Marvel Rebirth: Discussion

Name: "Horace" Xiaohou Sun-Hammer

Codename: Monkey King

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Faction: Neutral

Power(S): Horace has the ability to make up to four physical clones of himself at a time, that he can work in tandem with. They possess all his skills and abilities (minus additional cloning) and will say whatever he wishes them to. On the downside, whenever he summons his clones back to himself, any injuries they've received will be transferred to him. Thus if one of the clones took a bullet in the leg, Horace would receive the bullet wound in his own leg, albeit without the bullet. The summoning of clones takes up energy, and thus he can only keep them up for a limited time before he starts to get fatigued. However generally speaking this isn't a problem as he can keep them running for a good hour or so. His other main power is the ability to make illusionary clones, once more he summons them with the same energy he uses for the others, the difference is that he can summon a much larger number. However his illusionary clones are just that, one hit and they dissipate, they can't attack or make any sort of physical contact. Upon summoning them he'll intersperse his own form among them, thus using them mainly as decoys to confuse the opponent. That or he’ll use them for intimidation, while he sneaks off and steals whatever it is he came for.

His last ability is merely superhuman agility.

Appearance: Horace stands at about 5’ 11’’; his frame is rather average, not large but not skinny either. He has short black hair, and an average complexion for a Chinese male. However one peculiar feature he has are his eyes, which were inherited from his mother, they are a striking blue shade and are what truly set him apart. His normal clothing consists of a business suits and whatever he has to wear. The one thing consistent is a pendant his mother gave him, in which is a picture of his mother and father. When disguised as the Monkey King, he dons a Monkey King Mask painted black; in addition he wears simple, black, Chinese, martial arts robes.

Weapons/Equipment: He carries a telescopic Bo Staff made from a special lightweight, but strong material. Its length is about a foot long collapsed, but extends to a length of 6.5 feet. Other than his staff he generally doesn’t carry much on him. Instead he will carefully choose equipment need for a heist before setting out, the most common is grappling device that can clip to his back.

Skills: Due to his upbringing, Horace is fluent in both Cantonese and English, although is English does have a bit of an accent. He is also an excellent thief, whether that be pick pocketing, lock picking, or just sneaking in and entering. He possesses the excellent charisma expected of a man of his stature, along with an above average intelligence. That’s not to say he’s another Tony Stark, but he is quite knowledgeable about a variety of subjects, specifically that pertaining to Chinese History, and items coming out of it. In addition his years on the street, in addition to more formal training he received have left him a proficient fighter in both hand to hand combat, and with a Bo Staff. Finally he enjoys golf and is quite proficient.

Personality: On the outside, Horace is everything you’d expect of a man of his stature. Charismatic, Charming, Eloquent. In addition, unlike most people of his stature, Horace is not a playboy, a fact which has earned the respect of quite a few common folk. Instead Horace appears to be diligent hard-working representative, and seeker of peace between mutants and humans. His other noticeable traits are his sense of ethics, honor, and respect towards others. While all of this may be true, this is only half of who Horace is, away from public eye, Horace is planner and calculator. He enjoys challenging himself, which is why he continues his thievery, despite his lack of needing to. Finally Horace is somewhat of a prankster to those who get to know him, or run into him as Monkey King. However most of these traits are unnoticed by the public, as he does a good job of separating his public appearance and private life.

Weakness: Horace's cloning comes with the limitation of tiring him out; in addition his superhuman agility is the only other real power he has. Thus his speed, strength, endurance etc. are all average. His sense of honor can also get in the way of doing things, and the separation of his two identities means that he often has to make sacrifices for one or the other. In addition, while Horace might be good at charming people and using them, he’s never truly had friends and has such has no clue how such a thing works. His status as a registered mutant leaves him quite vulnerable, and as a seeker of peace it’s not unheard of him for him to be targeted by both sides.

Bio: Horace was born in America to mixed parents, his mother was a member of the wealthy Hammer family and his father was a Chinese immigrant. However less than a year after he was born, his family moved to China, due to his mother’s wish to leave behind her own family. Here in Hong Kong, Horace lived a relatively peaceful live for the next seven years, until one day when his mother and father both died when their home caught fire. Orphaned and homeless, Horace was left on the streets, his powers manifesting within a week of the accident and being the only thing that really saved him. Soon after his normal thievery to survive became noticed by the gangs, and it wasn’t long before he was recruited into one.

