Abraham comes pre-approved, Alistair requires approval.
Name: Abraham Daniels
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Type: Exorcist
Specialization: Summoner, with Blaster learnings
Appearance: Abraham is rather average in appearance. He stands at five foot seven with dark brain hair and green eyes hidden behind rectangular glasses. He wears the school uniform almost as it is issued, adding only a holster to his right side, and a digital watch on his left wrist. He is seldom seen without a small backpack slung over one shoulder.
Personality: Abraham is a distinctly friendly person with a fairly optimistic outlook, at least as much as his realistic worldview allows. He seeks to see the best outcomes, and hope for the best. However, he is notorious for one thing; his luck. For the past year his luck has been outright horrible. If he can trip, he will. If he can drop something, he will. If something could hit him, it will. The only exceptions seem to be during combat, or occurrences that would be fatal. Almost as if something unseen and sentient was toying with him. But of course, that's impossible...
Biography: Abraham lived a fairly average life, even with his heritage. His family always knew about their roots, and gave him a basic education while he grew up, even though he went to public school. At fourteen he was enrolled in the academy, and he did very well with his classes. At fifteen, however, things changed. After a summoning gone awry, his luck changed. Gradually at first, but then more rapidly, his grades began to slip. Homework would go up in flames, he wouldn't be able to sleep, all manner of things. He never dipped below what was acceptable, that much never changed, but they didn't get any better.
Skills/Abilities: Abraham is quite versed in the types of demons present in the world, particularly the many lower levels that he can summon to fight on his side. With the exception of the incident when he was fifteen, Abraham has never had any mishaps with his skills. To supplement his specialty, he learned about Blasters, and how to make effective use of their techniques. He's a good shot, better than most, but he prefers older weapons to modern. Fewer ways for things to go wrong, easier to augment. He tends to improvise rather than use preexisting strategies, but he's clever enough to make it work.
Weapons: The teenager is seldom seen without a revolver holstered at his side. In most schools, this would be an issue. But here, it's not all that uncommon. The weapon is worn and battered, but he keeps it in perfect repair and firing condition. When given time to prepare, he has been known to carry anything from a M1 Garand to a modern day sniper rifle. The augmentations he uses are fairly simple, holy bullets, armor piercing rounds, poisoned, etc, but he has been known yto make use of some more advanced tricks.
Weaknesses: Abraham's greatest weakness lies in his specialization. He most often relies on others to fight for him, and is unused to fighting alone. If one were to force him to fight completely alone, he would be at a disadvantage.
Name: Alistair Martin
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Type: Hunter
Specialization: Specialization is largely unknown, suspected to be Slayer, though his more neutral leanings indicate that he may be versed in Partner tactics as well.
Appearance: Abraham is an individual of roughly average height, with a rather lithe build. He is clearly athletic, but with the build of a runner more than that of a weight-lifter. He wears the school uniform completely unaltered, the tie perfectly maintained, and the suit perfectly straight. His black hair is slightly longer than usual, the only part of his appearance not highly maintained; it usually is permitted to remain as it is, with minimal tidying. His expression is friendly, hazel eyes usually lit with the fire of intellect. Overall,he has the look of a scholar, one more suited to fighting with words than blades. However, looks can be... Deceptive.
Personality: Alistair is quite friendly, if a little eccentric. He's never seen without his messenger bag, and usually has a book tucked under one arm. He has a tendency to make references to myth and legend, as well as at times unnervingly astute observations about those around him. As a senior, he has already graduated from the majority of the school's history classes and he will occasionally be called in by one of the teachers either to help illustrate a point, or to aid a struggling student.
Biography: Alistair is descended from a long, long line of Hunters. His family has been in the business since it began, some of his ancestors knights, others lords, and all rooted in Europe. Alistair himself, as well as most of the generations preceding him, were born in England and owed their loyalty to the monarchy. They tend towards more traditional methods rather than the newest technology, and tradition holds significant meaning for them. Alistair himself was raised with the teachings his family had accumulated, and trained with their weapons even before he reached the Academy. His earlier years were spent primarily in academics, with an odd smattering of physical classes to round out his schedule. Throughout all three years, he has never demonstrated any particular power or ability. No spells, no taming of Nobles. He has shown a few Partner tendencies, since he would often work with Nobles even if no one else in his class would, but he has skated through without making too much of a splash outside of academics. But there have been rumors, mostly centered around his family's legacy, and his swordsmanship...
Skills/Abilities: First and foremost, Alistair is a swordsman of the highest caliber. Though he has a preference for straight-edged European swords, he has shown to be at the very least competent with blades from all around the world. Spears, axes, if it's an older melee weapon, there's a good chance he's at least familiar with it. He is a fairly average shot with modern firearms, and while he is versed in their use, he prefers not to make use of them. He is familiar with several methods of sword based combat, some involving a single blade and a two handed grip, some with a sword and shield, some making use of two swords. Of them all, however, he prefers to use a single blade. He has no special abilities of his own, at least, not by himself. His abilities come from his equipment, but few others can make use of his equipment, begging the question of whether or not the wielder himself has something to do with it. He can wield weapons from legend, provided he finds them, and make use of the inherent powers.
Weapons: Alistair most commonly makes use of swords and other bladed weapons, though he will use a firearm if he must. However, he is never seen carrying a weapon around with him. At least, a visible one. Alistair is always armed, it is simply that no one can see the weapon. Attached to the top of his messenger bag is an unseen sheath, shielded from view in almost all senses of the world. The sheath is leather with gold lettering, spelling out a name in a language long dead, and unreadable by all but the best linguists. The guard is gold in color, with a circular pommel with a gleaming sapphire set in the center. The blade is long and straight, both edges sharpened to perfection, and black flowing script running down the length. The blade and sheath are both equally important, bearing the names Excalibur and Avalon respectively. Plucked straight from the legend, each possesses an innate ability. Excalibur, when drawn, increases the speed and power of the wielder. In addition, the blade is of a holy nature, naturally painful to creatures of the dark. Avalon grants its user an extra level of protection; as long as it remains with the wielder, it makes it harder to harm them. Bullets, blades and claws will start to lose their effectiveness as they near, though they are not stopped. To any sensitive to the universe's natural energies, this is even more remarkable; the defensive aura, though unseen to most, takes the shape of a suit of armor.
Weaknesses: Alistair is reluctant to use modern weaponry, and he will only rarely draw his true weapons. Even though Excalibur and Avalon's abilities allow him to fight with most lower level Nobles on an even footing, he is forced to fight them at melee range, due to his lack of ranged capabilities.

Just a reminder that you will need to make Profiles for the creatures Abraham can summon later on, but yeah he is pre-approved.

For Alistair could you elaborate on the amount the Speed and Power is increased by Excalibur? As for Avalon, how effective is this defense, say he was hit in the chest with a bullet, would it be the equivalent of wearing kevlar, so just bruises, or would the bullet still puncture?

Already working on the former, I'll have them ready before any summoning is needed.

As for the the latter; Speed and power are increased at roughly one and a half to two times normal, One and a half is the baseline, but much like how our own muscles can be forced beyond their normal limits (albeit not without being sore as heck soon after), it can be forced to closer to two under extreme circumstances. And what I forgot to mention because I wrote that section in something of a hurry was also that prolonged use of Excalibur tires him faster than use of a regular sword would. The equivalent of Avalon would be fairly close to kevlar, albeit a light layer. A bullet from, say, a standard pistol would definitely bruise, and depending on the range, could penetrate. From a distance in excess of several yards, it would bruise, but any closer, and it would likely penetrate. More powerful firearms have a higher chance of getting through, of course. Within the context of bladed weapons, stab from a knife would be severely slowed if not outright stopped, but a full-on sword blow would cause significant damage.

