Over at Amazon, they have some pretty decent price cuts on some of the first half 2014 Ninjago sets. 70723 Thunder Raider is $19.49 (35% off), 70724 NinjaCopter is $41.99 (30% off), and 70725 Nindroid Mech Dragon is $61.57 (32% off). Some of the smaller sets are on sale as well, but the savings aren't quite as good. If you've been looking to pick up some of these sets, this looks like a great time!

I can definitely recommend the Nindroid MechDragon. It was one of the first 2014 sets I got and is an amazing design, with plenty of cool and useful parts (including plenty of Medium Lilac, as well as the HF large beast feet and loads of the new fixed-angle plates) great minifigures (two of which, Sensei Garmadon and Evil Wu, will not appear in any other sets this year unless Lego pulls out a D2C surprise). Nya's car (included sans Nya herself) is also included, and is a surprisingly fun model, with possibly some of the best flick-fire functionality in any set.

The NinjaCopter is a decent set, also with great figs (again, two of them are exclusive, those being battle-damaged Zane and Pixal) and some interesting parts (like the large Technic wheel. But the core model is slightly less outstanding than the gorgeous MechDragon, and the included Nindroids and their vehicle are nothing to write home about.
