IC: Dorian (Docks, Xa-Koro)As the boat coasted into the docks of the "village," if it could indeed be called that, Dorian's keen blue eyes scanned the mostly empty dock: it was still night, which meant not many other ships were still unloading, and dock personnel was at a minimum. One Toa of the Green in particular caught the Mark Bearer's attention: he had that feeling, like he didn't belong in the appropriate setting. Picture a giant robot that can transform into any vehicle or object known to man being dropped into the current world, and see how you react. That was the feeling Dorian got off this Toa.Shrugging after a second, he decided to let Brykon handle it: the other Toa of Iron would probably want to get some energy out after the duel in Onu-Wahi.IC: Kellin (Tunnels, Xa-Koro)Hundreds of feet below the docks, Kellin torched another spiderweb and caught something with his eyes: a Hau, carved into the side of the wall at his ankle level, with a hole where another Toa's mask would be. Recognizing the trick from the Temple of Wisdom, Kellin slashed upwards with his sword, standing painfully still: before and behind him, spears spit out from the ground and walls, aiming to impale him every which way. Sending out a small burst of sound, Kellin watched as the spikes inches - no, centimeters - away from him crumbled to dust and blew away.Odd. There shouldn't be air in these tunnels, he thought, moving forward and resolving to stay twice as sharp as he already was.-Teezy

IC: ReichenbachA thick fog glided in towards the dock, the shape of a small boat only just visible through it.Although no-one could see them, there were four beings onboard: Reichenbach, Stranax, Fantum and Gunfi.Fantum and Stranax rowed the boat in, docking it, before Reichenbach climbed out of it, the fog following him, leaving the rather unnerving image of an empty rowboat which had appeared from nowhere.OOC: Minor bunnying on your character, pie.

IC: Galvatroth climbed to the deck and used well-aimed laser vision to crack the ice encasement in key places, while using his flame cannon to destroy the wall, so his cannonballs would still fly though. "Nice try, Toabot." He shot laser vision at the two plasma bolts, causing explosions. "Who is THIS, Magnus?!" He noticed someone who looked like he was wearing a Rahi. "SPEAK, FOOL, AND DIE!" He shot from his flame cannon at both of them repeatedly while running back to the cannon deck.

IC: Big ConvoyBig Convoy flipped out one of his tonfa, and slashed at the fire directed at him. Between the blow, and the air current, the flame glanced his sides. And that was caught by his armor. In a split second, he aimed, and re-fired his cannon. "Hello, Galvatroth."

IC: Kellin (Ruins, Under Xa-Koro)Moving forward, Kellin finally stopped at the edge of a large crevice in the ground: to the left and right, large tunnels were open and gaping, inhaling anything in their paths and sucking them into a one way trip to God-only-knew-where-Koro. Kellin looked around for any way to try and avoid it, but there was absolutely nothing to grab onto and try and climb, and the tunnels took up all space in the wall. Only one way to go: down.Moving fast, the treasure hunter vaulted forward and activated his Pehkui, turning into a dust-mite sized Kellin and falling into the crevice fast enough that the tunnel couldn't suck him in. About halfway down the crevice, he reactivated his Pehkui and stabbed his sword into the wall. He squinted at it, looking closer, and realized that it was an inscription, written in some other language.Interesting. It seems to be another language entirely, with no base similarities to Matoran. If I had the Kartayl on me...Kellin had left the Blood Kanohi, the Kanohi Kartayl, Mask of Wisdom, behind under lock and key in his room at the inn, preferring instead to bring his Pehkui in case he needed it; if he lost the mask down here, he knew he might never retrieve it. So, instead, he propped himself up with his feet and began to copy as much of the inscription as he could (it was a bit worse for wear, and several paragraphs and images had faded away) and then pulled his sword out a bit, allowing him to slide down to the bottom of the chasm. Another small tunnel was situated in the wall near Kellin, and he plucked another torch from its holster on the wall, lighting it and walking through the cobwebbed entrance...-Teezy

Ic: The boat bumped up to the dock and the assistant quickly tied it firmly into place. The docks were mostly empty, devoid of people and ships for the most part. A few pirate vessels were docked, as well as a small number of colorful crewmembers, but they only watched as Brykon and his gang disembarked. The captain, however, had no intentions of staying: He pulled away as soon as he was able to and gave Brykon a solid salute, both of good fortune and "au revoire, I hope to see you alive next time." Brykon didn't bother to return the gesture. The piers were wooden and long and stretched into the jigsaw puzzle of Xa-Koro. Rows and rows of whale oil lamps hung from poles on the sides of the docks, illuminating the stretches with eerie and foreboding light that faded in the fog, giving the image of a haunted and dark settlement. Dull orange light could be seen spreading in the musky mists that lay of the village, and the sound of life could be heard leaking ever so slightly from the stone and grass and wooden walls, like haunted wails of people and music ghastly to the ear. It was there that Brykon had to take his people."Brykon..." Dorian started in a hushed tone."I know. I saw him, too," Brykon said softly, his voice covered by the lapping of the waves. He did not bother to look in the direction of the green toa who stuck out like a tree in a plain. "I'm going to let him follow for now. The next time he reveals himself I'll deal with him."

