IC:

There were six widgets on the table.

Why were there six widgets on the table? I don't leave my money out, I always keep it locked up; and I never charge anybody anything. Why, then, would there be six widgets on the table? Had my last client accidentally dropped some money? No, no, most likely they left it on purpose; no matter how many times I told anybody who came in that my services were free, that I could get by well enough on my savings and my pension from Ko-Wahi, they still always tried to leave something, anything. It wasn't even always widgets. Sometimes, it was some of the herbs that I used to aid my ministrations, other times it would be a loaf of bread (yes, Le-Matoran could cook, and some, quite well), or they might have left me some interesting little trinket. While I told them quite regularly that I needed no payment, they decided to repay me, and really just put me more in their debt.

Ah, bless their souls. It's like they're trying to keep me around.

Yes, yes, before you ask, I'm Praggos. Former Ko-Koro Sanctum Guardsman, former Mark Bearer, current scientist and doctor. Licensed? Who needs a license? I haven't killed anybody that I didn't want to kill - shouldn't that be proof enough that I know what I'm doing? But yes, yes, I'm a Toa of Ice, I'm arrogant, I'm cold, I hold just about everything in contempt, and I'm an all around nasty guy that should just be shunned and hated, because I'm going to come and tear up your Koro because I'm evil.

Screw you.

I already deal with enough trouble like that as it is. I've already gotten myself drunk enough times over that sort of thing because I couldn't sleep, still stuck thinking about the people whose deaths I helped to cause, the people I've hurt and harmed even though right now I'm doing nothing but freely offering healing to any who need it. That blasted mark isn't on my arm anymore, but let me tell you, I still see it there. I can still feel, like a ghost, the rush of energy it gives me, a memory, a blasted memory that I can't get rid of. And, truth be told, I hate it. I hated it then, but it had control of me. And most of all, I hate the fact that I miss it.

I still feel the pain I got whenever I ignored its hunger, and I still see that little timestamp on my arm, ticking down, about ready to clock out. I still feel my body slowly dying, and then myself having to embrace everything that I hated about myself just to survive, learning to love it again like I had at first. I remember sitting on Ga-Wahi's beaches, looking for all the world like I was just relaxing, I was fine, sipping at a bottle of - what was it? A wine, yes, but something specific, probably some sort of champagne - when all I was doing was trying to drink myself catatonic so that I wouldn't have to deal with that mark. That blasted mark.

I loved the mark; I hated the mark. I loved the power, and I hated the fact that it had greater control over me than I had over it. To this day, I'm still not sure if what I had banished from myself so long ago was the specter of the mark's malevolence and hunger, or if it was just what was good about me. My conscience, my good self, I'm still not sure if I had just banished that from myself and kept the mark and its hunger, and every part about me that fed on it, and relied on it. It came back, at least, if I did do that. Right now is an example of that.

But still. There were six widgets on the table, when I told people not to pay me. I hated being in their debt, like that; I hated it that something other than myself still held sway over what I did, still controlled me, somewhat. But was it the Le-Matoran that controlled me, or was it my guilt? Probably the latter. I have to deal with that daily, so no wonder that when I get something like payment, my conscience, with Guilt as the president of my mental congress, tells me that it's undeserved, and that now I owe them even more than I do for just not killing me, when I deserve it; for not banishing me, when I deserve that as well.

I hate being controlled by my emotions.

I sighed - it was inevitable, I suppose. I had to have been picked to have a mark, back then, because I had this weakness of letting my emotions control me, somewhat. Sure, outwardly, I make sure I look like I'm in control, but inwardly I'm a wreck. Or maybe not - I'm certainly putting on enough of a monologue, and it's coherent, that I might just be inwardly okay. Just annoyed and grumpy and irritable and such. Maybe I'm outwardly a wreck. No matter.

Time to open the door, face the light, and stay off the floor while it (the light) burns my eyes. A long day of working inside, writing, mixing solutions to see their effects, with nothing but candlelight - sunlight adversely affected some things, I need to figure out why - to guide me left me without an appreciation for bright lights. They hurt. And they gave me migraines.