Alright with those stipulations in mind, Alistair is approved. The First of my Profiles.

Name: Dante Giordano

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Type: Exorcist

Specialization: Smiter with interest in becoming a Researcher at some point in the future.

Appearance: Dante stands relatively tall at about 6’ 2’’, and has a lean figure to go with it. His skin is an olive color, and he has striking amber eyes that seem to glow whenever he forms a contract. His eyes also seem to have perpetually bags under them, despite that he’s trying to sleep every five seconds. This is merely a sign that he’s actually a pretty decent study, staying up late to take care of work. He has messy brown hair that tends to fall down the length of his forehead and obviously hasn’t seen a comb in a while.

In terms of clothing, Dante can’t really be bothered. He hasn’t even touched the school uniform and it generally just remains unaltered, albeit somewhat messy. He doesn’t throw on the tie and it’s not uncommon for the first few buttons of the shirt to be left unbuttoned especially the collar. It’s also quite common for the clothes to be rather wrinkled.

Personality: Dante is always upbeat and optimistic despite what his frequent snarking about his luck may imply, or his normally reserved nature. More defining though is his unshakable optimism when it comes to the human spirit and with it comes a stubborn determination in everything he does.

Dante always sees the good in people and while he may cuss you out for being a *****, he will never give up on saving you. It should be noted though that despite his optimism Dante is not naïve, he fully realizes the evils people can and will commit, he just doesn’t buy into the **** that people can be beyond redemption. It just might take a few punches to the jaw.

All this however, generally remains hidden, for on the outside he tends to keep to himself, always appearing to be occupied with something, and he usually is. Once you make a friend of him though, he becomes a steadfast ally who’ll probably be cracking quite a few snarks along the journey.

Even so, there are two things about Dante that generally tend to be overlooked by others. He complains about many odd occurrences occurring around him not due to any ill will but because it’s more of a coping mechanism. This whole world of Exorcists and Demons is new to him, he’s a complete stranger, just a normal guy roped into a mess he only vaguely understands.

The other main problem he has is his notoriously bad luck, for as long as he can remember things have constantly gone wrong for him. Whether that be him tripping over his feet, books falling on his head or even nonsense like his homework falling in a puddle, it was always some sort of lousy luck. Despite this Dante tries to stay at least somewhat upbeat.

Biography: Dante never got to have a tragic past, nor did he receive a past in which he was always the hero, awakening one day with the powers to save the world. And that was precisely the problem. For as long as he can remember Dante always wanted to have powers so that he could be the hero, so that he could save people.

Now most kids give up on this dream rather early on, by the time they enter Middle School, most stop fantasizing about it. That was not the case with Dante; in fact his resolve merely grew after entering Middle School. The fact that few still were serious about wanting to be a hero gnawed at him, despite lacking knowledge about the hidden war in the shadows.

Unfortunately for Dante he wasn’t an Exorcist, who could save the world from deadly Demons, nor was he a Noble who could develop powers to take on the world. No, on all accounts Dante remained average, and this just wouldn’t suit him. So he decided to try and learn Magic.

For a normal person the idea would be absurd, after all little evidence of Magic even existed. No one could see past the Shroud, they had no way of knowing about the hidden forces at work in the world. However for Dante, a world filled with so many coincidences between mythologies around the world meant that surely there some truth to it. Perhaps even magic might be possible as well.

Thus he turned to the occult, spending the remainder of his Middle School years, and continuing into his High School years, researching. His grades suffering as a result, the former straight-A student became too apathetic to school, devoting his mind to the pursuit of Magic.

Finally, near the end of his freshman year he stumbled upon his first real lead, an odd incantation in the back of a book that seemed to form some sort of contract. A contract with the elements, reciting the incantation and sacrificing some blood, he passed and found himself in some sort of dream world.

There he met a group of beings of identifying themselves as the Zodiacs. The whole scene was somewhat surreal to Dante, but they told him he had established a contract that granted him the ability to use the power of the Elements. By drawing on the different signs and their affinities to the elements Dante would be able to perform remarkable feats.

When Dante awoke he found himself in a hospital, later learning that he had been taken here when the book store owner found him passed out on the floor of the book. At first Dante mistook the entire thing as an odd, blood-deprived dream, but soon odd occurences began to happen, like invisible attacks, casting doubt upon his first guess.

Finally Dante could take it no longer and lashed out his invisible assailants activating a contract and driving some of them back. However Dante could now see through the Shroud and the entire world of Demons now lay before his eyes.

It wasn’t long before Exorcists appeared at his door to announce his acceptance into Venator Academy. Apparently the establishment of the contact caused a demonic stirring in the area he lived, leading to the Demons attacking him. The Exorcists had been sent to deal with it and in the process had discovered Dante’s new gifts.

The 2013-2014 School Year will be Dante’s first year amongst the supernatural in Venator Academy.

Skills/Abilities: Dante is relatively well versed in many mythologies and folklore due to his researching. Dante also tends to be quite adept at thinking on his feet and problem solving on the goal. He also a rather fast runner. When faced with puzzles and riddles, Dante can generally solve them with ease, especially when pressured to do so.

His Contract: Elemental Contracting: Through the contract Dante established with the Zodiac Spirits, Dante possesses the ability to form contracts with them to draw upon the power of the Four Classical Elements: Air, Water, Earth, and Fire.

To establish a Contract recites an incantation in which he offers up a part of himself as a sacrifice to the corresponding group of Zodiacs, and recites the power he wishes for in return(i.e. Drawing upon the element of water means sacrificing to the Water Signs: Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces). For the weaker powers, like the Elemental Enhancements or minor Elemental Manipulation, this sacrifice can be merely losing some blood.

However in the event he wishes to draw upon more power, Dante must make greater sacrifices. These can range from the loss of limbs, to the loss of senses, to even things like the loss of his eye. The more power he which to draw upon the greater the sacrifice. These great sacrifices don’t require him to manually cut like he must with blood and take effect after the contracted power finishes.

For example if he offered up his arm as sacrifice for having the Earth swallow up a few men, Dante’s arm would vanish only after the Earth had finished burying the men. Afterwards his body would experience the pain of having it cut off, minus the physical scars. Instead there would merely be nothing where the arm once was. These great sacrifices also have no known way to be healed, not with science or magic.Element Enhancement refers to him using contracts to gain traits of an element (i.e. Speed from Wind, Endurance from Earth etc.). Elemental Manipulation refers to directly manipulating the elements the strength and abilities of both these powers are limited by how much Dante sacrifices.

Dante can only have one contract active at a time, and each one requires a new sacrifice. As such if he was using a contract and then formed a new one he'd have to perform a sacrifice again.

Weapons: The only thing Dante carries that can be considered a weapon is long knife that he uses more for drawing blood for his sacrifices than actually attacking anyone.

Weaknesses: Dante is average on pretty much all fields, his contracts are the only real perk he has, and it comes with many drawbacks, such as the sacrifices and the other issues specified in the Powers section. Dante also tends to not think things through and his quick thinking can only get him so far.

Dante is also rather new to the world of Demons and Exorcists and as such lacks the experience of other people when it comes to dealing with threats in this world. It is not uncommon for things the once hid behind the shroud to startle him.Another large weakness he has is that he just doesn’t have much of an idea when it comes to combat. When fighting others its generally his brain that gets him out of pickles as most people tend to have stronger powers than his Enhancements can provide. His biggest weakness though is probably his horridly bad luck.

Name: Zachery “Zach” Greyford

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Type: Exorcist

Specialization: Banisher/Blaster

Appearance: At a height of 5’11”, Zach is one of the taller students on campus. His light brown hair is kept short, similar to a buzzcut but he has hair on the side of his head. He has relatively pale skin compared to most students. His eyes are almost the same colour of his hair, albeit slightly darker. His uniform is kept neat and clean, except for the fact that his jacket is missing the sleeves starting from slightly above the elbow.

