joev14
This is a fantastic model. I love the extensive use of technic pieces. It looks more smooth than you'd expect it to, considering the lack of actual bionicle parts. I disagree with you about preferring a green akaku, I think the huna looks a lot better. The black/silver is an awesome match, similar to the way Matoro and Nuparu Mahri had silver masks that still looked good. Just curious, why the chain? It almost looks like it's meant to be a fuel tube for the sword, but I'm sure that can't be its purpose. My only nitpick is that I feel like the knees should have a little more bulk, they look a little exposed. Also, the gray ball joints on the shoulders should be black. Chro
Thanks! The chain acts just the same in the model as it would in real life- tethering the sword to Ierro. In theory he'd be able to use it like a harpoon blade of sorts.I would have armored the knees more if my collection of green parts allowed for it, but all I really have are Nuva chestplates, Nuva shoulers, Mata hands, and Rahkshi armor (which is technically not even the same color). The balljoints in the shoulders are black so I'm not sure what you're referring to. hachiroku
I like it. The color combo matches its mask. Maybe you can add a wing at the back to conpensate the bulkyness it would look better but that is just me. All in all it is really a nice moc. Hmm, perhaps you're right. :notsure:And I apologize, but I only have grey Hordika necks, no black ones right now. I like it. The color combo matches its mask. If he were lighter and thinner it would make sense to give him wings and I'd consider it.