In the gangs his thief skills flourished and he became renowned amongst the other gangs as a master thief. Due to his powers, he was nicknamed the Monkey King after the Chinese literary character. The name stuck, and Horace began practicing with a Bo Staff in mimicry of the hero. However six years later, when he was thirteen, Horace’s life changed once more. After the death of his grandfather, his Horace’s uncle came to China in pursuit of Horace’s mother. Not knowing that she was dead, his uncle ran into Horace completely by accident when the young boy attempted to pickpocket the man. Angered and ready to punish him, his uncle turned towards the young boy and was surprised when he noticed his eyes, that and the pendant around his neck. Realizing that he was his nephew, his uncle became his guardian and took him back to the states. The son of the famous Hammer family, Horace’s return was labeled a miracle by the tabloids and newspapers. Horace would spend the next few years of his life as a privileged individual in stark contrast to his life six years ago. As a member of the Hammer Family, Horace received the best education money could buy and became well-versed in a variety of fields. When he was seventeen, Horace shocked the world once more when he registered as a mutant. For a while the people of America viewed him with fear and paranoia, Hammer Industries’ Stock also taking a hit. However the heavy contributions Hammer Industries continued to make for the Enforcers, as well Horace’s neutrality, quickly won him back the favor of the press. Currently he serves as the main representative/spokesperson of Hammer Industries, while his Uncle runs the company. However this is merely the public side of Horace’s life now, when he registered as a mutant, Horace didn’t reveal his cloning ability; instead he opted to only reveal his Agility. Still donning the name of the Monkey King in secret, Horace continues his thieving. As the Monkey King he is known for almost exclusively stealing only Chinese items of value, such as artifacts from the different dynasties.

After the dissolution of the Enforcers and the H.Y.D.R.A attack on New York quite a few changes have happened to Hammer Industries and by extension Horace’s own life. For one, Howard Stark was killed in the attack; hence Hammer Industries has started keeping a closer eye on how its competitor may be faring in the coming years, always ready to rise above its longtime rival.

Hammer Industries has also started devoting itself towards supplying S.H.I.E.L.D. helping the organization in its recovery post the Battle for New York. Horace has been one of the main negotiators behind this aid having been present at all meetings. Currently Horace has been keeping a relatively low profile while secretly investigating the increasingly more benevolent Brotherhood in hopes of hosting future talks with them.

Speaking of SHIELD agents, the president's address is done right? I can move my guy (Tokiomi)?

Yep. Sorry, I've been a bit busy, I'll try to have a post making this clear up later.

On this eve, the thirtieth anniversary of that first colony, many are left to wonder; is the world fast approaching a breaking point?

I have a SHIELD agent in the White House, guarding President Jameson.

I occasionally return to BZP for a nostalgic trip back. Hit me up on discord if you need anything.

Regarding the "basic" vampire. I've worked with Rawrmouse extensively on this issue. We've determined a few things going by Subject-001, AKA Lynae. We've determined that the agent that changes a baseline human into a vampire is likely a virus of some sort. A virus that'd make the surgeon general faint in fear. This nasty little puppy changes you down to the genetic level. Body changes extensively, you get faster, you get stronger. Virus rebuilds you from the DNA up basically. By the time the change is done...well...well, I'm not that sure you qualify as human anymore. You're an immortal, fanged creature dependent on blood to survive.

This has a few drawbacks though, the virus has several weaknesses that help to explain why this thing hasn't run roughshod over the world. It's blood-born for the most part. Vampires are walking carriers....and I wouldn't advise drinking their blood. Well, unless being an immortal appeals to you. Furthermore, the virus causes a violent allergy to wood and appears highly vulnerable to it, reacting violently and dying off when exposed. This likely has to do with some sort of bacteria or chemical in the wood. This is the reason why, if you stab a vampire with a stake, you'll kill it right quick. The heart is designed to pump blood all around the body. The chemical/bacteria/whatever is in the perfect position to spread if you stab a stake or piece of wood into the heart. It'll hit the virus like Germany hit France during the blitz.

The virus has a similar reaction to sunlight or holy water, allergies to holy water aren't unknown, not by a long shot. There are normal everyday people who swell up when you expose them to it. The genetic changes the virus makes to the host introduces a simply massive allergy to holy water, a downright deadly one. The virus also can't exist in sunlight, not for long at least. The skin keeps the blood-born virus safe in the body but....well, fire the right kind of bullet and you've got what amounts to a tiny little sun exploding in the chest cavity. Virus can't take that. At all.

These are our findings thus far, submitting them here so the staff and everyone can get a look at them and, in the case of the staff, slap us down if they don't like what they see.

Posted. If anyone that could teach Scott the hand to hand stuff, like Aleks (Hope im spelling that right) or anyone that can, that be epic. If not, i can edit that out.

War...war never changes.

We crawl, on our knees for you,
under, a sky no longer blue,
we sweat, all day long for you.

But we sow, seeds to see us though,
cause sometimes dreams just don't come true,
we wait, to reap what we are due.

