You don't have to worry about this now, but for the future, an easy way to have a link in the text would be to type what you want to be in the link first, highlight it, and then click the "link" button and paste the URL in the box that comes up. Or, to do it the old-fashioned by-hand way:[ url="url here" ]Text you want[ /url ][without the spaces]For example:BZPower!

[but then you'd have to switch editing modes to BBCode, rather than the default preview setting, or else it won't work]Hope that helps. =]And @ Click, Ziko is correct -- by "unreasonable" I meant a story that would basically be considered a Novelette, of which from Wikipedia the word count is described as "between 7,500 and 17,499." Technically, also from Wikipedia, "the term short story most often refers to a work of fiction no longer than 20,000 words and no shorter than 1,000," but 20k is really quite long, especially for a contest where all the stories have to be read. In short: Over 20k would be quite unreasonable, and it'd be much preferred to be under 7,500 [which is a lot by itself]. So yes, 3-4k, words is fine. newso1.png Edited by Velox

Yeah, no worries -- it's not a strict cut-off [unless your story was, say, like 30k then I might disqualify it for being unreasonably too long]. newso1.png

Hmm... this has definitely become one of the largest writing contests on here, if I'm not mistaken. Good to see so much competition. Eager to see how the judges... well... judge. XP
