Travelling most of your life all over Mata-Nui and doing lots of things most people wouldn't think of had its advantages. One of them being able to spot things from afar.Having found Skyra and Laserbreak from the sky along with a few people, the gukko bird flew closer to the ground before Volin jumped off and landed right beside Skyra."Made it. The Rahkshi of Plant Control wheeled around first, and before Veira could move, it had ensnared her in the branches of the tree she sat in. The Rahkshi of Density made her body suddenly immensely dense, and this drew her inexorably towards the earth. She hit the ground heavily. She just simply nodded as she watched the fight, yet still listening to Laserbeak. IC: Skyra, XxethSkyra kept on parrying and dodging, but he started to throw in the occasional offensive swing as well. Xxeth stepped up his use of his mask power, increasing it to about what he could handle while sword fighting. It started to look like Xxeth was gaining the upper hand, Skyra was narrowly evading and parrying some of his more deadly blows, both Toa had small cuts appearing on their arms, chests, and even legs a bit, the fight was going so fast that only those who were trained well in sword fight or similar skills could keep up where the blades were striking. Xxeth may have been faster, but Skyra had more skill in swordplay, the whole time, Skyra had been simply adjusting to whatever pace Xxeth was using.Then, Xxeth managed to pull a feint, landing a sucker punch with his free hand, hitting Skyra in the face, knocking the Toa over. Xxeth swung for the kill.Only to be send flying backwards, Skyra used his Hau just in time, he stood up, shaking off the blow to the face, he spit out some blood. "I'll admit, you almost had me there brother. Come on then, get up! I know your not done yet." he panted as he caught his breath.Xxeth growled, and stood up, panting. "For once, we both agree on something." he charged at Skyra, and the fight continued. No one knows greed better than I do, and I could see the avarice burning in his eyes. He didn't want to kill me, no; he wanted desperately to humiliate me and prove his worth. And I used that to lure him to his own defeat.But there was one variable left to solve: why had he let Itaku live? A few inches higher, and Toa of Iron would have impaled himself on the blade. Instead, Ketan had let his opponent escape unharmed, save for his pride.It took a moment, but Ketan recognized the reason for his weakness: it was the same emotion he had seen in Itaku's face. Greed. He hadn't wanted to kill the Toa because he could be useful. He was an able fighter, and could be easily controlled. He was an ideal henchman.I don't need a henchman. But to waste a perfectly good Toa because of a short temper... that would be a sin.Ketan frowned, then strapped the scythe to his back and continued on his way, little knowing that the real sin was not murder, and it had taken root in his heart.As he left, Matoran peeked out of doorways and windows, and slowly began to spill out into the street again. Still, she had to fight. Using her power over gravity, she lightened her weight and shifted out of the way.Twisting, she swung her legs forcefully at the Rahkshi as to knock it over, then flipping up and jumping, stopping at its head. Either Xxeth and his temper, or his brother and... whatever. She decided she'd have to be the one to settle this. Any other way and the two would end up killing each other. She walked dangerously close to the fight with a very angry frown upon her face."Alright you two, break it up before I have to take away your swords and magnetize the two of you together! If you two are going to act like bratty children, bickering and fighting like Brakas, then I'm going to have to step in and end this!" It swung its staff at her head - she ducked just in time - and the Rahkshi's blow disintegrated a nearby tree stump into tiny particles. Before she could make it very far, though, the Rahkshi of Plant Control forced roots up from the earth, and they snaked around Veira as a cage, thickening by the instant. Please, neither of them would be very happy with you if you interrupt it." IC: Skyra, XxethThe two combatant's were way too locked in combat to even notice Moylan, they kept on fighting intensely. Skyra seemed to be wearing down, Xxeth's mask of speed made it easier not to tire going so fast. *SCRAPE* The tip of Xxeth's weapon locked into Skyra's, the two katana's laser tips causing sparks to fly from each other. "Give up this pointless battle Xxeth, end it here." Skyra said through his clenched teeth."That's the plan brother!" Xxeth broke off the lock, and quickly swiped, catching the tip of his blade at Skyra's right eye, putting a permanent scratch on his mask.Skyra just stopped, he didn't move, his eye closed. Xxeth stopped, wondering if the blow had been serious, then Skyra's eye's opened, and it was clear to Xxeth the would was superficial. It was at this point that Skyra stopped holding back. He began to strike rapidly, completely on the offensive, Xxeth tried to match it with his superior speed, but it did little good against Skyra's precise strikes, keeping Xxeth on the defensive. Up there, flying, being one with the wind, one with the sky. That is fun, that is enjoyment. That is what I want to do." Lans whistled and Claw-Wing soared down to him, the lithe Kahu landing gracefully next to Lans, "So, yeah I'll see you later." The Kahu then rose and took off.Lans was glancing down at the ground when he caught sight of duel, as a Gukko Force member it was his duty to stop fighting, it's what Lewa would do. He gestured Claw-Wing to soar down and as he did so, Lans drew one of his saifs, unfortunately in his hurry Lans didn't notice the Rama that was speeding towards him, the collision knocked him off balance and he and Claw-Wing quickly went hurtling down to the ground right between the two combatants. The Matoran quickly leaped to his feet and drew his other blade, setting himself up in a defensive stance.
