  1. My take on the Agori of the Rock Tribe, Atakus.
  2. I was struck by inspiration yesterday and had to sit down and write this story. Special thanks to BZPower member Tolkien for the song written in Matoran language, which you can find on his tumblr blog. Please read, enjoy, and comment below! ~~~~~ The sky was bright, and the day was radiant. As Admoneira made her way through the crowded street, people of all colors, shapes and sizes hustled and bustled around her. Today was as busy a day as ever in Agens, but Admoneira had no time or interest for any of it. After all, it wasn’t every day that one received a summons from the oldest being on the planet. It had been twenty or thirty years since she had last heard the call: a high, thin ringing, at a frequency beyond most people’s ability to detect. She had taken several moments to notice the pitch, and longer to remember what it meant -- but when she had, she had dropped her satchel and nearly been struck by a hasty carriage. Stopping only to gather her things, not to apologize, she had immediately changed course and struck off to the eastern edge of town. From there, she did some bargaining with a carriage-owner, who was understandably reluctant to lend her a vehicle to traverse a road that hadn’t been touched in years. The sight of her dusty seal made a potent argument, though, and if that wasn’t enough, she also had the official papers, signed by the Parliament, marking her as a government-sanctioned chronicler. The owner, a patriotic sort, was more than happy to comply with her request, and soon she was driving off towards the eastern forest. Throughout it all, above the grumbling and snorting of the carriage and the trundling of its wheels on the ground, Admoneira could still hear the ringing, echoing through the air. The trip through the woods should have taken two hours, and it would have -- if the road hadn’t been blocked two-thirds of the way in. As she once again stepped out of the carriage to hack at an overgrown creeper, only to see the road blocked ahead by a tree growing through the middle, she gave a heavy sigh. Couldn’t he at least hire a gardener, or a hundred, to keep the road clean? Then she remembered his response to that query last time she had spoken to him. Your modern garden tools make such an unbearable clamor, he had said. The trees and the vines, on the other hand, are silent until struck down. If I am going to continue living on this earth, I would rather do it with my hearing intact. Wouldn’t you? At dusk, Admoneira stumbled over a twisted root, staggered past an enormous tree, and pushed aside a curtain of leaves to finally reveal her destination. Perched on a steep hill above her, surrounded for miles and miles in all directions by undisturbed forest, was a weathered dome: an ancient monastery, with a population of one. Emanating from above, the ringing was sharper than it had ever been, but Admoneira barely heard it. With a rejuvenated effort, she dragged herself up the hill, anxious to once again speak with him. The stone door had no handle. Instead, it was inscribed with an esoteric symbol: three circles, bordered by two dented curves. Admoneira smiled and recalled the secret combination. First the topmost circle... the bottom circle... and finally, the circle in the center. Smoothly and almost silently, the door slid away before her. Inside, the walls of the vast dome were filled with circular symbols; not an inch left untouched. Towering over Admoneira were tall stacks of stone tablets, each carved with the same symbols. A fine layer of dust covered everything in the chamber. Admoneira breathed in the dry, dusty air and let out an amazed sigh. In this room, the great history of her world felt tangible and real. The dust stirred. Just barely, she could make out a whisper: “There’s no need to make such a ruckus, my dear." The quiet voice came from the stairs spiraling around the walls. Admoneira looked up, beyond the stacked tablets, to see a hunched figure with a grey cloak slowly descending each stair, his joints clicking with each step. “I could hear your approach a mile away,” he continued. “Turaga!” Admoneira gasped. “Ach!” With gears whirring and joints clicking, the wizened old figure brought his hands to the sides of his head. “What did I say about making such noise?” Admoneira paused, then spoke in a low whisper. “I’m sorry, Turaga. I’m just... so excited to see you again.” “As am I, Admoneira,” whispered the Turaga. He stepped onto the floor, supporting himself with a wooden staff, and slowly hobbled towards a table where an empty tablet lay. “Come. Sit, and tell the old Turaga your tales.” The table stood in the center of the building, directly beneath a glass pane in the top of the dome. Admoneira took her seat and glanced up at the darkening sky, looking for words. So much had happened in the past several decades. Where to begin? “I suppose I’ll start with Agens,” she said. “Ah, yes. How is that lovely little town doing?” the Turaga asked, chuckling. “It’s hardly ‘little’ anymore, Turaga. Now that the water stone industry has recovered, people have been coming to Agens in droves. It’s one of the fastest-growing cities in any of the civilized nations,” she explained. “Good. I’m glad to hear it,” he said. “I always told little Carus that his town would do well.” He paused. “How is the little boy, anyway?” Admoneira hesitated. “Well... Carus is not really a little boy any longer, Turaga,” she said. “He was born before me, you know...” There was a glint of light off of the Turaga’s mask. Then he shook his head slowly. “I am sad to learn of his passing,” he said. “But he died knowing his destiny was achieved.” The Turaga always did that -- extrapolate the truth, even when one tried not to tell him. Admoneira hated when he did that. The Turaga chuckled. “Hate it or not, Admoneira, I will keep doing it. You must allow an old man some of his tricks.” He turned to the side, his head downcast. “Forgive me for asking so foolishly about Carus. In my old age, I sometimes forget that your lifespans are so much shorter than ours.” Admoneira had always marveled at the Turaga’s physiology. He was made of metal and flesh, seamlessly joined by wondrous engineering -- all of this, accomplished several millennia prior to the invention of the motorized carriage! Many a time, she had wondered how it was that he and the other biomechs lived for so long: whether it was the quality of their organic parts, or a self-repairing function like the immortality devices of old. She had been meaning to ask for years. “Then I might as well tell you what I know,” said the Turaga. “I was never an anatomist. But I know this much. Most of our ‘organic’ tissues are used as muscles or bindings, and they, like the rest of us, are artificial; made by the Great Beings. When the Great Beings made things, they made them to last.” For a long moment, he let this information sink in, then added, “Unlike your craftspeople nowadays, that is.” Admoneira had to laugh at that. “Tell me about it. I took a carriage part of the way here. I got it good as new, but by the time I was done with it, the tires were shot and the engine was halfway killed.” “No, they don’t make them like they used to,” the Turaga said softly. As Admoneira continued her tales, the stars began to shine through the glass from above. By midnight, she had nearly talked herself hoarse, and had run down to the stream for water several times. Throughout it all, the Turaga sat and listened. Half the time, he stared off into space and didn’t move from his position, but Admoneira knew he could hear her. In any case, he could just about read her mind. It was a pity she couldn’t read his. What did an ancient biomech ponder? “You’ve stopped talking,” said the Turaga after a time. “Is that it, then?” Admoneira gave a start. “Oh, no, not at all. I was just thinking, Turaga.” The Turaga blinked behind his mask. “You want to know how old I am.” Admoneira’s face blanched. The Turaga chuckled in response. “Don’t worry, dear, I won’t be offended. A biomech stays beautiful no matter his age.” He tapped his staff on the floor. “You said this was... what year, again?” Admoneira told him. The Turaga nodded and let out a slow whistle. “Well, well. It has been some time, hasn’t it? And yet, to me, it seems like the Fall was just a century past.” He hemmed and hawed for several seconds. “Ah! That’s it, that’s it. I have lived through 150,000 seasonal units -- Matoran time, that is,” he said. “In your years, that would be... hmm... about 12,000 years old, give or take.” The time span was too much for Admoneira to process. She blinked and put a hand to her forehead. “I might get a migraine if I think about that for too long,” she said. “Try thinking about it for 12,000 years,” replied the Turaga. “Did Matoran -- normally -- live that long?” Admoneira sensed the Turaga stiffen. “I wouldn’t know,” he said. “But since so few of us remain, I would say... no.” An awful realization struck Admoneira: He doesn’t know. There was silence at the table for a long, long moment. “Now he does,” said the Turaga. Admoneira clasped his hand. “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I didn’t know when to tell you -- ” “It’s all right,” he said, setting her hand aside. He sat back, gears clicking, and breathed in heavily. “Tell me, when did the others pass?” Admoneira could feel his heart breaking as she listed the names. “...announced his death twenty-four years ago. The Vortixx of Vulcanus passed quietly three years after.” She took a deep breath. “Barraki Pridak died on his throne ten years ago. Somehow, he lived through every assassination effort over the past four millennia. His empire has already fractured into warring states. And Kopeke -- ” She felt something choke in her throat. “Two years ago, Kopeke walked out of Iconox and into the Drifts. He gave clear orders that he was not to be followed.” She finished her story. She and the Turaga sat at the table, hands folded, in utter silence. The stars turned slightly overhead, and a chill began to creep at the edges of Admoneira’s flesh. After many minutes, Admoneira thought she heard a whispered word flit into her ear. She dismissed it as her imagination, but another came, and another. Suddenly, she realized that the words were coming from the Turaga, but they were not any words that she knew. “lahaya lhikayi, wahata rodui...” The pitch of the Turaga’s voice varied. Admoneira realized that he was singing. His incredibly soft voice hovered over the notes with a trembling sincerity. “lahaya lhikayi, wahata rodui, lahaya ro’ai, ki akuya-kaui. lehaya matoran, noka khino rho luhaya turaga zahni’o kyabo. lohaya toa ki kravahi zaya, ki aizi voyakorhu akuyata...” The Turaga trailed off. “You wouldn’t recognize the song,” he said, in response to her unspoken thoughts. “It is from... before your time.” Slowly, with jerking and hesitant motions, the Turaga began to stir. Gears clicking, he rose from his seat and took hold of his staff. “Come. Walk with me, Admoneira,” he said. “And bring the tablet. It is time.” The woman took his hand and helped him move, haltingly, across the dusty floor and out of the building. The two stood together on the hilltop, under the waning stars, looking out at the peaceful treetops. “In an hour, Solis Magna will rise from the horizon, in all its crimson glory,” said the Turaga. “Then will come the time. Until then, Admoneira... sit with me.” She had a thought, but he shook his head. “No. I do not need any more stories. I need only companionship.” Admoneira helped him into a sitting position on the grass. The Turaga set down his staff and replaced it with a stone stylus. “I am sure your paper records are quicker and more efficient,” he said, “but consider me old-fashioned -- I never could get used to the idea of them.” He carved the first words on the tablet. Admoneira knew enough of the Matoran language to translate them, and her heart sank as her worst fears were confirmed. “You can’t know this,” she sobbed. “Oh, but I do,” said the Turaga. Now it was his turn to clasp a friend’s hand in comfort. “It was revealed to me by another Turaga many, many years ago. This was his final vision. It is the final destiny of my kind.” “No,” Admoneira mouthed. She knew that the Turaga was impossibly old; she knew that he was the last of his kind; she knew that all things eventually came to an end -- but she refused to believe that it would happen today. “Be still,” the Turaga whispered. “I will be with you for another hour. I must carve this tablet, but when I am done, I will stay with you. We will watch the sunrise together.” Admoneira sat with the Turaga as he carved his words. She did not read them. She would read them later, when she was ready to accept the end. She vowed not to let this history be forgotten. “It already has been, my dear,” said the Turaga, etching a Matoran ‘A’ into the stone. “By all except the two on this hilltop. But that is not so dreadful, in the end. All things in this world are only temporary.” He finished his work, and set down the stylus. The stars had vanished, and the sky was lightening. Admoneira turned to the Turaga with tears in her eyes. “Please. Don’t go. You’re all that we have left.” “None of us choose our destiny, my dear. And none of us can defy it,” said the Turaga, staring into the pink light of the sky. Admoneira began to openly sob as the light grew brighter. No words could communicate her feelings. “They do not need to,” said the Turaga. “I know your heart.” Slowly, he raised his hands to his head. When he lowered them, they held the archaic features of his mask. “Take this,” he whispered. “It is our custom. I will go soon, to be with the Great Spirit. But the mask will remain.” Admoneira took the mask into her shaking hands. “I... I can’t...” she stammered. “You can,” said the Turaga. “Have faith.” Admoneira hugged the Turaga tight, setting her face against his weathered cloak. Slowly, gently, he set his metallic hand on her shoulder. Staring into the growing light, the Turaga bore an unreadable expression on his face. Quietly, he resumed his singing. The sun rose, and the radiant fingers of the dawn crept across the trees, reaching up to the domed monastery atop the hill. As the light grew and the air warmed, Admoneira held the Turaga close, and he held her as well. Admoneira opened her eyes. The sky was alight with the scarlet fire of the sun. The Turaga’s fingers rested on her shoulder, warmed by the touch of the sunlight. But his singing had stopped. Admoneira hugged the Turaga’s body close and cried as the sun rose over her. She would cry for many a day to come. When her tears had dried, she would read the Turaga’s tablet. For now, however, the words sat unread in the rising sun. I carve these words as I await my death, and with it the death of the Matoran race. As prophesied, I am the last one left. When the morning comes and I pass from this world, I will join the entirety of my kind as one with the Great Spirit. I have no regrets. I have lived a long and fulfilling life. I have seen and done so many things. I fought on Bara Magna and saw Makuta’s Fall firsthand. I defended the Prison Island from the Siege of the Dreamkeeper’s armies. I saw the Barraki Wars and the return of the Shadowed One. I have seen two worlds united, and I have seen them divided again so many times. More than that, though, I have seen the flourishing of the Agori. Despite their physiology, they are an enduring and ingenious people. They listened to the ideas of the Matoran, and they built on what we brought to them to make things far greater. I know now that they are a people truly deserving of the Great Spirit’s paradise. We have had our history. Let the Matoran race now take its leave from Spherus Magna. With unity, we have done our duty, and in doing so, we have achieved our final destiny. The Agori have learned all that we can teach them, and they will grow and flourish beyond anything we could ever imagine. The Great Spirit will be proud of us, indeed. These are the last words of the Matoran race. These are the words of Turaga Krakua.
