Taccer
After I originally quit buying Bionicle sets in 2005, I *finally* got my hands on a Toa Hahli Inika set (the swirly marblyness!) second hand. The set and canister were in good condition but once I found some working batteries for her Laser Harpoon and pressed the button, it started flashing at full speed and wont stop unless I knock the batteries out. I have other Inika tools and know that the flashing speeds up then slows down before stopping. I can only assume that the Harpoon has been damaged in some way over the years. Has anybody else seen this, and found any kind of remedy? Thanks! Edited June 21, 2014 by Taccer
Rahkshi Guurahk
Only way to fix this I can see is to rewire the inside of it. The 1st Shadow
I almost envy you. When taking pictures for my comics, I occasionally can't get the things to stay flashing long enough for a decent picture. Kopekemaster
First thought: holy cow, this is awesome.I've never had this problem, nor have I seen anyone else who has. I'd just recommend keeping the batteries out, then just popping them in when you want for a SUPER POWAH NONSTOP INIKA WEAPON. Quote My Writing Blog (more writing coming soon!) Bfahome
Only way to fix this I can see is to rewire the inside of it.I don't imagine it'll be quite so easy, since it's likely an issue with the circuit board. Kopekemaster
Is the button jammed? I don't think that actually affects it. **goes to check**Nope, it doesn't. Taccer
Huh, not a lot I can do then. Will try and pick up a spare on Bricklink. Maybe I can sell this one as a special edition ever-lasting Laser Harpoon! Thanks for responses.
