IC: Hakari - The Lesterin wonder girl -

"Thanks!" Hakari said cheerfully, this time walking up the stairs instead of running. She always found it difficult to stop when using her Kakama, probably best not to use it indoors she figured. Hopefully she wouldn't forget!

She stopped at room seven and noticed there was someone already there. "Hello!" She waved.

IC: Zeal - Top of the Tree Inn, Room Seven

Pouring his guests' tea he chuckled, to himself more than anyone. "I didn't tame anyone. I freed Aki from an infected mask and he's been following me around since. We respect each other, is all. Don't get me wrong, he's dangerous. Broken his fair share of stable gates in his time." Another chuckle.

Zeal handed Hakari and Maxxta their cups and saucers, limped over to his bed and sat on the edge of it. "So here's the gist; I'm Zeal, and I need something to do. What'd you fellas have in mind?"

IC:Lerada

Left? He hadn't used any! Of course he did, what was he, a Lesterin? With a quiet sigh, Lerada summoned a sudden and strong updraft at Luta's feet, to throw the Le-Matoran to them.

IC: Luta - Le-Koro

He was lifted from the ground, he was briefly flung into the air and then fell on his stomach onto a branch (the weight of the backpack not helping his fall)

"Thanks!"

He said in a somewhat painful tone

"Well we just need to get down and then it's just up between those bushes"

It's time to move on.

OOC: Once again sorry for the delay. I meant to post during the last two weeks while on vacation but a few things happened that kept me from doing so. Once again sorry for keeping you guys waiting.

IC: Helios
I followed Sisk out of the plaza, turning to give Colx a quick wave of goodbye before I disappeared from his view.

"My experience with Rahi-creatures? Not much, I'm afraid, but I'm think-guessing that you are what one could name-call an 'expert' on the subject?"

"Because for what it's worth, I've been told I quick-learn very well"

IC: (Sisk)

"That will well-do, friend." Sisk said, nodding. "And it will sure-definitely be a learning experience!"

He glanced around. Nobody else had come forward to volunteer. His hope had been to assemble a small troupe - no more than four or five Matoran - to complete the task ahead and guide the astray Rahi back to their usual territories. But unless somebody stepped forward within the next three to five minutes, he would have to attempt it with just the Helios and himself. Though ever-so-slightly more difficult that way, their mission could still be accomplished by a duo.

"Is there anything else you need before we set out?" he asked Helios.

OOC: Last chance for one or two more characters to come along for a little Rahi-taming.

IC: Kythera

"Not much, I'm afraid," The vortixx admitted, glancing over to the strange pair as she lead them towards a much more sparsely lit section of the Koro.  Here, the trees were older, larger, with a canopy so dense one could almost mistake the dappled sunlight squeezing through the leaves as nighttime stars.  The assortment of lightstones and torches lit the walkways, storefronts, and dwellings; with little sign of the technological advancement that the rest of the Koro displayed.  Despite the atmosphere, the platforms were just a crowded, and Kythera nearly had to push her way through to get to one of the more trafficked establishments.

"Camping out in the middle of the jungle doesn't do much in terms of news, or keeping up with gossip."

So hiding among the masses wasn't her favorite thing to do, but it certainly was the easiest in Le-Koro.

IC (Rewera & Aparangi):

"So we are more or less on the same page..." Aprangi muttered as they walked. He let out a soft 'hmm', pondering over the situation. Absent-minded, Rewera reached behind her with her left, rubbing her neck.

"Well, then I say we start by getting our hands on a topographical map of Ko-Wahi. We can hunt down rumours about what's happening north later."

"Or," Aparangi interjected, "we find the map and then proceed to the nearest bar."

Rewera frowned slightly at that. "As nice as a cold one might be, I don't think that's a good idea. Too many drunkards, too many brawls."

"Afraid you'll have to put some far-gone Toa in their place?" he teased.

"Afraid that's what you're looking forward to." she shot back. "Haven't you had your fill yet in that jungle-arena adventure of yours?"

Smirk. "Sure did." He rolled his shoulders. "But if we want to get the latest news, there's no better place than a well-frequented bar and an innkeeper with sharp ears."

"Alright." the other Aitua conceded. "But if things go nasty, we walk." Her last syllable was granite. No point in arguing. Not that he wanted to, anyway.

"Fair enough."

Rewera nodded, then turned to Kythera. "You okay with that plan?"

IC: Maxxta:

"I need a hitman. I can provide a weapon."

IC: Zeal - Top of the Tree Inn, Room Seven

"Uh-huh." Though he didn't show it, Zeal was incredulous at what Maxxta had just said. Whatever happened to starting off slow?

IC: Hakari

Hakari turned and looked at Maxxta with wide eyes, she nearly dropped her tea.

"I-I just want someone to escort me to Ga-koro."

He turned his head to the energetic Lesterin, praying for something more reasonable (and legal) than an assassination contract. Hearing Hakari's idea, he nodded slowly, understanding her terror fully. "I like that one, let's go with that one." Zeal turned back to Maxxta and said "If you'd care to, you could accompany us."

The Silver Toa shrugged. "Your call. We'll wait here a little while longer in case anyone else answers my ad. We could start with names, they're always fun." Zeal suddenly groaned and smacked himself in the forehead. "I'm a moron. Would either of you care for cream or sugar? Both? Neither?" In all truthfulness Maxxta's determination and bluntness was making Zeal very uncomfortable.

The Silver Toa stifled a laugh, but quickly assumed his Serious Face. "Sorry, man, perhaps if you catch me in a worse mood." He poured Hakari another cup of tea, this time offering cream and sugar, grinning mischievously at her.

IC: Hakari

Hakari stuck her tongue out at Maxxta as he left, then turned back to Zeal. "Well, my name is Hakari, I'm a Lesterin! I've haven't been on the island for very long but I've been exploring! I lived in Ta-koro for a time...then I came with a friend to Le-koro and uh...well that's about it really."

"Mata Nui's a very... hit-and-miss place. Fine and dandy one moment, Karzahni itself the next. Seems like the island itself has a penchant for getting into trouble..." Zeal grinned reassuringly. "So, why're you heading to Ga-Koro?"

Sipping at his tea, Zeal gave a nostalgic sigh. "Le-Koro's probably my favourite place, although I may be biased since I washed up in Kanae Bay. That said..." another sip, "... Ga-Koro has the best darned tea on the island. There's this tavern, I forget the name, and the tea there is just... epic." Zeal grinned from ear to ear, daydreaming.

"Sounds like as good a plan as any to me," Kythera replied, shrugging in agreement.  A beat passed, and her brow furrowed ever so slightly as her two ice blue eyes disappeared beneath their lids for an instant.  "Although..."

"I can't give any promises about not putting some hopeless romantic drunkard through a table," The vortixx gave an apologetic grin, "Sorry, Rewera."

IC: Hakari

"I have no idea what you're talking about..." Hakari admitted. "But that sounds really interesting!"

IC: Zeal - Top of the Tree Inn, Room Seven

"Pay me no mind, I'm but a crazy old man," Zeal said in a somewhat contemptuous tone. Two-hundred-sixty-seven years, give or take, and I'm already on a bloody cane.

He shook his head. "Do we wanna wait around a little longer or start for Ga-Koro? The idea of actually leaving this sodding inn has be a little antsy, I'll admit."