EhName: Rashad DanielsCodename: JerichoGender: MaleAge: 32Loyalties/Faction: S.H.I.E.L.D.Power(S): Rashad's abilities function through his voice. He has the ability to transform the sonic energy of his voice into other kinds of energy- from blasts of heat or electricity, to concussive force and high pitched sonic screams. Through extensive training and S.H.I.E.L.D. enhancements, he can even create tachyon waves which rip the fabric of space, allowing him to create portals and cross vast distances quickly. This last ability, however, is incredibly draining and difficult to use, so is saved for use as a last ditch resort.Appearance: Rashad is a tall, slim African-American man, with a lean, muscular build and a slightly graying goatee. His eyes are a piercing, unnatural pale blue and the majority of his throat has been replaced by technological replacements, leaving a noticeable metal exterior. When not on duty, he usually covers this with a scarf, but when in the field wears a skintight black and blue suit with a hood.Weapons: A semiautomatic pistol, silence gloves(S.H.I.E.L.D. invention, when active they create a localized field of silence around the wearer by turning the frequency of all sound lower than human hearing. The brain still processes the stimuli, just not as sound, and this can have a variety of effects on those around, from nausea to hallucinations). In addition to these, Rashad's body has undergone several enhancements:-The lenses of his eyes have been replaced with small cameras which can filter between infrared, night vision, and telescopic views, as well as record video.-storage device in his brain: can store stimuli as data when Rashad wants to, allowing him to record what he sees or hears and wirelessly upload it to SHIELD servers(only with the right equipment, meaning he has to be at base).-his throat has been replaced with a technological version, giving him control over his mutant ability, as well as the ability to filter air in low-oxygen environments. He still can't breathe water, though.Skills: As a SHIELD agent, Rashad has all the combat and undercover training one would expect, and is computer savvy enough to be able to retrieve data when necessary. He's a very good shot with his pistol, as well.Personality: Rashad is very soft-spoken, a holdover from his pre-SHIELD days where he had to be. He unquestioningly follows orders to the letter, believing that he is doing his utmost to serve and protect his country.Weakness: For starters, there's quite a lot of technology in him, so even minor electrical attacks can cause harm. Also, his enhancements don't make him any stronger, faster, or more durable than the average human. His ability can be shut down with something as simple as a gag. Lastly, he tends to take more risks than necessary, which can result in some tough situations.Bio: Born in a small town in rural Georgia, Rashad was always the quietest kid growing up. That was until a day 5th grade, when in a confrontation with a bully, his mutant ability activated, killing the other boy and nearly ripping his throat apart.Though he was able to somewhat speak again after a few months, Rashad barely did, his silence worrying his parents, who had pulled him out of school after the incident. After some time, the family was contacted by Nick Fury. He offered SHIELD's expertise in teaching Rashad to control his ability as well as fixing his throat. In return, Rashad would be trained as an agent, and enter active duty when he came of age. The boy didn't hesitate, nodding enthusiastically.Twenty years later, Rashad, using the codename "Jericho" is a respected member of SHIELD, still in active duty. He is one of the oldest active field agents in the organization, but shows no sigh of retiring yet.

For review.

Name: Saphine Mark

Codename: Alpha Fourteen.

Gender: Female

Age: Twenty-five

Loyalties/Faction: Manduhai Incorporated, serving as Borte’s personal bodyguard/troubleshooter. By extension she is aligned with the Hellfire Club as well. Ultimately, she’s more loyal to her rather large paycheck then any ideal held by her employers. She isn’t without conscience; there is a difference between working for a CEO and working for a CEO who kills people for fun on the side, a rather large one, called “basic morality”. So long as the money is good and the work reasonably ethical, she’s as loyal as can be.  She considers herself a professional above all else.

Power(S): Once a baseline human, albeit one with a few years of combat experience and training under her belt, now Saphine isn’t quite as human as she once was. For one, she can smell with her tongue now which is kind of neat. More seriously, she’d taken on the traits of a reptile in many respects.  She’s cold blooded, meaning she spends quite a lot of time sunbathing or in the sauna these days. She is very sensitive to vibrations and can more or less track someone by them. Beyond all of these minor and in many cases detrimental abilities, is her greatly enhanced flexibility and agility. She can bend in ways humans’ beings are simply incapable of; she’s faster on the draw and on the run than most.

Another notable ability is her venom; if she bites someone then they stand a chance of being poisoned by her. The effects of this venom vary; a fit, healthy mutant would be somewhat resistant to the full effect of the venom, resulting in some pains that would start out intense and then gradually fade to nothing, this isn’t a hard rule of course, sometimes a mutant will be affected, sometimes not. This effect is an infection that will, within a few hours dramatically change the genetic makeup of the host. This process is far from painless and short of an immediate irradiation or a cocktail of various drugs there isn’t a reliable medical way to stop it. The end result is a new vampire. The injection of the venom is voluntary process on her part; she needs to eat with those fangs as well.

She shares the toughness all vampires have, in some form. Her bizarre new biology is in an odd state between life and death. Her blood doesn't go into sustaining any basic life functions. She doesn't need to breathe; eat (aside from a consumption of blood to keep her supply up) she is for all intents and purposes clinically dead. Yet, so long as she keeps her supply of blood up she can move, speak and generally act as if she were alive. One could term this state “undeath” if they were feeling dramatic. The blood appears to be broken down into raw energy, used to support her body and abilities.

