  1. Aderia

    "Takua, No!!"

Been branching out in this recent quarantine. Branches include Clone Wars and drawing, thus I give you: (rough translation of Matoran and Galactic Basic ) Eheh, I forgot how Ussal crabs worked, so now we have puny Pewkew. As always, totally open to suggestions, would love to improve!
  2. Lord Of The Bionicle This is my secret santa gift to T1S. So I hope he enjoys it. In case you didn't figure it out by the title, it's a Lord of the Rings, bionicle crossover. Discussion topic:http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/22082-lotb-discussion/?p=1059414 The story starts in the forge of Ekimu, where Ekimu defeats Kulta. Kulta was thrown back by the force of Ekimu's hammer and landed in the furnace, but before he could burned to a crisp, a dimensional gate opened underneath him and sent him to another dimension, and at the same time, Brutaka stepped out of the portal. This Brutaka is not the one your familiar with, this Brutaka uses his mask to discover other dimensions and report about them to the rulers of his dimension."Hmm, this is interesting" he said to himself. "Excuse me, you in the gold and blue armor, I need to check out your dimension and I could use a guide"Brutaka said. "Uhh, I'm a little busy right now, but if you head over to one of the six villages, I'm sure you could find a guide" Ekimu said as he put the Mask of Creation back on his face. "Okay, thank you" Brutaka said gratefully. Meanwhile, the maskless Kulta ended up in a dimension above the clouds where Ekimu had no brother and he used his Mask of Creation to make thousands of Olmaks and from the look on his face, he couldn't have a better life. Kulta wanted the element of surprise, so he tried to play nice until he got the information he needed. "Where am I?" he decided to ask first. "Well your in my place, thats where" Ekimu said in an especially carefree voice that you wouldn't expect from a guy like Ekimu. "Okay, so whats this?" Kulta asked as he picked up an Olmak. "That, my skeletal friend, is a kanohi Olmak, mask of dimensional gates. It lets you traverse different dimensions". And Kulta decided to ask one more question just to be safe,"What's that your wearing on your face?" he asked pointing to Ekimu's mask."This" he said, pointing to his mask, "Is the Mask of Creation, it lets me make all these masks" he said gesturing to the piles of Olmaks everywhere, "Its got tons of other powers but I have no need for them" he said right before he was grabbed in the face by Kulta,"Woah man, what're you doing!" Ekimu said as Kulta tightened his grip on the mask. "I plan on making use of those 'other powers'". No sooner had Kulta said that, he tore the mask off of Ekimu's face, letting him collapse to the floor. Kulta placed an Olmak on his face and was about to leave, but then he turned around and said, "I don't think anyone will miss you", he then nicked a pile of Olmaks with his toe and watched it come crashing down on Ekimu's unconscious body. Then, he opened a portal, and left. When Kulta emerged on the other side, he saw a village. This village was inhabited by a bunch of short people who were running away, in fear of him. I just got here and everyone's already scared of me Kulta thought to himself. He went to look around. By now, all the "shorties" had fled. All he could find were some sheep, some pigs, a river, some goats, and a bunch of small things that must have belonged to the shorties. While he was looking, he managed to find one of the hiding shorties and grabbed him in his hand before he could run away again. "What are you, and where am I ?!" Kulta yelled in the shorty's face." I-I'm a hobbit, a halfling, and th-this i-is H-Hobbiton" the hobbit said squeamishly "M-might I a-ask who y-you are?" the hobbit asked "I am Kulta, the skull grinder. You wouldn't know who I am, I come from a very different place, somewhere you couldn't possibly know about" Kulta said calmly. "You wouldn't happen to know about any, beings of great power, would you?" Kulta asked the "hobbit". "W-well, there w-was once a being named S-Sauron and his servant, S-Saruman, they ruled the o-orcs, r-ringwraiths, a-and n-nazgul" the hobbit said. "Hmm, alright then, thanks" Kulta said as he placed the Mask of Creation on his face and set the hobbit down. As much as he wanted to flee, the hobbit knew he had to find out what this stranger was up to. "W-what's that mask for?" the hobbit asked. "Your quite brave to stay and ask that. Very well, I will show you" Kulta said. No sooner had Kulta said that, he began to channel the power of his mask. The ground shook as enemies from the past began to surface from the ground as skeletons and zombies. Cave trolls, orcs, nazgul, uruk-hai, wargs, mumakil, even the balrog and smaug were there to bend to Kulta's will. And amongst all these horribly disgusting creatures stood, the very imposing, Sauron (accompanied by the not zombified Saruman). Saruman's not a zombie because the power of the Mask of Creation mixed with Saruman's magic managed to revitalize his body, making him young and strong again. "So I guess these are the powerful beings you were speaking of?" Kulta said to the hobbit. The hobbit was to struck with fear to speak or move. "Must've caught him off guard" Kulta said to himself before he walked through the undead army to speak with Sauron & Saruman. "So you brought us back to life to help you in your conquest of evil?" Saruman asked. "Actually, I figured I'd bring you back to life and help YOU in YOUR conquest of evil, then you could help me help Makuta to get rid of the toa and get revenge on Ekimu" Kulta replied. "If your mask could bring all of us back to life, then do you think that you could bring back, THE RING?" Sauron asked gravely. "Sure, no problem" Kulta said plainly. "If you give me the ring and help me to take over Middle-Earth, we will help you with whatever it is you need us for" Sauron said. "Alright, let me just get MY army" Kulta said before he used his Olmak to bring his skull army into Middle-Earth "If we combine our armies, there's no doubt that we, I mean you, can take over Middle-Earth" Kulta said confidently before he used the mask of creation to bring forth, The Ring. At that moment, the Brutaka from earlier came through a dimensional gate leading to Middle-Earth saying to himself, "Okoto sure is fascinating" but then Brutaka looked up, not only to find that he was in Middle-Earth, but that there was an undead army standing before him. Luckily no one noticed him yet so he found a place to hide, with some hobbits already in it, so he had to shush them so they didn't blow his cover. He managed to stay hidden long enough to realize what was going on so he could report back to his dimension. When the coast was clear, Brutaka went back to his dimension to report to the rulers of his kingdom: Turaga Takanuva, Toa Helryx, and Voporak. Once he told them what had happened, they gave him a new mission, to gather people from different dimensions to stop the combined armies of Kulta and Sauron.
