Hello. I am currently collecting golden Roborider wheels, once included in combo packs of Roborider sets sold in Germany, as pictured below: I know Roboriders is only tangentially related to Bionicle, but I figured this forum would be my best bet at finding any for sale. Please PM me with any offers. For those interested in trading, I have three of the Axer mold (pictured above) and am willing to trade up to two of them for any golden wheels other than Toxic or Stunner.
So I was doing some cleaning and organizing, and found that the rubber wheels on some of my older sets were coated with a really sticky substance. Considering it was limited entirely to eight rubber wheels and nothing else I have to imagine it originated from the wheels themselves. Does anyone know what this might be? The wheels are from 5955 All Terrain Trapper and the yellow car from 6455 Space Simulation Station, and the substance in question was sticky and maybe a little yellow in color. They were being stored on a wooden shelf that was painted white, if that makes a difference. Anyone know what this is, specifically? And if there's anything I can do to... fix it, I guess?
Flickr | Brickshelf When I was at BrickFair, I chanced upon a vendor selling Throwbots and Robo Riders in great condition, so I decided to pick up #8513 Dust. Great set it was, but I felt like revamping it. This was the result.I felt like turning the set into a bipedal form akin to other LEGO action figure lines, but didn't want to lose the original motorbike appearance, so he can transform back into a vehicle of sorts. And I just gave him a tail for no reason at all. :UThat's all for now. Might do some other revamps soon. Hope you like it~
