Next RPG Contest

Normally, the next RPG contest would begin in a little over a week and span most of December. After the September contest, however, and based on this feedback I was planning on increasing the amount of time between contests to four months and having our next contest in January.Unfortunately, we suffered from some data loss and most of the RPGs have decided to not restart. This makes me want to have a contest next month, but I don't want to start doing four months between contests as I don't feel the timing of having then every December, April, and August is ideal and would prefer January, May, September.I'm open to your thoughts though, so please share so we can come up with something that works for as many as possible.

January, May, September, sounds good to me. What with the BZPRPG reboot and all, it's not like we're desperately in need of new player-run RPGs this very instant. And, after all, City of Legends and Era seem to have a bit of life left in 'em. I'm sure their respective GMs wouldn't mind a bit of extra run time.

For me, ever since the crash iy made me lose the RPG standpoint that I once had. Plus I'm still uneasy on getting in on the reboot since everyone that I was with in the BZPRPG is doing a new chapter in their lives since the data crash.

Personally I would prefer a January, May, September setup. However, that still leaves the rather irking question of what to do with December (although it might not hurt to just let what RPGs there are run through the month).

As far as which month the contest takes place in, I'd honestly prefer December-April-August because it means the "first set" each year begins in January; having the contest itself in January would mean having it start up in February... which would be a bit odd.

 

Still... having a contest in May would benefit my timing more than having one in April... so I'll bite. Contest in January, then.

 

Give the current GMs some time too, eh?

January-May-September works. The only downside is that means the RPG's won't actually start until February, June, and October. That feels a little off, but I'm sure we'll get used to it. Sounds good to me.

I needed this reminder. I've been wanting to get an entry in at least one contest. Personally, January would be fine for me, and all the other month dates don't leave slash marks in my calendar.