  3. We know that Agori and Glatorian are ridiculously long-lived. Some of the most ancient beings in the Matoran Universe- Artakha, Tren Krom, Helryx, etc, would be about the equivalent of a twenty year old in Spherus Magnan terms, if that. Gresh is over 100 000 years old and is barely acknowledged as an adult. Gresh is the equivalent of a human in his early twenties. He was a child during the Core War. I'd estimate him to be maybe between 100 000 and 150 000 based on that, but it's a shot in the dark given that we don't know the actual length of their lifespans. So, it's difficult to nut out exactly how long they live, but I've got an interesting question. Do Sphereus Magnans' aging processes scale with humans at all? As in, if an Agori can live to, say, 500 000-600 000 years, does that mean that they reach adulthood at around 100 000 years? Do Agori parents spend 10 000 years potty training their kids? I can see why many would choose not to have children if this was the case. Population growth would be unbelievably slow, unless parents chose to have several kids in quick succession- and that's assuming the gestation period isn't also stretched out... It's a bit ridiculous, isn't it? Well, the alternative is just as ridiculous. Here we have a comparatively short childhood (could be anything between 20 and 10 000 years to be considered "short") followed by a looooong adulthood. Picture this- you see two young Agori that look to be roughly the same age hanging out together. You think you can see a family resemblance, so you ask if they're sisters. Nope, turns out one is the great-great-great-grandmother of the other. You could have potentially hundreds of generations of the same family alive at the same time. You could start dating someone old enough to be your great-great-great-great grandparent, and nobody would bat an eyelid. In prosperous times, population growth would be enormous as long as child mortality was low. You can just imagine what family reunions must be like. Weirdly enough, there's support for that second theory given that the regression of the Vorox happened over many generations. If you use the first hypothesis (and assume that Vorox grow and age at the same rate as other Glatorians), the time since the Core War would only allow for one, or at most, two generations to pass. So, childhoods must be comparatively short in order for them to reach breeding age several times over in that time. Though, Vorox may operate by slightly different rules than other Spherus Magnans... What do you think? Is there a reasonable solution to all this? Apart from "Ignore all of Greg's attempts to use numbers", I mean? (jk, Greg, we still love ya.) Thoughts?
  4. Agori form Glatorian Form Glatorian Form (no mouthplate) Misc Fullbody Misc action pose So basically this is the story of baby's first OC, back in the day, good ol 2009, when we were all enjoying fragile joints and the death of a theme, I made what could be called my first non-MOC bionicle fan-character... then proceeded to fall into the mighty fathoms of the fan-character nether-realm. Simply put, she's a young Skrall gal (guess who didn't read greg's side-media during the story's run) with a simple colorscheme of black, grey, and yellow because i took the Tuma set as a sign my rock-themed desert cyborg didn't have to be just black and red! (tho tbh maybe she would look better with red? i digress) ANYWAY, i named this earth-associated female character "Gaia" because i'm an unoriginal clod, and them proceeded to shoehorn her into a relationship with a main-cast canon glatorian that i'm not even going to give the dignity of talking about right here, (oh yeah, and she's related to the big skrall himself, because i had no authorial self-control.) anyway (again), see all that up there, that stuff you just read? yeah forget it, now. she's not like that, not anymore. I basically changed everything but her core personality (which is p dull to be honest, oops.) and plopped her into a new setting/timeframe. She's now a young agori living on post-reformed SM (where glatoriam matches continue, but more for just sport than anything.) and she is an apprentice to a Protosmith. later she makes herself robot-limbs and joins the arena, which really goes to show how my writing has (not) changed! but that's a story for another time, i have put TOO MANY WORDS here already oops. anyway, enjoy this OC, or don't. whichever.

review topic HERE. Mark I: The white sun beat down on the golden hills of sand, not a cloud in sight to challenge its relentless reign, swift winds tainted by its intense heat carried clouds of dust from one Artfully sculpted dune to the next, towering canyons of smooth, worn stone whistled into the arid skies with each searing gust... And I was lost, dangit. None of these towering canyons, these sculpted dunes, these arid skies, none of them looked remotely familiar to me. None of this was on my map. A map which, as the agori i got it from said, "contains a detailed depiction of all charted areas of Bara Magna" which means, if I'm off the map... I'm in big trouble. I suppose I should go back to the beginning, before all this happened, I suppose again that I should start by introducing myself. My name is Tiricus, I'm from the water tribe of Tajun, and this started out as a normal day. This morning, I left the house to start my new job. It's pretty important that every Agori with four working limbs has a job, since we as a people are in such short supply already. Mine? I'm in postal delivery, a very important job, I might add. The job of delivery is held especially high since without us, contact between villages would halt almost completely. So, yeah, lotsa pressure falls on us. I had to make this first trip count, like, really count. I couldn't mess up, a single screw-up and I'd be toast, as well as who-knows what happening. Bottom line? Nothing was gonna make this mail a failure. Not if I could help it. The city of Tajun was carved into the sides of many water-worn canyons, sprawling as far as the eye could see and encompassing an enormous metallic structure, which protruded high into the air and cast a long dark shadow. Every village had a landmark like this, nobody seems to know where they came from. Nobody has the nerve to ask. The post office was one of the smaller buildings. Well, small at the front. It made use of a large cavern to store the many many crates of mail, and the fleet of trucks used to haul it out. The Office itself was a quaint room, roughly square with a desk opposite the door and several chairs scattered around, behind the desk was a ragged curtain, and between the two was a stout agori with messy hair. The mechanical parts of him were blocky and green, while the organic parts were scratched and sweaty. To his left was an obviously fake plant. The Office was also known for being very very dry, by Tajun standards anyway, and as I walked through the door, I could practically feel all moisture leave my body. The guy at the desk must've seen this slight stumble, because he took notice of me fairly quickly, "Hey Veri," The agori behind the desk shouted, "I think this's one'f the new guys!" The one he called "Veri" stepped through the curtain, she was tall and she was thin. Her dark skin greatly contrasted the bright blue greeble that ran down her arms and legs. Her eyes had heavy bags under them, and her default face was clearly not a smile. She glanced at her co-worker and then to me, then she spoke in a voice that obviously didn't want to talk to anyone today, but was trying to cover it. "Hey, name's Verita, are you the new guy?" I found myself lacking responses, and bumbled out an arrangement of words that could be called a sentence, somewhere, anyway. "Tiricus. Is me." Verita and her co-worker made faces, "Is, what they call me, yeah. I'm.... I'm here, for a job?" I mumbled. They looked at each other, then at me, sorta in that way you look at people who just stumbled right out of crazytown, then they looked at each other and shrugged. "Alright," Verita gave absolutely none, as seemed her usual, "Let's get you set to go then." We left the shorter guy at the desk and pushed past the curtain, into the larger cavern where all the post and trucks were kept, it was dimly lit by various mechanical devices and skylights in the upper walls. Against the left wall sat cabinet after cabinet of what I could only assume were very important documents, against the right sat the aforementioned trucks, not a unified set of trucks, just whatever vehicle it seemed they could afford. Some of them looked unfit to drive. Verita was, at this time, giving me a debriefing on rules, guidelines, and instructions. I was half-listening, I admit, and I feel I wouldn't be in this mess if I had just listened a little bit closer. But hey, the past is the past. "-and over here, is your vehicle for the job, the Scavrax V5." I tuned in to here Verita point in the direction of a curious cart. The Scavrax was an... odd sort of buggy, the roll-cage roof hung over a very curved frame, a single large treaded wheel held it up in front, while four stocky spider legs lifted the back. I had no idea how it would drive, and was honestly scared to find out. While I was examining the strange craft, Verita chimed in again, "-And that's about it. You'll be taking crates E5 to F6, the locations are on this list-" She tore some papers from her clipboard, "Don't lose anything, and be back as soon as possible." "Yes Ma'am!" I said, before bumbling over to the pile of crates, "I-I-I won't disappoint!" "Oh," She turned to face me again, "One more thing. You have a map, right? You will definitely need one..." As I hefted one of the mail crates I hastily replied, "Oh-oh yeah, sure!" She gave a weak and forced smile before slipping back into the office, "See you when you get back. If you don't die. that is." When I had all the crates on the back of the Scavrax, I hoisted myself into the small cockpit seat, which rocked from the sudden weight. I waited for the cabin to settle before starting the ignition, which made the whole thing rock even more. Well then, I thought, trying to keep my cool, Guess I'd better find a map. The Scavrax started rolling forward, but then, to my surprise, it shoved off with its back legs, a sudden jolt of speed that felt wrong for the rickety craft. the wheel hummed as it rushed down the street, and I just thanked some higher force the streets weren't busy today. I pulled over in front of a building that looked promising, The legs (which had been propelling the vehicle in a fashion far too organic to not be mildly unsettling) Dug into the ground and the wheel gradually lost momentum before coming to a stop. The building was an odd sort, the door was squared, but the windows were rounded with metal crossbars. It lacked the elevated step all other buildings had and instead had its floor run flush with the street, I could assume it was possibly made from the same material inside too. A sign that hung above the door simply said "WARES" in bold, but faded lettering, and a bell next to the door said "RING FOR SERVICE, PLEASE". I rang the bell, as instructed by the sign, and immediately heard the sound of footsteps on the other side, someone came down the stairs and approached the door, and soon i was greeted by a small agori with white metal ringing his wrists and waist, as well as white smooth headgear. "Greetings," He said, in a light but sharp voice, "What brings you to Sardix's general store? We have only the finest wares!" This obviously being Sardix, I got to my point quickly, "Well," I said, trying to not pay too much mind to his obvious over-enthusiasm, "I'm just looking for a map, honestly." Sardix was gone before i could finish the last word, and was back with a roll of paper in no time at all, "I assume," he said, again enthusiastic as ever, "That you are looking for a map," "Yes," I replied, "A map of-" Sardix cut me off "A map of all of Bara-Magna, yes." He pushed the roll of paper towards me, "This map contains a detailed depiction of all charted areas of Bara Magna," "Detailed?" I sighed, "I have a feeling it's not gonna be cheap, then?" Sardix simply smiled, "Oh no, It's not expensive at all, in fact," He pushed the paper into my hand, "I accept payments on pay-what-you-can terms, so what you can pay is what you will pay. And besides, I get the feeling you need this particular map a LOT." He winked. "Oh, okay... thanks?" I slipped sardix the coin and began to back towards the door, "Good luck with the shop, I've gotta get going now." Sardix waved as i slipped back into the Scavrax, "Pleasure doing business, We do hope you return soon!" The Scavrax once again kicked into high gear and skidded down the road, whirring all the way. I pulled one of the crates up into the passenger seat and checked the location it was marked for, Roxtus, City of Skrall, I set the Scavrax to high speed and headed out in the direction of Roxtus, and kept going, and going, and going, and going.... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ And I'm not too sure what even happened, How I missed it is beyond me, but somehow I ended up way out here, in archetypical no-man's-land, without a man in sight. The Scavrax is still going strong, so I swear the thing is solar powered or something. It's a miracle, is what it is. I'm just worried about if I can keep up with its stamina honestly, I'm starting to waver in consciousness as I search the cliffs and dunes for anything at all that looks familiar. The sun is beginning to set too, which is just peachy, i don't need to worry about dying of heat stroke because my body will already have been picked clean by some monster with more legs than it has business having by the time the sun rises! I might as well just bail out now, let the dunes claim me while I still have some dignity, anyway. And the worst of it? While I'm out here, slowly fading in and out of my mind, the mail. It never. got. delivered. I had one job, ONE JOB, and look at how much I messed up completely, man.... Verita is probably blowing a fuse about this. Maybe... Maybe I'll just... rest a bit, yeah, rest, I'll close my eyes, and it'll all be fine...
