I haven't had the time to devote to reading this because I knew that once I started I couldn't possibly stop and I was right. And I'm not saying that from the perspective of seeing myself in such an awesome, manipulative role, it's a legit, compelling story all the way around. Especially with the Final Traitor being unknown. I have a theory on who it is, but I'm keeping mum about it for now. But yes, Sumiki is an excellent villain so far. What sets this Ghost apart is that they have technology allowing them to survive their own demise, but otherwise they are clearly labelled as a villain. Talking about Matoran, what generation are they supposed to be? I always imagine them being '01 Matoran but when it gets to the action/violent parts it makes me laugh a bit at the thought of the little guys shooting holes in each other. So yeah, '01, '03, or '05? I would pay attention to some of the stuff in italics during the first sequence; some of it will play an important part later on. Some buildup in here for Book 2, of course - as to when Book 2 will launch... well, I have no idea. I intend to spend more time perfecting Book 2 than I did with Book 1, so we'll see!
