Hey, look, it's Alexander and Gill back from the depths of XMDD.

Yaaaaay

Name: Alexander Brockway

Codename: X-404 (Formerly); Error

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Faction: Weapon X

Power(s): Heavily enhanced mental faculties-he has photographic memory, can run extensive calculations through his head with ease, and can easily use logic, induction, and deduction to piece together anything, let alone numerous other abilities...though only in his own head, he can't do anything with others' heads.

Underarm Bone Dagger: Similar to in Assassin's Creed, Alexander can shoot a claw out from his wrists to stab somebody with - however, with him, it's natural and inbuilt. His bones are much, much harder than with most beings, nearly as hard as iron, and so he can use this power as a weapon if needed. The bone daggers have a slight curve to them, such that, where he to come up from under somebody at a slightly different angle than with most attacks, it would curve right into their heart.

Multi-Spectrum Sight: Finally, Alexander can see in all spectrums of light, from microwaves up to gamma waves, with a simple change in concentration.

Appearance: Alexander has a prominent nose, with sharp eyes and other features. As well, he has a close-cropped beard, and light, wavy hair. Where before he quite often would dress in a manner similar to a Roman Emperor might have, now he simply wears clothes that most others would consider normal...if a little more formal than average.

Weapons: His natural daggers.

Skills: Anything requiring any sort of mental prowess-mainly, with technology. After that, specifically, computerized technology. He finds hacking to be a great sport.

Personality: Alexander is, generally, a rather hyperactive individual, constantly jumping from task to task as though his life depends on his ability to do everything at once. Still, he can manage to make himself focus on one task at a time, and is generally a rather caring individual who has pretty much given up on trying to tell jokes.

Weakness: Alexander isn't particularly trained in fighting at all, having worked as a computer hacker and information repository most of his life, not as a warrior or something like that.

Biography: Currently, most of Alexander's life story is unknown - even to him. Before, he had been with Weapon X as long as he could remember; after he left Weapon X, he worked for a short time with the Hellfire club, helped for a short time with SHIELD (helping get his current partner, Gill Bates, out of the computer systems and into a robot to use for a body) to stop a terrorist attack (targeting them), and then he decided to go on a cruise to Europe and back with Gill. After an amount of time taken to help get him used to the normal world - and manage to work his former insanity out of the equation - he's finally decided to come back to New York and the USA in general...pretty much concurrently with the attack of a bunch of big explosive robots. Alexander's only real response to that: "Bollocks."

Name: Gill Bates

Age: Just over a year.

Gender: N/A, Male Personality

Faction: Error, His Creator, None others.

Power(S): Great strength, ability to, if taken from his current body, infect and control a computer. After that, his memory is much clearer and more easily-accessed than, say, a Human's...mainly because he's a computer program in a robot body.

Appearance: Tall, but slightly hunched; missing most of his internal organs, skin, or a rib cage; mostly metal, with some motors at the various joints to give it movement power greater than a human's and a range of movement equal to that; reflective 'eyes' placed at two points on the frame, and within the centre of it, a shielded computer system with vocoder.

Weapons: Original robot hands have had retractible claws added.

Skills: Lifting heavy objects, interacting with computers, ripping things apart, annoying Error.

Personality: Generally seems rather bored with everything around, though he certainly derives a level of pleasure from teasing Alexander.

Weakness: Break the CPU, and, well...Or somehow find him in standby mode and install an antivirus that is stronger than Gill is as a virus, and he'll be pretty well screwed.
Bio: Originally created to screw up the SHIELD Agency's Helicarrier, Gill Bates was rather quickly taken out of the computer systems by a man called Error. After a quick moment of rifling through Error's memories Gill named himself with his rather pun-worthy name, and not long after that, he ended up removed from Error's mind into the robotic body he inhabits now. Then he went on a cruise with that same Error (AKA Alexander), learned that water wasn't good for electrical creatures, and found out that there were other robots messing the world than just him. His thoughts: "That just isn't cool."

Alright, I think I'm going to try my hand at this extremely popular game. Incoming profile;

“We live in no world of guns and knives, camarade. You are fighting gods and monsters, and as a man, no less.”
“You underestimate the power of man. Toutes les choses meurent. Dieux ne font pas exception, mon ami.”

“Peut-être. Je n'ai aucune preuve de vos compétences; me considérer incertain.”