Still, I needed to go out and get food, maybe see if somebody from the Gukko Force is willing to take me out to range for supplies further off in the jungle. Maybe check on some of those insect-riding maniacs; they knew how to take care of themselves and their mounts, or so I was told, but I wanted to make sure. Nui-Rama, for all that they're strong, can also be rather delicate in different ways, and Toa were never meant to go riding around on things like those giant bees. Or wasps, or whatever smaller - much smaller - Rahi they were most like. Who knows.

For now, though, the market. I'm hungry, and the last meal I remember was...Oh, probably...three days ago. That isn't good at all.

OOC: Praggos is open for interaction, for anybody who wants to talk to a grumpy old doctor.

IC: Kunitu

Having left her minion to his own devices, Kunitu strolled through the village, intent on getting herself something to eat from the market. It was a bit disorientating, seeing the villagers in such good cheer and health; the semi-retired commander had grown up during a time of darkness, when the Makuta could easily attack them at any moment. She would not ever wish for the malevolent being to ever return, of course (it was nice to see her people happy), but everything just felt strange to her.

"It'll probably take a while to get used to all this," she mentally declared to herself. "I just gotta give it some time."

As she neared one of the food stalls, she noticed a rather grumpy and dishevelled Toa of Ice wandering aimlessly around the area. Her mind kindly offered her the other being's name and role in the village. Praggos, an old doctor who seemed to have some sort of aversion to payment. Kunitu had only met him once or twice, but it was probably polite to offer her greetings.

"Hey," she said, walking up beside him.

Hearing a voice right next to me, I frowned, turning. Who would be wanting to both me right now? Of course, Kunitu. I smiled, slightly, at the former Commander - not even sure myself if it was forced or natural - before returning a short "Hello." I kept looking over the stall I was at. There was an array of fruits of some sort sitting there, most good, some not, not to my tastes, and others were probably things that nobody except a Rahi would want to eat.

IC: Aerus (The Cave, Le-Wahi)"Honestly? I don't know," I shrug, looking up at Merror. "He never told me about the explosives. I knew he was planning something, but not... but not that."I pause for a moment, quietly pulling together my thoughts. "He's let me go before, you know. Let me run away. But never for long. Only until I'm needed again. Maybe..."I sigh, shaking my head. "As for helping you, it seemed the appropriate thing to do. We're trapped in here together, after all. Also, from what I've heard you've caused Echelon some pretty major inconveniences," I add with a grim smile. "I reckon that's more than enough to qualify you for a little help and respect."

Someday, you're going to need help. Someday, you're going to turn to me, because there's no one else left. And when you do, I will say 'no'. I will look you dead in the eyes and I will say no, because you let her die, David.

IC: Letrakh

He swung from tree to tree near the ruins of Lake Pala, searching for signs of civilisation. Every time he found large piles of rubble, he would pause and scan the area, then he would continue on his search. He saw two glowing eyes coming from a cave. He entered it. Then everything went black. He awoke near a tree. He notised the tree seemed to be connected to other trees. He found an elevator near the tree. He realized the elevator lead to Le-Koro. He was back from where he started.

OOC: Letrakh is available for interaction.

Hasil sighed. He had been sitting in this same spot for he knew not how long; an hour at the least, and likely longer. He had yet to come to any realization at all, he had yet to figure out at all what compelled him to keep coming out this way, to keep walking out. Saran was near him, asleep, likely, though Hasil couldn't quite tell. Well, he may as well do something while he was out here.Hasil detached his longsword from its belt, holding it upright in front of him, and bowed to it; after a moment he drew it, pulling out two pieces of cloth, some powder, and some oil - he hadn't been able to take proper care of his blade in a while, let alone get in the training he needed to have with it. So he slowly cleaned the sword off, and wiped it down with some oil, again; and after a moment he stood, the sword held in a battle stance.

Slowly he moved through various sequences that he had learned, slowly at first, though building to greater speed, adding in more elaborate sequences, slowly working up a sweat. He had shed his veil and headcloth, not needing them here, as he practiced. Saran, it seemed, slowly came awake, though he placidly sat and watched as Hasil worked.