  3. So it just dawned on me, but what characters would you like to see face off against each other in a fictional crossover battle? After watching a Mugen Fighter mod face off as a demonstration (said character being Toriel, though TBH it wasn't as accurate as I expected it to be) it got me thinking this, what characters would be good candidates to battle one another fairly. Personally I can see my two idol characters face off against each other, those being Tahu Mata and Toriel (speak of the devil), grant it with a bit of stretched margin, i.e Toriel having illusionary based magic attacks, and being able to do things like summon fire rain or something of the sort. And Tahu Mata of course having all his powers, such as great strength, being able to summon fireballs and throw fire akin to a flamethrower for a duration of time. And Toriel being able to do much the same, hence why I think they'd be good opponents to fight one another. They both have the same basic powers, and personally I'd think they'd both be quite strong. To extend this, we know that Toa of Fire all have the same base powers, that being damaging Fireballs, and Knockback Fireballs, as well as the ability to throw fire. In short, they both have the same base attacks, but have differing special abilities, they are potentially good opponents to face off against each other. Tahu having combo abilities such as maybe an in-air fireslash ability, a small novablast ability, and being able to use his Kanohi to aid him in battle. Toriel having some illusionary based abilities, such as being able to summon static clones of herself akin to one of Zaktan's abilities, which said ability was demonstrated in BIONICLE Heroes GBA, it essentially leaves a static copy which you have to guess or watch carefully to see which one is the real one, I could see her being able to summon two of these static copies, and having the ability to maybe teleport around or turn invisible and leaving a static copy in the players way akin to the last power described, also having the ability to heal herself momentarily. Hey, if Tahu can have cheep abilities, why not her have one? So what other character crossover battles do you think would work?
  4. 'Ello there I made another drawing. Well, it's more like a WIP but I don't know when I'll get the chance to finish it. As always, click the thumbnail Click here for Takanuva only, without the background. I must say I'm enjoying making random crossovers with Takanuva. The best part is that he did travel across dimensions for a while
  5. Which fictional story/stories do you think could theoretically take place in the same universe as Bionicle? (G1 or G2) Note that this is not asking so much about the practicality of making a crossover episode/story from the authors'/creators' point of view, nor about similarity of the plot or style, but rather which fictional universes have rules or lore that seem consistent with how things work in Bionicle, so that the two stories could theoretically take place in different parts of the same reality. I was watching Steven Universe recently, and started to think that a species like the Gems could very easily exist somewhere in the G1 cosmos (not inside the MU, but perhaps elsewhere.) After all, in Bionicle, rocks seem to be the go-to item for storing immense amounts of power (Toa Stones, Nui Stone, etc), Mutran proved that they can be given sentience, and there is certainly a precedent for beings whose consciousness is contained in a small item but have the ability to create physical bodies for themselves (Ignika, Mata Nui) as well as for creating solid constructs out of light (Solek's power). (I also started thinking that, given that the Gems appear to be purpose-built inorganic lifeforms that require technology to reproduce, it's clear that this is not a species that came into existence by accident- they must have been created artificially by another species... a species suspiciously similar to the Great Beings, perhaps? But that's probably taking things a bit too far...) And yes, it sounds cracky, as I expect a lot of posts in this topic will, but, hey, just remember that most Tarantino films canonically take place in the same continuity as Spy Kids. Nothing is impossible in the world of fiction. Which other existing stories do you think could have happened within the Bionicle universe?
  6. Hey! It's a crossover and it's not about TRON! When I was a child I was really obsessed with Super Sayans from Dragon Ball. I wanted to see a Super Sayan version of everything. A couple of days ago I was thinking that Takanuva is the only Toa who might have a golden aura like them... Then this happened. <-- CLICK ME! I tried to give the armor a Dragon Ball feel. Comments are very welcome, please let me know what you think!

So here's the discussion topic for Lord Of The Bionicle: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/22081-lord-of-the-bionicle/. Not much more to it.
  8. PREVIOUSLY ON BIONICLE X NINJAGO MAFIA (credit to art in banner goes to TBK, may his presence on BZPower rest in peace) WORLDS CLASHED IN AN EPIC STRUGGLE! Precisely two years ago, a planet warped into the sky above the World of Mafia and subsequently crashed into the plains of the infamous Desolation. This mysterious planet spewed forth alien figures and structures across the globe, all somehow related to ninjas. These menacing figures claimed themselves to be of ‘Ninjago’, a mystical realm filled with ninjas, robots, magic powers, and chefs. Among other things. The world of Bionicle Mafia was in danger, and had to be saved from the wicked Ninjago! Thankfully, the elite taskforce sent by Bionicle was able to easily take down the not-so-equally elite taskforce sent by Ninjago. With only a single so-called “survivor” for the Ninjago side (although really, we all know they died), Bionicle has been able to rest easy. --- So read the headlines a week ago; but it has become clear that Ninjago was not defeated, and merely awaiting the perfect chance to strike back against the Bionicle Mafia crew. Their force is smaller this time, designed for infiltrating the Bionicle ranks and performing a stealthy takedown as opposed to the even odds of their last confrontation. Deciding on some sort of poetic justice, the battleground decided for this conflict is the same town as before – not that this town has been named yet. Voltex might be a bit lazy in that regard. Let the defense / infiltration begin! --- A mysterious figure has appeared in town, and their purposes are unknown…. RULES 1-Vote changes are not permitted. 2-All BZP Rules Apply. 3-Once killed, players can no longer have an impact on the game. 4-Role revealing is not allowed. ROLES BIONICLE Matoran x12 – Regular players, who vote on who to lynch each day. Detective x1 – Investigates a player each night to determine their role. Medic x1 – Targets a player each night to protect them from death. Pyro x1 – Targets two players each night to kill; the one who dies is determined by RNG. The Shadowed One x1 – Leader of the Dark Hunters. Can swap two players each night, possibly altering targets. Dark Hunters x2 – Regular players. If the Shadowed One dies, one of these players becomes the new Shadowed One. NINJAGO Sensei Wu x1 – Leader of Ninjago. Decides who to send and who to kill each night. If sent to kill, can protect one other member of Ninjago from the lynching that round. Nya x1 – The Water Ninja. She can investigate a player each night to determine their role; if she discovers the Pyro, the Pyro is slain instantly. She is also immune to the Pyro’s fire, and as such, cannot be killed by them. Skylor x1 – The Amber Ninja. She can capture a player each night, rendering them unable to use their role ability if they have one. She is immune to the Detective, and as such, shows up as a regular Matoran to them. Lloyd Garmadon x1 – The Green Ninja. Takes command of Ninjago if Sensei Wu is killed. When sent, can kill two players during the night instead of one. Final Ninja x1 – The Final Ninja. As the only survivor of the original battle between Bionicle and Ninjago, the Final Ninja is partially immune to the lynching; they can only be slain at night or if lynched twice in a row. Precisely 26 hours, 32 minutes, and 49 seconds ago (we lost the smaller increments of time in a data loss that followed the recording, unfortunately), a planet warped into the sky above the World of Mafia and subsequently crashed into the plains of the infamous Desolation, spewing forth alien figures and structures across the globe! These menacing figures claim themselves to be of ‘Ninjago’, a mystical realm filled with ninjas, robots, magic powers, and chefs. The world of Bionicle Mafia is in danger! It must be defended from the wicked Ninjago! An elite team has been put together to defend Bionicle Mafia from the intruders, to combat an elite attacking force of the same size! 15. The Legend of Sparta Nui Prologue In a time before classical times, there was a island called Sparta Nui where many millions of Matoran and Toa lived together in peace and harmony. But that all had changed when Piorisia another neighboring island nearby launched and invasion on two coastal city-states in Sparta Nui. This led to war between the two countries and since then it has still been going on for now about 100 years. Chapter 1 "Is there ever a day" said