Personality: Zach is outgoing, cheerful, hyperactive, and eager to meet people. Well, people that aren’t beekeepers, people possessed by demons, or the like. In battle, he doesn’t talk as much, since he tends to concentrate.

Biography: Zach was born into a normal enough family. Except his mother was an Exorcist, which of course allowed him to see through the Shroud once he grew older. And it scared him. The idea that monsters were walking among people without anyone noticing frightened him at first. Eventually, though, he got used to the idea. His mother trained him to fight the demons as soon as he could see through the Shroud, and eventually he became enrolled at the Venator Academy.

Skills/Abilities: Very proficient in swordplay and marksmanship, very good in class as well.

Weapons: Zach has dozens of weapons at his disposal, most of which are unenchanted swords and guns. However, he tends to use two weapons more often than others: A one-handed sword and a .45 Magnum revolver, both of which are relatively (Not by him, though). The sword has a sapphire embedded at the very base of the hilt, and small quartz crystals in the base of the blade. The blade is a shiny-as-new silver colour, lightweight, with enchantments engraved on it. The Magnum looks plain enough, except for the fact enchantments are carved into. And also a small bottle of insecticide is attached to it as well, which fires out the liquid a relatively short distance (About 3 or 4 feet) away.

Weaknesses: Zach has a very, very deliberating phobia of wasps, bees, or anything that buzzes within 5 feet of him. He tends to run whenever something like that happens. He also isn’t the most magically adept, preferring to use weaponry over magical words.

Hm, this RPG looks interesting. Profiles here (Yes, I know that I have three, but one of them is more of a pet than a character)

Name: Vincent Liu

Gender: Male

Age: 15

Type: Exorcist

Specialization: Summoner, with some abilities in banishment.

Appearance: Vincent appears to be a typical Chinese teenager, with a medium skin tone, black hair, chestnut eyes, and almost always wearing glasses. His right leg below the knee has been amputated, so he wears a prosthetic to facilitate walking. He stands at about 5'11". He wears the school uniform unaltered, taking the utmost care of it as if it were a military dress uniform.

Personality: Brooding and grim, Vincent possesses a degree of wisdom rarely found in most teenagers. However, with much wisdom comes much sorrow, so he can make a sour person to be around. Normally the silent, antisocial one, when he does open his mouth, his words will either bring enlightenment or cut to the metaphorical bone. Thus, while he is respected by many, very few (of his age) genuinely like him. However, he is much more childish in private. One thing of note is that he is especially drawn to cute things, including but not limited to stuffed toys, cute animals, and small children. He is very respectful of authority and will always lend a helping, if cold, hand to those in need.

Biography: Vincent was born into a regular Chinese family, having no contact with the magical world until high school. There, finding himself increasingly cut off from his peers as well as being inexplicably drawn towards the magical world. He began practicing his own system using what little literature on the subject was available to the public. One day, after having mastered the preliminary exercises, he was successful in summoning a spirit, but nothing much happened, except for him being introduced to Agnes. Unfortunately, in a tragic (though completely mundane) incident, he was hit by a car, mangling his right leg. On the bright side, being unable to participate in more physical activities helped him to devote more time to his study. Eventually, he received an invitation to Venator Academy, which he gladly accepted. Moving to the UK, he spent about 6 months getting himself acquainted with the British culture before traveling to the Academy.

Skills/Abilities: Vincent has read up lots on the art of summoning, so while he knowledge is still purely theoretical, it's better than nothing. However, no summoner should lack the ability to dismiss the spirits he summons when he so chooses, so Vincent has begun the study of banishment as well. On more mundane fronts, Vincent is a talented musician (specializing in Classical era music [Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven]) and knows several languages (English, Mandarin Chinese, basic Latin, is currently trying to learn Russian).

Weapons: Vincent carries a staff of poplar wood crafted by his own hand. he uses this primarily to facilitate balance, but he can also use it for ritual and for combat as well.

Weaknesses: Vincent can be somewhat unsure on his footing due to his injury. As such, he can be easily outmaneuvered in a fight. As well, due to his antisocial tendencies, he has very few people he can truly rely on, which has forced him to face many sticky situations alone.

Name: Eleven

Gender: Male

Type: Demon

Classification: Nature Spirit (Water Elemental)

Appearance: To those who can see him, Eleven will appear as as a middle aged man dressed in a manner similar to British army officers from WWII, with brown hair and eyes of an indistinguishable color. However, he will more commonly appear as an apparition of water, taking whatever form he pleases.

Personality: Eleven is very apathetic and lazy, possessing almost no drive whatsoever. He's the type who cares about nothing, lacking any sort of conviction. As a result, he can be a difficult demon to work with. However, get him started on British culture and he'll talk your ear off.

Biography: Eleven was one of the Water Elementals, taking his name from the November, which the majority of fell under Scorpio. He was a minor spirit; thus, he was rarely summoned due to being a much larger pool of demons to choose from. As such, he was rarely summoned until he met Vincent. He was the first spirit that Vincent was able to successfully summon. While the summoning was a success, all the spirit did the first time they met was sing British folk songs, exchange witty banter, and lounge around before disappearing. However, Eleven had taken an interest to Vincent, and deciding to stick to the immigrant, he assisted the Canadian boy in becoming familiar with English customs and traditions, helping Vincent to fit in more.

Weaknesses: It's very hard to get Eleven to do something not of his own accord period, so unless the situation is life or death, he is absolutely useless for conventional magic. As well,

Bestiary Entry: N/A

Name: Agnes Fehr

Gender: Female

Age: 35

Type: Noble

Specialization: Vampire

Appearance: Agnes looks like an average German teenager, as she chose to be "forever young". Standing at about 5'6", she has blond hair (usually tied into a ponytail), cerulean eyes, and peach coloured skin. She wears the uniform quite creatively, with each day bringing new variations.

Personality: Agnes is extremely hyper, fitting the definition of what the Japanese would call "genki" to a T. Her outbursts of energy are enough to even leave other hyper people completely exhausted. In addition, she is an occidental otaku, being a diehard fan of many manga and anime series across all genres and demographics.

Biography: Agnes is fairly young for a vampire, growing up in a family of vampires with ties to the Holy Roman Empire. Growing up in Berlin, she was very aware of who she was and of her family's history from a young age. Secluded from most of humanity, her family eventually moved to London due to a job transfer, where they more or less continued their life as hermits. However, the young and rebellious vampire was curious about the outside world, and after a very serious falling out with her parents, she ran away from home, going onto the streets. Eventually, when Vincent arrived in the UK, she met him in a strange twist of fate and hasn't stopped annoying the young man ever since.

Skills/Abilities: Agnes, in addition to standard vampiric abilities, is starting to develop the power of flight. So far, she can only hover a foot above the ground at most but if she were to fall from a great height, she would be able to sufficiently slow her fall so that injury above broken bones could be avoided. In addition, she is trained in a martial arts style bearing similarities to Defendo. In addition to English, she knows German and is learning Japanese.

Weapons: Agnes is capable of proficiently wielding knives and daggers. She is almost never seen without a survival knife of sorts, even in the city.

Weaknesses: Agnes possesses all of the standard weaknesses of vampires, but is especially weak to garlic, going into anaphylactic shock upon ingestion. As well, she is quite weak for a vampire due to being on a "low blood diet".

Name: Misayo Takara

Gender: Female

Age: 100

Type: Noble

Specialization: Kitsune

Appearance: Misayo bears the look of a typical red fox with orange fur, black paws, and black ears. The only distinguishing feature is that she has nine tails instead of the one that mundane foxes possess. She rarely shifts into human form, but when she does, she appears as a young, especially pretty Japanese young woman, with long (almost waist length!) black hair, fair skin, . In her human form, her hoshi no tama appears in the form of a necklace; in fox form, it is carried in her mouth.