“Vous verrez bientôt la preuve. I am a professional, camarade. There are none better.”

Name: Khalid Nicéphore du Saint-Just

Codename: Meurtrier du Dieux, or, dans la langue anglaise, Godslayer

Gender: Male

Age: 36

Loyalties/Faction: Neutral / Independent

Power(S): It's debatable whether Khalid has any powers per se; physically he is a fit, capable human being, not an Olympiad, just above average. His mental and cognitive properties, however, are of a previously-unseen sort. Khalid does not feel, he computes; he thinks and reacts unlike any human or machine known, which brings us to his pseudo-power: Mental Clarity. Khalid assesses situations, objects and people as if it were simple addition; he amasses visible data based on their appearance, cross-references it with the current psychological profile they exhibit, and reacts accordingly. In the midst of combat, he is accurate and calm, mentally controlling his heartbeat ratio so his hand doesn't shake, ignoring pain, and calculating the current advantages and disadvantages his positioning allows him. Khalid does, admittedly, possess a single interesting physical feature; he does not exude any identifiable somatic trace (acid-removed fingertips help, but it goes beyond that; he leaves no olfactory, gustational, or somatosensory traces, apparently through sheer willpower), baffling law enforcers and improved-sensory-apparatus wielders alike. Telepaths (especially emotives) find it extremely difficult to read his mind, as if it were in a previously unencountered foreign language (tl;dr Improved mental abilities (most importantly very high resistance to pain, able to consciously drive himself to do things that most people are too squeamish to attempt), reasonably shielded mind).

Appearance: Khalid is a strikingly average individual, completely inconspicuous and irremovable from crowds. From his dark, plainly-styled hair, to his fallow complexion, everything about Khalid is moderate and unobtrusive. He wears plain, simple clothes, and takes care to act normal when social interacting with other persons. The only feature of his appearance that is noteworthy is the color and intensity of his eyes; they are of the starkest blue-green, a kaleidoscope of diamond and emerald.

Weapons: Khalid is constantly customising and purchasing equipment specific for his contract, so nothing is ever concrete. Often, he carries a heavily modified captive bolt pistol (in all honesty, it's so powerful, it's almost a SWAT-esque hydraulic jack) for assorted uses, a suppressed Remington 11-87 shotgun (the ammo he uses varies from contract, is normally designed to exploit his target's weaknesses). The bottom line is that he is never entirely unprepared, and always a threat.

Skills: Khalid may not be capable of flight, punching through stone, or emitting twin beams of heat vision from his eyes, but he seems every bit as dangerous as those who can. He kills with the skill of a virtuoso of violence, using intelligence, timing, and disabling strikes to stun, kill, or injure even the most durable of heroes and villains. He is a veritable expert in marksmanship (and generally combat of any sort), urban reconnaissance and espionage, disguise-through-physical-normality, and keeping a crime-scene mystifying clean.

Personality: How do you describe a monster? Heartless? Dreaded? Khalid is both, but such a lexicon does him no justice; he is completely psycho/sociopathic in every sense of the word, suffers from schizoid personality disorder, and yet, inexplicably, can hold a conversation with anyone, be it of a sociable manner, or an explanation of himself before he turns your head into a painting composed of crimson slush and vermillion fragments. He does nothing that does not service him, not a single irrational or illogical action in the entirety of his history. With an intellect such as his, you would expect him to engage in mental chess games with his targets. He does not; he kills them when he has the chance, and never humors their attempts at escape. As you see, monster is not a powerful enough term; even monsters have occasional mental short-comings, weaknesses or combat fetishes. He is Machiavellian, reminiscent of Millon's Remote Schizoid classification, and sadistic, though never rash or impulsive, a true abyssal terror, a veritable eldritch abomination in bipedal, homo sapien form.

Weakness: Khalid is such a strange being that, even if they can not understand him, psychic beings, upon even the slightest of contact, are instantly aware of just how mentally bizarre, (and, if they have any common sense, how big of a potential threat) he is. Also, his sadism and schizoid personality traits leave him without allies or even those willing to work with him for their own gain. He is a lone wolf, so to speak, and will, no doubt, one day be destroyed by his selfish solitude.

