Suit So what is your favorite Metroid suit and why? Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed my list.
  9. As I stated in this previous blog entry, I wanted to make some ten lists for some of my favorite things from Metroid to celebrate its 30th anniversary. This is the first of a few lists that I plan to make. As the title says, this particular list is my Top Ten Favorite Beam Weapons from the Metroid Franchise. This is based solely on my opinion about these beams. I will list what games they appear in, what they do, and why I like them. And here we go. 10: Battlehammer Seen in: Metroid Prime Hunters. Metroid Prime Hunters wasn't one of the best Metroid games IMO, but I did think it did some things right by the Metroid Franchise. One of those things was having one of the best variety of beam weapons seen in a Metroid. I don't think any other Metroid game had such a diversity of beams as Hunters, and the Battlehammer is one of the better one to me. It is a beam used by the Space Pirate Weavel, which Samus acquires after finding it at the Vesper Defense Outpost. It fires green projectile shots and arc downward when fired and cause a small explosive blast upon impact with whatever it hits. While the beam doesn't have a charge attack, I think its still cool because shooting it at a foe is like firing explosive shots at them. You can even hold down the fire button on the DS to have the beam repeatedly blast your foes until you release it or until you run out of ammo. The look of its projectiles also makes it one of more unique looking weapons of any Metroid game, which makes me like even more. Plus, I like the idea of Samus stealing weapons from the Space Pirates to use against them. 9: Shock Coil Seen in: Metroid Prime Hunters. An experimental weapon created by the Galactic Federation that was stolen by the Bounty Hunter Sylux, the Shock Coil is a close range weapon Samus acquires at the Celestial Archives. Like the Battlehammer, this is another unique weapon in the Metroid franchise. But instead of firing a projectile at your foe, you have to get up close to it, to which the beam then zaps it with a thin beam of electricity. This weapon kind of reminds me of a Sith Lord using his/her lightning attack on a foe, which is why its one of my favorites. Any weapon that can give someone 'Sith Lightning' like powers is cool in my book. 8: Annihilator Beam Seen in: Metroid Prime 2; Echoes The Annihilator Beam is a beam weapon that combines dark energy and light energy into one blast. Samus acquires it after defeating Quadraxis in the Ing Hive. I really like this beam because it is really effective against most of the enemies you encounter in Echoes. Its single shots automatically home in on enemies without you having to lock onto them, which I think makes it really cool. But I think the best thing about is that you can shoot the Light Crystals in the game with it to turn them into Super Crystals, which causes Ing who aren't possessing any creatures to run straight into the light produced by the crystal, killing them instantly. It's one of the best weapons in Echoes, and the only reason its not higher on my list is because its charged shot isn't useful as a single shot IMO. (The charged shots don't home like the single shots, and they only really just stun an enemy if it doesn't kill it.) 7: Nova Beam Seen in: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption The Nova Beam is Samus's final beam weapon she finds in Corruption. It fires high frequency energy shots that can pass through surfaces made of Phazite. Samus finds this weapon on the Pirate Homeworld. I like this beam for a number of reasons. One, it keeps the abilities of the previous beams Samus acquired in the game. Two, it's shots are green, which is my favorite color. Third, and most importantly, it allows you to kill some of the harder enemies in the game a lot easier. Namely the Phazon Metroid and Metroid Hatchers. Using the Nova Beam with the X-Ray Visor allows you to zoom in on certain foe's weak spots and kill them with one uncharged shot, which is something not a lot of beams in the Metroid Franchise can do. Sadly, you get it towards the end of the game, which doesn't give you a lot of time with it. But I still think that it's a really cool beam that I would love to see in a future game. 6: Ice Beam Seen in: Metroid, Metroid 2: Return of Samus, Super Metroid, briefly in Metroid Fusion, Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid Prime, and Metroid: Other M The Ice Beam is one of Samus's more common beam weapons, seen in the majority of the Metroid games. The Ice Beam does what one thinks it would do; it freezes your enemy. What makes it such an important weapon in the Metroid franchise, however, is the fact that it is one of the most, if not the most, effective weapons to use on Metroids. Yes, other weapons like Missiles, Power Bombs, and Charged Dark Beam shots work on them too, but Ice Beam was the original weapon needed to take out the game's namesakes. Plus, its fun to encase your foe in ice before blasting them into pieces with a missile. 5: Phazon Beam Seen in: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, End of Metroid Prime Arguably one of the most powerful beams Samus has ever used in the Metroid franchise, this is a weapon where Samus fires shots of Phazon-infused energy at a foe. She briefly obtains it at the end of Metroid Prime by entering pools of Phazon to energize her suit with this substance. In Corruption, she enters Hypermode with the PED suit to acquire access to the beam. It should be noted that in Corruption, the beam is called the Hyper Beam. It is not to be confused with the Hyper Beam Samus uses against Mother Brain at the end of Super Metroid. Anyways, this is one of my favorite beams because of just how powerful it is. There are not a lot of enemies that can survive more than a few blasts of this beam. And its charged shot in Corruption looks amazing as well. Plus, you get it really early in Corruption, so you can use a lot in the game. If Phazon ever returns to the franchise, maybe Samus can