  6. More stuff for my organic re-imagining of bonkles. Because the tribes of Bara Magna don't have gender limitations, you can have ladies in any element. Each tribe has differing styles of dress based on climate and social class. Fire Tribe - The fashions of Vulcanus are based on Roman attire. Fire Agori usually wear draping garments in shades of red and orange. The upper class usually adorn themselves with gold trinkets and jewelry. The people of the Fire Tribe range from fair to light brown in skin tone and usually have light brown or red hair. Jungle Tribe - The clothes of Tesara are based on the traditional garments of Central American and Central African tribes. Jungle Agori wear light fabrics in all shades of green decorated with bold patterns. Some women may go topless as the tribe doesn't really have a nudity taboo. Both men and women wear large chunky rings, bracelets and earrings. The people of the Jungle Tribe have red-brown skin and black hair. Ice Tribe - The fashions of Iconox are based on Northern European attire. Ice Agori wear thick and insulated fabrics and animal skins in shades of blue and white, and their clothes are usually lined with fur. When outside they always wear a coat or cloak. The people of the Ice Tribe are fair skinned with blond hair. Water Tribe - The clothes of Tajun are based on Greek attire (with a bit of Egyptian mixed in). Water Agori wear togas and dresses in all shades of blue that are usually made from water-resistant fabric. More wealthy Agori like to adorn themselves with silver jewelry or pearls. The people of the Water Tribe are medium brown or olive-skinned and have dark brown hair. Skrall - All Skrall clothing is deep black, an odd choice in the desert. Their garments are patterned with a caste color. In the case of female Skrall, this is blue. As the species lacks hair, many female Skrall who live in an Agori village wear headdresses or wigs to keep up with beauty standards.
  7. Hello! Some of my ideas here are already being shared in this topic, but has not been updated because I am currently heavily revising it. Thank you for your time, and i hope you like what you see. Tserkoura v Annona I have been working on a Bionicle mod for Europa Universalis IV that takes place around 200 years after the Battle of Bara Magna, and this is to serve as one of many loading screens. It is supposed to be a wall painting of the Golden-Skinned Skakdi Fusion (whom I have named here 'Tserkoura', or 'Surkoura' in Matoran) opposite of the dream eating monster Annona in a museum of history in New Atero, probably near the new Kini Nui. The Agori would call it the 'Temple of the Guardian', named as such as Mata Nui symbolically watches over the city; they do not worship their, as the Matoran do, they instead see it as a museum for Mata Nui and worship at the Chapel of Grunchar, their supreme diety-creator. It says, in both Agori/Greek and Matoran/Maori: DUEL OF DREAM GODS/LORDS SURKOURA/TSERKOURA ANNONA I am currently making another piece of art similar to this, depicting the Battle of Bara Magna (I so far like this one more. ). I am almost done with it, but due to my infrequent internet connection for my laptop, I might not be able to upload it right away. Agori Alphabet I always wanted the Agori to have their own alphabet, but it seemed that Lego did not bother to do it before announcing their rescheduled cancellation for Bionicle. Now, since then, I have waited for others to make a written language, but it never happened, so I took it upon myself to do just that. A lot of the letters may look like another because they share a similar sound when spoken, and I took out the letters X and Q because those same sounds could be created with a combination of the given letters, and added the CH, ZH, and TH sounds because they are more unique. I expected the Agori and their heightful bretheren to have spoken Byzantine Greek, meaning Greek with a lot of Latin influence. Half of the characters are taken from this picture here: Mata Nui in Space You can also go to my DeviantArt page to comment there if you like. Replies, comments and criticism would be much appreciated. Thank you for looking at my stuff.
  8. Greg's just confirmed that Velika has agents loyal to him on Bara Magna, who have been reporting the goings-on to him over the past 100,000 years. Most intriguingly, he's confirmed -- wait for it -- One or more of these agents are characters we met in 2009 story. I'd have made a poll if I were able, but as I'm frugal with my money, I'm no Premier Member. I invite S&T to review all Bara Magna characters and consider who might have been an informant all along. Savvy? I'm keeping track of who's suspected by whom on this handy-dandy "Suspicion Chart". The rankings are based on the number of posters vouching for or against that character being an informant. I've only recorded votes that used in-story evidence; people who say "not So-and-So, I don't want them to be the informant" will not be counted. Currently, Vastus and Atakus are topping the charts, followed by Metus. The two least suspected people on the planet are Gresh and Tarduk. (First page... excellent. Let the theorizing truly begin.)
  9. Okay people, I know that there's a topic that discusses the long lifetime of MU inhabitants (which is over 100,000 years) but what about those organics of Spherus Magna? You would think that a mostly organic species would have shorter lifespans than biomechanical ones, but actually most of the Agori/Glatorian we've seen are much, much older than the MU itself. Here's an interesting quote from the Farshtey Feed, in which the ages of some characters are given in earth equivalents: Now, somewhere out there is a quote saying that Raanu was very young at the time Lein died, which was roughly 265,000 years ago. That means 265,000 Agori years is roughly equivalent to about 60-63 in human years! Thats about 4,200 agori years for every human year? The problem we have is: how do Agori years compare with human years? Is it an direct ratio? (as in, does X Agori years = Y human years) Or do Agori reach maturity at the same rate as humans, with their aging slowing down as they get older? Another question that needs to be asked is this: How do biological beings live for hundreds of thousands of years? I could understand lifespans in the high hundreds, maybe as high as a thousand, but hundreds of thousands??? That's pushing it for me. Is it some sort of super medicine? Or do their mechanical implants prolong their lifespans artificially?
  10. I've never been big on the Glatorian era but the stories of the iron tribe once existing caught my interest. I know that the Great Beings modeled the Matoran universe after the world that once existed, so I was wondering about whether or not there could be Psionics, Gravity, Magnetism, Plasma, Lightning, Sonics, (Possibly Earth and Air?) and maybe even light? Or did the Great Beings simply get bored and feel like throwing in a few extra elements for the heck of it? (Or they could have done this because they simply needed them in the robot to do certain jobs to keep it functioning?) I don't know if there has ever been a mention of these ever existing or a comment made by Greg, so do any of you think they could've existed at some point? Do you think they could've been wiped out the same way as the Iron agori were? We don't have a large knowledge of the history of Spherus Magna before the shattering anyway. And if these tribes still existed (if they existed at all), then they would've gotten Element Lords right? What do you guys think each one would've looked like?
  11. So, recently I've been thinking about the Kestora and what they do, and I became curious regarding their origin and nature. Frankly, we know little about them, and here are the facts we know so far, according to BS01: Sapient species created by the GBsPurple and black armor (irrelevant info really)Wear Kanohi masks but cannot access the powerNo powers2 populationsCity of Silver DimensionRed StarBoth populations seem to have little regard for other lifeformsCoSD Kestora invade a city and laugh at Takanuva's faceRS Kestora are "morbidly curious" and have no problems dissecting MU beings Now, that I laid out some of the facts regarding Kestora, I would like to to present you my 3 hypothesis, which might have little evidence, but do seem to follow a pattern. Hypothesis #1: The Kestora were based on the Bone Hunters. Now, I know this sounds weird, but this is what I have in mind: the GBs seemed to base most of the species they created in the MU on an already existing species on Spherus Magna. Matoran and Toa are examples of species that the GBs created to inhabit Mata Nui. Also, while they didn't directly create the Bohrok, they surely impacted their inception and based their form on a former creation, the Baterra. Based on this, I think that the Great Beings wanted to create hardy, resilient, diminutive creatures that would be more aggressive, morbid, and able to perform the "dirtiest" job in the Universe. Since the Bone Hunters have a culture of piracy and "survival of the fittest" ideology, the GBs decided to base their morticians/undertakers (for a lack of better word) on this violent race on Spherus Magna. Hypothesis #1.5: The Kestora were based on the Skrall This one is a bit more far-fetched. Most of the reasons I gave for Kestora being based on the Bone Hunters applies to the Skrall: both species are violent, militaristic, xenophobic, etc. However, the Skrall come in as candidates as their culture is much more... "swarmish" as the workers pretty much do whatever for the greater "good". Hypothesis #2: The Kestora are Matoran prototypes. This one is my personal favorite. So lets begin. First of all, the Kestora wear masks and seem to look similar to Matoran, however they are powerless much like the Agori which they were based off of. The idea that they came before the Matoran and are their forefathers also comes from the fact that the GBs creations tend to be quite violent. Helryx, Orde, Karzahni, Zyglak (even if they were and accident), Fire Emblem, Tren Krom were all very... Cold, and seemed to have hot tempers. The Kestora are this way as well. They don't care for other life forms, and are purely focused on their tasks. My idea is that the GBs saw this, they noticed how violent and brutal this things were when they first activated them, so they decided to shove some of the population in a pocket dimension, and used the rest for a morbid task that would fit their nature. Another reason they might have abandoned them in favor for the Matoran might be due to their absentmindedness. References: BS01 (Kestora, Great Beings, Toa, Matoran, Agori, Glatorian, Skrall, Baterra, Red Star) Please read the evidence I provided for the hypothesis you wish to respond to, but if tl;dr is your case, here's the summary: #1: Kestora are based on Bone Hunters cuz they're both violent little creatures. #1.5: Kestora are based on Skrall due to the shared swarm-like mentality. #2: Kestora are Matoran prototypes and were originally based on Agori, but were replaced by Matoran as they were too morbid/violent/aggressive. 12. Hello BZP ! Few years ago, I've created an Agori, Nahok, with fan-fiction, stop motions and else. And this week, a friend fan of BIONICLE come to my house, and we start moccing. Then, he looks at me and ask me about this Agori. So we rebuilt it, and think about custom legs and arms. But, we don't want to create something too difficult, so we basically cut pieces, and use lift-arms to articulate. Here are some pictures. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Piruk-MRFFB/MOCs/Agori/Nahok/p7100395.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Piruk-MRFFB/MOCs/Agori/Nahok/p7100373.jpg BS Gallery Few gifs to show the articulations. Edit: Please use spoiler tags for storyline spoilers only, and please keep embedded images under 500 kB. -Wind-
  13. The following theory is developed off two basic assumptions: 1. No character participated in the Core War unless it was explicitly stated in some canon source. If a source says "the rock tribe" or "jungle Glatorian," that does not include Tuma or Gresh, only the rock tribe and jungle Glatorian of that time. 2. Any identical names that existed in the Core War era can be claimed to be ancestors of the current characters bearing those names unless the current characters bearing those names explicitly state "I remember this." ---- At some point during the development of Mata Nui, the Great Beings developed a substance/method/device, hereafter referred to as Immortalis. This substance/method/device would induce genetic immortality into an individual, though it would not protect against disease or slaughter, but only old age. After the shattering, they offered to use Immortalis on the Glatorian and Agori of Bara Magna ((being unable to use it on Bota Magna for whatever reason)). The majority of the tribes accepted the offer, with two exceptions: the sand tribe, who did not want further experiments to be run on them, and the rock tribe, who claimed they would endure the desert. While the other tribes stopped reproducing after a few generations, due to lack of resources to support a growing immortal population, the rock tribe and the sand tribe continued to breed as per natural. However, upon witnessing the sand tribe descend into feral instincts, the rock tribe glatorian and agori agreed to maintain a caste system to keep themselves from falling to such madness. The splitting of family lines, as well as limiting breeding to "successful" individuals, gradually transformed the rock tribe Glatorian into the Skrall and, further, into the three genetically divergent branches of the skrall. The agori were limited to service works, although some would later split off in protest of their treatment and develop into the bone hunters. Female skrall were, initially, part of this caste system as well. However, over the generations they would be relegated to serving only as breeders, something that they disagreed with extremely. At some point a few of them would be approached by Anonna disguised as Angonce, who would induce psychic powers on a genetic level; the psychich skrall would attempt to use their ability to wrest control of the rock tribe from the males, only to cause reactionary witch hunts that ironically enough led to the deaths of all nonpsychic females. From that point onward, the female skrall kept to themselves, only returning when their numbers were low or to drop off a male skrall and always operating under a cloak of projected control. Thoughts?