the Toa Daemos who was a welder of a battle axe and welder of ice powers, "when there isn't a group of Piorisians coming after us?" he asked as he sat down at the campfire that stood in front of him as the flames gave off smoke. "I am afraid not, my comrade." said Toa Hethens who was a welder of a metal spear and welder of magnetic powers. He was a warrior of the element of Magnetism serving for his kingdom of Sparta Nui. "Well as long you keep killing them Piorisians we will have no problems..." said Toa Rho, who welded the power of being able to control gravity. He also always carried around an copper sword with him as well. Then the hooded figure then stood up from his seat on the log the team was sitting on. He stood up and then put down his hood of his cloak and his red cape blew in the breeze of wind. He was a Toa of Stone, and he was most famous known Toa of all of Sparta Nui, Toa Arthymos. "Men, tomorrow we head to the city of Deltamos, there we will convince the city leaders to aid us in our war against the Piorisians. We shall get some rest now, because tomorrow will be a big day and long travel." That being said the Toas go to sleep and are already prepared for tomorrow's journey. Chapter 2 After the last's night sleep, the Toa wake up at sunrise in the crack of dawn. They then get their armor, helmets, weapons and shields along with other important belongings with them. The four Toa begin to set forth to the city-state of Deltamos by travelling on foot across the arid terrain they are in. They maybe many dangers awaiting them before they reach Deltamos for all we know. But hopefully our heroes will know what do in dangerous situations. As Arthymos walked in front of everyone else, his comrade Rho the Toa of Gravity walked beside him. "So how long until we reach Deltamos?" Rho asked Arthymos as he kept his eyes on what was in front of him. Just in case anything out of nowhere bad happens. "We will perhaps reach Deltamos in two hours if not perhaps three hours then, it all depends on if something or someone attacks us during the way there." he replied. As that being said, Rho then kept silent but still walked beside his leader Arthymos to be sure he will be right beside him when they arrive to Deltamos. While Hethens and Daemos were walking and sweating in the intense desert heat. Suddenly out of nowhere a wild Rahi appears by trying to attack Arthymos with it's venomous stinger tail. But Arthymos luckily had reacted in quick time to use his shield to protect himself from getting hit by the stinger tail. Then suddenly all four of them begin to fight the wild creature as they surround it. The Rahi gets confused and then tries to hit them all with it tail, but it fails doing so by confusion. The four then butcher the Rahi with their weapons to the point the creature is butchered alive. After that the four Toa then continue on forth to Deltamos as the dying Rahi lays on the arid ground and eventually dies from bleeding out of it's arteries. "We have finally arrived to Deltamos." exclaimed Hethens as he was already wiped out from all that long walking on foot. It took them like Arthymos had said three hours due to them all being attacked by a Rahi. A native Matoran to the city walks up to them and greets them. "Welcome to the City-State of Deltamos, what can I do for you?" the little Matoran asked them. Arthymos then stood out in front of the Matoran and said, "Would you kindly take us to your leader of your city?" he asked him. "But the leader of Deltamos doesn't like to get foreign visitors nor does he like to see them..." The Matoran then replied. "Well this is urgent, and we need to speak with him now!" Arthymos then said in a low tone of voice. "Alright fine, right this way..." the Matoran then said to them four as it led them to the city palace in the center of the city. End of Chapter 2 Chapter 3 The four Toa then arrive at the steps of the city palace of Deltamo's leader. They are then brought to the leader by two armed guards who held metal spears and wore metal silver helmets. They then glanced at the leader who had sat in a chair made out of concrete and he was a Turaga of Fire. The Turaga looked upon the four visitors and wondered what they are here for exactly. "What do you visitors need? It better be something important..." the old Turage of Fire said as he sat in his chair. "We four Toa have came all the way from the city-state of Ames and we have recently been attacked by the Piorisians two months ago which lead to our city being in a ruined economy." Arthymos said as he stood in front of the rest of the three. "And your point is? Go on I'm listening..." the Turaga said impatiently. "We would like your city-state of Deltamos to ally with our city-state of Ames so we can together form a united army of Toa and kick Piorisian butt." the Toa of Fire then said to the elder Turaga of Fire. The Turaga stood there for a moment and thought about it, and then made up his mind. "Alright we will aid you in war against Piorisia, we will send you at least 500 Toa warriors to help aid your city against the Piorisians." The Turaga then said in a low voice. "Thank you sir." Arthymos said to the Turaga of Fire, and then the Turaga said, "Guards lead the four travellers back to the entrance, and also SOMEONE GET ME SOME CHILI PEPPERS WITH SPICE IN THEM!" the Turaga ordered. The four Toa are then led out by the two armed guards and then the four of them travel around the city to search for some more comrades to join them in the quest to defeat the Piorisians. End of Chapter 3
  16. Ah.... Nuclear weapons... What a horrible invention. Who was thinking of how much lives will be lost in a nuclear war? Nobody, nobody not even the Great Spirit Mata Nui himself had thought about the effects it would cause. But then again how was our country the United States of Metru Nui going to win the war against Daxia? Just only two nuclear warheads we the Metru Nui military dropped on the two Daxian cities of Tridax and Biliah and the next day the Makuta of Daxia finally surrendered and the war was over. Or so we thought... By the 1950's our former ally Xia, betrayed us. The country of their's fell under the hand's of communism, all because the Xian Nationalists lost the Xian Civil War to the Xian Communist Army. War was not over, it was just the beginning of yet another war, a cold war. Meanwhile the United States of Metru Nui became ever so powerful than we had thought, Ga Metru, Le Metru, Ta Metru, Ko Metru, Po Metru, and Onu Metru all were now just districts for Metru Nui, or should I say the 6 Districts of Metru Nui. The flag of Metru Nui has also changed as well, our former once beautiful flag was also changed to a new one. A new flag I simply just hate the looks of... No major wars broke out in the remaining 20th century, nor did any major wars had broken out in the early 21st century. It was just until 2052, that the Toa Commonwealth raged war upon the Southern Islands for their Protodermis. The Toa Commonwealth was dealing with high prices for Protodermis and were also running dry in Mata Nui and Protodermis was beginning to decline in Mata Nui. This thus began the Resource Wars between the Toas and the Southern Islanders. The United States of Metru Nui on the other hand had remained out of the conflict going on between Mata Nui and the Southern Islands. Since Metru Nui mostly gotten its Protodermis from Onu Metru or now simply called the "Onu District". However that didn't lasted long either, because by the end of 2052, Onu Metru's protodermis fields were now beginning to become dry. The United States of Metru Nui needed to get new protodermis from somewhere else fast. The government of Metru Nui then looked towards Ko Metru, due it's massive stored amounts of protodermis located there. That when the military of Xia than invaded Ko Metru in 2059. They too need protodermis and were greedy enough to take it by force from the people of Metru Nui. Protodermis was also being made from Voya Nui and thus this made people of Metru Nui begin to call Voya Nui as "Little Metru Nui". Which didn't made the Matoran of Voya Nui happy and food riots increased there. And eventually by 2064, Voya Nui decided to become uncooperative with United States of Metru Nui and discontinued sending us protodermis. This just in return made it worse... When Voya Nui had stopped sending protodermis to Metru Nui, that in return made the United States of Metru Nui then declaring war upon Voya Nui for its Protodermis. Thus Voya Nui was invaded by the Toas from Metru Nui and the Matoran of Voya Nui reacted by protesting, or rebelling against Metru Nui. This made the Toas kill any protesters or rebels of Voya Nui on sight. Which ended in Metru Nui then annexing all of Voya Nui. By 2077, the Toa of Metru Nui had successfully retaken Ko Metru from the Xians. Everyone then thought the war was finally over... But we were still wrong. The Turaga of Metru Nui fled to Bara Magna and abandoned his own country and people. Many Matorans of Metru Nui ignored the alarms and sirens that were going off, which meant that Xia was soon going to nuke us. The 20 Vaults stored deep within the Archives of Metru Nui were sealed shut protecting the Matoran, or Toa inside them for decades to come. And I myself, was one of them who was survivor of the Vaults. War... War never changes...