Appearance: Saphine, a Caucasian of twenty-five years of age, has deviated quite a bit from the military discipline drilled into her at boot camp. Her red hair’s grown a bit long, resulting in a ponytail tied behind her head. She stands at five feet and eight inches and is, as suits a former marine, quite muscular. She keeps a fairly strict exercise schedule to keep it that way. The Vampirism that has taken hold of her body has also greatly changed her. Her eyes, once blue, are now the golden eyes of a snake, looking very out of place upon a human to say the very least. Her mouth is home to two long snake-like fangs, with venom glands protruding slightly from her gums. She also moves in a slightly odd way, her steps seem more sure and certain then the normal humans, as if she wasn’t solely using sight to decide upon her route. Her body is more or less room temperature, so if the room is hot, her body will be warm, if the room is cold, she’ll be cold as well.

She typically wears a set of black pants and jacket with a green undershirt when she isn’t on the job, when she is on the payroll or expecting trouble, she wears a set of armor designed for the elite wings of GoldPoint Security.  This uniform consists of a chest plate made up of various hardy plastics and melted Kevlar to form a fairly lightweight, easy to use piece of armor. There are other armored plates that run down her arms, legs along with two shoulder pads made up of the same material that serve to provide more complete protection.

A black bodysuit is typically worn beneath this armor. On the right side of the chest plate, there is a single, golden symbol, a small spear with a shining point. A utility belt is also used, with various tools and the like that would come in handy during job hanging from it. Her helmet, made up of the same material as the armor, has a stylized mask on the front of it, with a golden T-shaped visor that can be retracted at the will of a user attached to it. This visor can switch into different modes of sight, night vision, infrared and the like, all on the whim of the user. It also serves as a communication device, thanks to a built in radio. The overall effect is quite intimidating.

Weapons: Her weapons vary depending on the mission profile, but in general she has the following weapons equipped. An IMI Tavor TAR-21 assault rifle is her mainstay weapon, with a reflex sight and under barrel grenade launder. This weapon is, by and large, the service weapon of the majority of the elite units within GoldPoint.  She typically has a few flashbangs, frag grenades and the like stashed in her utility belt. Her primary side arm is an IMI Desert Eagle with a laser sight attached. Buying out a few Israeli weapons companies has really worked out for Manduhai Incorporated, needless to say.

Skills: Saphine is a woman of many skills, she is quite competent in a firefight, able to calm and control even in intense combat situations and is very proficient marksmen with training in a wide variety of weapons. Besides this, she excels at ambushes, infiltration and all many of dirty tactics designed to make winning the battle or even finding their tormenter quite the difficult task for any potential enemy. She is proficient in hand to hand combat and is able to lead a squad or two of soldiers into battle competently. She isn’t an officer though, and works best as part of a small unit. She is something of an expert on military matters and tactics, though she hasn’t had any official training, you just tend to pick these things up.

Personality: Saphine has a generally optimistic view on life, even after the incident that turned her into a vampire. She’s got a high-paying job, enough training that to impress any other employers if this job falls through a fat little bank account that looks to be getting fatter yet. She doesn’t have to fight for every morsel of food, which is more than some, can say. She doesn’t hold any loyalty to an ideology, tending to try to view each issue in its own context before making a choice on it. She is very curious about her current condition however, and would be quite interested in learning more about it, as it stands, she doesn’t have much to go on and her salary isn’t quite high enough to allow her to roam all over the world in search of answers.

In regards to her job, she views herself as a consummate professional. She’s friendly enough in the workplace and very dependable. Provided the request isn’t highly unethical you can count on her to carry it out. She’s here for the money and doesn’t make a secret about that, but she’ll adhere to her contract without fail. She gets things done and for a reasonable price, in her view, that’s more than enough.

Her attitude can be more than a little blasé or overly casual because of this, she’s good at her job and she knows it, so she won’t be overly disciplined with her language. She left the army for a reason after all….well, okay, she left because MACE shutdown and she didn’t really want to serve another tour of duty at “foreign flashpoint forty-six”. The fact she wasn’t exactly human anymore and very much wanted to keep that under wraps also played a part in her choice.

Weakness: The cold is downright deadly to her at low enough temperatures. She relies completely on her circulatory system for survival, having the blood start to freeze in her veins would destroy that system and kill her very quickly. Bullets damage most of her body normally, but as it has no function beyond movement and the like, they tend to be ineffective. Concentrated fire and AP rounds can break through the natural armor around her heart and mind and effectively take her down, regardless of her armor.

Furthermore, swords and the like are very effective at damaging her system, blowing a hole into it with a bullet is well and good, but using a sword to hack off an arm does a lot more damage, opens up more blood vessels, resulting in more blood loss which, if it happens quick enough, can spell death for her. Since she is totally dependent on blood to survive, anything that removes it or effects it negatively is highly effective against her. Furthermore, the colder it is, the slower she tends to be. In winter, even with a coat and the like on, she is much slower then she normally is.

She also needs to feed on blood at least twice a week, though the local blood bank does quite a lot to help out with that. Money talks.

