Nice MOC!!!! I like the use of the Rahkshi heads on the shoulders, it gives a bit more of an impression of strength, which is what you would expect from a Toa of Iron. The small handguard on the spear is good too, in many of the official sets hands are just too exposed sometimes. The tubes inside the chest armour are very good at filling in the gaps in the Nuva chestplate. Is the Avohkii actually an Avohkii, or does it have a different power in-story? Also, if I were you, I would swap out a few of the silver pieces for gold or orange, both to break up the colour scheme a little, and also because Toa of Iron aren't normally fully silver. The picture in the post does bear a strange resemblance to Takanuva. Other than that, I like it!

This MOC is not very unique. Not bad, really, just bland and boring. You should follow Miras' suggestions of changing the mask and adding some color.

I like the third picture (the side view of the head) where the eye piece colour seems the come out gray; now wouldn't that make for a cool eye colour

 

I like the rakshi shoulder armour (always wanted to do that, but I'm not daring enough to ply off the upper shoulders off my Glatorians ) and I like the tubing detail showing through the Chest piece. The lower arms seem kind of hollow and awkward from the front though... :X

I don't really focus on the Kanohi powers as much as the shape of the mask and how it would look on a MOC. Unfortunately, I do not have that many gold pieces, and I wasn't too fond of using orange on this MOC. Yeah, shortly after building him I thought "Takanuva".

The piraka legs for arms were the only solution I had at the time. :/