Personality: Misayo often obfuscates "stupidity" by acting extremely animalistic, in a manner similar to a regular fox. When used in tandem with her illusion abilities only a fully trained exorcist or hunter can tell her apart from an ordinary red fox. Her true personality is one that is uncharacteristically shy for a kitsune, being easily put off by new people. As a result, she prefers to keep to herself, or in rare cases, other people similar to her. However, she retains the pride that is characteristic to all of the fox spirits. She also has a very strong maternal instinct, keeping a careful eye on those she deems in need of a guardian.

Biography: Misayo is quite young for a fox spirit, being born during World War One. For most of her life, she hid from human society, keeping to herself while observing from afar. She was able to learn a lot about humans from her observations, but one day, she decided she wanted to dive into the world. Sneaking aboard a cargo ship headed for the UK, she was able to blend in with the normal human population, even getting a job. During this time, she decided to gather information on all of the Nobles, Exorcists, and Hunters in the area. Eventually, she stumbled across Agnes when the latter was running away from home, and felt that she needed to watch over the youth due to her uncharacteristic energy. She has since followed the vampire around, keeping a careful eye on the young woman. An invitation to Venator Academy allowed her to watch over the youth even when she went to her new school.

Skills/Abilities: Misayo is incredibly stealthy, being able to sneak around undetected in both fox and human form. As well, she possess the ability of illusion, most often used to hide eight of her tails. This illusion ability can help quite a bit when she decides she needs to get somewhere unnoticed, as she can hide/distract potential spotters with her ability. Finally, she can use a very basic form of Tails of Fire: she can cause her tails to "ignite", but she can't manipulate the fire, thus requiring her to go into melee range just to use the flames effectively.

Weapons: Misayo doesn't use any weapons.

Weaknesses: Misayo is physically weak, so she can be easily outfought. Her pride can easily get her into sticky situations, such as blackmail. As well, she is slow to action, preferring to watch things rather than directly affect them.

Name: Alexander Hawkins

Gender: Male

Age: 17

Type: Exorcist

Specialization: Researcher/Classifier

Appearance: Alexander stands at five-foot-eight, with a weight of one hundred twenty two pounds. He has a rather wiry but tough frame, Caucasian skin, brownish hair, and green eyes. He wears the basic school uniform with the black jacket, white collar shirt, and so forth; he has a rather unkempt look about him, with badly cared for hair and a sullen look to his eyes, marking him as one who rarely gets any good sleep (understandable, as he has insomnia). He can generally be seen practicing his habit of constantly squeezing his hands, especially when under stress. He wears a belt around his jacket with a sword sheathed at his side.

Personality: Alexander is the definition of knowledge without experience, and he’s very aware of that. In fact, he’s incredibly aware of a lot of things; the only strange thing is that he looks at the entire world around him like it’s the setting for a story, and has a paranoid fear that it’s not one meant to end very well – especially for him. He has a tendency to move towards those who are much stronger or more experienced than him for this reason, though he may show some disdain towards the more brutish of them, sometimes to his detriment due to his reliance on them. He’s rather clever, and quick to pick up new information or figure out otherwise unknown mechanical devices. However, it can sometimes be hard to coax observations out of him, as he is highly self-conscious and has almost no real ego (something that he fears may make him a danger to others when combating stronger demons, who could take advantage of one with a weaker will). He has no idea why his parents gave him the family’s ancestral weapon.

Biography: Alexander’s family (on his mothers side) and its offshoots has been involved in exorcising and hunting for a number of centuries; the oldest known ancestors in the written and oral history of his family trace back to being soldiers in the first crusade, when his ancestor was actually possessed by a demon in the midst of a battle and later exorcised by an unnamed priest who had been accompanying his group. Moving further down his family line there can be found some of the earliest (wealthy) settlers in the American colonies, though many of them remained loyalists and would return to Great Britain before the start of the American Revolution. Close to a century later, they also assisted as suppliers of resources and manpower for the academy. Though many changes happened, included the family name, there was one thing which remained constant – the sword of that first crusader and earliest known family member, given to him by the elderly priest out in the desert sands before he passed away. A blade crafted from steel and coated in the words of exorcists, known as Wraith-Striker, for it was said to be able to harm even the intangible demons at the height of its power. Alexander, the youngest in his family even to his siblings (with two sisters and a brother, all at least ten years old than him), has been part of the academy since the youngest age of admissions. Even before then, his parents made sure to get him the best possible private education. For the most part, he’s never been very good with people or adept at making friends; as such, he lives a rather lonely life in the academy, away from most family members for the majority of the time, and distancing himself by choice from the rest. However, that may have to change as the day comes when his training must be put to use out on the field.

Skills/Abilities: Alexander has two primary skills in the realm of academia – the identification of creatures and demons and knowledge of languages. With the latter, he can speak in a number of languages – English, German, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, and Latin. He also knows a small amount of French and Hebrew. The ability to communicate with foreigners or read foreign manuscripts is invaluable in acquiring new information. Of course, that information often involves the first of his skills, which is learning more about different demons and creatures. Creatures of European origin are his specialty, but there are plenty of others which he has made himself aware of over the course of his studies. He can usually identify the weaknesses of the more common creatures and demons, but against greater demons or unique creatures he possesses a much more limited pool of knowledge. His knowledge allows him limited knowledge of chants, to the point that he may be able to hold back a weaker demon for a long enough time to get assistance (though if none was to be had, it may be bad for him). He’s not a rather fast runner, but he has quite a bit of stamina and can take a beating or run like heck for a rather long distance before dropping.

Weapons: It would seem strange that one such as Alexander who can’t properly wield a sword would have in his possession one like Wraith-Striker, but it is nevertheless in his possession for the time being. He does know that his siblings were less than pleased with that turn of events. The sword is made of the finest steel of its time, during the crusades; it may possibly be older, given that it was originally in possession of the priest before his own ancestor. Despite every attempt to preserve it, has begun rusting over; whatever enchantments or works of alchemy that were put into preserving it have begun to fail over the years, though they still provide it the resilience to stand up against other weapons. Against creatures with harder scales or beings with armor it is of little use, however; even if it was, he doesn’t know how to use it. The one thing about Wraith-Striker that is peculiar is that it is covered in Hebrew writing with numerous verses and chants carved upon it. It is also believed to amplify the power of these words when spoken, though this has not proved true in recent years and is most likely a myth. The sword is more a keepsake now than anything else, though it is still incredibly important to the family. If push comes to shove, Alexander is more likely to employ the pistol he keeps in his inner jacket pocket, though he doesn’t have much knowledge of how to use that either past a few yards range.

Weaknesses: Alexander understands the concept of working with weaponry, but that doesn’t necessarily indicate that he’s any good with it. He could probably tell you how shoddy your swordsmanship is, yet still be utterly failing to actually execute the proper methods any better. He is rather quick to scare, and it’s doubtful he would be ready to stand fast against a demon lord/prince or an epic creature (or even some nobles!), even with others at his side, unless he was truly confident in their abilities - running would be far more likely. His will isn’t particularly strong, due to his rather limited sense of confidence in himself; however, there may be some hope of at least partially correcting that in the future.

I'm not a big fan of people like this character, but if I intend to improve my writing and role-playing ability, it would be best to step a little out of the comfort zone for a while. It may also be interesting whipping this one into a skilled exorcist.