After some time at his practice, Hasil grew tired, and slowly came to the point of exhaustion, though he still kept it up. He was more than strong enough to keep this up for more than two or three hours - he used to do so regularly - though he found himself bringing his exercises to a quick stop. Somebody else seemed to be coming upon this spot - he could hear their feet crunching the ground, and the rustle of leaves and such as they passed and moved them.He whipped around, his sword held in defensive stance - though one that could quickly shift to offensive, as he glared at where the intruder to his peace would soon come out.

"What, exactly, are you doing here?" he growled, expecting a quick answer of the person.

(OOC: Jam with The Otter.  Not to be confused for jelly.) "C'mon, Komae, you're doing fine with the rudder," Beosach growled, turning back to the Po-Matoran behind him. They'd only been at this for about, oh, thirty minutes, but they'd been going back and forth about who should deal with the rudder for most of that time. Grinning at his friend, Beosach turned back around, pulling on the sail like he was told sailors did to change the sail's direction a bit, before tying it down - just to make sure they were going in the direction he wanted them to go."Besides, I've got my hands full with the sail. You think I have time for the rudder?""Well, I could try and take the sail for a bit, you know."  He put a hand to his chin.  "Actually, come to think of it, if I'm this much of a klutz with the rudder, guess I'd better stay well away from the sail."  He sighed.  "Ah well.  It's to be expected, I guess."He glanced over the side of the boat as he returned to the rudder; the waves seemed calm enough - not that he'd know what waves were _supposed_ to look like - and the ocean was reflecting the unending clear blue sky back at him.  He gave a hint of a smile, and then turned his attention back to the rudder. This time he didn't manage to either steer them off-course or fall over himself within the first two minutes, so that was progress, at least.Beosach continued to busy himself with the sail and with navigation. They were making rather good time, though they hugged the coast. Beosach didn't want the pair to get lost out at sea anywhere, after all. That would be bad. Very bad. And so, when he saw a storm farther out, he frowned. That doesn't look too good. Still, it was far enough out that it shouldn't bother them much, so he had only to bother himself with the currents that they were caught in, the tide, and continuing along. As they were.A few more instances where they either got annoyed with Komae at the rudder - "Komae, don't put your entire weight on it, it'll snap!" "I'll snap first!" - or getting annoyed with Beosach at the sails - "Beosach, that's going to rip, and then we're going to be completely screwed over." "Nuh-uh, we have the paddles!" - the day passed, and the winds - and the tide - began to change. Before the pair knew it, they were being carried quickly out to sea. What they didn't notice, at first, in dealing with trying to get back to shore, was that the storm was much closer to them than either had thought at first.Beosach frowned again, before shaking his head."Komae, whatever happens, don't let the food get wet. Specifically my food.""Hm.  Not sure there's much I can do about that."  Still, the Matoran smiled and waved the other Matoran's concern away.  "Well, no point in worrying about it now.  Just a little inclement weather.  These things happen!"  He gave a chuckle as he adjusted the rudder again.  "Besides, look at it this way. The only way a big dramatic storm would be wasted on people like us would be if it was some Toa's destiny to arrive in the nick of time and heroically save us."-------------------------------"For the record," the trader yelled over the din of the rain beating down on them, "I was being metaphorical about the Toa thing.  You know, just like, you hear those kinds of stories a lot"- a wave splashed over the side and drenched the Po-Matoran; he shook it off and spat out a mouthful of water - "and, I mean, the helpless Matoran have to come from somewhere, don't you think? It's just that kind of situation.  Although" - the rudder creaked in agony before he slipped and toppled to the deck - "I guess the Matoran that just randomly drown in a storm have to come from somewhere too.  