  14. On Spherus/Bara Magna, the Bionicle theme of being biomechanical was continued. But unlike the inhabitants of the Matoran Universe, Spherus Magnans do not have mechanical components from their inception. Sahmad said something interesting on implants. It was in Sahmad's Tale, when he has just awoken (in an illusion) to a Utopian society of Spherus Magnans and MU inhabitants, and is very skeptical that this could ever happen: "You've been asleep for 750 years, Sahmad." There was a moment then, just a moment, mind you, when I felt rattled. I mean, it could have been true. The monster might have chewed us up and spat us out. Someone might have found Metus and I and kept us alive. All Agori and Glatorian might be living as brothers and sisters in a beautiful new city, ready to welcome even survivors of the Iron Tribe into their arms. And Thornax fruit might taste like boiled Skopio meat, and the Great Beings might be handing out gift baskets of implants, but I wasn't ready to believe that either. The quote suggests that implants are highly desired and expensive. 1. If they are a commodity and expensive, I guess anyone born post-Shattering is unlikely to have received the augmentations. Given their long lifespans, I don't think there were too many Agori or Glatorian born, but I'm sure there must have been some. So. would we agree that there are probably some "all natural" Agori and Glatorian around? I think it would be cool to explore the social consequences these differences would make. I can see some friction between the "natural" and the "augmented" (I suddenly thought of the game Deus Ex: Human Revolution). Before the Shattering, I guess there must have been those who objected/declined implants on personal moral grounds etc. However, in the harsh environment of Bara Magna, I think people would have had higher priorities, like surviving. So I guess any "natural" Glatorian may have been seen as inferior and so had a harder time getting employed. I think it's interesting that it seems that most Agori and Glatorian do have implants. If all, or virtually all of these implants were received pre-Shattering, than it seems that society had widely accepted the change. It's interesting really; whilst technology is having a greater and greater effect on our real-world lives I doubt many of us would willingly lose perfectly good body parts because we think a mechanical version is better. Well, actually it's quite an interesting debate, because I'm sure some people would. Given the presence of things like hydraulic pistons in the Spherus Magnan sets, I think that there's a strong implication that some of these implants were drastically noticeable and significant. In a world were such things are available things could escalate into an arms race of sorts, where people are pressured to get implants because they'll get "left behind" if they don't. Gosh! this really reminds me of Deus Ex: Human Revolution XD (and the original Cybermen from Doctor Who) 2. If Mata Nui's body was similar to that of a Toa, wouldn't the Glatorian and Agori initially have taken him for a Glatorian with lots of implants, who strangely seemed to like wearing armour literally all the time? XD 3. It seems, due to the Legend Reborn, that Glatorian [with implants] are about as physically capable to Toa, since Mata Nui seemed matched or certainly comparable to the Glatorian there (assuming his body was similar to a Toa's). D'we think so guys? 4. Oh, and does anyone have any idea why basically all animals on Spherus Magna that we've seen seem to have implants too? I know animals like the Iron Wolves were modified for combat etc. But why animals like Scarabaxes and Skopios? And surely this is a bit of a one-off, since I don't see how the benefits of these implants could apply after one generation, since offspring won't have them? Did the GBs really meddle with all of them. Not joking, but the sheer logistics...>< (I guess if they can make things like Masks of Rahi Control maybe it's not that difficult though) Yeah, not trying to achieve anything specific here, but I just thought this was a really interesting aspect of the Bionicle lore and hence worth discussing.
  15. Over time, languages usually change. For example, in English, "thou" changed to "you", "nought" and "sought" fell out of use, and "shall" is mostly used in formal contexts these days, largely replaced by "will". After 100,000 years of language isolation, shouldn't Bara and Bota Magna inhabitants have some marked language differences? Perhaps not enough to inhibit communication entirely, but enough that the characters would notice it? Why didn't Gelu notice this in his conversation with Kabrua?
  16. Does anyone know how matoran reproduce, or if they even do it at all? It has never been officially anounced if they do...
  17. Hey, everyone. So, I'm gonna go straight to the point and ask: How many actual languages do we know exist within the BIONICLE world? We know of the Matoran language, that almost everyone in the former MU used to speak; there's the Agori/Glatorian language of Spherus Magna. But is there anything else that we know of, for sure? Another thing is, I believe bonesiii once mentioned that, contrary to popular belief, the "actual" Matoran language wasn't equivalent to English, and neither was Agori. So, that makes me wonder about numerous other things, the most prominent of which is the Matoran alphabet that has been used since 2001. What part of it is actually "culturally correct" from a Matoran's standpoint? Could we assume that their alphabet is indeed what we have seen for years (i.e. essentially the English alphabet with a more dismal graphical interpretation), and it is just their grammar and syntax that are completely different? Or is their alphabet completely different as well?

    Shadow Destiny

Shadow Destiny PrologueShadow. It's what we all fear. It seems to consume things. Everywhere deep down inside us all, It seems to lurk, only coming out in your worst moments. Of course, I view it differently. Shadow to me is power. Even as a Le-Matoran after the fall of Makuta I realized that shadow is a part of life. Of course, at that time I was living in an encampment outside of the fallen robot that housed the Matoran Universe, but that didn't mean I was stupid. But where did things happen? How did I become this legendary being I am today? Well it all began with a simple Ga-Matoran by the name of Jetus... Chapter 1It all started one day when Jetus decided that she and I make a name for ourselves "Think about it Krill!" she said "The others could make statues in our name! We could be the heroes we deserve to be! I'm tired of sitting here, existing for no reason. I'm sick of it! SICK OF IT!" "Your head is full-filled with all this sand..." I muttered back. But the idea never went away. After all, Jetus was one of my best friends, and she helped me whenever she could. Some would go as far as to say we had a romantic relationship together, but I would quickly deny it. She was brilliant, headstrong, and had a sense of humor. Of course, being a nature loving Ga-Matoran, she would also teach me about rahi. Of course I had little to offer her in return. But one night, we got the chance to make her dream, our dream, come true. The menacing Dark Hunters had re-organized on Sepherus Magna, and had attacked the camp we were staying in. "This is it!" I said to her "This could be our break! We could be hero-saviors!" She dismissed me "We can't take them on. It was misguided of me to think that we can be heroes... I'm sorry Krill" I stormed off, determined to take them down myself. I traveled for days trying to find the strong hold, when finally a pair of hunters led me to it. It was a simple structure, but also very complex. I snuck in undetected by the guards because of my small stature, and made my way to their leader, the Shadowed One. My plan was to assassinate him and proclaim myself a hero to all. Of course, things never go according to plan. I snuck up behind the ancient being's throne, and almost stabbed him. One of the hunter's in the room noticed, and with lightning speed, pinned me to the wall. "Hey, master, we've got a live one!" he smiled as he threw me on the floor in front of the leader of the Dark Hunters. "And just who are you?" he laughed. Of course, coming out of him it sounded like two stones grinding together. “I am Krill, salesman of Le-Metru, ever-hero of Spherus Magnus, and soon to be the killer of the famed Shadowed One,” I said valiantly. Everyone in the room laughed. No one took me seriously. Once they got done making fun of me, the Shadowed One said, “So, you wish to kill me? Ah, Matoran are so misguided these days.” He motioned to a Skrall looking warrior brandishing a strange weapon. “Meet Salus, he’s going to test out his new weapon on you.” Salus smiled. He loved to hear the screams of his enemies, especially Matoran. He aimed the staff at me, and fired. I knew I was a dead matoan. When the beam hit, I felt excruciating pain, but then also power. My whole way of thinking changed in an instant. Why kill them when I can side with them I thought to my self I could become the most famous Dark Hunter ever! Maybe even take over the organization! I grew taller, and the knife and small thornax launcher in my had were transforming. When it was all said and done, I looked down at myself, and a new being stood there. I had jet black armor, a broadsword, and a mysterious looking launcher. I peered around the room. Everyone was in shock. I knew I had to make a statement if I wanted to join the clan. I walked over to the man who shot me, took the staff, and snapped it in half. I then let my rage an anger take over, grabbing him by the throat and stabbing him in the chest with my sword. He fell, to the ground, dead. “On second though, I may just join you.” I said. The Shadowed One replied, “There is a vacancy.” Chapter 2I was able to get a good look at myself before I had to do mock combat with other hunters. From my hands sprouted claws which I could flip open to use, and flip back to store. I also had a midnight-steel blue broadsword, well I guess you could say it was a scimitar, but to me it was a broad sword. In my other hand I held a strange launcher, of which I had no idea what it did. I readied myself as the doors to the chamber they put me in opened. I was in an arena filled with sand. A balcony stood on the far side, with the Shadowed One eyeing me intently. He whispered to a hunter next to him, and at his word the hunter took off. I stood there, looking around at the bleachers that surrounded me. They were mostly empty, except for a couple of board looking Dark Hunters. Well this is exciting... I thought to myself in disappointment. As if on cue, a door opened and a being lumbered out. He was huge, with massive claws and a sturdy body. It seemed you could beat his body for millennia and not make a scratch on it. Let's hope I'm wrong. I said as I charged at him. I did a perfect flip and used my sword to slash his backside. Nothing. The figure turned. "Not nice" he said, before flinging me across the arena. Ok new plan. I looked down at my launcher. Here goes nothing! I pulled the trigger and with a loud pop!, a mass of darkness flew out and hit the being in the shoulder. At first it did nothing, but as I started cursing, the being hollered out in pain. His shoulder was leaving him. Wait, leaving him? I couldn't believe my eyes. His shoulder was slowly dissolving into nothingness, being torn apart. That's when I remembered something that the Ko-Matoran Kopeke had told me about on Metru Nui. "I believe that the entire universe is being slowly ripped apart by a substance that I would like to call dark matter. This dark matter drives the atoms inside of the universe apart, thus expanding it," he told me. I thought him a fool but the device that I now held in my hand harnessed such energy. I smiled as the lumbering being passed out, and was dragged away, most of his amour on his right arm dissolved. That's when I felt it. Pain. I fell to the ground and pulled a dagger out of my back. My eyes widened with shock. "You've proven you can defeat someone with strength, but what about agility. Get up rahi-bones, time for a lesson." said a female voice from behind me. Lariska I said to myself. I had heard legends about Lariska, master of daggers. About how she almost got Toa Nidhiki to give Metru Nui to the Hunters. Another knife whizzed past. I used shadow energy to blind her, then hit her with a shadow blast from behind. She fell to the ground, only to get back up and throw 2 more daggers. I dodged the first, but the second hit me right in the mask. I would use this to my advantage. I fell to the ground, and acted unconscious. Lariska laughed and began to walk away. That was when I sprang up and put my sword around her throat. "I remember hearing something about you giving another hunter advice... What was it? Ah, yes. Never turn your back on your enemy until you know they are dead, and don't turn your back on a dark hunter until their amour is ground into dust." The shadowed one clapped slowly. "You have proven yourself, young one. A spot in our order awaits you." Two guards came and took me away, and I realized how great would I have it in this order... Chapter 3The guards led me to a chamber, with a small table in it. A small matoran stood at the table, tinkering with something. "Ah, you have arrived! Come come, sit sit. There is much to do you know." I sat on the table. "Who are you?" I asked. "The new recruits always have questions. Always." he mumbled to himself, "I am Tako, Onu-Matoran and all around tinkerer for the Dark Hunters. Now, let’s talk implants. I have everything you want! Of course we need to put this tracking device in first,” He said, stabbing me with a needle. “There we go! Now let me see, you want Cybernetics? swords? Horns? ‘Cmon, give me something to work with.” The matoran was talking so fast I could barley keep up. “Um.... uh,” “Um, uh, what? Tell me something I want facts not just you sitting there!” I’ve always wanted to fly.... “A jetpack.” I said after a while “Oh and some amour to cover my shoulders.” The matoran looked delighted “A jetpack! ah I’ve always wanted to test this out!” he said, running over to his drawers full of items. “let’s see here....no..... what is that? Eh, I’ll think of something to use it for.....Jethro..... jet thrower.....Ah! here it is! Jetpack!” He pulled out a tiny black machine, about the size of my hand. “Let me just attach this to your mask and that will be all.” “My mask?” I said, confused. “Ah yes, I designed so that when you move your head, you can move the jetpack! Ingenious right!” I thought quite the contrary. “Yeah..... Ingenious.” He beckoned for me to lean over, and ever so carefully put on the jetpack to the back of my mask. “I must say, marvelous mask! Let me see what it