  17. All reviews for "A New Team in Town" shall go here!
  18. Review Topic is here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/12710-review-topic-a-new-team-in-town/ Had this idea for a while now, and while I DO wish the first chapter would've turned out longer, I'm still proud of how it turned out. Chapter 1: A Week of Stolen Pride Rain. Why is it ALWAYS raining during our heists lately?! These were the thoughts of the middle-aged robber who found himself fleeing through the streets with his rookie companion, Tommy. And it was true - every time they did a heist, the skies would be clear and calm to start with, then, as soon as they got their hands on the moola, boom. The sky would immediately start throwing swearwords at them in the form of torrential downpours, wind, and, on one occasion, lightning that seemed to follow them! It was enough to shake up just about any burglar of any caliber! The duo decided they’d be best sticking to the rooftops, and quickly sprinted up a fire escape on an abandoned building. The senior of the two hated to admit it, but he, for once in his life, was afraid. Every night this week, his and Tommy’s luck had been all but nonexistent, always resulting in having to leave whatever they were stealing and lose a few more years off their life as they barely managed to escape the jaws of the law. Tommy was afraid, too, he could tell - the kid’s eyes were constantly darting all about in paranoia when he stood still, and he could tell no sleep had been achieved by the youngster over these past few nights. Even now, his actions were nothing but a frantic mantra as they fled to their safe house: ten steps, big step, jump, land, ten steps, big step, jump, land…. He refused to look behind him, refused to think anything but those words. His will was broken, however, as his gaze caught upon a wet patch of ice on the upcoming roof-edge, and all thoughts became one: crud. There was no time to break the chant his body had begun, and he could only brace himself for pain as he and his junior both slipped on the out-of-place frost, as they respectively grabbed a fire escape and the next building’s edge. The older robber’s thoughts were racing now: Where had that ice come from? How could they possibly get out of this? And then, to top it all off, a pale hand yanked Tommy onto the roof above. The very next sound he heard were the rookie’s panicked screams. Everything Tommy said came to him as no more than blubbering gibberish, the sounds of a young kid met with an appalling foe. Heck, he could just barely make out a few pleas for mercy, even! Then he went silent… and a muffled thump could be heard. Who’s up there?! What’ve they done to Tommy - heck, what’ll they do to ME?! He was so engulfed in panic that he completely failed to notice a dark figure descending to hover behind him - that is, until the figure grabbed him by the back of the shirt and hoisted him onto the rooftop of his focus. As soon as he landed, he glimpsed a group of colorful, tall figures, and immediately began shooting with the pistol that had miraculously not escaped his grip this whole time. But just as he felt a sense of hope as he saw the figures being forced to dodge his bullets, he felt fingers press expertly at the back of his neck, and everything went dark as he joined Tommy on the ground. He woke again to find himself and Tommy frozen to a streetlight right across the street from the place they’d robbed, police surrounding them and deciding how to free them. •••••••• Some many feet below them, in the labyrinth of New York’s sewers, four brothers had caught wind of the robbery… but not of the arrest. Three of the four masked anthropomorphic turtles were standing in front of a large computer console, shifting on their feet with excitement. The fourth was rapidly typing in a frantic effort to locate the blip on their radar - the radar that told them where and when the city above needed them. “C’mon, Donny, ya gotta be quicker than this!” the red-masked one exclaimed. “The last thing we want is someone else doing our job before us for the seventh night this week!” “Raph, calm down! Putting more pressure on Donatello isn’t going to help!” his blue-masked brother scolded. “But Leo, Raph has a point! What’s the use of always searching if someone else will get all the glory anyway!?” the orange-masked one whined. Leonardo would have replied wisely to Mikey, but at that moment, Donatello let out a happy “Aha!” and pulled up a map of the route they’d need to take. He spun around in his chair to face them, only to find that they were already rushing towards the exit, leaving him to follow after as quickly as he could. As per the recent usual, it was raining in the city above, yet the group remained unfazed by this. After all, they were trained in the ways of the ninja, and who ever heard of a ninja who let a little rain get in their way? Instead, the group laughed, happy to finally have an excuse to leave the sewers again and kick some butt. They needed no map or GPS - this city was their city, and they might as well have had its map tattooed into their brains with how well they knew it. Unfortunately, it seemed that someone else knew it better. When they arrived at the robbed store, they saw that the two robbers had been frozen to the adjacent streetlight, the police already beginning to break them out of the ice, and the stolen property all returned to the little store. “AGAIN?! Every night for a WEEK this has happened! Who the heck’s trying to steal our job?! And HOW are they doing it?!” Raph griped loudly, head in his hands. “ Why the heck are we even BOTHERING to come out, anyway? At this rate, we might as well just hang up our masks and weapons and put our hopes and dreams out of their misery…” Michaelangelo sighed. However, Leonardo had let his brothers’ voices fade into the background. His eyes had caught several glints of light on metal from the nearby rooftops. Not just from air conditioning systems, either. No… these glints were moving. He watched for a few seconds longer, letting the glints reveal the forms of six rather tall humanoid figures jumping from one building to the next over and over again. And they weren’t just “taller than most humans” tall. These figures were “taller than ANY human” tall, at heights averaging about seven feet. The differing colors of the figures intrigued him, as did the fact that they appeared heavily armored. Their heads, or, at least, what he could see of them, seemed to be shaped so strangely. As he watched, though, yet another confusing event occurred. One of the figures seemed to feel his gaze on it, for it turned to look in the turtles’ direction… and he saw that its eyes glowed. It wasn’t a mere trick of the light - couldn’t be. That was by no means light simply being reflected, as often happened with the eyes of cats. These had their own light, brilliant gold-green light from the figure’s pupils that seemed to judge him as the figure met his gaze. What the heck were these figures? Why were they here, and how? After what seemed like hours, the stare-off between himself and one of them ended as the figure shifted his or her gaze away and followed its companions into the night. He was brought back to the present as Raph shook his shoulder, grabbing his attention. “Leo? Leo?! What’re you starin’ at? What is it?” “…Oh, nothing, just… thought I saw something.” Raph could tell his brother really had seen something, but knew better than to inquire about it now. Instead, he gestured with his head to their purple-masked brother, saying, “C’mon. Donny wants to get a sample of the ice that had those guys trapped against the lamppost. He needs us to cover for him.” A few smoke-pellets and one quick getaway later, the four brothers were heading home.