I'd prefer being the former, though, honestly."He pulled himself to his feet.  "How's that sail holding up?"Beosach, from within the tangle of sailcloth that he was trying to roll up, glared at Komae for an answer. Soon enough, though, he succeeded, the sail rolled up on the mast. The rain was annoying, the wind and waves rocking them about and sending water on top of them even more so, but really, at this point, Beosach didn't care. Beosach just wanted this to finish."Just detach the rudder, will you? We don't need that thing snapping off on us, and in this storm, that might just happen." He rummaged in one of the compartments they had, trying to find a tarp they could use - and find one he did. Grinning, he grabbed the oilcloth, tying it down in two spots, and proceeding to stretch over to tie it down on the other side.It wasn't perfectly waterproof, but it helped. It helped a lot.And it was also impossible to see."Komae, please tell me that's your knee poking into my side.""I think it's the rudder.  I tried to pull it up and over the side, but it was sort of sticking for a while.  That cracking noise was lightning, right?"He poked his head out and got a faceful of wind and rain for his efforts.  "So, do you have any idea how to steer a boat in a storm?"Beosach sighed. "No, Komae, truth be told, I don't." The pitter patter - okay, the loud thumping - of the rain on the tarp continued, almost drowning out his words. Lightning cracked about them as he grabbed the rudder, checking over it completely. Okay, good, Komae hadn't broken it.He sighed again. He currently had no idea how far they were from the island, what time it was, nothing. All he knew was that the pair was slowly getting lost, but there was nothing he could do about it."So, while we're under here, do you know any good jokes?"The other Matoran remained looking out from under the tarp.  The rain was coming down harder now, and in the distance he saw a flash of lighting.  Somewhere in the back of his mind, gears started to turn.Beosach's comment finally registered, and without looking back, the Matoran replied, "Matoran with a Huna walks into a bar.  Bartender says, "hey buddy, why the long face'?"  His eyes darted around the boat; there didn't seem to be any sort of lifeboats, and he didn't know the first thing about what would and what wouldn't float in water, except...Boats floated.  And thus it followed that the things boats were made of floated as well.  He drew his carver's knife in a single smooth motion and began to work it into the cracks dividing the planks beneath them.  "Have you got anything sharp on you? We should get some of these loose so that we can use them to stay afloat if the ship sinks."  The usual joviality had disappeared from the Matoran's voice, but his tone was unafraid.A thought occurred to him, and he looked up at the other Matoran.  "Beosach," he said in the tone of one instructing a parent they could not take their child with them, "worst comes to worst, we might have to leave the money behind.""That's fine. Most of our wealth is in other goods anyways, and not in these widgets. Although if you think I'm not going to try to keep them with us, you're wrong. I don't want to devastate an economy or anything."Beosach pulled out a knife of his own, to help Komae with what he needed. However, he sincerely hoped they wouldn't lose the boat. Beosach already loved the Intrepid, and the thought of it getting consigned to a watery grave hurt him deeply."Also, your joke sucked.""Well," he replied, still working the knife through the cracks, "comedy was never my strong suit.  People tell me I'm too serious all the time."  He shrugged.  "I can think of worse things to be."There was another boom of thunder, and the boat lurched.  He smiled up at the other Matoran.  "Like at the bottom of the ocean, for instance.  By the way, I think the food's gotten a bit wet."Beosach frowned, looking over to Komae. Komae, smiling, blithe Komae. Oblivious to hardship, happy-go-lucky Komae. Komae.Foolish little Komae."If you think this is a joke, or funny, or anything, you're wrong," Beosach growled, and this time it wasn't in his usual jocular manner. No, he was sincerely angry about that idea. "We need food to survive. Just like we need water. If either are contaminated, and we find ourselves too far out from sure, we're effectively screwed."The smile remained.  "Oh, I know that.  Didn't I just say people tell me I'm too serious all the time, Beosach? I just figured by now you'd have noticed - I can smile through anything."  He gave a low chuckle.  "I appreciate the anger, though.  Spoken like a true explorer.  What would I do without you?"There was a pop as the board came loose.  "Still, there's not much we can do about it now, don't you agree? Better to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.""Yes, well, let's only undo one more board and in a different place. We're lucky this boat is two ply, otherwise your cockamamie idea would've just sunken us."Beosach rolled his eyes - not that Komae would see it, of course - while the pair sat in the boat, that was constantly rocking in the storm. The rain seemed to be getting heavier and heavier on them, the rocking stronger, and Beosach gulped."You know, Komae, I hope we aren't in a hurricane or anything.""Well, at this point I'm a little more concerned with what the storm's doing than what it's called."  He tilted his head a bit, thinking.  "What's the difference between a storm and a hurricane, anyway? A hurricane is just... stormier? Seems a bit silly to give it a special name.""It's like a tornado on water. But about eighty-five times bigger or so.""Huh.  So why don't they just call it a water tornado? I mean, we slap element names onto everything else on this island.  Water Toa, Water Matoran...""Because there's a bit more to it than that. I'm only describing what the very center of the storm is like when I say 'giant water tornado.' There's still quite a bit more to worry about - after all, something that's just a water tornado is actually called a water spout or something stupid like that. Probably."Beosach squinted, trying to see Komae's face. Was that blasted Matoran smiling right now, just making jokes? The time for jokes was past. He already said something about the food getting wet and what not, after all."Regardless, a hurricane is a hurricane. So stop worrying about it. And start worrying about it."Komae was indeed smiling, so it was probably for the best that the other Matoran couldn't see him.  "Well, I've done my worrying, frankly.  We've got a pair of possible rafts-in-miniature, a tarp, and a mostly broken rudder.  It seems pretty fair to say I've done what I can.  You know, Beosach, sometimes you've just got to accept there are things you can't change.  I mean, I very much hope this boat doesn't capsize or we don't get swept out to sea and all that, but in the event that we do, I'd hate to spend my last hours worrying.  It would just be such an unpleasant way to go.""You might have to spend your last hours worrying that I'll break your face. Anyways, the rudder isn't actually broken. It's fine. That, or we have a spare.""Well, that's good news, at least."He poked his head out and looked around for a few seconds, eyes straining against the rain.  He shrugged as he ducked back under the tarp.  "And more good news.  The shoreline still looks fairly close, so at least we're not going to wind up adrift at this rate."Beosach raised an eyebrow, popping up and looking for the same thing that Komae had seen, and he frowned. Perhaps the shoreline was still there, but he could see nothing other than the choppiness of the waters and the rain that was stinging his eyes - and lightning, every once in a while. Still, there was one thing that he could easily see, and he didn't like it one bit.A large wave, rolling by and hitting the ship. It didn't tip it over, not quite, but it slammed Beosach's head back, dazing him.Komae tumbled back with the wave.  "Okay, that was a bit of a bad one.  You alright over there, Beosach?"The other Matoran grumbled something that no reputable news source would reprint, and Komae sighed.  "Okay, taking that as a no.  Well, chin up.  I hear minor concussion isn't that serious an issue.  And I mean, Matoran are pretty resilient, you know? I don't know how many times I've heard about people getting a knock on the head and all they lost out of it was a few hours-"There has been no conclusive evidence that weather patterns are linked to irony, but if someone were to try to prove it, the wave that smashed into the boat at that instant and sent the two Po-Matoran head-first into the hull would serve as an excellent starting point.