Bio: Saphine joined up with the USMC in hopes of paying for college somewhere down the line, going through the training, her first deployment all in the name of a future law degree. That, however was not to be, since she joined up during the golden age of the Brotherhood and chaos in general, her unit was kept very busy, going from crisis to crisis and trying to pick up the pieces as best they could. To her, it was kinda clear they were losing control of the situation completely but she kept her mouth shut and hoped her tour of duty would end sooner rather than later
Then she and her squad were deployed to New York, to provide security for the president during a speech. That…didn’t go well. By the end of it, some of her buddies were dead, the president was bleeding out on the steps of the Lincoln Monument and the nation was in chaos.

When MACE was formed, her unit was folded into it, she went along with it reluctantly, and none too eager to face mutants in open combat. She was shuttled around from place to place once again, raiding a Brotherhood outpost there, arresting some fugitive mutants here and all the while keeping one eye on the calendar. Seeing one’s comrades incinerated before one by a fire-throwing mutant tends to have that general effect on people. Eventually, she and her squad were brought into chase down what was believed to be a group of Mutant radicals camped out in a bunch of ruins in the Middle East, at the request of a local oil sheik who had been having trouble with this particular group.

When MACE rolled into that city, they stepped into a situation they were totally unprepared to deal with. Most of unit was down for the count in the first hour, picked off by creatures striking from the shadows. There was a group in the ruins alright, but it wasn’t a mutant extremist group, it was a sect of vampire cultists and their nightmarish minions. By the end of it, only three MACE operatives made it out alive, Saphine was one of them. She’d been bitten more than a few times during the process and when she limped back out into the sands, she wasn’t…well, she wasn’t exactly human anymore.

When the Federal Government came down on MACE like a napalm bomb on a trench line, Saphine got when the getting was good and took out a contract with Manduhai Incorporated the second her tour of duty was up.  She isn’t eager to talk about what happened in that city and would rather put the incident behind her for now. She’s got a good job now, got a real career going, she isn’t eager to drudge up that dark bit of the past.

I guess I'll try and get back into the series.

Name: Nizhoni Parras

Codename: Wind Walker.
Age: 28.
Gender: Female
Loyalties/Factions: An inherent loyalty to the lower classes, but belongs to no particular faction.
Power(S): None to speak of.
Appearance: Standing tall for her gender at 6'1", Nizhoni possesses short-cropped black hair, a tanned complexion, and brown eyes. She has a lithe form, one gained from practicing efforts of endurance, like marathons, rather than sheer strength. Her heritage makes itself known in her face, possessing gaunt cheeks and a somewhat angular chin. Her battle outfit, so to speak, is a combination of yoga pants and a long hoodie, with a scarf concealing a protective gas mask and goggles that can be pulled down in a pinch. Stitched onto the outfit is various pieces of hardened carbon-fibre plastic, conned off from pieces that didn't bake properly in the local aerospace firms. This gives her lightweight and protective surfaces, though is still weak to a well placed knife-jab.
Weapons: Her primary weapon of choice is a steel-bound mahogany wood staff, capable of detaching in the middle to make two smaller batons. She carries two combat knives on her person when out on missions, as well as a compact crossbow used for lineshots.
Skills: She is an excellent endurance athlete, having trained her body to endure extended bouts of stress and exertion. She is remarkably aware of how the universe clicks and turns, owing largely to her studies in the humanities. In addition she possesses a good deal of skill with her weapons, by virtue of not only training with them, but also dealing with life and death situations consistently with them.
Personality: A generally aloof individual, Nizhoni is fairly sociable, with a preference on having a fair number of friends to rely on for support. She bears no particularly odd mental quirks.
Weakness: Besides having no powers or connections to speak of, Nizhoni is ultimately a college graduate who decided to take up crime fighting. She is not any sort of mastermind, nor is she the peak of human perfection. She is a girl who put on a hoodie and started punching gangsters.
Bio: Nizhoni was born and raised on the Navajo reservation, upper New Mexico. The girl's childhood was uneventful, as while her family struggled with poverty, she never felt the ramifications of it too much. She was free to be her own person, exploring the world around her and generally having a good time of it. Eventually, she would grow up, moving away from her home for greener pastures. Her wandering would lead her to Kansas, attending university in Wichita for a degree in the humanities. It was here that she discovered the problems of gangs, and all those that they harmed. She took it upon herself to combat the problem; while she did work for some time in the activism area of things, she soon realized that the problem would not go away anytime soon. So she began to act as the city's protector, dishing out street justice during the night and working a menial, but decent paying job at a research institute. She has been doing this for the past five years now, and has made something of a name for herself, though her relationship with the local law enforcement is tenuous at best.