wield this beam once more. 4: Imperialist Seen in: Metroid Prime Hunters Like I said before, Hunters has some of the most unique beams in the game. And the Imperialist is my favorite out of all of them. It is a weapon used by the Bounty Hunter Trace that can fire a long-range laser that can cause massive damage to a foe. Samus acquires it on Arcterra. The Imperialist is really the only sniping weapon Samus has ever used in the Metroid franchise. Yes, the Nova Beam kind of had a 'sniping' function, but you need the X-Ray Visor to use it and it only worked on certain enemies. The Imperialist comes with its own Targeting Reticule, which allows the user to zoom in on any foe to snipe them from a distance, usually killing them in one shot. I like it a lot because it's really is the only actual sniping weapon Samus has used in any Metroid title, and I would love to see it or a beam weapon like it used in a future game. 3: Power Beam Seen in: Every Metroid Game in Existence The Power Beam is Samus's default beam weapon. It just fires regular energy blasts at enemies. Samus starts every Metroid game with it. While not the strongest beam Samus has ever used, it is definitely the most common. It's a beam that can be useful throughout some of the Metroid games, particularly in Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Plus, it has great rapid fire, which passes on to the other beams Samus acquires or reactivates in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid: Zero Mission, and Metroid: Other M. I don't know what Samus would do without this beam. 2: Wave Beam Seen in: Metroid, Super Metroid, Metroid Prime, Metroid: Zero Mission, and Metroid: Other M There are two versions of this beam. The Wave Beam from Metroid Prime is an electric beam found in Phendrana Drifts that homes in on foes when Samus locks onto them. A charged shot paralyzes enemies that it hits. In the other games, the Wave Beam allows your shots to pass through walls and give increased damage to shots if the game has beam stacking. While both versions of the game are cool, my favorite version, and the version making it on this list, is the Metroid Prime Wave Beam. It is found in the Chapel of the Elders after defeating four Baby Sheegoths and one Adult Sheegoth. I really like this beam because of its ability to paralyze foes with its charged shot. It makes taking out Space Pirates and Shadow Pirates a lot easier, especially since the shots home when Samus is locked onto them. It also stays useful through the game, especially after you get the Thermal Visor. And it just looks cool because its purple! 1: Plasma Beam Seen in: Metroid 2: Return of Samus, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion, Metroid: Other M, Metroid: Zero Mission, Metroid Prime, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Like the Wave Beam, there are two versions of this beam. In Metroid Prime and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, it fires superheated plasma at your foes. In the other games, it allows your shots to pass through multiple enemies. Again, I like both versions. But I like the Prime version just a bit more. In Metroid Prime, The Plasma Beam is one of the strongest beams you obtain, second to only the Phazon Beam you get at the very end of the game. You acquire it in Plasma Processing in Magmoor Caverns. Many regular enemies can be killed with just one charged shot of this beam, including Metroids and Hunter Metroids. And if they survive, the blasts cause them burn damage. So you could just fire a couple shot at a foe and just wait for them to burn to death. The beam gets in better in Corruption. In this game, you acquire it by defeating Bounty Hunter Ghor on the Main Docking Bay in Skytown, Elysia. While the beam is not as strong as it is in Prime, the Plasma Beam in Corruption does have a faster rate of power thanks to it stacking with the Power Beam and an increased range. Also, you can use it to fix broken circuitry throughout the planets in the game. And it still burns enemies when you shoot them. The Beam looks great in both games. You can see the power it has with every shot you take. Plus, I like one shot killing foes with charged Plasma Beams blasts, especially in Prime. And having the ability to fix circuits in Corruption is a really cool upgrade to the beam that just make it all the more useful. Overall, this is a great beam in both Prime games, which is why it is my favorite Beam Weapon in the Metroid Franchise. Here are some honorable mentions for Beam Weapons that I think are cool, but not in my top ten list. Judicator Magmaul Dark Beam Light Beam Omega Cannon Hyper Beam What do you all think of my list? Do you agree with my choices? And what are some of your favorite beam weapons in Metroid? Thanks to everyone that reads this. Please let me know if there is anything you think I can do to improve any future lists I make.
  10. For those who weren't aware, this year is the 30th anniversary of Nintendo's Metroid franchise. It is hands down my favorite franchise from them. I love it even more than Pokemon. Samus Aran is also one of my favorite video game characters out there. I own all the Metroid games in one way or another, and I've played through all but two of them. (Those two being the original Metroid and Metroid 2: Return of Samus.) Out of the ones I've completed, I've 100% all of them except Super Metroid. (Please don't kill me, Metroid fans of BZP. ) Since this is a special year for my favorite franchise, I thought I would do something for it here. The thing is, I don't know what. Should I have a top ten list about Metroid, ranking my favorite games from it? Or maybe do a list of my favorite bosses, weapons, or something else from Metroid itself? Maybe post reviews of some of the games here, just to get my thoughts out about them? What do you think I should do and/or want to see? I will say that I can't draw to save my life, so don't expect any artwork. Also, I don't own any equipment to make videos for Youtube, so that's off the table too. But I'm open to any suggestions made. What do you guys want to see?