is..” My mask. I hadn’t studied it. It wasn’t really a full mask, it was more like the Kanohi Vahi, and only covered the lower part of my face with a spine leading the my back (which was were the jetpack was placed). “Ah here it is!” exclaimed Tako. “Kanohi Kahdren.... The mask of enslavement. Fascinating!” The matoran could barely contain his excitement. “can you take it off for just a moment so I can...” “No,” I said sternly. “I can’t do that” “fine...” the matoran said disappointed. I was then escorted to my dormitory, where I would stay as a Dark Hunter. As I walked in, a figure resembling a skrall was lifting weights. He had the normal skrall build, except with a different helmet, one that only let his eyes show through and conformed to his head, which was laced with red, and sleeker amour. “Who are you?” he said, noticing me and standing up. “I am... Uh...” I was divided on weather to tell him my real name. “Nah, I’m just teasing ya! Of course I know you! You’re the one that everyone is talking about, who defeated Lariska and Prototype! Bearer of Darkness! Of course, we all call you bearer.” Bearer I thought I could get used to that. “You know my name,” I replied “what is yours?” “Stealerack,” he said. “Of course call me by my codename, Thief.” “Well, Thief, I guess we will be roommates.” “I guess so.” After that conversation, we stood in awkward silence, only penetrated by the occasional question and people rushing by. Around mid-day an agent came in and beckoned us to follow him. Along the way I asked thief, "Do you know why he just took us?""Ah, yes, we are going on a mission!" Chapter 4We walked down the hallway to the outskirts of the fortress. There awaited a vehicle for each of us. The being guiding us gave us both tablets detailing our mission. They were clear and concise. I was to walk into a bar in New Valcanus, a city ruled by the fire tribe, and inquire to a water agori named Utuk about the location of the blueprints for a new weapon. Once we knew the location, I would relay them to Thief, who would steal them. As I walked into the bar I was afraid I would fail. But then I saw the agori in there, so small and harmless, I realized I would do this mission with no regret, or mercy. I walked over to the bar and tested out my mask. “Get me a drink,” I commanded. “For free? Ask somewhere else,” the bartender then went back to his work. “I said get me a drink,” This time I focused hard. the bartender looked me in the eye and was entranced. He gave me a drink. “Do not notice what I am about to do,” I said quietly. “do not notice what I am about to do...” he repeated in a soft tone, then went back to work, with a blank expression. I walked over to the both where Utuk was sitting. He was there with three friends, and they were drinking and laughing. “Utuk, tell me the location of the blueprints,” I said outright. Utuk looked confused, and a little scared. “Why should we do as you say?! ” said a drunken fire agori. “Yeah, after all you are a toa!” said a Jungle villager. “Don’t insult toa...” a water matoran said nearby in another booth. “Last chance, give me the location or I will make you give me the location.” The other drunken agaori at the both, this one an ice agori. “Hey, tough guy! Why don’t you beat it!” all the agori in the booth (except Utuk) laughed. “Then you have forced my hand,” I responded coldly. I then threw the water agori out of the booth. The other agori got up to fight, but before they could do so I drew my sword, swung it into the booth. There were four thumps as their heads hit the ground, and their bodies slumped in the booth. Everyone in the bar turned, except for the enslaved bartender, to look. If they want a show I'll give it to them. Utuk tried to make a break to the exit. I used shadow to bond him and he fell short. I walked over and picked him up. “I’ll ask you again, and unless you want to end up like your friends I suggest you tell me: Where are the blueprints?” “I’ll never tell your kind!” he screamed. squirming as I held him against the wall. “Do you really think that is wise?” I sheathed my sword and put the agori down. I pulled out my dark matter blaster. “Do you know what dark matter is?” I asked “It is a peculiar substance, driving our universe apart. This gun harnesses that energy and dissolve an agori in a matter of seconds. The question remains: which of your friends will face it’s destruction?” I then held the agori to the wall with my free hand, and scanned the room with the other. “Please no!” he cried “No more!” I scanned the room until I got to the water matoran who had said to respect toa. Utuk and her eyes met. It felt like Jetus and I’s relation ship. “NO STOP!!” he pleaded. “We have a winner,” I replied. The matoran made her escape towards the door, and she almost made it, until the dark matter hit her. Before she could even scream, a hiss dissolved her into nothingness. I loved the sound of a dissolved matoran. “NO!!!” the agori cried. “Tell me where the blueprints are,” I said, seizing the opportunity. “Tujan... THEY’RE IN TUJAN! In a house near the gate, under the desk,” the distraught agori yelled. “I’m done with this conversation,” I said, dropping the agori. As I walked out, I sensed his sadness turn to anger, and heard a sword begin drawn. In vain he yelled and tried to stab me. I was much to quick. Sparks flew as my blade met his, and passed thought it. Interesting, the only thing in the universe that could do that is protosteel, this must be made of a high grade quality, I thought. The agori wheeled as I kicked him in the chest. I picked up the stunned being and pinned him against the wall. “How dare you attack a dark hunter.” Utuk whimpered, then screamed in pain as my sword cut him in half. most of the agori had left the bar by now, but the rest watched in horror. The bartender still didn’t notice. “You are evil!” the water agori yelled, on his deathbed, “All you’re ever going to is spread it! Your more distasteful than Thornax soup! And you will be more hated then...” Crunch. I had grown tired of his talking, and ended his life by grinding his head beneath my foot. I began to walk away. Agori and matoran alike looked at me in shock. “Nothing to see here,” I said, casually walking away. Chapter 5I gave Thief the location of the hiding place and then proceeded to watch him steal it. He did it so expertly, that I barley even noticed he had gone into the building when he stood right next to me, with the blueprints in hand. “Easiest mission ever,” he remarked walking back to our vehicles. Easy for you to say... I muttered. When I got back the Shadowed One had heard of my encounter at the bar, and commended me. “Five agori and 1 matoran dead? I’m impressed. Your reputation grows, and in New Valcanus, people fear you,” he said “enjoy that luxury.” One of his assistance then handed us a scroll with the infor on our next mission. It wasn’t as simple as before: I had to, with the help of my partner Thief, go to Tujan again and assassinate a glatorian who had escaped the base’s prison. It seemed simple, but this glatiorian, named Levosock, had quite a reputation. He was kicked out of the arena for decapitating his opponents with cruelty. "I think we can handle a rowdy fighter," said thief. I wish I had his confidence. The road there was harsh, straight through zesk territory. More than once we had to fend ourselves off from the creatures' attacks. The two of us then arrived at the gates of Tujan. We quietly strode into the city, and no one noticed us. "He is hiding in a hut on the far side. How should we proceed?" I asked my partner. "There are so many ways. We could stage an accident, that always works. Or we could assassinate him from afar. Or just straight up murder him," He said. Thief was a master strategist, after all he was one of the elite Skrall Assassins, so it was in his training. We bickered over ideas, and decided on acting like we were in distress and killing him in his home. The two of us proceeded to his house. It was a small stone hut, it looked unimpressive, and the perfect place for a fugitive criminal to hide. Thief knocked on the door. Levosock cracked opened the door and regarded us coldly. "My friend and I are in need of some supplies," I said, trying to sound distressed as I could. "could you lend us some of your goods?" Thief shot me an angered look, he thought that what I had said was a huge red flag, and not to mention just plain stupid and unbelievable. Noticing this, I used my mask to control a tiny portion of his mind to do my bidding. A merciful person would have just used the mask to make him kill himself, but where is the fun in that? Try as I might to control him, his mind was shielded somehow. "Hunters.." Levosock said in a low voice, and then dashed inside. "Great job Bearer, you blew our cover!" quipped my partner. We rushed in after him. The glatorian made for a small window in the back, picking up his weapons before he left. We hurriedly followed him out. I expected him to go to the desert and find a cave to hide in, but he ran towards the middle of town. I followed in the streets, Thief jumped from rooftop to rooftop. Showoff... I thought to myself. When the Skrall assassin started to outrun the warrior, he jumped down into the street, and cut him off. Levosock stopped just before Thief's blade could hit him. The glatorian was caught in the middle, so he did the logical thing to do and fought. He lunged at me with amazing speed, staff in hand. When he tried to bring the large weapon down on me, I parried it with my own sword. Since my broadsword is made out of super-hard protosteel, it cut through his weapon like butter. I then kicked him in the stomach. Thief was about to strike the man down, but I held my hand up to stop him. Useing my dark matter launcher, I concentrated it to the smallest amout and fired. The shot went up one of his nostrils, and hopefully into his brain cavity. “You have seconds to live, I suggest you speak,” I said, after all, I like to know why I kill people. “Tell me why you were imprisoned, and why we had to kill you.” The matter was expanding his head and the pressure was rising. “Ok ok! I’ll talk,” he said, wallowing on the ground. “I was imprisoned because I sold a Skrall dark hunter a valuable stone given to me by the ancients.” he said. “You mean the great beings?” Asked Thief, obviously intrigued. “Yes, they entrusted me with it during the core wars, along with six others like it. He called them toa stones. Anyways, I hated those stones. They mocked me. They corrupted me. The dark green stone forced me to kill them!” “What green stone? Kill who?” I asked.“The green toa stone, the one I sold. As for who died, it was the glatorian. When you and your friends arived on this planet, a being, who described herself as Helryx, wanted the stones, for safekeeping she said.”“But you couldn’t let them go for free,” said Thief, smiling and nodding approvingly. “Of course not,” the glatorian snapped, “I am no fool! I ran away from her, to here. When you learned I had the stones...” “You were imprisoned, escaped, and we were sent to kill you,” I said, “It all makes sense now. The Skrall used the stone to make the weapon, a weapon that transformed toa powers into dark powers.... a weapon that turned me into a toa. They wanted that Skrall dead because he was a fool!”Levosock barely could nod, as he was in so much pain and agony. He screamed, and we sat there and watched him. He began to convulse, as the pressure was getting to his nerves. While this was going on, some of the local agori had contacted the local muscle: the Tujan Guard. The glatorain Tarix was with them, to see the cause of the comotion. He was shocked to discover us two and the dieing Glatorian. One of the best fighters of Tujan watched one of his own die horribly. Around the time the guard came, it was almost over. The pressure on his head was too much, soon causing it to fracture. And with that Levosock, guardian of the toa stones, was dead. Tarix witnessed this and was deeply angered. Little did we know at the time, that Tarix had been mentored in the art of fighting long ago by Levosock, and was not happy about his death. “NO!” he yelled, using his twin blades as boomerangs. Thief quickly deflected them, as the guard moved in from both sides. “You take Tarix I can handle the guard,” I told him, and he nodded and lunged at the glatorian. The guard moved in closer, believing they could overwhelm me. Agori... overwhelm me?! That’s crazy talk. I quickly used up much of my shadow energy to create chains of shadow to bound the agoris’ necks. the chocked and quickly passed out. Meanwhile Tarix and Thief were locked in combat. Thief was beating Tarix when Tarix leapt to a balcony and saw my carnage. Filled with rage, he foolishly threw both of his blades at me. They knocked the weapons out of my hands. “Oh really? You challenge me to fisticuffs?” I said, unfurling my claws. I jetpacked up to the balcony, and dug my claws into his shoulders. As he screamed in pain I flew higher and slammed him on the ground. He tried to get up once more, but a punch to the face by Thief assured he stayed down. I landed and walked over to him. Tarix was trying to crawl over on his chest to get his weapons. I landed on him, turned him over, and holding him with one hand, ripped him apart with a series of scratches and punches. My claws ripped through his amour like fruit, and severely damaged the tissue underneath.. With no guard to help him, he was defenseless. The final straw was when I used both my claws to rip open his chest plate. He released a sound from his lips that I hope I never again hear a glatorian, or anyone for that matter, make. Satisfied, Thief and I proceeded to exit the city. Tarix shouted at us, “Why don’t you finish me! Please! Have mercy on me!”I looked over my shoulder and replied “Dark Hunter’s rule of thumb, always leave one witness.” Chapter 6The ride back was quite smooth, and I had quite a lot of time to think. I began wondering about the agori and the matoran civilizations. It had been told that they were having trouble bonding. I was wondering about what would happen if full out war was put amongst them. But then another thought came to me. Levosock had said there were six toa stones So there must be five more toa other than me I thought. Toa that I can hunt and kill for my enjoyment. I smiled. Being evil is just too much fun. When we got back to the base Thief confronted me. "Clearly we need to work on your improvisation," he scolded me, "that back there, could have gotten us killed! You have to act naturally, and not just rely on your powers." I shrugged him off. Who need some old skrall to boss you around? Many more missions went by, all more dangerous then the rest. (Don't ask me about the one with the Scorpio and the Thornax fruit) After one particular mission, I went into the Shadowed One's chamber, and he did not look happy. "Ah, Bearer," he said, "I heard about the tribe of Zesk, and I must commend you on it. But we have a problem. Apparently five toa have killed some of my most valuable operatives, and even have dared to steal from some of my caravans." "So you want me to kill them? Seems simple enough," I replied"No, I want you to do more than kill them. I want you to kill them slowly. Do what you did in Tujan. But I think you can take them on alone."Alone?! I thought Is he insane."Piece of cake," I said. And with that, I went off to meet the toa magna for the first time.Their camp was desolate. It was in the middle of nowhere, why they were there, was a mystery to me. It was a well known trade route, and was often used by the hunters to transport materials and agents from place to place. I waited until nightfall to make my move. As I drew closer to the location I overheard them talking around a fire."I'm just saying, Muyia that there is a sixth member of our team," the white armored one said, I deduced he was a toa of ice. The green-blue toa of plant life named 'Muyia' responded "So what we have five, that doesn't make us incomplete!""I'm just saying Levosock said there were six stones and he sold one" I shivered at the mention of Levosock So this is the toa team I was meant to be with.A blue toa of water stood up. "Maybe it's Krill!"I had heard that voice before... but it couldn't be"Jetus,” I said to myself. She had become a toa!All five turned and found me crouched there.I cursed. “So is this the famous krill we have been hearing about sister?” asked the black toa of earth.