OOC: Syvra from Onu-koro

IC: Syvra

Syvra walked towards the elevator that would lead up to the platforms that supported the treetop village of Le-koro

It has been a long time since i was here last.

Yes it has been Syvra.. i think we were with Litozen at the time

That sounds about right Venixa..

Syvra had found his way to the elevator and activated the mechanism that would pull the elevator up into the koro. As he stepped off of the elevator and the platform his eyes scanned the surrounding buildings and the various people who walked through the streets

You think Brotherhood members may be here?

Not necessarily.. just one can never be certain and i would rather be safe than sorry.

That is a logical thought process

Syvra stood around the center of the village unsure of what his course of plan was.. The whole time his right hand rested near his waist and close to the handle of Akrei's thorn, which he had already filled up with a paralyzing poison. His eyes were cautious and he watched every person with a look of suspicion

OOC: Syvra open for interaction

IC: Skyra Daring - Le-Wahi -

IC: Tuara Drigton - Le-WahiTuara - before Lear had even begun to respond - had already reached over to the massive Toa of ice and ripped him off Lear's shoulder, pulling his face right up to her's, her own eyes matching the emotional pitch of total anger. Tuara flicked Utu hard in the neck with two fingers, causing him to sort of choke down his scream. Under the pretense of this silence the buzzing had made its crescendo and was getting louder. Her fingers gripped tightly around Utu's collar armor and had only continued to tighten as she hissed through her teeth, "Listen here you ungrateful ###### ape, you have two choices," Tuara's pace was fast and remained it's quickening tempo, "Shut up or I make you shut up, yes or no," her red eyes were suddenly wild with a near animistic light, "Nimil might've wanted you back but he can get ###### if he thinks I'm going to let all of us get killed for your sorry ###### so help me God."Utu caught his breath and looked back up into her face, the flick only making him angrier. The Toa of ice heaved a heavy breath and spoke very loudly, almost louder than the buzzing was. His teeth were stained around the edges in a fuchsia blood, and his breath was putrid; the Mark of Fear's influence clearly wrecking havoc on his internal systems, "You d̷̮͖̼̭̹͈̰o̦̠̯͇͔͈̹n't g҉̟͎̰̖͔̫et to te͌̏͆̐͗ͤll me-"Tuara pulled her right hand back and rammed her curled fist into Utu's diaphragm, kicking the breath out of his lungs and the "lively" energy from his eyes. The push of air coming up his throat and out his mouth also kicked up specks of poison blood which splattered the already blood soaked Toa in the chest and neck. Tuara's eyes were cold and distant, gazing ahead and into the darkness when Utu's form curled around her curled fingers, as though ignoring the fact that she had almost bored a whole into an already structurally unsound frame. Her face was curt and remorseful, but in the case of life and death, Tuara had long ago prioritized the survival of her companions over both the Rahi, and Utu. Dancing in the grey was the only means of making it until morning. Her eyes scanned the faces of the others as she suddenly twisted her fist further into Utu's lower chest, expelling the very last air that had still somehow stayed behind, causing Utu to curl up even further. Tuara pulled up Utu a little so he would be sure to hear her, as her voice suddenly flattened into a darker hard tone. The sudden change into the totally calm voice hit the ears like a brick wall, "One more sound and I will leave you to die alone."

Utu whimpered at the sound of her voice, his body shaking.

The shape of her shoulders had effortlessly burdened the heft of the criminal Toa. Her eyes were determined and her yoke was easy. Tuara Drigton pulled Utu onto her shoulders in a sense of finality, her strength ignoring the massive weight of his body. The only real issue with her current physical state was the sharp pain in the cut on her abdomen and upper waist as she took a step. But past that the attractive Toa was seemingly without any real flaws: She stood tall in the jungle as her companions looked at her with shocked eyes:Some less than others, but some more than others.Tuara avoided Cael's gaze as she broke the "silence" of the buzzing, her curt voice opening into the air, "Can Destiny send for help Skyra."

IC:  Lear

He stood stony faced at the display of violence.  Tuara may have had strength, but she was certainly not professional.  Then again, his charge was a fire-spitter, and when had they been known for a rational, cool temperament under stress?  He didn't need to answer his last thought.  Instead, Lear let Tuara take the ko-toa and began to do what he did best: disappear.  As he ascended into the boughs of the jungle trees, he looked down at the companions he would protect.

"If Cael could soar-ride Destiny it would be one less worry.  I will do my best to safe-keep the rest of you."  With those words the leaves rustled, and to the companions he seemed gone.  But he wasn't.  Lear sprinted and leapt from branch to vine to branch, tumbling and turning as he worked his way closer toward the buzzing sound.  Closing his eyes he attempted to distinguish the individual rahi from the cluster, but gave up after ten.  He hoped Skyra would be able to use her elemental powers to protect Destiny's flight to Le-Koro, then ripped a birdie from its place and, taking careful aim, backhanded the disk in a strong drive toward the rama.  There was the screech as it flew through the air, then an alien chitter as it hit something with a deep crack.  Dropping through the boughs Lear headed East and away from Tuara who by now would be making a mad dash West to the koro with her prize.  Clambering to the top of a tree, his head broke the green belt.  Where the moon would have been there was nothing but a hollow void.  Toa stars glittered like pin pricks in a black blanket.  Grabbing another birdie, he hucked it further east.  There was the sound of insectoid wings; his plan was beginning to work.  Dropping down, he let his hands catch on a branch, vaulting himself into another tree like a brakas monkey.  From their, he bounced his way down to the lower boughs and set off back West, hoping the rama would continue the fake course.

"I diverted them," Lear said, dropping back down with Tuara.  It had been five minutes at least, and the toa of air was covered in small scrapes from his midnight jaunt through the trees.  His smile remained, but something dark and dangerous hid behind his eyes.  "How long, I don't know."

