SO. For the next semester's game of HvZ I want to prepare early. Like early early. So I was thinking in addition to the Maverick and Secret Strike (and other, defective Secret Strike) that I bought for last semester's, and the Magstrike and ancient yet still functional single-shot gun I had at home (but didn't bring), I'd get another gun. One with controlled rapid fire. Originally I was thinking a Raider, because hello 35-dart capacity. But then I read through the reviews and switched my preference to the Alpha Trooper, because it supposedly gets better range and it's about $15 cheaper. It has less than half the capacity, though, so I was thinking of getting the Flip Clip refill pack, which would then give me two six-dart clips and an additional 30 darts. But then I was thinking hey, if I'm getting a bunch of streamline darts, might as well go all-out and replace all my suction and tagger darts with them, so maybe I'll buy that 100-dart pack. So in total that'd be about $55 worth of Nerf, which I'm not sure I want to spend. I was thinking about cutting out either the Flip Clip pack or the 100-dart pack, but I'd like to have the extra clips when I'm on the move, and I'd also like to have plenty of darts so I don't have to worry too much about losing them. There are spare 18-dart drums available, but they only come with the necessary 18 darts and they're $5 more than the Flip Clip pack. So, Nerf fans, what should I choose? All three? Pick two? Ditch them all and go for just sock flails?