“I don’t know, he was a Le-Matoran, and toa of air are not black,” she looked at me quizzically.“Am I krill? both yes and no. The old Krill is dead. The dark hunter Bearer is not.”“I knew it,” said Muyia, “I knew they had transformed him all along, and now, we must kill him!” Jetus stoped him, “No! it is not the toa way, we do not kill, we must help him.”“I dont know about you, but I love to kill,” I replied, and I threw a blast of shadow at them, and dove away from blasts of ice, earth, heat, water, and plants. But by the time the darkness cleared I was gone.“Stay together, he is around here somewhere,” Said the toa of ice. They circled around the campfire, looking through the dunes to try to spot me. But they wouldn’t. I had a plan B, and they were falling for it. I got in my Thoratus, and sped over the dunes and rammed into the five toa. As I turned around for another sweep, the toa of ice produced a slick that made my vehicle skid and fall over, trampling the toa of earth in the process. As I got up, Muyia stood in my way. He grabbed me in the throat. “Where do you think you’re going?” he asked. He dropped me, then he powered up his spear and blasted me with elemental power. At first it didn’t do anything, but then I began to feel pain. Then I realized what he was doing. He was turning all my cells into plant cells! I was about to react, when I realized I couldn’t move my arms or anything. Then the pain came. Imagine, you dove into a pool of lava. Now multiply that pain times thirty. That is what this felt like. For the first time ever, I screamed. Chapter 7I awoke in a tent, the next day, and felt very weak. Apparently I had passed out, but when I did Jetus hit Muyia and disrupted him from completing his full effect. She was now sitting at my side, caring to me. She also informed me that the rest of the team had voted to bind me, and also remove my mask and weapons. “But I’m glad to see you alive, so what happened with you and the dark hunters?” she asked. I then told her my story of triumph, and she was appalled. “Why... Why would you do such things?!” Before I could answer, Muyia interupted. "He does it because he is a crazed murderer, and he should be treated like one, sister." I shot a look at him. "Might I suggest we head out soon," said the toa of ice, who I now knew was named Jusaray, "It's going to be dark soon and I would hate to delay.""Wait, why are we leaving, I thought you wanted to sit here and ambush more caravans," I said, my voice full of annoyance and disgust. Muyia laughed, "No, now that we have you, we must complete our destiny: To unite the Matoran and Agori as they should be.""Well look who just jumped on the chute, Mr.kill-him-he's-a-murderer," Jetus shot back. Muyia ignored her."Besides," I said, "How do we know our destiny is to unite the matoran?" Jusaray responded with the weirdest response ever, "Well, according to Levosock, the great spirits who gave him the stones said that 'those who posses the stone, shall unite many, but also destroy all'. This means a couple of things. Firstly that we will unite the matoran and the agori. Secondly one of us *cough* you *cough* *cough* will betray us all and get many people killed.”“A simple ‘Levosock told us so' would have sufficed.....”“So, where do we go first?” Jetus asked“ We should go to toa Umata,” We all turned to look at Turarja, the toa of earth, and Gusta, the toa of fire, who had just entered the tent.“Shut up about Umata, Turarja!” Snapped Muyia.“Hey, he can say whatever he wants!” yelled JetusMuyia got in her face. “Clearly you don’t see who is in charge here.”“Well who made you leader?”“The great spirit of mata nui!”“Yeah right, and just yesterday I had some madu fruit with Artahka.”“Are you mocking me?!”“Yes, yes I am.” “I do not accept this in MY toa team!”“YOUR toa team? Last time I checked I was in the toa magna. You go run your team into the ground but I‘m staying here”“THAT’S IT!!” Muyia lost it, and punched Jetus in the face. While they were talking, I had managed to cut my bonds. When the toa of plant life attacked Jetus, I grabbed my mask, put it on, and lunged at Muyia. I unfurled my claws. “This is for Jetus!” I said, cutting through his back amour plating. He cried out and fell to his knees. “And this is for trying to turn me into shrub!” I hit him in the side of the head, and knocked him out cold. “Now I say that we hear more about this so called toa Umata.”Turarja, obviously frightened, quickly said, “He was a toa who moved to the planet after our universe was destroyed, also he also is a master of prophecy, and weapon making. PLEASE DON’T HURT ME!” I laughed at that last comment.“And according to my calculations,” Jusaray butted in, “Umata is approximately 100 bios to the northwest. I suggest we start heading there now, and see how he can help us.” "How will he help us exactly? I mean, what's he gonna do? Magically unite the matoran and agori?" said Jetus"Well, he's a toa of iron, and a former Nynrah ghost," we all turned to Gusta now. He was a quiet type, and it was weird that he knew this, and even weirder that he talked about it. A toa of iron, Yes he will be most useful.... I thought. "Alright, so We'll set out imeadiatly" I anounced, and as we slowly traveled down the road into the black spike mountains, a plan formulated in my head.... Chapter 8"So, what are all your masks and their powers?" I asked, trying to make small talk but also trying to formulate strategy about how to destroy each toa. ""Elda, detection," Said Jetus"Kulaka, absorption," replied Turarja"Jusak, Intelligence," Jusaray bragged, "Although it is peculiar that it is placed on the back of my head rather than on the front, so it's more of a headdress.""Yuta, fusion," mumbled Gusta."huh, that's why its fused to your face! Well, old team-captain over here has Kualsi, the mask of quick travel," laughed Jetus. Muyia was still unconcious and was being carried on a makeshift gurney."What about you, what's your mask and power?" asked Turaja."Mine?" I replied, "Kahdren, mask of enslavement." After that, an awkward silence fell over the group. We walked all day, then camped at night. Muyia woke up the second day of the journey, and began trying to take lead. After 3 days, we had made it to his fortress. Turaja was VERY excited. "I can't wait to show him my robotic arm!" He said, voice quavering with enthusiasm."Wait, you only have one arm? How did you loose the other?" I asked."Simple!" Said Jusaray, "He never had one in the first place." Turaja nodded in approval. As we aproached the front door, I felt like I was being watched. Of course, number one fan knocked on the door himself. A huge, lumbering brute advanced towards him. He gasped. "This must be one of his guard drones! Um... drone, take us to your master!" The "drone" laughed. "Master? Toa Umata has no master!" Turaja looked dejected. "So, what brings a band of toa to my neck of the woods?" "We seek guidance with our destiny of uniteing the agori and matoran!" replied Muyia."Very well, follow me."His weapon shop and living quarters were both ugly and amazing. He had pieces of machinery and equipment like no other. "So your a Nynrah ghost?" I asked. "Formerly, I went into hiding after Tumaru died.""I take it this Tumaru was a friend?""More than a friend, we were part of a two being toa team, she and I. She was a toa of lighing, and I of course of iron. After the Makuta killed off most of the ghosts, we started hunting them. Untill they set a trap for us... She was killed and I was maimed..." "I'm sorry for your loss," Said Turaja, "by the way, how did you get all this equipment from within the MU?""Well," he said, "I mined it out and made the equipment, also order some of it from Vortixx, and began making weapons. Actually, I didn't realize it at the time, but it was mining right through the MU's outer shell!" They both laughed at that. "So where is your mask? I don't see you wearing any?" Asked Jetus"Ah, well, I incorporated it into my armor, along with a complex computer system, and many other masks and tokens." Turaja butted in, "Hey, Umata, could you explain something to me? My quiet friend Gusta here once decided to dip his hand in energized protodermis, and now his hand is all silver and he has weird powers, can you explain this," Gusta glared at Turaja furiously. "Well, he must just be destined to have it, after all it didn't burn off like it normally should," Almost as an act of revenge, Gusta blurted out "Well...well can you explain why when Turarja became a toa he absorbed some of Muyia's powers!" Muyia looked intently at Turarja. Faintly, his amour looked blue and green. "Ah, must have been destiny. Now you two beings are intertwined, what happens to one, will effect the other." Muyia smiled "Look at that brother, we're intertwined!" "Yeah, like two madu fruit on a branch," Turarja grumbled. I grew annoyed at their friendly banter and began to walk a way, when something, or someone I should say, caught my eye. I walked over to a dark part of the building, where Umata apparently made parts. Then I saw the figure. "Loyal! What are you doing here. " I whispered angrily. Now, for those of you who don't know, Loyal was a Skakdi warrior and when the MU was destroyed, he migrated to Spherus Magna. He then got involved in the glatorian system, and was the first non-bara magnan being ever to be in the arena. In one fierce fight, he got his arm and leg cut off. His opponent was banished, and he was crippled. The Shadowed One took him into his own hands and turned Loyal into his replacement for his right hand man Ancient. He put a device in his brain to transmit anythign he saw or heard directly to the Shadowed One. The Shadowed one could also use his body as kind of a surveillance drone, he could take it over and control it. On top of that, he carried an old Bohderahk staff of loyalty. In all, you didn't want to be on an assignment with Loyal."Oh Just getting info," he said calmly."You idiot! You could get us both exposed!""For what? You betraying the Hunters for some toa team!? The Shadowed one is most unhappy with the current events you are taking place in." "Listen, Shadowed One, I know you are watching, I have a plan. A plan that I need you in on. Tell at least 10, no 100 hunters to meet at the Iron graveyard. I'll figure it out from there."Loyal sighed, "I expected so much more out of you, but very well, I must be on my way." He jumped up the the ceiling, using the rafters to find his way out."Krill, did you hear? Umata is coming with us!" said Jetus, "Isn't this exciting! The two of us, on a journey, together again at last!" I looked at here with contempt in my eyes and walked away. It's a shame I have to kill her I said She could prove useful to the Hunters. Chapter 9Misery. That was the only way to describe traveling down the road. Between Muyia's trying to take lead, Umata's and Turaja's talk about inventions, Jusaray's coldness, Jetus's blind excitement, and Gusta's silence, it was horrible. I was so close to victory over them but yet so far away. As I led the group towards the valley, I told them that we were going to meet up with some of the glatorian at new valcanus. All of them grumbled, as this was a very long journey, but in truth it would be shorter (Iron Graveyard is about 1/4 of the way to the city). Around half way through the "journey of doom", I realized someone was watching us. At first, I thought it was Loyal, but then I realized Loyal didn’t have wings.... or a giant axe. I stopped dead in my tracks. “What’s wrong, brother?” asked Jetus. “He’s just trying to stall, keep going!” Muyia heckled. “No you idiot! We’re being followed!” I yelled. At that moment the figure charged and hit the ground in front of us. We all drew our weapons. “Relax, I’m friendly,” said the being. He appeared to be a drone of some sort, and spoke in a robotic way. It also appeared that his arm was replaced. “Who are you?” Muyia said. “I am Beliu, a member of the Order of Mata Nui and a friend.” Beliu responded. At the name ‘Order of Mata Nui’ I shuddered. They stood for everything we did not. “And what if you’re lying to us, that’s a probability,” said Jusaray. “You dare mess with a makuta?” he responded. Before anyone could react, Umata had charged Beliu and tackled him to the ground. As he beat Beliu, a green mist began to flow out of the cracks in his amour. The makuta screamed. And trust me, you don’t want to know what that sounds like. When we finally pried Umata off of Beliu, the makuta was in bad shape. “That was for my friends, that was for Tumaru!” He yelled. “No.... you don’t understand....” Beliu said weakly. “I’m a Miserx makuta.... I sided with him when Teridax took over.... When my body evolved I faked my own death, I took refuge in a fire drone..... The Order took notice and enlisted me to spy on you....” “Spy on me?” Umata questioned, “I can see though your bluff Beliu, because NO ONE spys on me, and K-67 was definitely not possessed!” “At your service master,” Beliu said, in a voice that resembled a fire drone’s. Umata looked shocked that he knew this. “Your arm,” he said, noticing his left arm, “You.... built the weapon!?” he said in amazement. As it turns out, on Beliu’s left arm was a sonic weapon, utilizing a Kohrak-kal shield. Umata fell to the ground. “What have I done!” he yelled.