IC: Skyra Daring - Le-Wahi -

I watched Tuara's display of violence upon Utu, it wasn't quite as shocking to me as I though it would be, and I found myself not really feeling bad for Utu, at all. Trying to get us all killed did not impress me.

"Can Destiny send for help Skyra."

"Yeah..." I put two fingers in my mouth and let out a series of quick whistles. I didn't know where Destiny was exactly, she could have been literally anywhere in the dense jungle, I just knew...I hoped that she was close enough to hear me. If she heard my whistling, she would know to return to Le-koro. It was neither safe nor possible for Destiny to come to us, so I didn't even attempt it. All we had to do was avoid the Rama till help arrived. Sounds easy right?

As Lear ran off and disappeared into the jungles I realized what he was most likely doing, diversion was a common tactic the Gukko Force used.

We didn't hesitate to get moving and make use of Lear's distraction. Tuara had Utu to carry, so I did my best to help Cael, who seemed to be doing the worst of all of us next to Utu. I offered her my shoulder to lean on.

IC: Syvra

Syvra cringed as he heard the voice of another toa.. Then he saw the toa of jungle approaching him and his hand nearly went down to Akrei's thorn which was sheathed at his hip but then another voice spoke up in his mind

Syvra, No!! Do not draw your weapon

Syvra stopped middraw as he heard Venixa's voice and slid the blade back in.. However he kept a hand on the hilt of the sword

You need not shout Venixa

Apparently i do to keep you from doing something stupid

True true.

Also play along syvra.. Never know what how this may benefit you.

Syvra focused his attention on the toa again and noted his appearance

Toa of jungle.. apparently wears a Kiril.. odd mask choice, No weapon i can see now.. seems to be on small side.

Finally syvra spoke up and his voice was perhaps a bit leery

"Do.. i know you?"

"If you haven't noticed, this place isn't safe,"  A voice said from behind Hasil. Whoever the voice was, she threw a charred Parakuka corpse down at his side. If Hasil made any endeavor to figure out who would do this, he would've wasted his mental effort. After Hasil's last discussion with her, he couldn't help but notice her slip. She was less of a silently sort of dangerous as much as she was an explosive sort of dangerous. Depending on the right mood.

"Thought you were the logical one," #61 said, ignoring the displeasure Saren created at her.

"Logic is not the ultimate guide for beings such as us," was Hasil's reply, as he sheathed his blade, before walking to pick up his headcloth and veil again. Unbending after he picked them up, though still not putting them on, he turned to look naked-faced upon the woman before him. Unlike Hasil, whose veil was of the outward type, made of cloth, 61's was more...inward. She was more reserved.

"And yes, I recognize the danger of this place. After two or three Parakuka lost their lives to myself and Saran, the rest realized that they would not find a meal out of either of us. So they left us be." He then went about the process of resettling his headcloth, and putting the veil back in its proper place. He still watched the space around, looking for any hint of some bold Parakuka deciding that another attempt was due.

"I'd assume... Both," She said, sitting down. Ever since she started speaking with Hasil more and more, he had grown confusing. When he started to launch into more complicated things, she almost wished to go back to being isolated.

Almost. And by almost, she meant never in a million years.

"I thought more about what it might be... But all the names I've tried to label me, names that are parts of who I am, don't seem to fit just right. Like my name is dodging me, not wanting to be confined to my being."

Oh why you so sad?
What have they done?
Forget those mindless baboons
They're off playing god
Copycats in cheap suits
All playing it safe
While cannibals with their bad news
Consume the parade

Is it so... Wonderful?

As he walked into the inn he couldn't help but notice a matoran who was staring at him. He sat next to him.

OOC: What kind of Matoran is Kewa.

OOC: Matoran of Iron.

IC: Kewa

Surprisingly, the Toa had sat down next to Kewa. Huh. Kewa looked at the newcomer, and asked, "So, I haven't seen you around Le-Koro. What's your name?"

"And trust the bodies of this village's citizens to the half-trained 'doctors' at the hospital near the Force HQ?" I asked, scoffing. That was a foolish notion. "No thank you. I'd rather not have any more death on my hands."

"... Free of obstruction?" #61/Atea asked, nodding once, "Most certainly something I want to be..."
