Obsolescence Posted August 3, 2014 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Brutaka. Goofy name, but a nice color scheme and a very intimidating look. Honestly, 2006 was a pretty good year. Yes, the Inika had their flaws, namely their narrow torsos and excessively long limbs, but at the time, the designs were unique and as advanced as we had ever gotten. I remember being totally blown away by how cool they looked and how mobile they were ( IIRC they were the most flexible sets at that point) . I also really liked the light-up swords (Still do, in fact) . Also have to give them points for setting up a building style that would continue for the rest of Bionicle's life. Vezon and Fenrakk are a close runner up though. I recently rebuilt Fenrakk and the pair just look so cool on my desk that they might become a permanent fixture.
