Aanchir
C'mon, guys, I could forgive the somewhat sloppy reporting for the Chima constraction sets because they weren't at New York Toy Fair. But these sets WERE, and you reported on them months ago. There's simply no excuse for having to guess the piece count and price, information that has been common knowledge since February. For the record, you're right that the price is $14.99, but with the piece count you weren't even close — the set contains 102 pieces, as can be readily ascertained by checking either Brickset or this site's own Toy Fair coverage. I apologize if I sound irritated, but I expect better from this site. Eurobricks consistently gets this stuff right, and they don't even specialize in constraction. Also, it bothers me that the stickers are not attached in this review, nor even so much as mentioned. If you're opting not to attach the stickers out of personal preference, that's fine, but at least say so so that readers will know the set comes with a sticker sheet and will not have to infer it from photos not even included in the review. Likewise, the printed shell is not mentioned nor included in the "new and interesting parts" photo, despite its exclusivity to this set. On the whole, this review feels rather lacking in depth as well as research. Good photos, though. I love this set and definitely consider it a "must-have" for the summer wave. It's deliciously unique on a structural level, and very complex to boot. I think the ability to attach its claw or Bulk Drill Machine's drill to Surge & Rocka Combat Machine is a clever gimmick. And this is the first time a constraction set has included a winch, so that makes this model especially unique. I look forward to the official release of these sets! The one thing about this set that strikes me as odd is that Breez has a different color armor piece than in either of her other appearances this year. Either color works for her, but it's rather strange regardless. EDIT: Also no mention of her zip line? EDIT 2: OK, it is at least acknowledged in the video, if not mentioned in the text review. Nathan Evo
Well, I haven't read the full review yet, but the fact that you constantly misspell Breez's name is "Breeze" is jarring.
Ventum (Mittens)
This set looks quite interesting. I love the new lime armor overlays that come in this! The play features are pretty good and top notch too!I notice with a lot of these new sets though, that they main play features are just slapped on some base of HF bones and armor. It's cool and all, but they make the bases look very hollow and unfinished. Really quite a bummer, since I actually kind of like the idea of this year's wave, and liked the Winter wave.Cannot wait for more reviews!