“Yeah, yeah, yeah..... Drama, Drama, Drama...... Could you please fix me Umata?” said Beliu impatiently, as the green gas started to dissipate. Using his powers over iron, Umata formed his body back into one, and the cloud went back inside. “Thank you, I was starting to worry!” Beliu sighed with relief.“So, he made the sonic weapon? I thought you said that was impossible, Umata” Tararja questioned.“I figured out the quirk,” Beliu responded, “You had to add two more wires to the cooling system so it didn’t over load.”“OOOOOHHHHHH!” the two inventors said. “Well, even though it’s kind of weird that I just found one of my only ‘friends’ ever was also one of my mortal enemies, I think I can forgive 67,” sighed Umata. “So are we going to continue or just stay here and chat?” I said impatiently.“Why do you want to get to New Valcanus so quickly?” Jusaray asked. I had to think quick. “Because.... because one of the sellers at their market had some ancient tablets that could contain more prophecy to tell us how unite the matoran and agori.” They bought it and we continued on. Chapter 10“I’ll go scout ahead, you guys stay here!” I said as we approached the graveyard. It was about a day after we met Beliu, and I was eager to Annihilate the others. True to the Shadowed One’s word, 100 dark hunters were there. Loyal was leading them, along with theif. “So, what’s the plan?” thief asked“Ok, I lead them into the graveyard, you surrond it and kill them, simple?” I saidLoyal looked uneasy, “Easier said then done, a toa of fire, a toa of light, and a water glatorian are here.” Heh, looks like I’ll take out two birds with one stone, I thought to myself. “Kill them too, it makes no difference!” I said, “Now hide, and when I draw my sword, come out,” I saidI bounded back to the group. “Looks like we have company, two toa and a glatorian up ahead.” I reported. The group was excited, as these were the first people they had seen since Beliu. We marched into the graveyard, and the three travelers looked at us quizzicly.“What are you doing here?” the toa of light asked. “Just passing through,” Muyia said.“I don’t believe we have met, allow me to introduce myself: I’m Tahu, this is Takanuva, and that is Kiina.” the toa of fire said. We exchanged pleasantries. “So what brings you here?” Jusaray asked. “Kiina was just telling us about this grave site.” Said Takanuva.“Of course, it was an iron tribe village untill they were wiped out by the dreaming plague. Of course, we now know that it really wasn’t a plague, but still it was deadly.” Jusaray babbled. I grew anxious. Knowing that I was so close to destroying my biggest threats I almost couldn’t wait. As they continued talking, I slowly backed away, and when I was far enough, drew my sword. When they heard it drawn, all the hunters rose up out of hiding and took aim at the group. “What the!?” Kiina yelled. The group was stunned. “I told you we shouldn’t have brought him along, it’s all your fault1 Jetus!” Muyia said franticly.“We’ll have time for blaming later, now we fight!” quipped Tahu.“Would you all just shut up already!” I said, obviously annoyed, “look, I’ll make this simple: you can accept your fate, or you can try to fight it. If you run, you will die. If you stay, you will die.”“So, if we do anything we will die?” asked Umata.“That’s the idea,” I replied “Now charge!”And thus began, one of the biggest battles in all of Spherus Magna’s history... Chapter 11In all honesty, what happened next, is blurred in my mind. The Dark Hunters stormed in at my command, and proceeded to attack the group in a multitude of ways. Loyal took on Tahu, and I took on Kiina." I knew you were the one who attacked Tarix! I knew it!" She yelled, blasting me with water. I dodged her attack and sliced at her with my sword. She parried it with her trident, which was an amazingly strong weapon, and tried to shoot me with her thornax launcher. I ducked under it, flipped over her, and stabbed her with the small dagger on the but of my blade. She screamed in pain, and fell to the ground. Not quite dead, but very close to it. I then used my jetpack to survey the battle field, and I was not happily surprised. The toa were beating back my hunters. I noticed loyal move in to attack Beliu. He sneered at him, and tried to attack him with his mind control vision and his staff of loyalty. Being a makuta, they were in effective against him. Suddenly, Beliu fell to the ground. Loyal laughed for a while, and then a look of sheer agony cave over his face. He dropped his weapons and yelled for mercy. At that moment, I realized what had happened. Beliu had left his body, and since Loyal's mind is mostly mechanic, manifested in his brain and started to drive him insane. His replacement arm and leg began to twitch. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore. He reached for his staff, and painstakingly, shoved it into his chest, effectively killing himself. It was gruesome to watch. It was a bitter sweet moment when I watched that dark green gas go back into the drone body. Meanwhile, Thief had taken no notice of what had happened to loyal, and was brutally assaulting Tahu, who used his mask of shielding to block, then tried to slow him down with balls of flame. He eventually got tired, and Thief went in for the kill. He hit him in the shoulder with one of his throwing knives, and disarmed him by stabbing his arm with a wrist mounted blade. Tahu throbbed in pain, and punched thief in the face. He stumbled back as Tahu grabbed his sword, and fell back to Takanuva. I then turned my attention on Muyia. Although he probably wasn't the biggest (or brightest) of threats, he was a real thorn in my side. It's time I had that thorn removed I said to myself. I landed on the ground, and threw a shadow blast at him, and went in for the kill. I shot dark matter at him and tried to slash him with my sword. He blocked with his shield, and launched his elemental powers at me. I countered with my own. "You idiot! You were supposed to help us!" he yelled "You were the sixth member! You betrayed us!" Now, I don't mind a fool, but a naive fool? I despise them. I replied, "You idiot! I was never on your side!" and launched more dark matter at him. It hit his armor, and he crumpled as it dissipated. After that I heard Jetus yell, "NOW!!" And an explosion of light hit me. It felt as if my armor was being ripped off, and reassembled again. I would have screamed, but I couldn't. It was my worst nightmare, even worse then the time I dreamed that a Muaka ate me, then spit me out, then ate me again five times. All I could see was light. After that, I went unconscious..... Epilogue"Bearer!? Are you ok?!" Those were the first words I heard after I woke up. Thief shook me awake. "What happened?" I asked him. "Takanuva hit you with a blast of light, you look different, but no time to waste, the hunters are retreating. We've lost this one, let's get out of here." As I got up, I felt different. My body looked green, and I felt like I could fly. As thief helped me hobble off, Muyia crept in from behind. "Look out!" Shouted thief, but it was too late. In a fit of anger, Muyia had tried to stab me, but Thief shielded me, and took the brunt of the blow. I watched as Muyia's spear impaled itself into my friend. "NO!" yelled Tahu, running over to assist me in trying to assist me in reviving thief. "It's not the toa way brother!" We tried and tried and tried, but it didn't work. Thief was dead. Anger arose in me. I lashed out at Muyia with my launcher, only to find that instead of firing dark matter, all it fired was air. "What in the Spirit-Great is this!" I yelled. At that moment, I clamped my mouth shut. Along with my transformation back into a toa of air, I had also reverted back to tree-speech. Yeah. "I just got back from contacting Hylryx. She said she wants to take Krill in for questioning about the Hunters' activities.""Well, can we just ask him ourselves?" asked Jetus."No, she wants to do an official investigation into the attack, and his motives." he replied, and immediately they bound me, and started to transport to the base. Of course, when events as such listed happen, anger grows. When anger and time come together, they form planning. Planning turns into scheming, scheming into doing. And of course, while I was incarcerated and waiting to be interrogated and released, I had all those things happen. Looking back, it was a simple plan, and I am very proud of it. I will show them, I said to myself, They think they know war? I will give them war BEYOND imagination.... Anyone who finds this must already know what that plan is, so no need to waste my time here. Anyways, the plan will be completed in good time. All in good time.....
  19. It all started so quickly. A few miners came back from the far reaches of our territory in a heated argument, which quickly escalated into an all out brawl. Once someone managed to stop the fight, I realized who they were, some of the last people I would have expected to have an argument. "Are you feeling okay, Daban?" someone called out from the back. "Too much heat for you?" "No, I'm fine," said Daban. "Except...I've stopped dreaming." --<>-- We all laughed it off for a while. Who cares if a few people stop dreaming? Pretty soon though, it wasn't just a few. More Agori began complaining of not being able to dream, and violent attacks became common. Somehow, the lack of dreams was affecting everyone, and the Dreaming Plague, as we had begun to call it, threatened to wipe out our tribe. The few survivors who seemed immune had sealed themselves in the old abandoned mines. It was around this time that I stopped dreaming as well. I tried to dismiss it, but I had seen what happens to those who can't dream. My one true friend among the Iron Tribe, Tasend, was also one of those few immune to the Plague's strange effects, and he stood by me through the days. Somehow, he was able to tolerate my increasing bouts of violence and see past it to the Agori I once was. It's much too late for even my best friend to do anything, but that wouldn't stop Tasend from trying. One day, he sat down next to me, and after we sat for a moment in silence, he suddenly turned to see my blank face, put his hands on my shoulders, and sternly said "Look, I know this is hard for both of us, but you've got to hang on." He seemed near tears, and I started to shed a few myself at his outburst. "I know there isn't anything I could do, but I've been thinking, maybe someone else can do something. I'm going to go for help." If there was anything to jolt me out of my stupor, it was that statement. I knew what happened to those who tried to go into the outside world. The other tribes completely ignored our shipments of iron and had rebuffed our leader's attempts at negotiations. If he went out into that cold, unfeeling world, he would die. "I can't let you," I managed to stammer. "It's all I can do. I'm not going to hide like Sahmad and the others and hope this goes away. Maybe I can talk some sense into the other Agori..." "Listen to yourself, Tasend! You know what's going to happen!" I screamed at him, and he flinched. At the sight, I tried to push my fury down. "Tasend, there will be no talking sense into them. The other Agori are too blinded by their fear to even help us. You can't do anything; they'll just kill you." "It's better than simply watching you die!" All along I had known there was no chance of me surviving, but finally hearing it shouted from my best friend's mouth shocked me to the core. "Fine, go then," I said quietly. He had begun slipping out, but turned around for a moment to open his mouth. "Go!" I shouted, but he stood strong against my verbal onslaught. After giving me a hard, yet pitying, stare, he fled out the doorway. --<>-- The next few days were a blur. With nothing to focus on, I drifted off into unconsciousness more and more often and awoke to surroundings that seemed more wrecked than the last time I had seen them. I had no reason to continue living, with Tasend gone. Still, it seemed my body wouldn't give in until his return, so I waited. Finally, word came in the form of another Agori limping across the desert who seemed to be scarcely alive. Some of the other tribe members caught her as she collapsed from exhaustion. She only had enough breath to whisper the sad tale of Tasend's encounter with the Fire Tribe, our previous trading partners. The paranoid Agori had driven him off into the forest, and he was presumed dead. I was the second one to hear the news, and immediately, Plague or not, I jumped out of bed to find him. He can't be dead. He can't be dead... --<>-- Journal Log, Entry 13 After a long haul across the desert, we found an Iron Agori laying in the sand. His mind was far gone from the Dreaming Plague, but before I could stop her, Kinpol jumped forward to help him, and only succeeded in hearing his last word. Tasend... ----<>---- It's good to be writing again, and actually posting it. I have a short story series in the works that I'm excited for, but in the meantime, here's what I threw together for the latest FFFC, "Trial by Fire." I've been really working on making my characters more realistic, so if you think I did a good job, or if you enjoyed, it would be great if you could leave a comment. Thanks for reading!
  20. So I was just bored and decided to build an Agori leader. I don't have a name for him, I simply call him "The Storyteller." I don't know if I'll ever include him in my books, but I just felt like showing this to you. I only took a picture from the front, since there's nothing really exciting to see in the back. The Malum claw is supposed to be like a shield or something that can also be used as a melee weapon. And as for why he wears a mask, it actually isn't a mask if you look at Hydraxon's page, it's simply a helmet/faceplate.Front (Large): http://www.brickshel...eller_front.jpg
  21. What do we know about the physical characteristics of Agori, Glatorian, and the other natives of Spherus Magna? I think Greg says they have hair, but where does it grow? Just on top of their heads? Can they grow beards, too? Armpit hair? And is the color of their head in the set supposed to be the color of their skin?Going by the set forms, they seem to have large feet, though we can't tell how much of that is boot. Compared to human proportions, Agori seem to have large hands while Glatorian have small heads. I think their faces are supposed to look more organic than the faces in the set do, but going by the basic details of that piece, they have wide jaws, large, square, wide-spaced nostrils on a flat nose, and large, sort of rectangular eyes that might not have visible pupils. And another question: are the bug-like mandibles of Vorox and Zesk actually part of them, or just part of their helmets? What else do we know or can we assume about these beings?