Hopefully I'll have enough time to at least keep up a little with this RPG... as long as I don't fall back to the habit of putting off responses until later and forgetting them that I seem to be developing on here. >_<

Agnes approved and while Misayo intrigues me, I'm not sure if I want to approve a Kitsune like that. I'll need a little bit of time to mull it over, don't worry though, right now I am leaning towards approving her.

As for Vincent, as I mentioned in the Summoner section, most Summoners at this age only have access to 2 or 3 Demons they can summon. In addition there is a profile up for what type of Demon they summon. While you don't need those profiles done yet, you do need them before you can summon.

Ninja'ed by Lev, give me a second man.

Alexander is approved, however if you have any plans as towards reawakening Wraith-Striker please make sure to PM them to me.

Name: Septimus Anguirus

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Type: Exorcist

Specialization: Smiter

Appearance: Despite being a member of the masculine sex, Septimus is a surprisingly girly looking teenager. Possessing a rather feminine face, and somewhat long red hair that drops down to his shoulders, people continue to mistake him for a person of the opposite gender. His androgynous voice and build does not help in this regard, as with his small frame and height of a metre sixty, he looks like a young girl; one who probably would not be considered a legal adult. Although if one were to look into his piercing green eyes, they would see that he had a much older gaze than what his appearance belies.

Having graduated a year prior, Septimus no longer wears the traditional uniform of the academy, preferring his grey shirt, dark jeans and baggy blue jacket, which one would usually wear when skiing. He frequently changes his footwear, wearing a different pair of runners each day of the week.

He also has a blue and white beanie.

Personality: Septimus is usually a relaxed person, sometimes to such a degree that people think he does nothing but laze around and take life as it comes. Of course, those who assume such a thing have no idea what he is; an incredibly active member of the exorcist community who, despite his young age, does all he can to make sure that humanity can survive the relentless assaults of the underworld. He is also rather wise for his age, and attempts to serve as a good role model and mentor for those who are younger than him.

Although a content person, heaven have mercy on whoever insults his contract with Cloacina, who he has a strong working relationship with.

Biography: Septimus' family have been exorcists for a long time, the most renowned member of the lineage having achieved prominence during the early years of the Seven Years War. The latest in this long line of holy warriors, Septimus had grown up learning of the feats of his grandparents, and had immediately decided to become a exorcist like his family before him, deciding to establish a contract with one of the pagan gods of his Roman ancestors to do so.

Even when he had attended Venator Academy like those of his family, he had always stood out, probably due to his affinity for the more pagan arts instead of the traditional Roman Catholicism of his lineage. Not that he let it bother him, as he managed to graduate from the academy at the top of his class, and soon took to the streets of Rome, fighting against any reckless and impulsive demons who actually tried to attack one of the holiest cities on the planet.

In the coming school year, however, Septimus has returned to Venator Academy, serving as a teacher's assistant and an all-around odd-jobs person; doing all the dirty duties whether they be plumbing or sweeping the grounds.

Although he really wondered if a year was enough for them to forget he was actually male.

Skills/Abilities: Septimus is a skilled close-combat fighter, possessing surprising physical strength in comparison to his small frame. He is also rather creative in his use of his contract powers, and showed minor summoner abilities when he opened up a channel to Cloacina's spirit, allowing his to converse with her.

The terms of his contract allow him to divert and distribute the flow of things in different directions, as Cloacina was the goddess of the Cloaca Maxima, one of the greatest sewage systems in history, but to do so uses up his inner energies, and the more he has to divert, the more taxing it is on his body. Another capability that his contract gives is the ability to shield married couples, although it takes up much more energy.

Weapons: Septimus wields an spatha enchanted to be more resistant.

Weaknesses: Septimus has a 4x weakness to ghost-type attacks. Despite his creativity, his powers do not exactly have much use in a combat situation.

Name: Cloacina
Gender: Female
Type: N/A
Classification: Spirit/Goddess
Appearance: Known to be an aspect of Venus, Cloacina is supposedly a rather pretty looking woman, although all that people can work with are her own claims, as she has never appeared in person, only communicating to the wider world through Septimus as a voice.
Personality: Cloacina is a rather cheery person, although incredibly talkative at times. She possesses an incredibly idealistic view of romance, and has a strange propensity for spouting out random facts about sewage systems. Very rarely is she ever gloomy, but she is known to make sarcastic comments every once in a while, and adores her contractor in a platonic fashion, considering him to be similar to a little brother of sorts.
Biography: Cloacina first came into being following the completion of the Cloaca Maxima, the main trunk of Rome's sewer system. She was originally an Etruscan goddess, the Cloaca having been built during the Etruscan rule of the empire. Following the establishment of the Roman Republic however, she became one of the Roman deities, and learnt more of her past, having been an aspect of the great Venus. Yet even then, she was not exactly well-known, and fell into antiquity following the adoption of Christianity.
However, she later returned from obscurity after establishing a contract with Septimus, and now gives him the power to fight against demons.
Weaknesses: Cloacina's powers are rather insignificant, and cannot affect the human world.

Fine I'll allow electricity with extreme amount of power, so it's power that would need to be used sparsely.

Also Constructman I'd caution you on the use of so many languages, as it is rather improbably considering the age. Perhaps lower it a down a bit, as Hubert stated all common dialects of Chinese is difficult enough.

Now as for your Kitsune, as much as the idea intrigues me. I'm going to have to say no. The main reason is that the Kitsune is notorious for its pride, it's strongest trait and greatest weaknesses. Not only is the concept of a Kitsune as a pet detestable to them, even an infant would probably be smart enough to realize that. In addition I can't really imagine a Kitsune who would leave its child alone to be raised by animals. Also the moment they entered the school, every single Kitsune would be coming down on Vincent, take away the Kitsune and probably try and kill Vincent.

Name: Eliana Leonaz

Gender: Female

Age: 17

Type: Exorcist

Specialization: Smiter/Banisher

Appearance: Eliana is of an average height and is below the average weight, nearly underweight but saved from it by her amount of muscle, which is more than most girls, about the amount of an athlete. She's strongest in the arms, with her legs just being barely above average. Even with this she's slim, generating a toned appearance overall. Her naturally tanned skin contrasts with her dark, shoulder length hair and sea-green eyes beautifully, with her nose being lightly longer than most due to her Spanish heritage. She has a tatoo of large, angelic wings on her back, which serve more purpose than one would think. Her uniform is typical, with two holes cut out from the back of both the jacket and the shirt to accommodate her powers, and a single leather glove covers her right hand.

Personality: Eliana can be calm, collected, and patient, but often she's pushed to her limits and gets angry about small or large things, depending upon what it is that annoys her to that point. She has a distaste for all Demons, both those good and bad, but doesn't act upon her feelings unless they've truly done something that deserves consequences. She doesn't really mind Nobles all that much, actually having made friendships with a few during the course of her years at Venator, which are still ongoing.

Biography: Eliana Leonaz was born into a long line of Exorcists, one of a few families that have protected the city of Valencia, Spain, for hundreds of years. The Leonaz's in particular were one of the more powerful, due to an ancient sword that had once belonged to a mysterious being called Malcolm, and the fact that Malcolm still made contracts with those who wielded his sword so that they could be more effective in fighting Demonic threats. Eliana's father had used the sword, named Redemption, up until his wife had Eliana, their first child. At that point, he lay the sword to rest in the woods behind the Leonaz's manor, and instead became a Alchemist, providing poisons and tonics to the other families of Valencia. This changed one day, on her birthday in fact, July 25th, her 14th birthday. A Demon Lord had finally decided that it was time for the Leonaz Family to die out, and for Redepmtion to stay silent and stuck in the earth. He attacked, and though the husband and wife fought well the Lord still managed to kill them in front of the horrorstruck Eliana. She fled into the woods, and the Lord, weak but still confident, followed. Upon reaching the shrine where the sword lay, Eliana said a prayer, took up the sword and swung it into the charging Demon Lord, who fell from the holy steel. And right then and there, Eliana Leonaz made a contract with Malcolm, who took the dead Demon Lord in return for two things: The granting of angelic wings to Eliana, for greater defense and maneuverability in battle and out of it, and Redemption being re-enchanted to be more effective in Demon fighting. The drawback is simple: Every 120 days, she must personally kill at least enough lesser Demons to equal the power level of a Serf, or one Serf itself, and everytime she uses her wings she must kill another Lesser Demon within 45 days, or sacrifice a large hunting bird, such as a falcon or eagle. If she fails to do this, she'll lose one finger.