  19. As a comedy writer, I have had a very, very, very large number of comedies that die out of lack of personal interest, or just because nobody reads them. In fact, I have written somewhere around 20 comedies and I can count on one hand the amount of them that actually went anywhere. Why do I keep on writing these literary trainwrecks? Because I am waaaaaay too stubborn to quit. Also, it’s fun. Anyways, I got my first real comedy kick from the contest where you had to write about three Matoran, a bucket, and a Manas. Guess what I named my entry. It was my first attempt at writing a ‘real’ comedy, so to speak, and it actually turned out fairly well. Well enough, in fact, to receive an honorable mention in the results. That was a few years ago, AKA one of the very few times the comedy forum has had a contest. (While I’ve been here.) After finding out that this contest included pretty much everything on the forums, including comedies, I decided to write a comedy about my favorite characters from my works coming together in one big fat trainwreck story. So, here it is, the story absolutely none of you have been waiting for: KFRD’sC-Squad---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *Scene cuts to a white room with smooth walls and floor, with the only decoration being a window, a door, a piano, and a mini-fridge. Multiple persons are present.* KFRD: *Holds up checklist* “Okay, everybody, one last roll call to make sure everyone’s here. Myself and Lewa from Bionicles + Me = Craziness are already checked off. Vezon, from the ‘Vezon Gets’ series?” Vezon: *Pulls out chain gun* “Thought you would never ask!” KFRD: “Ooookay. Ab, Mu, and Stro from Three Matoran, a Bucket, and a Manas?” Stro: “Present.” KFRD: “And last but not least, Skirmix from The Skirmix Show?” Skrimix: “Right over here, chief!” KFRD: “Wait a second, Skirmix? Where did you come from?” Skirmix: “Well, I’m afraid the full details would be a little too non-PC, but when a mother Skrimix and a father Skirmix love each other very much-” KFRD: “I meant, how did you get HERE? Like, in THIS ROOM.” Skirmix: “Oh.” KFRD: “The door is built to fit a regular human. I mean, come on, Vezon’s only about 7 feet tall, and he still hit his head carrying in that mini-fridge. Speaking of which, what is that thing for? There aren’t any plugs in here.” Vezon: “Well, DUUUH, how else do you think I got Skrimix in here?” KFRD: “……..” Vezon: *Blinks to the tune of ‘The Entertainer’* KFRD: “It’s not even worth questioning anymore, is it?” Lewa: “You’ve been writing for how long and you still haven’t figured this out?” Stro: “Pointless jokes aside, why are we here to begin with?” KFRD: “Well, BZPower is having a contest where you do something that involves Titans fighting Monsters for control of BZKoro for a chance to win prizes and such. Aaaand since I’ve heard some nut job called Dr. Generico is creating evil monsters on his private island of privateness, I figured we’d go beat them up.” Stro: “Hold on a second, wouldn’t that make US the Titans? We're not THAT big!” KFRD: “They’re very small evil monsters.” Stro: “Okay, fair enough, but why has nobody else noticed this already? I mean, you’d think that SOMEONE might take some concern to this!” KFRD: “Well, all of the normal heroes are…” Justice League Headquarters: Superman: “Hey, Batman, do you think we should do something about those tiny monsters that one guy is making?” Batman: “Nah, my schedule’s already booked with being dark and gloomy.” Wonder Woman: “Hey, maybe we could send Aquaman.” Aquaman: “We could use whales, you guys! Whales!” Back in the white room: KFRD: “Already occupied.” Vezon: “Well, that just about covers everything. Everybody onto Skirmix!” Skirmix: “What?” Vezon: “How else would we get to an island in the middle of the ocean?” Skirmix: “You DO know I can’t fly, right? How am I supposed to get there?” Vezon: “With the power of the segue!” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KFRD: “Segue; to make a smooth, almost imperceptible transition from one state, subject, or situation to another.” Vezon: “Blah, blah, blah, we’re here!” *Scene pans to show the rest of the island, which is actually fairly barren and rocky* Ab: “Hey, what’s with the not-so-tropical paradise here?” KFRD: “It’s probably a fairly new island, so plant life hasn’t had much time to grow.” Mysterious Booming Voice: “WHAT THE-HOW DID YOU FIND MY ULTRA SECRET PRIVATE ISLAND OF PRIVATENESS?!” Lewa: “Actually, we just landed on a random island and hoped you would be on it. Honestly, we had no idea you were here until you spoke up. Who are you, anyway?” Vezon: “Are you serious? It’s obviously Dr. Phil! I hear his voice in my head all the time!” Mysterious Booming Voice: “Actually, I’m Dr. Generico! I shall take over this world using my tiny monsters, and crush all those who oppose me!” Lewa: “Well, in that case, we’ll just be leaving! Good day to you sir!” KFRD: “Lewa!” Dr. Generico: “I’m afraid it won’t be that easy! After you cleverly coerced me into revealing my secret plan of secretness, you’ll just have to be the first witnesses of my creations! Behold! The tiny monsters of doom!” Ab: “Say, how are you speaking to us right now? I don’t see any speakers or anything.” Dr. Generico: “I placed all the speakers underground because some teenagers would drive by every night and slap the sound system. It was very annoying!” Ab: “Oh, okay.” Vezon: “Alrighty then, Mister Doctor! I’m afraid you’ve forced my hand! I came here to kick butt and chew bubblegum! And I’m all out of bubblegum!” [awkward transition]-------------------------------------------------[/awkwardtransition] *Cut to Skrimix carrying everybody towards the center of the island* Lewa: “Why are we going to the center of the island, again?” Stro: “I’m guessing it’s because where most villains hide their lairs.” KFRD: “Actually, I just felt like it. Now that you mention it though, Dr. Generico IS probably in the center of the island.” Ab: “Incoming!” *Cue shot of hordes of tiny monsters rising up from the ground of the plains and making a beeline for the group* Vezon: “You know, we’re on a biomechanical Tyrannosaurus Rex, about to fight a giant army of monsters, on a secret private island of privateness. I can only think of one thing this scene needs to be even more amazingly awesome.” Skirmix: “Oh? And what exactly would that be?” *Vezon pull out 20 machine guns, lights them on fire, stuffs them into a bazooka, lights THAT on fire, and then loads it into a giant cannon he pulls out of his ear, holds it on his shoulder, and rests his finger on the trigger* Vezon: “Needs more Dakka.” *Pulls trigger* *Giant explosion hit’s the tiny monster horde, destroying a giant chunk of it; however, they instantly respawn* Lewa: “GAH! Run the other way! Run the other way! Every incredibly amazing looking Bionicle set for themselves!” KFRD: “Oh, no you don’t! You have to stay here with the rest of us! I have a plan!” Lewa: “What plan?!” KFRD: “Skirmix, do you think you can get us to that dome-shaped building we forgot to mention earlier?” Skirmix: “Sorry, but I can either take you there or fight off these things. I can’t do both!” KFRD: “Okay, then Ab, do you think you can throw Lewa, Stro, Mu, and I into the dome?” Ab: “Don’t be ridiculous, KFRD! Of course I can!” KFRD: “Well, then what are you waiting for? We aren’t getting any younger!” Ab: “Are you sure it’s a good idea to leave Skirmix with us? I mean, Vezon’s a Skakdi and I’m ultra-strong, but he’s just a talk show host!” Skirmix: “Are you kidding me? I’m a giant biomechanical T-Rex with a stinger tail and humongous teeth! Pretty much the only part of me that can’t hurt people very well is my little arms! Now give me a gun, so that I may hurt people with my little arms!” Vezon: *Gives Skirmix an AK-47* “Here you go!” KFRD: “I think that takes care of that. Now, throw us into that building!" Ab: “Okay then, here we go!” *Ab picks up Lewa, Mu, Stro, and KFRD, and tosses them into the building* Ab: “Okay then, let’s do this thing!” *The horde and Ab, Skirmix and Vezon run towards each other* Vezon: *Holds up hand.