Obsessionist
Is there a way to display a Youtube video, and have it automatically start at a desired point?
Reznas
It has to do with the link you use. There are three ways: 1. You can either start a video (on your account), exit, and then go back to it. The video should start where you left off, and your browser will have a unique URL containing the info for the time, 2. you can use this site to get the link for you, and 3. (this is similar to 2., except it's manual) you can take the initial link to the YouTube video, and then add a "?t=xmys" to the end (x minutes, y seconds). -Rez EDIT: They do work, however, you need to add a "?" instead of a "&". 25K Now!
Or you could go to the Youtube video, click on the "Share" button next to the description, and under that tab should be an option to set the time where you want your link (which is also under the share tab) to go. This is essentially what my last two points suggested; however, the link doesn't seem to be recognized in media tags? Example: http://youtu.be/WFPRoL-QSVg?t=1m29s http://youtu.be/WFPRoL-QSVg?t=1m29s-Rez EDIT: It seems like this is an issue on BZPower. Perhaps we should make a tracker issue? Kopekemaster
I think it's a problem caused by the shortened URL of that type. It's essentially if you put the Youtube URL through TinyURL, and tried to put the result it in the media tags. Edited May 17, 2014 by Kopekemaster Quote My Writing Blog (more writing coming soon!) Kopekemaster
Hrm. Now that is odd. I'm not sure what would cause it to do that. Quote My Writing Blog (more writing coming soon!) Obsessionist
No "share" links, nor the original link with the ?t=xmys ending, brought up a video for me.

But it's good he was not sexist.Breez: destroy the bridge*bridge destoryed*Breez: Well doneBULK: Good thinking EVOThis link works though. I think the issue has to do with the embedded video tech, not the links themselves. Yeah, that's what we (or at least I) was saying. The TinyURL-esque shortening of the URL impairs the embedding (at least, I'm pretty sure, from what I've seen on my blogs and such), but doesn't do anything to the actual link.