As of now, it's been 4 years since the incident, and Eliana is on her final year, with one less left pinky, and many Demons destroyed.

Skills/Abilities: Eliana's alright at many things, but excels at swordplay of all kinds along with keeping people's spirits up. Her technical expertise defies the entire definition of expert, being almost nonexistent, but she makes up for it by having natural skill and training in weapon forging and sharpening.

She had one main power, that of being able to summon angelic, bird-like wings from the tatoos on her back and using them as a shield or to fly. Their divine power allows her to ignore the fact that wings of this size shouldn't be able to lift a girl of her size, and have saved her life many times.

Weapons: The sword of a mysterious being, Malcolm, Redemption. It's a broadsword but surprisingly light for its size, made from white steel with a bronze-plated hilt, modeled to look like a pair of wings. The sword is normally sheathed at her left side, as she uses her right hand in combat, with some double-handed hits thrown in.

Weaknesses: Due to her nature as a melee fighter, Eliana's weak to ranged attacks, choosing instead to get up close and personal while fighting. Along with this, she has almost no experience with Nobles or other Creatures, and so is week to attacks from them. Lastly, without Redemption, Eliana would be quite helpless in what to do other than run or try to get it back.

Alright, this had come enough times in Skype chats and here that I should probably just make this public knowledge: Due to plans I have for them, please refrain from using Angels, at least until further notice. The most I might allow are creatures referring to themselves as Angels but even for that I need a good reason.

That said a couple things about the Bio, first off a Single Lord could probably take on two or three exorcists(with the exception of extremely powerful ones), especially if it was one sent to eliminate a family so I find the need for Serfs and the like a bit excessive. I can buy into Eliana managing to kill one solely due to the magic of plot and if the Lord had been injured thanks to dealing with so many exorcists, plus I can also buy that divine being that formed the contract exhibited more power during that first contract.

Another thing though is that one on one with a Serf is rather difficult for beginning exorcists such as Students like your character to take on, however I'm willing to allow the fact of the equivalent since that does make up a probable way. However in a month that might be difficult, perhaps a year? What I don't understand is how she was necessarily in field combat so early on considering it's generally an upper level course that takes people outside. Then again you could chalk it up to special permission due to her unique circumstances. Finally define killing another Demon when she uses her wings cause that's a pretty wide range, do you mean another Serf level and how soon?

So yeah, everything else looks fine, just fix up the bio a bit and remove the term angel, just be more vague or something. Also the contract might be a bit too improbable, but I do love how you handled it.

******

I suppose due to this confusion of power levels I should just point out one thing to everyone, anything listed in higher level is just that a higher level. These are difficult creatures to take on, if a student could defeat them then don't you think this war would be over already?

My Other Profile

Name: Ren Midnight

Gender: Male

Age: 16

Type: Possessed Exorcist.

Specialization: Banisher, Classifier with Noon

Appearance: Ren stands rather tall for his age at 6’ 2’’, his body is well toned thanks to all his training, but due to his choice of clothing it is rather difficult to tell and hence he just appears to be rather lean. His skin is a rather dark tan, but he seems to lack any traits that would give away his ethnicity.

He has long, messy, black hair that falls down to the top of his neck. From the look of its appearance he obviously hasn’t bothered to keep it well groomed. He has however decided to stay clean shaven. He has pair of cool gray eyes which have been known to unnerve people, coupled with his social ineptness this hasn’t been the greatest combo. Despite that the few rare smiles he flashes, cause a feeling of purity and innocence to enter the room. A stark contrast to his otherwise hardened features, which even still are dampened by his otherwise youthful appearance.

He has chosen to not modify the School Uniform with the one exception of choosing to wear his own jacket instead of the School Jacket. This black jacket is much longer than the School Issued one, falling down to his knees. It has a collar at the top and he will generally leave the Jacket open, all though he has been known to zip it up every now and then.

A few more things he can be seen wearing is a baseball cap of some sort and a locket around his neck, inside of which are pictures of the two most influential people in his life: His adoptive father and his Exorcist Mentor. He is also constantly seen with a bag that appears like one for a camera tripod slung around his back, this is actually where he stores his Bow and Quiver. His daggers are generally kept concealed by the jacket he wears.

Personality: Ren prefers to keep to himself and has become rather ambivalent to most things. His self esteem is rather neutral as all throughout his life it used to be on a roller coaster. From originally an extremely low self esteem to the point of self loathing, to then an extreme confidence in his abilities, to once again being knocked down, Ren has lost it in him to care too much about others or himself. The existence of Noon only further serves to darken his mood.

However that’s not to say Ren doesn’t care about people, he does, rather deeply in fact. He hates seeing people oppressed or bullied and will do whatever it takes to save someone. It’s just that aside from that he really has lost any motivation towards any real goals in life, something which worries his old man deeply.

Ren is very much so a loner and is a horrible people person due to his limited interaction with others; however he is quite adept with speaking with and helping Spirits. Something he had to work hard for, due to their inherent fear of him.

Ren only has one thing he strives for in life, creating a balance between the Spirits and People. He is always trying to help both of them, despite his many shortcomings. All Ren wants is for a world where people don’t have to live in fear or be picked on. Hence Ren will go to great lengths to help others, regardless of who that person may be.

To sum things up, Ren appears cold and uncaring on the outside, but this more so due to a combination of not knowing how to express himself and not caring for most trivial things. On the inside he is someone who feels very attached to this world and wants to see it made a better place. He believes that no matter the bad, good people and things do exist. Sometimes you just need to look a little harder.

Biography: Ren was found at midnight on the steps of an orphanage in New York. The official who found him gave him his name using a nearby “For Rent” sign which had long ago faded away to only read “Ren.” Ren was given his last name via the time he was found.

Ren would never learn why it was his parents abandoned him, but his life in the orphanage wouldn’t be peaceful either. Despite the kindness of the staff, Ren had trouble making friends for one reason. He could see things others couldn’t. He could see past the Shroud.

Since as far back as he can remember, Ren has always been able to see them, and they would often play merciless tricks on him. This caused him to be very frightful as a child, and he was regarded as a freak. However whenever anyone would try and analyze for schizophrenia the Demons would always hide. Hence Ren would always pass any psych evaluations.

This led to him being seen plainly as a freak and cry baby by the other children. Hence it was that Ren was always alone. He never made a single a friend throughout his time in the Orphanage, not to mention parents didn’t want to adopt a freakish child like him. Especially not one who also seemed to have a string of misfortune following him.

Eventually Ren’s savior came in the form of the Orphanage Official who found him all those years ago. The man was quite old now, and had decided to retire. However he was disheartened by the fact that no one had adopted Ren, a boy he had seen the gentler traits in. Deciding to end the boy’s loneliness, the man adopted him on the day of his retirement, which also coincided with Ren’s tenth birthday, or rather the day he was found.

However despite the fresh environment and loving home, Ren’s life still wasn’t easy. Demons continued to assail him, and Ren was just as frightened of them as ever. Eventually even the old man had enough with the crack doctors who never found anything wrong. So it was he turned to more occult options and eventually came in contact with an Exorcist.

