[Render] Toa Tuyet Mangai by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr “Did you ever think we could do more good if we stopped worrying so much about who might get hurt in the process?” — Tuyet to Lhikan, The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet A power-hungry traitor - that’s how they remembered her. Toa Tuyet, with her warped sense of Duty that overlapped and overshadowed any sense of morality, have stolen the Nui Stone from the Dark Hunters because she believed that with it she could achieve the ultimate power to defend the Matoran. There was never any malicious motives to her actions, but she was still insane because she forgone all possible restrictions. She paid the price for her insanity and was snagged away by the Order of Mata Nui. But she never abandoned her only desire: to protect the Matoran no matter the cost. The Mask of Intangibility design is based off Demitsorou’s concepts: 1 , 2 , 3 . * * * If you like what I do and you want to see me create your OC, a favorite Bionicle Character, or something else, feel free to look up my Commission Info! Figured I'd upload here too, try that out and all. Yeh. This is a piece of gift art for Click, who has been a great friend to me since we met last year. I asked if he wanted to see any characters drawn and he said to "surprise him", so I chose Nash. 'Cause she's pretty freaking cool. Alt pic. here, since it won't upload in a proper size
A couple of drawings I've done over the last few months. Nokama Metru: Based this mainly on the Miramax version with some of my own ideas on Toa anatomy thrown in. Hahli Inika. I decided to make the max more of a mix of Kaukau and Elda rather than just the straight up Elda mask. I think it turned out okay, so...yeah. Well, thanks for viewing!
Background: Before the Makuta revolted, Saski and her sisters worked as messengers, relaying important and otherwise confidential messages to key members of the brotherhood. What they didn't realize was that these messages were in fact information crucial to the poisoning of Mata Nui. Teridax was not the only one who conspired against the great spirit. And it passed right under their noses. Once this information was found out and the Makuta began their riot, the Destral Sisters attempted to flee as toa left and right were dropping dead from incoming shadow blasts. Unfortunately they could not escape Gorast, who had been blocking the only exit out of the facility. They were soon captured and put under surveillance by Krika, who deemed that the sisters were too important to eliminate, and without giving an explanation. During their imprisonment, the sisters were put through various forms of torture and interrogation to get important information on the Order, the secret organization that was formed to stop the Brotherhood from taking full control. But the sisters resisted, knowing full well if the information was passed to the Makuta, then all hope would be lost. Thankfully, after Saski had been through a grueling punishment, Koku had managed to steal the keys to their cell from Krika, who had grown infatuated with water toa since their previous attempt at escaping. They dove into the ocean and swam to the nearest dock in order to steal a boat they previously planned to use in their old escape route. Makuta gave chase, and they sped away. Now venturing into foreign lands to keep the information safe, how long can they last before they are caught? So here they are. I hope you like'em! Also, if anyone is somehow offended by Koku, I apologize. But that's her design and it will stay that way.