Wind walker +1Without further ado, I present the first of my staff NPCs, already approved:Name: Elizabeth "Betsy" BraddockCodename: PsylockeGender: FemaleAge: Body is 23, she's about 42.Loyalties/Faction: X-MenPowers: The original inhabitant of Psylocke's current body took her mental powers with her when she left, leaving the body with only the ability to adapt to supernatural triggers. This serves as a blessing and a curse. While it allows the current occupant to resist most attacks thrown at her, it also dampens her powers, taking her psychic abilities from those of Professor Xavier to those of the late Ashlynn Summers- pre-Pheonix, of course. Her telekinesis is the only one of her powers not drained by her new body, still as accurate as her top form. She's especially good at the variant known as tactile telekinesis, or using her mental abilities to extend her physical prowess.Weapons: She can manifest her telepathic and telekinetic abilities as a psionic katana, at its highest level of focus able to cut through things as easily as adamantium claws, with one critical exception: if it hits flesh it doesn't cut, instead shorting out whatever nervous system it encounters. While using it at that level, however, she can't use her other powers.Appearance: Five foot eleven and with obvious Asian heritage, Elizabeth is a knockout. Her eyes are blue and her hair purple, looking almost no different from the day she was "killed"- except a very small few. Her skin is a little darker, and her hair has black highlights in it that she can't seem to dye, no matter how hard she tries. Her well-made proportions are still the same, suffering none of the effects age would incur.Skills: Elizabeth was lucky- her new body has most of the same skills her old one did, and is capable of performing the rest. These include master swordsmanship with her katana, intense martial arts mastery, and extreme accuracy with throwing knives.Personality: Sharp tongued and a flirt, Betsy is a little bit of a contradiction. One thing can be said: Stay on her good side, and she'll be nice if not a bit sweet to you.Heaven help the person who gets on her bad side.Weaknesses: Her new body is essentially an absorber of all supernatural forces not native to it, so her powers take more effort than normal. In addition, her powers are not conducive to using more than one at the same time.Bio: Betsy was killed in the Phoenix incident 19 years ago, leaving behind Warren and two other individuals. That much is known. However, no imprint of her consciousness was left behind, not even something traceable by the most powerful telepaths. The nearly unanimous decision was that she had been literally wiped off the spiritual spectrum by the force of that psychic explosion, though some weren't so sure. One thing is certain, however. Some part of her survived to reform or inhabit a body, as she showed up on the doorstep of the X-Manor some weeks ago, to reunite with Angel. What happened in the middle... She isn't sharing. Not yet.

No such thing as destiny.

Another character, but I'm rarely going to be using it (only in emergencies). If it's too powerful, I could give it to one of the staff members and make it an NPC.Name: Project Lucifer (Formerly XVII-A1P-01, Jacques-Pierre Beaubier)Codename: Morning Star, "Godzilla Threshold"Age: 29Gender: N/AFaction: SHIELDPower(S): Morning Star has the power of winged flight up to Mach 3 through a combination of foot repulsors, an anti-graviton float system, and techno-organic wings. It is capable of lifting up to 2 tons. It also has extremely fast reflex time and roller blades on its feet give it a higher speed on the ground than what can be achieved by walking.Appearance: Morning Star's body consists 75 percent metal, 15 percent organic matter, and 10 percent cybernetic technology. Its form is sleek and futuristic-looking, white armor covering the entirety of its body, and a pair of black, techno-organic wings mounted on his back, similar in appearance to Archangel's, the wingspan stretching at around 10 metres from wingtip to wingtip. This is topped with a motorcycle helmet-shaped head, with a crimson cross (the optic cannon) jutting out of the otherwise smooth face. A four chamber Arc Reactor glows on the cyborg's chest (in the shape of a diamond with four circles stuffed inside). The size of the back boosters have been significantly reduced, replacing conventional jet fuel with an anti-graviton float system.Weapons: Morning Star's weapons systems were completely revamped by SHIELD. A kinetic energy cannon (which fires beams similar to Cyclop's optic blasts) is mounted on its head. Retractable blades are installed in its forearms and its feet. In addition, the "feathers" of its wings are razor sharp, allowing Morning Star to do serious damage by buffeting the foe with them.Skills: Morning Star is very skilled at fighting. It lacks nearly nothing in physical prowess, and what it does lack, it more than makes up for in intelligence. Despite its movements being somewhat predictable, it is generally too fast to counter.Personality: Morning Star is essentially Robocop with wings. Devoid of emotion and devoid of free will, it is merely an extension of the will of whoever happens to be giving it its orders. However, just because it has no free will doesn't mean that it is stupid, as Morning Star possess genius level intelligence, backed up by a customized 8-core computer processor. It is programmed to speak many different languages. It is constantly receiving orders from the Helicarrier, SHIELD Mobiile Command, and the Pentagon, and any of those three sources could trigger a manual override and control the cyborg via remote (with approval from the other two)Weakness: Morning Star very succeptible to heat based attacks (overheating can damage its internal systems) and also to electromagnetic pulses. As well, a skilled enough technopath can hijack the cyborg and use it as a puppet of their will.Bio: The XVII-A1 line of cyborgs is the product of the union of bioengineering, artificial intelligence, and cybernetics engineering. Inspired by Weapon Plus's creation of Huntsman, Fantomex, and Ultimaton, the government of the USA commissioned a secret project to build a series of Cyborgs, collaborating with Weapon Plus on the development of "Weapon XVII". Eventually, the project was put away to deal with more current threats, but it was never forgotten. Jacques-Pierre Beaubier grew up in Quebec City. As a young boy, he idolized the heroes of Alpha Flight, especially the hero Northstar, due to his Quebecois origins, and the fact that they were cousins. Of course, Jean had no such wild dreams for his life; he had every intention to become a priest in the Catholic Church. However, Jacquess life flipped upside down when the Dark Phoenix attacked. Shaken by the death of his heroes, it didn't help that his parents died in a car crash (how ironic) in that same year. Being sent to live with his uncle, a desire to protect humanity not just spiritually but physically as well was implanted in Jean, who now desired to become a government/military worker of sorts. Joining CSIS, he eventually found his way into the ranks of Department H, before being loaned to the Enforcers to deal with the growing mutant threat. During his time there, Jacques became attached to a suit of winged powered armor, wearing it into every battle, as it reminded him of the angels. Little did he know how important that suit would become During one mission, Jacques was seriously injured and being brought back to base, it was discovered that his body was no longer functional. Technically, Jacques died that day, but one of the doctors working on him had worked on Weapon XVII and had the idea to use the technology on him. Injecting nano-sentinel tech into Jacques, as well as using the remains of Jacquess suit and additional cybernetic implants to reconstruct Jacquess body, the first of the XVII-A1 line of cyborgs was created. One of the doctors noted that the cyborg bore a strong resemblance to the X-Man Angel, and in an act of ironic comparison, the doctor christened the cyborg Morning Star, after the fallen archangel Lucifer. After several tests and modifications, Morning Star was deemed ready to go out into the field. Despite a personality glitch in which the cyborg would revert back to the personality of Jacques, the cyborg was marked fit for service. However, it was only deployed a few times. After the dissolution of MACE, Morning Star was acquired by SHIELD. Renamed Project Lucifer, SHIELD's tech crews began to upgrade the cyborg, attempting to turn it into the ultimate robot warrior. They managed to fix issues such as the personality glitch and the low power source. However, they were reluctant to deploy it on everyday missions, reserving it for DEFCON 1-2 level emergencies as well as to serve as a specific counter to any of HYDRA's living weapons.