It was this Exorcist who taught Ren about Demons and the jobs of an Exorcist, and under her wing Ren soon trained to become an Exorcist and finally fight back against the Demons who had assailed him for so long, and as a bonus, Ren finally began to develop a sense of self esteem. He finally felt wanted and needed in the world.

For reasons unknown to the Senior Exorcist who had take Ren under her wing, Ren proved to be a remarkably quick study. Before he was twelve years old, Ren had already exorcised quite a few Demons, as well guided a few others to peace.

However while he tested to be quite effective in many of the different specializations of an Exorcist there was one specialization Ren couldn’t accomplish: Summoner. No matter how hard he tried, Demons were always driven away; it seemed something about him scared other Demons, which was why they originally assaulted him so much.

Neither Ren nor the other Exorcist could figure out what the cause of this was. Regardless, Ren decided to train twice as hard to make up for this deficit. While he realizes that not all Exorcists are capable of becoming Summoners and most only focus on a few Specializations, Ren still saw the lack of the ability to become a Summoner as a deficit. Eventually though Ren decided to specialize in the role of Banisher.

However Ren’s life would once more take a turn for the worse when the reason for his oddities finally came to light during a battle against a particularly malevolent Demon when Ren was 14. His mentoring Exorcist sacrificed herself during this confrontation to save Ren, and this event caused the true nature of Ren’s existence as an Exorcist was revealed.

When the death of his mentor caused Ren’s psyche to falter, the Demon residing in Ren finally awakened, possessing his body for the first time. The possessing Demon easily dispatched the Demon Ren had been fighting and would have gone on to continue a rampage of its own, had it not been for Ren’s over dominating willpower to not allow anyone to come to harm.

So it was that the Demon inside Ren was sealed back within him. However no matter what he tried, Ren was unable to exorcise the spirit and nor was any other Exorcist Ren secretly confided in. However through conversations with the Demon, who Ren took to calling Noon, after he refused to give his name, a name Noon rather detests, Ren learned that Noon had been dormant within his body for quite some time. It was Noon’s possession that allowed Ren to see other Demon, as well quickly master exorcising them. However Noon’s presence was always what prevented being a Summoner as well as what drove other Spirits to fear and detest Ren.

For two years now Ren had been forced to learn to live with Noon, and recently he decided to join Venator Academy as he feels he can best increase his abilities there, and the fact that possessed people are now being allowed in. He has been keeping a low profile as ever since his mentor died he doesn’t like working in groups. However the old man who adopted him is happy as he thought it’d be good for him to attend a school with people his own age for once, instead of just training with his mentor.

Skills/Abilities: Ren excels in many aspects of Exorcist knowledge, he also a great skill in utilizing his weapons and is quite good at conversing with Spirits. His training has left him in excellent shape and so he’s quite fast and agile. His strength isn’t shabby either, but it’s not on the level of people who focus mainly on strength training.

Noon’s possession of Ren caused Ren to develop an aura of sorts which agitates Demon around causing them to fear or hate him, sometimes even both. This aura only deeply affects weak Demon, stronger Demons may feel slightly uneasy around him and the strongest will feel nothing at all.

Weapons: Ren’s weapon of choice is a long bow and specially designed arrows meant to travel further and faster. Both were specially designed by his Mentor. When forced into close combat Ren will utilize a pair of carved obsidian daggers. Both were designed and created using holy methods making them more effective at dealing with Demons.

Weaknesses: Ren is a terrible social person and hence it’s rather difficult for him to make friends. The agitation Noon causes Demons which can cause him problems making it harder for him to deal with them. His mental state isn’t the best as he’s constantly fighting with the Demon in his head and at any moment he fears he could lose control to Noon. He’s also not that experienced and doesn’t any real powers. His aura also makes close up stealth with a Demon nigh impossible.

Possessing Demon

Name: Noon

Gender: Identifies with Male

Type: Demon

Classification: Unknown

Appearance: Unknown, as Noon hasn’t revealed himself in any physical form. However in the rare moments when he takes over control of Ren’s body, Ren does look slightly different.

For one thing Noon asserts himself with a smug sense of self confidence. This can be seen in the way he walks, his posture being much straighter and he tends to use the height of Ren’s body to almost make it seem like he’s towering over you, even if he’s shorter than you. Ren also seems to lose much of his youthful innocence when Noon is in control; he’s hardened features coming out much more prominently.

Also the first thing Noon does when in control is fix up Ren’s hair. He’ll use a comb if possible, but if not will use his hands to straighten Ren’s hair. Slicking it back and allowing the excess to hang much more regally down his neck.

In terms of clothing he’ll take off both the jacket and hat Ren normally wears, and will straighten up whatever other pieces of clothing Ren is wearing. He jokes with Ren that the day he gains full control the first thing he’s going to do is buy a nice suit.

Personality: While Noon may be a malevolent Demon of sorts, that really isn’t the proper term to describe him. By all means he does mean to cause harm, but often it seems that crimes can be for his own sick amusement. He enjoys tormenting and cracking jokes at Ren’s expense whenever the opportunity may arise.

He is rather quick to shoot down the more idealistic views Ren may bring up, and will often point out to Ren the low odds of accomplishing a task. Other times, when the fancy takes him, he will act like the reverse of a conscience, whispering terrible ideas to Ren. However if that wasn’t odd enough he will even sometimes speak like the stereotypical Angels and Devils depicted on the shoulders of cartoon characters, debating amongst himself the finer points of one of Ren’s actions. Suffice to say this drives Ren nuts.

However there are even times when Noon will lend a hand to Ren, even when it doesn’t serve any particular benefit. Such as advising him with a good strategy to help save someone, or telling him what to say in a tricky situation.

Unpredictable is probably the best word to describe Noon, for even after two years of living with him, he still manages to surprise Ren with his actions. The only thing Ren had been able to figure out, is that Noon won’t allow him to die. Despite Noon's constant and vehement denial the fact, Ren is positive that Noon is unable to survive on his own, even within the Demon World. As to why, that is just another mystery of Noon Ren hasn’t puzzled out.

One thing Noon will do in combat situations is act as a Classifier helping Ren combat deadlier foes.

Biography: Noon is rather silent about his past and will quickly shut down the topic anytime Ren brings it up. What is known is that he possessed Ren the moment he was born, how or why is unknown. However something was wrong with the possession and he was forced to lay dormant inside Ren until an intense emotion awoke him. However even when dormant, his very presence affected Ren; from Ren’s ability to see Spirits to said Spirits often attacking Ren, all of that was due to Noon’s presence. After awakening he has remained inside Ren’s head, often pestering the boy, but all the while awaiting the day when he can fully seize the body.

Weaknesses: As Noon doesn’t actually have a physical form he lacks any new physical form, possessing only those of Ren’s. The fact that he doesn’t actually have a body is another weakness.

KK, I can do that. :P

Edited the profile, important bits being:

Contract is now 120 days for Serf-level power amount to be reached via Demon killing

Wings now use either 1 more Lesser Demon or bird sacrifice per use, have 45 days to repay after use.

The word 'Angel' has been carefully removed, replaced with just nothing or 'mysterious being'.

As long as Lesser Demon refers to something a bit more substantial than just the one's possessing bugs =P, Eliana is Approved.

EDIT: A Quick Announcement: If most people are able to have posted as their characters by later today I will go ahead and have the first major plot post regarding the School Assembly. This will be preceded by an in-game announcement over the intercoms telling all students and faculty to head to the arena complex for the Assembly. If you don't think you can post by tonight you don't have to worry either, there isn't much you would need to reply, there's just stuff you'll have to read.

Alright that's that.

Vincent looks good now, Vince is Approved.