Bio: Born in Marseille, Khalid Nicéphore du Saint-Just was raised by a respectable family, his mother the daughter of a wealthy Tunisian landowner, his father a city official with a lustrous ancestry. From a very young age, his strangeness was noted, if not admitted, though as soon as he reached the age of coherence, Khalid, with telling discipline and mental determination, restrained himself from a gluttonously schizoid lifestyle, and acted as the son and sociable child his family required. His life continued slowly and boringly; he passed all classes with B average, though capable of far more, was decent at whatever sport he played, and talked and interacted to the normal number of students, even if he never befriended or became intimate with them. He was normal, average, and absolutely inconspicuous; the idea that he was mutant, or in some way or form anything besides the average adolescent a baffling concept. After acquiring a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the city university, Khalid suddenly disappeared, leaving Marseille and it's calanches and streets behind, in favor of a lifestyle befitting his impassivity. His first job as a hitman was to assassinate a corporal rival without leaving any physical evidence. Using nothing but the man's own shoelaces, Khalid performed the task so well he found himself an underworld notable, and is now, over ten years later, still in no shortage of potential contracts. He has a reputation for killing mutants and super-powered, despite being arguably physically human, and has a reputation among hitmen both humans and mutants as an avatar of Death itself.

Name: Layla Kharalambos
Codename: N/A
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Loyalties/Faction: N/A
Power(s): Repulsion of objects.
Weapon(s): Palm Laser (Small circular object that shoots laser beams)
Skill(s): Master of disguise and clothing genius (can change clothes on a whim and find herself rather elaborate disguises); skilled amateur magician; crack shot
Appearance: A tan young woman of unknown ethnicity (although possibly hailing from the eastern Mediterranean), Layla possesses dark brown hair tied up in a bun and striking green eyes. With a face that can be described as somewhat young, and a slim build that complements her height of a metre sixty, the woman would be considered to be a rather pretty girl, albeit one that looks younger than her actual age.

Clothing-wise, she is an avid fan of dressing up in many different fabrics, whether ridiculous or not, although she is well-known for her fantastical hat: an orange top hat with flowers dotted across its entire surface.
Personality: Upbeat and energetic, Layla is religiously devoted to enjoying her life to the greatest extent, preferring to do things she likes (television and trying on ridiculous clothing) rather than actually do what she has been ordered. Although considered by some to be flighty, she possesses a rather sharp mind, one that works quickly to find ways to benefit herself, a trait which she constantly hones in the service of her current organisation. Prone to spouting off at any given moment, she is a great socialiser, enjoying the company of others.
Biography: Layla is a magic-user, one whose talents fell into the field of pushing things away with her mighty powers. The presence of these powers would motivate her for much of her early life, the young woman having been rather disappointed by her inability to pull off anything else, such as summoning tigers to do her bidding or create food on a whim. Indeed, it was because of this that she took up the cause of a magician, an entertainer who would pull rabbits out of a hat to the awe of her audience. She was considered a prodigy in such arts, and was scouted out by an organisation to oversee one of their projects due to her skills and mastery of her repulsion magic.

Weaknesses: Layla is a fleshy human and is not exactly an epitome of physical ability.

Since the Osbourne/Dark Avengers stuff seems to actually have a place in the plot now, probably time I got this guy some formal approval.

Name: Caleb Kyles
Codename: Redcap
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Faction: Oscorp
Power(S): Peak levels of human strength and durability. A punch to the face from someone with top-tier super-strength will still send him flying and probably knock a few teeth out but it won't reduce his skull to fine vapour like it would your average joe. A minor boost to his brain power also gives him faster reflexes though not true super-speed.
Appearance: Out of costume Kyles is a fairly well-built man, the frame of someone who's simply played a lot of intense sports. His eyes are permanently set into a glare and hair a carefully maintained as a crew cut, overall giving the impression of someone who was carved or chiselled into life rather than born. It doesn't help that he has some sort of skin condition that gives him scale-like rash in places, almost like some minor case of ichthyosis. As you might expect he keeps these covered up, though the real reason is because the rashes are a reaction to cybernetic implants grafted into his body, and staying covered up hides where they erupt from his skin.

In costume he has the usual goblin 'uniform' of a mask and jumpsuit covered by a mail tunic, though the skin of this goblin is grey and smoother than usual, almost like a dolphin. The mail tunic is black, but has a hooded half-cloak in vivid red held in place by a bandoleer than runs diagonally across his torso. His gloves are likewise red with little jack-o-lantern decals on the back of the hands. On a similar note is the pauldron on his left shoulder (the one not covered by the cloak) which is fashioned to appear like a sneering pumpkin.
Weapons: His gauntlets can create and throw proton bombs (his variation on the usual pumpkin grenades), orbs of gathered proton particles which release their stored energies in a powerful detonation upon impact. A series of bat-wing shaped flechettes are stored on the bandoleer.