  11. So I'm a huge fan of Metroid, particularly the Metroid Prime trilogy. As such, and as a MOCist, I've been interested in building some cool MOCs from the Prime trilogy. Hopefully, I'll be able to make more Metroid creations in the future. But, for now, here's a triple header of sorts: Flaahgra, the fearsome boss of the Chozo Ruins, the Jelzap, a curious aquatic predator of Phendrana Drifts, and the legendary Samus Aran herself, in minifig form. Flaahgra Flickr "That which fouls the waters seeks the sun." "Morphology: Flaahgra This mutant plant is the source of toxic water in the Ruins. Flaahgra's growth cycle has been radically accelerated. As a result, it requires near-constant exposure to solar energy to remain active. This exposure has made Flaahgra's outer shell thick and durable. Concentrated weapon fire can daze it for short periods, but its lower root system is unprotected and vulnerable, however. Exploit this flaw when possible." "Chozo script translated. The cries of this dying land echo in our ears as we Chozo watch the Great Poison seep ever further into the living pulse of the planet. The dark energy sinks into the trees and waters, devouring all life. Peaceful beasts die by the thousands - some creatures survive, but their forms grow as twisted and evil as the force that fell from the sky. Many of these mutated monstrosities remain small enough to do little harm, but others grow enormous and threaten our very existence. One such beast defiles our sacred fountain, disgorging poison from its foul form, replacing pure, flowing water with cascades of creeping death." Reference image. Flaahgra is one of my favorite creatures from Metroid Prime, and one of the most creative video game bosses I've faced in general. As soon as I saw the Kaiju egg from Invasion from Below I knew I wanted to use it for the base of a Flaahgra MOC. So, here we are! As you can see in the reference image, Flaahgra is surrounded by a lake of toxic water, which I replicated with a bunch of olive cheese slopes. The Morph Ball tunnels which lead to Flaahgra's root system are also approximated by the spokes of that giant wheel. You can also see its tentacles protruding from the tunnels to guard it when active. (For best effect, listen to this while viewing Flaahgra.) Jelzap "Morphology: Jelzap Aquatic predator made of electrically bound skeletal halves. The Jelzap's brain is located in the upper half of its body, while the heart and digestive tract occupy the lower half. Linked only by electrical impulses, the two halves somehow function effectively enough to launch the Jelzap to the top of Tallon IV's aquatic food chain." Reference image. The region of Phendrana's Edge, with its pools of water at the bottoms of icy caves, was made all the more memorable for having fascinating wildlife like the distinctive Jelzap. Samus Aran "The Power Suit is an advanced Chozo exoskeleton modified for use by Samus Aran. Samus's Notes: The Power Suit provides life-support functions and is well shielded from attack. The modular nature of the Power Suit allows for the addition of weapons, Visors, and other gear as needed. The Power Suit's shielding loses energy with each hit; collect energy when possible to keep the shielding charged." In case you're wondering why Samus is lacking her iconic giant shoulders, that's because at the start of Metroid Prime Samus loses all of her equipment due to suit damage, and must reacquire it on the surface of Tallon IV. Thus, she begins with only the minimal Power Suit, which she has when facing off against Flaahgra (which can be seen in the Flickr gallery). She also has no minifig face currently because I lacked a suitable female head for her. Hopefully I can eventually get the proper piece. (In case Flaahgra's theme isn't your style, may I recommend Samus's theme?) Enjoy, folks! ~B~
  12. | | MOCPages | Brickshelf My entry to the BBC #66 contest. Mother Brain from the game Super Metroid.
  13. I leave for a day to play Metroid Fusion. A DAY. And I come back to find there's a sexism feud running through the blogs. PEOPLE CAN'T WE ALL JUST BE EXCELLENT TO EACH OTHER AND PARTY ON
  14. So, as you may know, the Metroid series celebrated is 25th anniversary this past August. I threw something together then, and I was looking for a bit of feedback. Enjoy. Click for fullsize
  15. (That's the name I'd give to a Super 8 Fan Short Story) Watched Super 8 tonight. I just wanted to say if anyone gets a chance, to completely check out that movie. It's a little cheesy in some areas, but characters are incredibly realistic, the story is interesting and overall message is just one of those overall one liner messages that I adore. :3 Metroid 2 (Return of Samus) was one of the first Metroid Games I had ever played. It's a classic, and unfortunately I lost my old Gameboy Version a few years back. IT IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD ON 3DS. Now it's worth getting a 3DS. And finally, thanks to Cholie, I'm loving Kasabian. This group has a nice sound that I feel like mixes the Beatles with modern rock. (Good modern rock) That's all I got, alright gonna go read and review stuffs.
  16. Eeko

    Finally Beat Fusion

Dang SA-X is hard, finally got a good rhythm going, just to die by the Omega. But nonetheless, I finally beat it. Gameplay wise, I think it's my favorite Metroid so far, although I just love the atmosphere of Metroid II
  17. Eeko

    Metroid Fusion

Such a good game! I tend to write off Gameboy type games as sub-par to console games, but I honestly like Fusion more than Super Metroid. And that's saying a lot.