IC: Galvatroth countered with his laser vision just like before, and got back down to the cannon deck. "Good...so my name still carries some weight on this pathetic insect island." He fired a volley of cannonballs, loading all the cannons and firing them all simultaneously with his flame cannon, triggering all the gunpowder. "AND WHO WOULD YOU BE, RAHI-TOA?!"

IC: Dorian (Xa-Koro)"Understood, boss," Dorian murmured, keeping alongside the bard as the rest of Bad Company followed from behind. "Got another cigar?"IC: Kellin (Ruins, Under Xa-Koro)Hundreds of feet below, far away from the scheming and plotting of the denizens of the village, a lone treasure hunter moved his torch towards the wall, uncovering more transcriptions in the same language as before.Interesting...He took to copying them down again, cursing the fact that he didn't have the Mask of Wisdom on his person, before continuing his walk down the tunnel. When the small chasm ended, he was in a circular room surrounded by doors, each numbered from 1 to 25 in archaic Matoran."Next time, Kellin," he muttered to himself, "bring the mask."-Teezy

OOC: I'm not sure you could counter a blast of plasma with laser vision. One is a fairly large blast, the other is a concentrated, thin beam. But whatever.IC: Big Convoy"My name would hold no meaning to you." Big Convoy replied, hurling a Madu Cabolo at the ship."But this one would. The island of Tal."OOC: BTW, if you haven't already seen it, the info for Tal is in Hubert's blog.

OOC: He just makes it heat up to the point of being unstable and blowing up. IC: Galvatroth used his laser vision to blow up the Madu Cabolo in midair, looking out of the cannon hole. Then, he repeated hispreviously ignored simultanous fire of cannons, therefore now two rows of deadly cannonballs were flying at Big Convoy simultaneously. "Ah...the Tal expedition. Your Toabots left you to die, and here you fight for them still?!" Galvatroth was obviously attempting to mess with his head, but it was a valid argument nonetheless. "You serve those too cowardly to give aid." OOC: So, are there gonna be Predacons now too?

IC: Big Convoy Convoy lunged to the side, and fired his cannon, destroying the few cannon balls that would still hit him."No. I am not a Toabot." Big Convoy cast his cannon aside, and ran forward, maces in hand. "I am a Maximal."OOC: Yeah. The same that happened to the Maximals happened to the Predacons. I'm waiting to see if someone else wants to make them before I do.

Ic: "No," Brykon said simply before taking a final drag and tossing the stub in the water. He left it at that as he walked proudly but painfully forward. The pirates let them be, either because of their appearance or the equipment they carried. They walked on across the piers and finally entered the village proper. It was still hot from the fire that devoured the place, and the ashen waste was a shock for Brykon. "What in the seven yup..." he muttered as he saw the devastation. Wooden huts were gone, grass shelters were nonexistent, and the stone houses were charred to the point of looking like chunks of carbon. The bigger buildings were either the same way or were shells of what they were, and most of the people who resided in the city were just as scarred from the damages. The orange hue he saw from afar was from the great bonfires the people erected to burn the charred wood and things in an effort to clear the area and start anew.Brykon put a new cigar to his lips and raised a match to light it, earning emotive stares of ire from Dorian and those residents who saw the defileing flame burst up in Brykon's face. Brykon paused before putting the match to the cigar and looked at those around him, but then spat on the ground and lit it anyway: Screw the rules. He tossed the match away and let some poor boy squash it in disgust and ignored his contempt as he just walked forward. That woman in Onu-Koro said something about getting orders here. Guess that means there is another one of her kind here. But an envoy... or a Peer?

OOC: Galvatroth is on the Nemesis. How would maces be of any use? Technically, he's not even docked.IC: Galvatroth fired a cannon and then set the cannonball on fire as it flew with his flame cannon, straight at the Maximal who so foolishly ran straight at it. "Maximal? That's what you're called now? No matter...you ally with those who left you to die on Tal. Why bother? You could join our ranks...assuming that cannonball doesn't kill you here and now." His tone was callous and uncaring, impartial to the outcome. OOC: Galvatroth has some of the best lines ever...lol.

IC: Dorian (Xa-Koro)Dorian grumbled a bit but said nothing out of respect for Brykon, contenting to withdraw his own package of cigarettes he had picked up in Po-Wahi and lighting one; they were inferior to the boss's smokes of choice, but they were better than nothing. Dorian's nerves needed calming after the events of the last day. No matter what the other Bearers believed, those visions hurt like a saperka straight to the...well, you get the idea."This place looks rife for an ambush," he noted quietly. "Plenty of rubble for someone to hide in and get a vantage point, and we're not sure who else is tailing us. You sure this is legit?"-Teezy

IC: Big Convoy"No. I am against you."Convoy pushed off, propelling him diagonally forward. The cannon ball grazed his shoulder, but with his armor, it didn't even cause a bruise. He kept running forward. "The Toabots can burn for all I care, but I remain your enemy."

