Part 1: The Meeting

Slate walked into a room with six other Toa already in it.

Slate was a Toa of Sonics. He was six feet tall and heavily muscled. He wore heavy protosteel armor. He had yellow eyes and a black heartlight. He carried a scythe as his weapon. Unlike most other inhabitants of his world he was mostly flesh and very little of his body was mechanical.

Many years had passed since the tournament and the strange monsters. In that time he had destroyed his mask of intangibility and reforged his original mask of telepathy.

He sat down at the large table and looked around. On the one side of the table sat Illume a Toa of Light, Noir the Umbrakinetic Toa and Kane a mentally damaged Toa of Sonics. He had once trained Kane as an apprentice. He had even turned Kane into a Toa.

On the other side of the table sat Bellum a Toa of Water and Astral a super soldier Toa with powers similar to a ghost.

And sitting by the window was Toxin. He was a Toa of Poison Gas and apparently he was the only one that existed. He was also a Dark Hunter or at least he used to be. No one could really tell with this Toa, he was so different.

Toxin wore a lime green and white suit of armor that was heavily damaged. His mask allowed him the power of camouflage, very useful for a hunter. He had grey eyes with a red heartlight. The armor on his hands had fallen off and the flesh on his hands was burnt and scarred. He used to carry a machete but that had been destroyed in battle. It was remarkable at he could even stand after all the damage his body has sustained and yet he could still out perform most other Toa.

Two more beings walked into the room, the brothers Sol and Marx. They called themselves Solar Avatars but they looked much like Toa. Only they were slightly taller and had large birdlike wings that allowed them to fly.

Sol wore gold, silver and white armor and had blue eyes. His wings were covered in silver, metallic feathers. He carried a katana.

Marx had lustrous armor that was a mix of purple and black and he had red eyes. His wings were covered in black, metallic feathers. And his weapon was an obsidian long sword.

Sol had power over light. Marx controlled gravity and shadows. Sol had immense endurance and Marx was extremely strong. Both brothers had numerous other powers.

After greeting each other the beings started their meeting.

“We called you here to ask for help. Our traveling thru space-time has woke up a creature. We can’t let it get out of interdimensional space. Our scans and simulations show that if this monster can reach a star it can absorb it and grow far too powerful. It wouldn’t be that such of a problem if it were not so violent and hostile.” Spoke Sol.

“We have met each other in the past. I know together you seven will be able to bring down this creature.” Said Marx.

Hours passed as they spoke and argued. But eventually they formed a plan.

Part 2: Hatred

As the seven Toa went into interdimensional space the two brothers stood guard of the portals from their home dimension.

Bellum and Astral ended up on large chunk of land that floated in the space between worlds. They never noticed the presence of another being. But that being noticed them.

It had only hate in its heart so it spread this to the two Toa. And then it watched them fight.

Astral howled in rage and Bellum launched fire at him. He turned intangible and leapt at her. He became tangible as his fist slammed against her mask. She fell down.

Astral’s head was surrounded in a sphere of water and he struggled as the land under his feet turned to mud and started to swallow him. He again became intangible and escaped. Only to be covered in flame.

Astral had one power he never wanted to use but he was so mad, he didn’t want to die. And so he used it. His body glowed and Bellum screamed in pain as her life force was torn from her body. She let out one last scream as fire erupted from her body. When it was over Bellum was dead, reduced to ash and Astral lay dying, questioning why this happen? Why did he kill his friend?

The creature appeared in front of him and drank up what was left of Bellum’s form and her powers. Now corporeal the creature ate Astral.

Part 3: Neutralized

Illume, Noir and Kane stood on a strange bit of land with ruins on it that floated in the space between worlds. They were lost and hoped to find something of use here.

The creature flew down and hid out of sight. It watched and then again spread its rage.

Almost instantly Illume and Noir started to argue.

“I know what you are thinking! Noir you stupid, pathetic fool why do you even bother with the shadows. They are evil and bad and not to be used. Well you wouldn’t know.” screamed Noir.

“cool dude! I don’t care.” yelled Illume. “No wait I do. You are a monster. Just like the Makuta. You turn to the dark to hide from yourselves, to hide from the truth. But you can’t anymore. The light will cleanse your sins.”

Illume shot lasers from his hands. Noir swiftly dodged them.

“The light is weak. The dark is everywhere. Even in you Toa of Light.” replied Noir. A giant fist of darkness lifted Illume into the air. Illume shot lasers from his eyes and Noir lost concentration and the hand of darkness vanished.

They kept shouting at each other. They kept using bigger and bigger elemental attacks. And the ruins they stood on got more and more damaged.

Oddly enough Kane’s mind was far too damaged to be affected by the creature’s power. Even he saw the foolishness in fighting. He ran out between the two other Toa. He started to say something but was cut down but alternating blasts of light and shadow. The other two didn’t even notice Kane die. They kept fighting.

After a while they both were exhausted but still full of anger. Each released one last giant blast of their element. This time the attacks hit. Light banished shadow and shadow vanquished light.

The creature walked out from its hiding place. It drained what energies it could from the three corpses, turning them to dust. And then it flew off.

Part 4: Hunter

Somehow Toxin ended up on a forested place in this strange place. He pursued various monsters, hunting them out of habit. He could only detect one last beast. It seemed to be a large cat like creature and from its appearance it seemed to be part machine.

He leapt out of the tree and landed in front of the beast. With one fluid movement he killed it. His mind so lost in the hunt he didn’t notice something else.

The creature grabbed Toxin by the throat and lifted him into the air. It launched a series of punches from its other three arms. Pain overwhelmed Toxin as he lost consciousness for the last time. The creature drank what was left of his energies and the corpse turned to dust.

Part 5: Explosive

Slate stood guard of the portal to the outside world from the inside.

The fiendish creature had finally found a way to escape. It flew towards Slate. Slate couldn’t looked directly at the fiend it was just too terrible. Using telepathy Slate read the fiend’s thoughts and saw what it had done. He knew it must be killed.

Slate he been given a special weapon. It was powered by energy and could be fed more energy and it could also explode. He hoped it would be enough to stop the fiend. He whispered his goodbyes as he fed all his energies into the weapon and then caused it to detonate.

Slate remembered all he had done in his last moment. He had no regrets.

A smile appeared on the fiend’s face. Its last thoughts were. I am finally free. It was at peace.

The explosion killed both Slate and the fiend. And it shook the place between worlds.

Part 6: The End

Sol and Marx knew what had happened. They heard through the communicators. Their friends had died. And they knew the monster was no more.

They mourned the lost and thought of the past and of the future before returning their thoughts to the present.

Much had happened in their travels. They met so many other beings, visited countless other worlds and did things they hadn’t ever dreamed of. But now time was up.

They looked up into the sky at the twin suns as everything started to vanish including them.

It was over. Like a bubble being popped by a pin the story had ended. This world was no more than a memory.

Author's Note: This is a final story for my last text based RPG characters. It has been on my mind a lot and I need to let go. I'm not the best at making stories but this story needed to be finished. I need to let go.
