Anybody heard of the "Legend of the Toa" mod for Skyrim!?

Well check it out! Here's the project on ModDB:

And here are some of the latest pictures:

Dat Nui Jaga is just  :drooling: !!!

Despite the moderator is far from complete, there is already an addon that allows you to select the Toa as a playable race with Kanohi powers, Element powers and special weapons/armour.

I'm really surprised I haven't heard anything about this over here...

I have an early version of that. What do you mean by moderators?

I've seen it on Skyrim Nexus, though it didn't show any Nui-Jaga there. I've been holding off on trying it because it didn't look like it had gotten all that far yet when i first found it. I may test it out later, but I have so many mods installed already I'm almost afraid to break something.

And yeah, those 3D models look fantastic. Maybe just a hint too set-like for the Skyrim environment, but apart from that it's brilliant. The textures used and the detail of the models makes me really happy.

EDIT: I hadn't seen the trailers and test runs they have posted until now. Those are awesome.

Whoops, typo. Corrected! XD

You can't fix it. It's word filtered.

Wuh!? *Looks back at word* Darn it!

I have neither played Skyrim nor know anything at all about is, but these images are so fantastic that it almost makes me want to...almost.

Nice find, Tattorack.

Thanks, and this REEEEEAAAAAALLLYYY makes me want to have Skyrim. Seriously, just for this moderator!

Well, the general idea is to have a total conversion of Skyrim to the island of Mata Nui. So in the end you wont see wolves and Normans walk around but instead Mahi and Matorans

Yeah, the trailers are just........ O.O

Yep, this is a pretty commonly known project.

Did you know that Cezium designed the Nui Jaga?

No I didn't! High 5 him for me! ^^

I like these pics of the moderator. Though the only thing I have to complain about, is that Lewa has a Hau instead of a Miru.

"It's not Lewa, but another Toa of Air, fighting monsters in Skyrim."

Besides that, it could just as well be Lewa since all the Toa Mata were on a quest to find 6 masks and did use them.

EDIT:

Here is their main site: Linkiii

Its in Russian so don't expect to understand much of it.

It appears though that they have already started on Matorans!

I wish sme of those made-up parts were real...

Hmm, yes, I'm pretty sure it's still somewhat early in the development. Not to say that they haven't done a lot... there's just a lot to do.

I'm really surprised there hasn't already been topic about this. Wasn't there a news article on it some time ago?

Matorans!

...

save not only their lives

My, my, those textures have come a long way since I last saw them, being far more worn and no longer like the sheen of a Jolly Rancher.

I am happy to see that this is still under development. Even if we don't get a full overhaul, just having a plugin that adds Toa, Rahi, and Kanohi would be marvelous for a lore-murdering Skyrim playthrough.

Definitely something worth starting a new game for when it's more complete.

Oh, that'll be quite a while yet.

Oh definitely.

By the way, there is a Rahi building contest, on their blog. The page is in Russian but Google Translate explains most of it.

One of my friends showed me this a while ago and it got me super stoked. I'm really excited to finally have the opportunity to really explore Mata Nui. I just hope the project doesn't run out of steam before they finish!

Well, if I remember correctly they've been busy for over a year (or two?) and still running quite strong.