Okay, I gotta say, an allergy to wood sounds really lame to me. If you're going to keep it as that in-effect, maybe say cellulose instead of wood.

Means celery's just as bad as wood, but, you know, it sounds less stupid.

Also, how do they feel about, say, beheading or otherwise, you know, physically-fatal-for-a-human things?

We will remember - Skies may fade and stars may wane; we won't forget

And your light shines bright - yes so much brighter shine on

We will remember - Until the skies will fall we won't forget

We will remember

We all shall follow doom

Name: Bleddyn Morgannwg

Codename: N/A (Unofficially known as Tsundere Heavy Cruiser by some compatriots)

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Loyalties/Faction: The Xavier Institute for Higher Learning

Power(s): Bleddyn possesses high endurance, and as such is capable of resisting that which would kill a normal person. He also has the ability to move at superhuman speeds and can also increase or decrease his own mass.

Appearance: At a metre eighty, the red-headed mutant named Bleddyn can be considered rather tall for his age, although the average height for teenagers has been rapidly increasing since the turn of the century. His hair, which would be considered to be a "regular haircut" by hairstyling experts, serves as a contrast to his rather pale skin. Although not many people comment, he is somewhat self-conscious of his height and hair. He has no "hero-ing uniform", preferring to simply wear his usual clothes. It is common to see him wear padded leather gloves.

Weapons: N/A

Skills: Bleddyn is a good mathematician.

Personality: Bleddyn is quite a complex individual. While it is clear that he yearns for the praise and affection of his compatriots, he finds it hard to actually accept their words, shutting himself off. Most of the time he attempts to be a closed individual, but he usually fails to do so, and instead will lash out at others with insults. He has a staggering inferiority complex stemming from his childhood, which, along with some other factors, serve as the reasons for the way he acts.

Biography: Bleddyn had been rather starved for attention since his rough childhood, having to live with parents who never really cared for him, seeing him as simply a piece of furniture in their house. Although he was able to tolerate their lack of attention, the emotional neglect, combined with the abuse from his classmates who actually knew he was a mutant, forced him to ditch his old life for the Xavier Institute. He much prefers the school to his old life, and will fight tooth-and-nail to avoid going back.

Weaknesses: Bleddyn has no real skill at fighting.

Maria hill is second in command, right? What about Daisy Johnson? And are there any other major NPCs imported from the comics/movies/TV series?

Eh don't think so.. Assume most canon characters are dead unless proven otherwise. We'll reveal more canon characters when we feel it's necessary, if at all.

Morning Star - To be honest it seems a bit overpowered, can fly at mach 3, lifting 2 tons, and being a machine automatically gives it plenty of other advantages. I'm gonna have to talk this over with the staff but I honestly I think it's a bit too much so I can't in good conscience give approval.

For Morning Star, I never really intended to use too often anyway. Maybe I could give it to one of the staff members; it could be SHIELD's eleventh hour ranger or last resort.an And even if I did have control, I was planning to directly ask for ordera from the staff for, well, pretty much everything it does.