I have to wonder about Eleven though, since Summoning is a bit of a gamble as you don't know what spirit will be drawn to you and which one you'll be able to convince to aid with you its hard to imagine one being constantly summoned and dismissed. Plus most Exorcists develop strong bonds with the beings they've summoned, just due to the time they spend with them.

Also could you elaborate a bit more on how powerful Misayo's illusion abilities are?

Misayo can create illusions of small objects (such as food items) as well as disguise certain objects as other things. She can only maintain one illusion at a time and can't create/disguise something bigger than she is in her fox form.

Also, would her disguising her tails be more like partial invisibility?

As for Eleven, he's not being summoned by the same person each time. His class as a low tier elemental means that he gets summoned a lot by noobs and eventually more ambitious exorcists will move on to more powerful beings, eventually leaving Eleven behind. As well, even if he does gain a strong bond with an exorcist in the past, they will eventually die, so he would be left behind all the same, meaning that he'd be "up for grabs".

Disguising tails can fit under Illusion Casting, it just means one more place she has to divert concentration hence making it harder to case illusions while disguising her tails. Now with those limits on her power in mind, Misayo is Approved.

That's not the point I was getting to about Eleven, the point is that with so many Demons existing that could be summoned the odds of him being summoned by more than two or three Exorcists is low, especially for a low level Elemental of which there are so many. Higher levels are rarer so obviously there are more repeats, but a low level, that's a rather large group.

Name: Katherine Reynolds
Gender: Female
Age: Twenty
Type: Noble
Specialization: Vampire
Appearance: Katherine stands at 6’3 having won something of a genetic lottery in the height department. She’s fit and lithe and can tell she takes her physical abilities quite seriously. Her skin is quite pale, likely a byproduct of her vampire heritage. Her black hair is neatly trimmed, with the majority of it being tied up in a ponytail behind her head. Her face tends towards the bony side. Her nose is of average side, though a small scar runs along the side of it. Her features tend towards the sharp and angular and just a tad bit predatory.
She has a pair of ruby-red eyes that serve as a further indication of her heritage. Her training regime has ensured she remains fit and ready for action and this is reflected in her movements. No movement is wasted and she seems constantly on edge, always on the lookout for trouble. This has become a habit to her, and she’s barely aware she’s doing it. She sports two sharply pointed fangs in her mouth as well, further evidence of her species.
She’s made no modification to the school uniforms, though she has a few more practical articles of clothing hidden away in case of trouble. She wears her uniform in the formal style, her collar tucked in and her jacket buttoned. The only article of clothing that isn’t within regulations is a small gold necklace with a sapphire embedded in, a gift from her father.
Personality: Katherine has excellent control over her emotions and isn’t prone to stress, angst, bursts or rage or anything of that sort. Her mind is disciplined and precise; she adjusts to circumstances quickly and forms plans to deal with unexpected occurrences. In short, her default attitude is one of rational adjustment. She might panic for a few moments, but soon after that, she’ll be utterly under control. She shows emotions like any well-adjusted person, but she doesn’t let them consume her. In the battle between cold rationality and intense emotion, rationality almost always wins in her mind.
She has little to no patience with those she views as feeble whiners however and is quick to show disdain and utter annoyance with their antics. She won’t go out of her way to insult them, but she will avoid them, if they persist in bothering her, she will tell them in, in loving detail, just why she doesn’t want to be around them. Yeah, live sucks sometime, guess what, whining about it or dwelling on it doesn’t solve anything. If they’re too dim-witted to realize that, she isn’t going to be dragged down with them.
Her approach to problems tends to be rational and practical-why enter into a swordfight with someone when a pistol could end the battle in your favor within a few seconds? She views honor as quaint….and utterly worthless. Metaphysical concepts like “the balance between good and evil” annoy her to no end. There is, as far as she is concerned, no fate but what we make. There is a weakness in her approach of course, if she doesn’t like what she’s hearing, she’ll probably shutdown and ignore any attempts to force her to listen….and the person telling her this, no matter how intelligent they may be, will probably be filed under “insane loon” in her mental library for some time. She also views those prone to angst and emotional extremes utterly useless-meaning that her leadership abilities, however much her other qualities might affect them, are compromised.
Biography: Katherine has an interesting history, she hails from a greatly weakened clan of vampires and her current existence is evidence of that weakness. The corporation her family owns, Blackstone Incorporated, had been expanding into Africa, their private PMC, BlackWatch Security Services, had been fighting several warlords over the possession of various diamond mines as part of a bargain with a local government. Little did they know these warlords and the vast majority of their forces were Vampires. After the first few skirmishes however, that conclusion became inescapable. The two years of battle that followed saw a bloody clash between BlackWatch, their corporate masters and the Vampire clan.
In the end however, the clan was crushed, their abilities and weapons no match for the professionalism and technology of BlackWatch. However, Katherine, a two-month old baby at the time, survived the clash and was adopted by the heads of Blackstone, a Jefferson and Samantha Reynolds. Blackstone, being led by reasonably intelligent beings, did everything they could to bury the evidence of their enemies, reasoning that if no one had revealed the existence of the supernatural by now, something was happening to people who tried to go public with the information, thus, the entire incident was hushed up. Blackstone continued to probe into the secret world of supernatural however.
Katherine was doted upon by her adopted family, they were well-aware of her…dietary needs and their wealth saw to it that she didn’t go hungry in that respect. Her childhood was happy, if education intensive. Her parents spared no expense in ensuring she received the best education possible. However, as they uncovered more and more knowledge regarding the world that they had inadvertently stumbled upon, they were faced with the reality of their situation. The supernatural was a threat, and one much greater than they had initially realized. Thus, at the age of sixteen, Katherine entered into training with tutors from BlackWatch, charged with teaching her various types of combat and ensuring she could defend herself as competently as any soldier.
Her training was more or less complete (insofar as was possible, she isn’t a super soldier by any measure of the word, nor is she extremely skilled, she is competent, nothing more and nothing less) at the age of twenty. By then, Blackstones investigations into the supernatural had drawn the attention of the academy. Her parents, after some discussion with Katherine, the trio decided that the information she could gain from attending the academy far outweighed the risks. Katherine is treating her attendance as a mission, and her true loyalties are not in doubt. This will be her first in the academy and, as yet, she has not yet ceased her aging. There will be time for that later.
Skills/Abilities: Katherine is disciplined and well-trained. She has use most ranged weapons competently and she is a capable opponent in hand-to-hand combat. She isn’t the master of any particular style, rather embracing the concept of “anything goes”. She’ll bite, kick, headbutt, pinch, whatever works. Honor is for the dead insofar as she is concerned. She is an intelligent, pragmatic planner, as would be expected of someone raised in a corporate household. She has no skill with swords or knives-reasoning that if she has a gun, she won’t need them. She has the standard Vampire abilities, a healing factor, the ability to stop the process of age and such as. She is also developing the allure ability, though it is quite weak at the moment. Functionally, this means someone is a little more likely to follow her orders.
Weapons: Her pride and joy is a Heckler & Koch MP5, with a few special modifications attached. Namely an infrared sight and the ability to handle several different types of ammo, something that will no doubt come in handy if even half the supposed properties of silver are reality. Needless to say, this weapon is only used in extreme situations or missions; it would hardly do to parade around a school with it. In noncombat situations, she carries a Heckler & Koch VP70 inside her jacket. Not loaded of course, but the ammo is within reach at all times.
Weaknesses: Typical vampire weaknesses, wooden stakes will harm her and she can’t quite heal the wounds caused by them correctly. Garlic and various other things like it will cause her difficulty. In addition, she gets sunburns very easily. No matter how much sunscreen she wears. Fire is extremely effective against her, even small amounts can cause her great harm. As noted above, her attitudes mean that her leadership skills are compromised.

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.