* “WAAAAIIT!” *Both groups pause as Vezon searches through his pockets and pulls out a small stick of something* Vezon: “Yes! Found my bubblegum! Sorry guys, but you’re on your own now. As you were.” *Vezon flies away and the groups start running towards each other again* ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IN THE DOME: KFRD: “Okay, I think the monster-making machine should be right down this hallway.” *Cue shot of hallway covered in signs saying ‘Monster Making Machine This Way -►’* Lewa: “Gee, what tipped you off?” Dr. Generico: “So, you found my secret base, did you? Well, now that you’re here, you must face the terror of my PILLOW NINJA RAHI! BWAHAHAHAHA!” *A panel opens up to reveal an Ash Bear sitting upright eating popcorn out of a bucket.* Ash Bear: “Hey, it’s Mu and Stro! What have you guys been up to lately?” Stro: “Eh, nothing much, really.” Ash Bear: “Yeah, same here.” Dr. Generico: “WHAT?! Where are my Pillow Ninja Rahi?! Where did this bear come from?!” Ash Bear: “Sorry, I got hungry and I ate the rahi I found in here. Was I not supposed to do that?” Dr. Generico: “Darn it! I knew I should have prepared more than one booby trap!” Lewa: “Ha! You said ‘trap!’” Dr. Generico: “Oh well, I suppose it doesn’t matter, you’ll never find me, and I’m the only one who can turn the machine off!” KFRD: “Like Karzahni we won’t!” Dr. Generico: “Oh, please! You’ll never think to look under the kitchen sink, pull the lever, go down the trapdoor, enter the passcode ‘1234’ into my high-tech security system, scan your eyes on the toilet seat I have hanging on the wall, and go through the energy wall! NEVER! BWAHAHAHAHA!” 10 Seconds Later: Dr. Generico: “How on Earth did you find me?!” KFRD: “The jig is up, Generico! You’re coming with us!” Dr. Generico: “As if! This human suit is only a costume! Underneath it, I am a vastly superior being compared to any of you! And now, to reveal my true self!” *Pulls off suit* KFRD: “Ratty from The Skirmix Show?! I thought you weren't evil!” Dr. Generico: “What? How did this costume get on me? Anyhow, no, I am NOT Ratty from The Skirmix Show! I am…” *Pulls off costume* KFRD: *Gasp!* Lewa: *Gasp!* Stro *Gasp!* Mu: *….!* KFRD: “You’re…” Stro: “You’re…” Dr. Generico: “Yes, it is I, Tree #47 from Three Matoran, a Bucket, and a Manas! BWAHAHAHAHA!” Lewa: “But…but why?!” Tree #47: “I never got any jokes, or praise, or importance. I was just a prop, something shamefully shoved into the background while the real action takes place up front. I wanted to be a main character for once, and you know what? It WORKED!” KFRD: “Good for you. How do we stop the machine?” Tree #47: “Oh, all you need to do is deliver a large jolt of electricity to it.” Lewa: “Oh, is that ALL we need to do? Because last I checked, none of us thought to bring a FREAKING GAS GENERATOR TO THIS NUI-FORSAKEN PILE OF ROCK!” Stro: “Calm down, Lewa. I know how to get a large jolt of electricity to the machine, whether or not any this method of shutting something down makes any sense whatsoever.” Lewa: “Well then, to the machine room!” --------------------Dananananananasnananananananana Segue!-------------------------- KFRD: “Okay, we’re in the machine room. Now what?” Stro: “Here, give Mu this Thunderstone.” *Hands Thunderstone to KFRD* KFRD: “Why?” Stro: “Just do it, okay?” KFRD: “Fine, fine.” *Throws Thunderstone over to Mu* “Here, take this.” Mu: “…..!” What?PikaMu is evolving! Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun duuuh dun dun dun dun dun dun duuuh duuh Do-da-le-do! Congratulations! Your PikaMu has evolved into RaiMu! Lewa: “…You do realize that if we don’t make it out of here, you deserve to die just for that pun, right?” KFRD: “Toootally worth it.” Stro: “Okay, then! RaiMu, use Thunder on the machine!” RaiMu: “Rai!” *Electrocutes machine with HOLY MATA NUI THE LIGHTNING BOLT IS BLINDING OH MY EYES WHYYYYYY* Tree #47: “And with that, the tiny monsters shall disappear forever!” Stro: “Uh…why?” Tree #47: “Because the machine that create them is destroyed!” Stro: “You know, the laws of physics dictate that an object that exists tends to still exist even when you’re not looking or interacting with it.” Tree #47: “So?” Stro: “So, why would destroying the creator destroy the creations? Is that like if I burned down Apple Headquarters, all Macs would cease to exist?” Tree #47: “You know, I never thought of it that way.” Stro: “Well, obviously we should-” Tree #47: “Burn down Apple Headquarters!” Stro: “Oh, for the love of…” ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OUTSIDE Ab: “Hey, look! The tiny monsters stopped respawning!” Skirmix: “True, but we still have roughly a gajillion left to go through, and I’m running out of ammo!” KFRD: “Hey, guys!” *KFRD, Lewa, Stro, Mu, and Tree #47 run towards Ab and Skirmix, squashing monsters as they go* Ab: “Looks like we just got backup!” Lewa: “Um, where’s Vezon?” Skirmix: “Oh, he found his gum and left.” Lewa: “You’ve gotta be kidding me! He had the best weapons!” Skirmix: “True, but at least these things are small enough to deal with, to a point. Say, who’s that you have there?” Stro: “Tree #47. He’s the guy who made these things.” Skirmix: “How? He has no arms! Or legs! Or any other appendages! He’s a plant!” Tree #47: “You say that like it’s a bad thing.” Ab: “If you created these things, I have a question for you; why did you make the monsters so dang small?” Tree #47: “Simple, really. That way I could hide them inside shipments of bacon and hold the world hostage by taking control of the bacon supply.” ???: “Did somebody say ‘Bacon?’” Lewa: “Who’s that?” Author's Note: Please listen to this music until further notice for a more enjoyable comedic experience. Thank you for your time. Vezon: *Swoops down from the sky* “I may not be out of bubblegum yet, but nobody except for NOBODY messes with my bacon, AM I 100% CLEAR?!” KFRD “Not really, no.” Vezon: “Too bad!” *Flings hand in the air* “Now, I summon Fenrakk, Axonn, and Brutaka, guardians of the Mask of Life!” *Ground cracks open and Fenrakk, Axonn, and Brutaka appear* Vezon: *Pulls out a card from underneath his cape* “Now I play the magic card Polymerisation, allowing me to fuse these three together into…” *Fenrakk, Axonn, and Brutaka warp together to form a large beast* Vezon: “KARDAS, THE KINETIC GUARDIAN!” Kardas: *Roars* Vezon: “KARDAS, STOMP THESE MONSTERS INTO OBLIVION!” Kardas: *Stomps the ground repeatedly, squashing all the monsters in it’s way* Lewa: “I hate to break it to you, but that only works if more of the monsters decide to crawl directly underfoot. You’re not hitting anything anymore.” Vezon: “I know that, Lewa! In case you’ve forgotten, Kardas absorbs kinetic energy into his own reserves, meaning he gets more powerful with every stomp!” Lewa: “Okay, hax! I call hax!” Vezon: “Now, Kardas, unleash your ultimate attack! ULTIMATE KINETIC BEAM CANNON!” Lewa: "Isn't that statement a bit redundant?" Vezon: "Of course! That's why this story is officially endorsed by the" Lewa: "Oh, okay.