  22. Okay, it's been a little while since I was supposed to post this, but I've been working on something, and it should be explained in due time. Anyways, as explained in my Nui Rama Revamp and Large MOCs topics (both should still be barely open, and they need some love!), I have been needing to clean off my shelves to make room for a new bunch of MOCs I'll post once I get some pieces (see my sig if you want to help). And now, I'll just stop this shameless self advertising and talking, and get to what you wanted to see in this topic, the MOCs! Just stick with me, I've got a few.GarClick it, it's a link. This guy is what took me so long. Now, it doesn't look like it, but he took me about 7-8 hours of work (that I should have finished my summer homework in ). I'll just explain by saying that mask was a Photoshop job, and not painted, and it took me forever to get it right. The mask still looks a little more like gunmetal than I would like, but I'm done editing it. Somehow, I also came up with silver, gunmetal, and bronze while working on it too, so it took forever, but was well worth it.Gar is a (canon) Onu-Matoran of Mahri-Nui who took part in Defilak's exploration of the deep and the encounter with Pridak. Basically, I just got the set of Dekar, and noticed that we never got a small set for '07 in black or white, and I realized that I really liked the look of a black Great Komau. So, just a quick idea of what I think Gar would look like.VeriusBackpack function: 1, 2, 3, 4Weapons: Cordak Pistol, Survival Dual Blade, and Grapple GunGalleryThis guy was a part of my entry in the SSC #8 I think, in my story called Shadow Play. If you look at the banner I made for it, you can see that I made a MOC for Commander Kira of the R.A.M.A. squadron, so I also decided to make another main character, Verius, the Jungle Agori. This guy uses my outdated Matoran build that's just quick and simple I have to say I'm extremely proud of his backpack function and weapons. His backpack, at the spin of a gear, flips off of his back and turns around to reveal a small Rhotuka Spinner with the ability to create energy webs. His usual list of weapons includes the standard Cordak Pistol, a smaller version of the Cordak Blaster (of which I am very proud ), The Survival Dual Blade (I just came up with that name, but I found out how cool those two pieces look together!), or his Grapple Gun, (originally intended for minifig use).Verius is very brave, even though he just got out of the R.A.M.A. academy. He is ready to do anything required in the line of duty, and risk anything to get the job done. He carries the latest in R.A.M.A. gear and has been trained how to use it under the command of the greatest Commander known to R.A.M.A., Commander Kira.Rahaga IruiniPoseAlternate Movie BuildAfter watching Web of Shadows in a burst of nostalgia, I noticed that the sides of the Rahaga have that kind of L-shaped piece similar to the '01 Turaga (although watching closer, a body type like the Va would have fit better, look closely at their back), so I decided to try it out. I tried to make the entire thing compatable with the pieces available at the time as well, and I think it turned out very nice. The staff was based off my old mini Kurahk, by using those mini weapons from the playsets as the tips, and lightsaber width bars for the staff looks much better.I've also included an alternate movie version I was considering with a propellor back, and the original staff piece.Vahki StarsSideSpiderThis uses and idea I've had for a long time. Ever since I saw those Avtoran legs on Solek, I just thought "mini Vahki." Unfortunately, my idea consisted of using the legs upside down, and using a ball joint there would have limited the posability (unless I used two, but my ball joints are otherwise occupied right now ). Eventually, I figured out that strange little attachment I think I've used before by putting a Metrutoran limb on the Mata foot, and holding it in with a 2 length peg. The rest of it was mostly just improving around that, but I kind of like the head. And last one, bear with me!Nuhvok-Va revampedSide/constructionPoseThis charming little guy started out with my want to try and revamp the Bohrok with all it's original functions. If any of you have ever tried it, it's impossible. So, while doing my best, I rebuilt my Bohrok-Va and was messing with them, and managed to rebuild it in a cooler way with a small waist and more insectoid look using the same pieces. Since that limited mobility, I decided to try and revamp it using the rest of my parts and some ideas I've taken from other Va revamps. The result ended up to be very posable and very uniquely insectoid. I'm very proud of this one, and have since decided that I am much better at making small MOCs, and I can't build a titan to save my life. I'd say this is one of my favorites. So, what do you think, now that it's finally done? Comments and critism would be greatly appreciated!
  23. This is my theory at Agori/Matoran Languages and communication. As everyone knows, or should know, or better know, is that the language in the MU is, well, Matoran. I tried looking up on BS01 to see if any other language is actually spoken in the MU besides Matoran, and that search turned up empty-handed. When the Reformation(or whatever it's "officially" called) happened, the Toa and Glatorians began an attempt to merge the Matoran and Agori populations. Now, I don't know if they spoke the same language, if Mata Nui did some mind-melding on both populations or what, but we do know that the Toa and Glatorians were able to communicate. Matoran, as is believed, is a robotic language. Much like R2-D2, or at least in that neighborhood of language. Agori(and Glatorians) are more organic then metal and gears like the Matoran Universe population. This begs the question: Are their vocal cords organic or is it a mechanical speech box(for lack of a better word. ) like the Matoran? The former is the most likely. With that in mind, it would be near impossible for the Agori to speak Matoran very fluently. Or even clearly. It would be like asking an American Indian, who has only spoken his language his entire life, to communicate with a Japanese man, who also only has spoken his language! There would be no communication except maybe for gestures and the like. Even then, the cultures are so different, the gestures mean different things! Now here's my theory: The Matoran actually don't talk in their robotic language. They actually speak Agori! Their speech boxes are programed to speak Agori. Why? It's simple really! The GB knew that they needed a language for the MU population to use. They didn't exactly have the time to make up a whole new language, now did they? They knew the Shattering was going to happen, so why not just use the language everyone already spoke? Agori. It would solve the communication problem I brought up earlier. With both populations speaking Agori, it would be easier for them to merge together into one population. The language in the MU, Agori, was just named Matoran, for the same reason Agori is named Agori. The Matoran are the largest population group. It makes sense to call the language Matoran. Why call it Vortixx or Skakdi when they make up a smaller group of the total population? TL;DR? Matoran actually speak Agori. Now, I do realize I didn't use the technical terms, but I think I got my point across. Go ahead and pick it apart, I know you people will. If you guys are confused, I'm sorry, but I can only explain it to you, I can't understand it for you. Thanks for reading.
  24. Hello. This is the first time I've ever posted an Epic and also the first time I've ever posted in the Library Forums. This story details my interpretation of the adventures of the Shperus Magna and Matoran Universe characters after the 2010 storyline. As the post 2010 story serials have not updated in some time and appear as if they will stay dormant indefinately, I chose to write around some of the loose story threads in them as I have no idea what Greg was planning for them (for example I'm choosing to write around the Red Star plotline) The review topic can be found here http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4586 Bionicle Evolution Chapter 1With a slow grinding and clanking noise, the lift began to rise. Onua’s eyes were already struggling to adjust to the light as he came up from the depths. He was nervous, for he was not only climbing up towards the light, but also back towards the inquisitive eyes of many beings. The Toa Nuva were heroes again. It had happened a few weeks ago in those tense hours of chaos after the end of it all. The Toa’s mortal enemy, the Makuta, had finally been vanquished once and for all thanks to the power and bravery of the Great Spirit, Mata Nui. Makuta had stolen the Great Spirit’s original form, a massive mechanoid which had contained the world the Matoran and Toa had inhabited. This had posed a problem. For as Makuta fell dead upon the ground of the reborn Spherus Magna, the mechanoid began to shut down, and in three days its systems would completely collapse, dooming all within. It would be impossible to evacuate a universe within that time, but the Toa could not abandon the Matoran who had endured so much to get to this day.The Toa didn’t have to face this challenge alone however. The inhabitants of this new world, the Agori, were quite willing to help those who were aligned with their friend Mata Nui. Indeed, the Agori had experience in this department, having weeks ago had unwittingly dragged ancient robot parts across the dessert to serve as a village. Mata Nui had latter used that massive robot to fight Makuta, and it to lay destroyed across the land. This new challenge was more difficult though. The Robot the Agori had assembled was smaller, it hadn’t contained the additional weight of universe within it, and the Agori had only moved separate parts, not a cohesive whole. But it was crucial that the robot be moved. Makuta’s defeat had caused the robot to fall on its side, meaning the level of death and destruction within would only increase once the internal gravity stabilizers failed and the Matoran fell away from the landmasses. But they had succeeded. Organizing quickly, the Toa realized that enough beings with the enhanced strength of a Kanohi Pakari might just be able to pull the robot onto its back. That’s were the Toa Nuva came in. With four Kanohi Pakari Nuva at their disposal they split up, gathering a large group of Agori, Glatorian, Toa and other beings with each of them to different areas along the side of the robot. Cables were anchored to the metal hull, and together they pulled, all strengthened by Kanohi Nuva and their ability to share powers. Thousands of beings, all gifted with enormous strength, pulled in unison, and slowly the robot began to move unto its back. Momentum increased and the metal giant, propelled by the planets gravity, began to fall over. Sensing the danger, the Toa Nuva quickly summoned their Kanohi Kakama Nuva so they could evacuate their groups several hundred miles from the robots impact. The robot was now in a position where the failing internal gravity of the universe was aligned with the natural gravity of Spherus Magna. In the days that followed, aided by exidian and protosteel tools, as well as Toa of magnetism and iron, they had cut holes through the top hull of the robot. Now the evacuation of flying beings would be easier, and the natural circulation of air and sunlight through the holes would keep the eternal environment somewhat habitable once the robot’s backup systems completely failed. It was towards one of those holes that Onua was now ascending. He was on a lift that had been constructed to carry beings and valuables out of Metru Nui’s dome. He had made many trips like this one already, carrying useful supplies and equipment down to Spherus Magna. After reaching the top of the robot’s head where the island of Mata Nui previously existed, he would descend down the side using scaffolds constructed by Matoran and Agori. After handing his load off to a transport caravan, Ouna triggered his Kakama Nuva and sped towards New Atero, a citadel, that once completed, would be a haven for beings from both worlds. As he ran, the world a blur around him, Onua’s mind returned to a matter gravely concerning him. It had been over a month since the Makuta’s defeat and still no sign of Lewa had been found. Kopaka and Pohatu had covered many kio, but all they had found were the remains of a nightmare. Now the Toa had separated, each to pursue matters most pressing to them.“This is not good”, thought Onua as he arrived at the outskirts of the growing citadel,” I thought we learned the error of forsaking unity back on Mata Nui.”--------The two masks were inches from each other. There were eyes filled with uncertainty behind one of them, but the other was empty. Not even the metallic stitches that once held the patchwork Kanohi together could keep the mask cohesive now.“It’s over. You know that, right? It’s finally over.”Lesovikk pulled his eyes away from the destroyed Olisi and looked down at his companion, the Ta Matoran Sarda. “Yes, it’s over,” said Lesovikk after a pause. The brooding Toa of Air had spent centuries hunting Karzahni, looking for Matoran friends that had been mangled and hidden by the twisted being. Now one such friend, Sarda, stood at his side, and Karzanhi was dead. Toa Kopaka and Pohatu had returned with his body and with the allegation that Lesovikk had been responsible for his death. In his mind, Lesovikk admitted that some part of him would have relished the act, but in reality he knew he hadn’t become so consumed with vengeance to actually go through with it. The chief charge Kopaka had presented had been Lesovikk’s own sword. Just when it seemed as if life had conspired to wreck Lesovikk’s life even further, a powerful figure named Axonn had appeared, absolving Lessovikk of all guilt using his mask of Truth. The Kanohi verified Lesovikk’s story that he had lost his blade in a scuffle with a large group of Skakdi following a strange golden being. Kopaka and Pohatu had quickly departed after the Skakdi upon learning of their possession of the Toa Marhi, leaving Lesovikk here, with the Mask of his mortal enemy. Days had passed since his acquittal, and still he held the Olisi with him unable to think of the next move. He had tailed Karzahni for so long. After the madman’s first defeat Lesovikk was able to channel his energies into capturing pit prisoners with Sarda and Hydraxon. Now on this strange knew world he was at a loss as to where he fit in.The Toa of air stirred from his thoughts. He heard Sarda shiver against the cold of the deepening evening. Lesovikk’s fears eased. He knew that whatever he faced on this strange new world, his friend would be there at his side. Together to began the walk back to Atero.“It will be OK,” Sarda reassured him as they walked. “Things change, we grow and we evolve.”The Toa and Matoran passed over the ground as the night fell on Spherus Magna.
  25. Awesome banner coming soon...Review topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=4060BATTLE BETWEEN BROTHERSPrologueI am Jamar. This is my story:One peaceful day,I went hunting, never to see my home village again...This is how it happened:One hot day,I went hunting along with 3 other Agori from my Village, one of them Tarduk,an old friend of mine. We were hunting for at least 5 hours and caught nothing, until at last we killed a jur's bird. Then,we saw a fire burning not so far away, and it was close to the village. We all were shocked. We realized that no natural fire burns the way this one did;we knew we were under attack. We all ran,and then, one of the members of our company(whom was Jihli,a respected Hunter from my Village) was shot with an arrow. We quickly saw that it was a Skrall's arrow, and we knew he was dead. But he wasn't. These were his last words:"Go out...go out..and free the village. Fight back against...these attackers...fight them...protect..protect our home...." With those words,he died. Tarduk, whom was Jihli's brother, wanted revenge,so he quickly ran ahead of us. I screamed to him: "Get back here! Revenge is worth nothing!". But I guess he didn't listen, although he survived and got to the Village, but it was too late: there were dead Agori everywhere. Those that weren't killed were taken as Prisoners. Tarduk quickly began fighting the Skrall, and freeing most of the Prisoners. But the rest of the Skrall went ahead on their Rock Steeds, quickly driving with the Prisoners hanging from the sides of the saddles. In frustration,Tarduk knocked down the Skrall banners that were put up by the Skrall. Me and Fardinu(the best Female Hunter in the village) rushed up to him and calmed him down. We told him that he was brave to do this, and still be alive. We told him that most of the prisoners were freed. "Yes,but what of the rest?" was his answer. His words have lingered in my head to this day. This was 15 years ago...Chapter oneIt was good to see the Agori working;they have been rebuilding the village since the day the Skrall attacked. Already, much work was accomplished, and much more to be yet done. The Agori built small huts in the Trees;these huts were attached to the branches with long leather straps. The hut itself is very small, there is only room to fit up to three Agori. The huts are made out of leaves, but very thick leaves, and there is also 4 layers of leaves that make the wall. I have slept in one of them, and I have made it my temporary Home. It is very comforting to sleep in one, they say they give you good dreams. For me,they don't. You see, somewhere from the very edge of my mind comes a Skrall that has appeared in my worst nightmares. I have seen him before, only for seconds, but still,I have seen him. And something tells me,that I will meet him again.-CDP