IC: Feongulf -The docks were one of the few places in Xa-Koro that were constantly active. Day or night, there were always ships arriving and and setting sale, whether they were pirates returning from raids or passenger boats bringing beings with nowhere else to go.A well-armed group exiting one of the ships caught Feongulf's eye. Or, more specifically, the Toa of Jungle tailing them did.The tail was not very good at his job, he stuck out out like am angry Toa of Fire in the frozen wastes of Ko-Koro, which isn't something inductive to following someone unaware.Feongulf followed him, keeping as inconspicuous as she possibly could. Whoever those people are, the're important enough for someone to hire somebody to keep on eye on, she thought. Pays to know who's spying on who.The group walked along, heading for one of the burn-out districts of the city. The group seemed to waiting for someone. Someone who's not on time, she guessed, shrugging.

IC: Dorian (Xa-Koro)Dorian could sense the sneer in Brykon's voice, but he decided to ignore it and the Toa of Iron merely settled for a shrug."Just covering all my bases, boss," he said with a shrug. OC: Big ConvoyBut Convoy wasn't called the one man army for nothing. He waited. The cannonballs were metal, same as his maces. Which meant, the one difference was that the cannonballs were moving far faster. At exactly the right moment, Convoy swung, knocking the projectiles off course. Some shrapnel flew from the impact, but it was easily stopped by his armor. Before Galvatroth could fire again, after all, cannons usually require more than one person to operate each, he threw a Madu Cabolo straight into the mouth of the two cannons."You forget, Galvatroth. You left your troops to die as well."

OOC: That borders on modding. The handle/shaft of the mace could be snapped in half by such a trick..plus, there are like eight cannonballs, not two or three. He fires simultaneously by lighting them all at once with his flame cannon after he loads them. Oh well, let's just keep going. IC: Galvatroth once again, with no more difficulty than he had before, defended his ship and cannons with laser vision. The Madu Cabolo blew up in midair. "Fair enough...they were insects, as are you." Galvatroth shot a flame blast from his cannon at Big Convoy, then loaded all his cannons and fired them simultaneously again.

OOC: Not necessarily. If he had tried to block the shots, the handles most certainly would have snapped. Instead, he redirected them. In that way, they might not snap. Obviously I haven't had the chance to test redirecting cannonballs with a mace. :PAlso since he has to load all the cannons, it slows down the firing speed.IC: Big ConvoyBig Convoy dropped, and rolled forward, going under the attack. Taking advantage of the time it took Galvatroth to reload, he jumped into the water, and dived down. He started swimming toward the ship. With the sun glinting off the water the way it was, Galvatroth most likely couldn't see him.

IC: Big ConvoyConvoy simply dived deeper, avoiding the tremendous heat. He spied a recently dead corpse tied to a rock, knives still held in a belt. He wasn't surprised. It was Xa-Koro, after all.He grabbed the knives, and then used them to start climbing the ship, stabbing the knives into the wood. He hugged the side of the ship, namely, the opposite side from where Galvatroth was. The Skakdi wouldn't notice his approach.

IC - Naryth Zenoklass - From Onu-KoroNaryth kept to himself, wary of the Islets. It wasn't as though he hadn't made enemies in his time. He'd once had twelve assassins after him. Only three had attacked him at seperate times. Then again, most of the people in the Bad Company had rivals. Opponents. Flat-out nemesises. He didn't smoke- it would only block his vision and cloud his mind -and instead bit a bullet shell. The cold, hard metal kept him focused. They were going to be tasked with something important enough to be sent away for, and it was clearly very dangerous. No walk-in-the-park mission took place in the Islets. He awaited orders, shrapnel gun primed.

OOC: Naryth's back?IC: Galvatroth could hear him well when he was right behind him, and ducked, allowing the maces to slam into each other. As they were metal as previously stated, that would send vibrations and shocks through Big Convoy's arms. He drew his sword and stabbed at his opponent's stomach, being that close, while also shooting laser vision at his crotch. "HOW THE KARZ?!"

IC: Big ConvoyThe sword simply glanced off Convoy's armor. It was, after all, of advanced make and about twice as strong as normal armor. The laser was stopped, but it did weaken the armor there. After all, it was sensitive to extreme heat, though Galvatroth didn't know either of these facts, as there was no visible difference in the armor."You talk too much."With that said, Convoy went on the offensive. He attacked relentlessly, forcing Galvatroth to focus on blocking. Convoy was careful to ensure that he didn't let Galvatroth bring his flame cannon to bear.

IC: However, the cannon was mounted on his arm at all times anyway. Galvatroth jumped back to avoid the massive offensive, both propelling himself backwards with his flame cannon's recoil while he jumped--and shooting point blank at Big Convoy. "You live too much."

IC: Big ConvoyConvoy lunged to the side, the blast grazing his right leg. It wasn't long enough exposure to cause serious damage to the armor's ability, but it certainly didn't help.He rolled with his lunge, getting into a squat, before propelling himself forward, shoving a Madu Cobolo into Galvatroth face, and swinging his mace into Galvatroth's cannon, before jumping back, ready to avoid the next attack.