* *Kardas fires a giant blue beam of energy from it's mouth, destroying the monster army in a giant explosion that knocks everyone over* Ab: "Holy Mahi, that was intense!" Lewa: "Yeah, imagine if you weren't actually here to see it and just had to READ about it! That would stink!" Skirmix: "Help! I can't get up! My arms are way too little!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Author's Note: You may stop listening to that music now, if you wish. If you don't, then that's okay too. That song is incredibly awesome. Ab: "Well, that was quite the adventure!" Skirmix: "Yeah, but now what?" *Scene shows group standing in the white room again* KFRD: "Now you all go home, and we never speak of this again." Lewa: "What?! Why?!" KFRD: "Well, that's how most crossovers end, so I'm really not sure what else I would do." Vezon: "Hey, I hate to be the one to point this out, but where is 'home' for us? We don't have comedies anymore!" Stro: "Yes, but you know, we were chosen to be in this comedy for a reason." Ab: "Really? What's that?" Stro: "Because in the author's mind, we are the most memorable characters he's ever come up with, and even if we don't have our own comedies anymore, even if we've faded into obscurity, we're still always going to have a home in his heart. Am I right KFRD?" KFRD: "Sorry, what? I zoned out. Why are you all still here again?" Stro: "Yeah, you can go jump in a lava pit."_____________________________________________________________________ Author's final thoughts: Okay, I've got to be honest with you guys; this is the most fun I've had writing a comedy in a long time. I fully expect this to lose in the contest, and that's okay. If it wins by some sort of blue moon miracle, that'll be great and all, but really, this comedy was a great opportunity to have all my best characters from my favorite comedies in one place. I would also like to take this chance to thank all the people who have supported me over the years. I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I did writing it. Now if you'll excuse me, I seem to have some plum stuck in my throat. Adios!
  20. Yesterday I posted the final chapter of my most recent epic, Dawn of the New Century. Thus, the entire fic is now available for anyone with basic Internet connection to read. Yay and stuff. Soon I am going to begin work on the second draft of Dawn's sequel, currently titled In the End. It will take place shortly after Dawn and will conclude the duology. It will probably come out in early or mid 2014, although I have no definite release date for it just yet. In the meantime, I am pleased to announce an upcoming comedy I have just finished writing, that crossover fic I mentioned a couple of posts ago. I am now going to reveal the title, which I think my fellow bronies will appreciate: My Little BIONICLE: Friendship is Explosive. As the title oh-so-subtly implies, my new comedy will be a crossover between Bionicle and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Specifically, MLP:FiM will crossover with the Legendverse, the setting of my three Bionicle parodies. So yes, you will see Mata Nui and Twilight Sparkle teaming up to kick butt and chew bubblegum . . . and they're all out of gum. Yes, I am aware that I said The Legend Imploded was the final story in the Legend Trilogy, and it is. Thing is, Mata Nui broke the fourth wall and forced me to write another comedy about his unbelievably awesome adventures, otherwise he'd "turn my spine inside out and replace it with a waffle iron," which I am pretty sure is impossible but as this is the same guy who has thrown explosions I decided to comply with his request. I am not sure when I will post MLB:FiE. Right now I am considering early September, but you can definitely expect to see it by the end of the year. Regarding the "Titans and Monsters" contest, I still have an idea for a short story, but am unsure if I will write it. There's still ten days left to enter, though so I have plenty of time to write up something to enter (whether it will be any good, however, is another question entirely). Also, I want some opinions. I am sure most of you know by now that the BZP Archive is going to be shut down for good (if you don't know what I'm talking about, please click here). A good many of my old fics on the Archive are already gone (like my first comedy, My Bionicle Road Trip and BIONICLE: The Legend Exploded). Thankfully, I have nearly all of them saved onto an external USB drive, so I am free to look at them whenever I want. But it occurred to me that many of the links in my library to my old stories are essentially useless now or will become useless in the future. Thus, I am wondering if I should repost all my old fics here on the new forums, if only so those library links actually link somewhere. I know The Legend Exploded is a definite must, and perhaps the Shika Trilogy, too, but I am unsure about the others. Any thoughts? -TNTOS-
  21. Spitfire was surprised when her invitation to the family's annual reunion gave a location other than the family's ancestral home of Ignacia. Flying to the destination coordinates provided in the invitation, she was surprised to find her cousins Kai and Nya waiting for her aboard a magnificent airship, along with Nya's new boyfriend Jay and the other friends they had made on their adventures. My entry for a certain pony blog's Artist Training Grounds - Family Reunion Edition, which ended yesterday. I actually began to put together the ideas for this artwork during the previous week's Artist Training Grounds, during which I learned that Spitfire from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic shares a voice actress with Nya from LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. I had previously drawn pony versions of the Ninja and Nya quite a while ago (don't post there, topic is dead), but this gave me an excuse just contrived enough to draw them again (Nya and Spitfire both have stylized phoenix cutie marks! =D ). While I couldn't find a funny/heartwarming way to express the idea of the two being related that week, this week's "family reunion" prompts were too good to pass up.Most of this was drawn on the road from my Nana's house in North Carolina back to my house in Virginia, so the lineart is very sketchy, and the Destiny's Bounty is probably horribly off-model. The idea of Kai, Nya, and Spitfire reuniting aboard the Destiny's Bounty in this way was probably also too ambitious for me to really do well in just one day. But the important thing is that I'm trying to get in the habit of drawing ponies more often. I'll probably never have the skill of pony artists like Jiayi, but hopefully one day I'll have at least enough skill to get on this pony blog's "Drawfriend" from time to time.