He also has the traditional gargoyle-esque glider which has a pair of repulser rays built into its eyes as its sole armament. One of the boons from the implants is that he has limited mental control over the glider, able to summon or steer it with his mind.
Skills: Formidable hand-to-hand fighter.
Personality: A follower, not a leader. He's quite happy to go along doing his own thing (in his free time he builds model ships for instance) but if someone in the bizarre hierarchy of authority he maintains in his head gives him an order then he snaps to it right away. He has such a lack of assertiveness that he doesn't appear to desire anything; not money, not power, not respect. He doesn't want, or crave or hanker or anything that might give his enemies some leverage, which makes him astonishingly dangerous. As close as you could get to a living weapon. This has not been lost on him, and he has begun more and more to see Redcap as the real him, and Kyles as the mask he wears while not being Redcap.
Weakness: While he's stronger and tougher than your average human, human is still what he is. The implants also make him a little more susceptible to electrical attacks.
Bio: Kyles is an ex-soldier who saw action in the public conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq along with a few not-so-public conflicts in Madripoor and Symkaria. He was given an honourable discharge on medical grounds, after being deemed psychologically unfit to continue serving in the US armed forces. Some form of mild post-traumatic stress disorder that had to potential to become something altogether worse if he continued serving. Returning to his home country, Kyles found work as a security guard working for Oscorp, a company which quite liked their security guards to be, you know, competent. For his part Kyles liked the methodical regimentation and ordered lifestyle, a useful mid-way point between being a soldier and becoming a civilian.

He also found it boring as all Hel.

Nothing ever really happened as no-one was stupid enough to try and raid Oscorp high office. Because it's Oscorp. So when a shady superior offered him a chance to achieve something more than watch Oscorp's door he jumped at it.

Some of the top brass had got a hold of something called Project Centipede, an experiment as dangerous as it was desperate, distilling any number of methods to make an superman into one concentrated dose. The original 'recipe' had a botch-job attempt at the Captain America super-soldier serum treated with gamma radiation and regulated round the body using Kree technomorphic implants (the segmented appearance of which grants the project its name), with the Extremis technovirus acting as a biological reboot switch to prevent the host body rejecting the implants. However since Extremis has a tendency to destroy those who use it, the Oscorp scientists used a much weaker dosage to prevent their test subjects imploding in the first few seconds. To compensate, they had to replace the makeshift and potentially unstable Erskine serum with something more tried and true: globulin green. Aka the Green Goblin formula. This did not strike them as an incredibly bad idea because they were Oscorp scientists, paid for results not morals.

Kyles dutifully went through the surgeries needed to implant the Centipede devices, though there were some…complications. The dose of Extremis was too diminished, only just capable of keeping him alive in face of all the chemicals pumped into his body, it wasn't able to add a healing factor as expected. Not even to clear up the ugly-looking skin reactions around the Centipede's external components. Nevertheless, Kyles was in fact alive and functioning at peak physical levels, much better than the previous half a dozen or so trials. So Norman Osbourne put the guy to work. Just simple smash and grab stuff to start with. If a bit of Oscorp tech needed to be conveniently stolen with plausible deniability, Kyles was the man to bring in. And who was more likely to steal Oscorp tech than a guy dressed as a Goblin? This was when he was given the iconic garb and oh so recognisable glider. A convenient masquerade, a supervillain on speed dial, someone who could enter a situation, break everything and then leave with the pieces worth the most.

Weeeeeell, looks like my plans to make a unified magical theory just went out the window.

I'll just be burning my notes. Pardon. :P

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.

Nah. Not your fault. No one was doing anything with magic-so I started making this insanely complex system and was working with the few people who did have magic characters to intergrate them all into a system. Well, spellcasting characters at least.

Theeeeeen everyone else had the same idea about doing something with magic and I just kinda tossed my head back swore revenge and laughed in way that most certainly means I'll be summoning Shoggoths to tear your body asunder was completely good natured. :P

I *am* still waiting on those three spells to be approved though. :P

And I may or may not have Mi-Go poised to storm certain houses.

I will not confirm or deny that I am seconds away from ordering them to attack.