Name: Ashlynn SummersCodename: SongbirdAge: 21Gender: FemaleFaction: Xavier InstitutePower(S): Now that she is a vampire she also has the usual vampire abilites though weaker then usual, and faster speed.Though with the usual weaknesses.Appearance: Ashlynn is a very attractive woman. She has long, luscious red hair, and a pair of emerald colored eyes. Her skin is soft and spotless, and is pale in color. She has a pair of nice, full lips, and pearly white teeth. She usually dressed like a traditional hipster. She has two tattos of wings on her backside.

Weapons: She keeps a single desert eagle in her room just in case.Skills: She’s skilled at hand to hand combat, she is highly trained in first aid, pistols, being nice, listening to comrades, leadershipPersonality: Ultimate Ashlyn's personality is very close to the old Ash's. She's kind and caring but she also has an edge to her the old Ash didn't have. She has seen worse things then the normal Ash and would therefore go to further ends to survive. Becoming a vampire has changed her as well. She's darker now and willing to do things she wouldn't have before.Weakness: Ultimate Ash can no longer heal others. She has the normal vampire weaknesses. Stake through the heart, holy water, decapitation etc.Bio: Ashlynn was born in secret; her father was Cyclops, while her mother was Jean Grey. When she was born her parents felt that the X-Men were in danger and it wasn’t safe for her to live in the mansion so they took her to a family friend named the Williams for Ashlynn to stay until things cleared up. Ashlynn ended up staying with the Williams for three years, and during that time her mother was killed, but later came back to life as the Phoenix once again before killing all of the X-Men before she was killed once again by Wolverine.Eventually the Williams decided they didn’t want to raise Ashlynn because as a three year old baby she was already developing a mutation, wings. They took her to the Xavier Institute to find that Beast was the only surviving X-Men member, and now dean of the school. Beast took Ashlynn in and raised her himself. Ashlynn grew to become a strong woman, very similar to how Jean Grey was before she became the Phoenix. Ashlynn became the first of Beast’s new X-Men team, calling her Songbird because of her wings, and her last-name. When Ashlynn graduated from the school she became a teacher within the school and the school nurse, using her powers to help heal students, and her fellow X-Men.

Then the Phalanx attacked and everything changed drastically. The ones she loved were killed or absorbed into the Phalanx like Alaric. Ash was also blinded by the Phalanx and since she didn't have healing powers like normal Ash she was unable to see again forced to rely on her telepathic abilities to see. While the Ultimate X-Men battled the Phalanx she and Ultimate John Howlett became a couple. She then went into the normal universe along with the surviving Ultimate X-Men of her generation to steal that universes' technopath, Alex and taking him back to their universe. Together with Alex they were able to defeat the Phalanx. Ultimate Ash also went Phoenix mode at the end and decimated many of the Phalanx before the Phoenix left her body for good.

She was thought to be dead after that incident but she survived. She then made her way back to the normal universe since the Ultimateverse was pretty empty after the Phalanx attack. Not long after she was back in the normal universe she came across the Hellfire mansion where she was murdered by Harbinger in an alleyway. While she was dying none other then Jace came to her aid and accidently turned her into a vampire. Once she was a vampire her once blind eyes could now see again. She lost the mutant ability to summon her wings and heal but she gained some new vampire abilities.

She stayed in the Hellfire mansion for a time with Jace before leaving to visit the Xavier institute. She arrived in time to revive a nearly dead John Howlett with her blood. After that she hunted in the woods outside the school. She's stayed at the institute since. She's worked as one of the nurses at the school since she had a vast knowledge of first aid. About a year ago she felt a strange ping of pain and thought of her maker Jace. She hasn't been sure why. She has decided to go looking for Jace soon.

And my paragraph on why I should be allowed a supernatural (vampire) character.

I feel that I am capable to handle a vampire character since I used two of them last game. Never did I kill or turn any other players nor would I. I don't think Ash's powers are too extreme, but if you feel the telepathy and the normal vampire powers are too much then I am willing to remove her telepathy if needed. I feel that bringing back the U! Ash would make for an interesting plot since I plan to send her to Hellfire. It would be interesting to see how Alaric reacts around the U! and vampire Ashlynn. Also I feel that its a good idea to have the vampire characters together, since I know at least one other is within the Hellfire mansion.

None of the other vampire profiles mentioned healing. I just kinda asssumed they healed at the same rate normal humans did....

Not staff of course, I just make a habit of reading profiles to keep my evaluations on the supernatural up to date. After what happened in the last RPG, figured that was wise.

I believe you find life such a problem because you think there are the good people and the bad people. You are wrong, of course. There are, always and only, the bad people, but some of them are on opposite sides.

...I wash my hands of this. I have very strong misgivings, as I have voiced in the past, but nonetheless, I will leave this decision to my fellow staff. No doubt if I were to voice my misgivings there would be baying for my blood, but as I feel I have conceded much already, I will not have a hand in this profile's approval.

As it stands I can't approve Ashlynn either. For one thing I don't like Vampire + Mutant, seems like way too much power. Also, Warren wouldn't let an alternate Ashlynn anywhere -near- the school, probably would try to kill her really.