  22. Yes, this is something that's been buzzing in the back of my head for years; the disturbing similarities between the Great Beings from Bionicle, and the Forerunners from Halo.Let's do a rundown, shall we?1. They're both a species/group that are very much shrouded in mystery within their respective media.2. They both invented massive super-structures (Forerunner Shield Worlds, the Halo Array, the Great Spirit Robot, the Red Star) to cope with some sort of massive disaster (The Flood parasite, the Shattering)3. Both are immediately associated with inventors and scholars, and possess sort of a god-like status.4. They're often portrayed in clothing that obcsures their features, so we don't really know what they look like.5. Both created very advanced technology/nanotech that still functions after several tens of thousands of years (All the robots within the Halo rings, the Baterra)So, thoughts?
  23. Honestly, I have no idea where to put this topic. I was just wondering, has anyone figured out a way to attach a Hero Factory/Glatorian/Agori Helmet to a Metru Head? I'm working on a MOC, and my attempts aren't as nice.So far, I usually use just a flat 2x1 translucent brick for the eye color, but that ends up only filling up one eye. Then, on top of that, I've tried out this, this, and this piece, the last with a 2 long axle and a 2 hole technic piece on top, each in the two holes on the top of the Metru head. Most of these are either too big or only have a hole to attach the plus rod to.Anyone have better suggestions?
  24. To those of you who still play with LEGO Bricks, do you ever make crossovers with different themes? My bro and I did that with Star Wars and NinjaGo a few days ago, even making a sequel where Boba Fett secretly hitches to NinjaGo with the Ninjas and must find a dimension hopper in order to go home.So do you? If you do, share what you've done here.-Sybre
  25. To spare my old followers confusion, Book 3 and REAWAKENED are the same book, simply renamed. The first part of the book can be found here. Let's get started, then! Krika's team: 2Yorek's team: 0Haru's team: 1Caele nui (Haru and Shane): 4Caele nui (Johan): 4Caele nui (Axle): 4Chuck: 4The three _Ys: 4Metru nui: 0 ----------------------Chapter ~~~Aaron~~~ Aaron reached out and took the picture that lay on the ground where Tyler had dropped it. He looked into the woman's smiling face and smiled back, and kissed the picture. The others didn't need to ask to know that she was his wife. He rolled onto his back, his leg stained red from the bullet wound. The door opened and a team of medics set the injured adults on stretchers and rolled them out of the room without speaking. Nathan's fist clenched as he saw them being wheeled out, "Someone's going to pay." ~~~Chuck~~~ The Japanese combat robots had managed to punch a hole in the Demon Island's forces, but they soon found themselves being overpowered by the Matoran technology. Chuck watched as another of them was blown up. He picked up his pace, "How did you manage to convince the Japanese army to attack?" "I told them everything that happened," explained Martin, "and provided photographic evidence of it." He held up his camera bag, smiling. Just as they made it to the exit of the building, the truck they'd used to get there was blown up by one of the Island's troopers carrying a lightning gun. A well aimed bullet quickly dispatched the soldier, giving the group some room to run. Leonard's radio crackled, "I'm running low on ammo." Leonard picked it up and answered, "We're completely out. Although..." he picked up the lightning gun, "We've got this thing." Martin pointed at an Island tank headed towards them, "Look out!" Leo and Ben were on the move right away, "Leave that to us!" Leo aimed the gun at a flipped EMP near the tank and fired. The resulting explosion blocked them from the tank's vision. He waved to Martin and Chuck, "Go hide, we'll try to get into the tank!" "He's crazy," said Chuck. Martin and Johan agreed. ~~~Haru~~~ The desert was, indeed, teeming with mechs, most of them equipped with drills, scoops and other digging equipment. "What do you think they're looking for?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. "Energized Protodermis, I believe," said William, "So what do we do now?" "The three of us alone can't do anything. We're going to need to wait for-" a rumbling noise filled the air. Haru looked to Mount Ihu, "The Bohrok." A massive dust cloud spread from all sides of Mount Ihu as the Bohrok spread out, destroying all in their wake. "What do we do?" asked Shane, "They're going to hit us too at this rate." Haru shook her head, "They won't touch the desert. There's nothing to destroy there. Let's get out into the open." She made her mech step out of its hiding place among the rocks, and went to stand among the crowd. Reluctantly, Shane and William followed her. They had to keep their distance from the workers. The damaged state of their mechs would surely draw attention to them. Slowly, everyone's eyes turned to the dust cloud. As the Bohrok drew closer, the workers, not knowing what they were even looking for anyways, began to desert their jobs and take to the skies. Already, Bohrok could be seen on the edge of the desert, headed towards any large rocks in sight and melting them, dissolving them, and more. The others were so distracted by the Bohrok that they didn't notice Axle until he landed next to them in a sitting position, due to his mech's missing leg. Shane offered him a shoulder to lean on, "It looks like our work is done here." Axle shook his head and pointed with his remaining arm, "No, the scientists are going to be sending troops to abduct as many Bohrok as they can. There's nothing we can do to prevent that, except hope that the Bohrok will put up enough of a fight." He let go of Shane and, balancing on his leg, gunned his boosters, "We should go to Mount Ihu. It's the safest place at the moment." ~~~Chuck~~~ Neither Martin nor Chuck nor Johan was quite sure how they did it, but Leonard and Ben had somehow commandeered the tank and were now speeding along the Island, towards the place where their old party was being held. ~~~Adults +2~~~ The doors were blown open as three familiar and two unfamiliar figures stepped in. The workers in the room immediately ducked and put their hands over their heads as glass flew everywhere. Miriam lowered her hands from in front of her face, "Chuck! Johan!" Nathan ran to their friends and gave Chuck a massive bearhug, "I knew you'd come back, dude!" "Where are your parents?" demanded Martin. "They were just taken out by a team of medics," explained Miriam, "The man named Tyler-" "We know, we saw it on a camera," interjected Chuck. "Looks like we're not quite done yet," said Johan. ------------ Krika's team: 2Yorek's team: 0Haru's team: 1Caele nui (Haru and Shane): 4Caele nui (Johan): 4Caele nui (Axle): 4Chuck: 4The three _Ys: 4Metru nui: 0 Woo! It feels good to be back in action! You know where to review.
