TheSkeletonMan939
Remember that old CD in 2001 called the Power Pack? If you put it in a music player it played some music, but if you popped it in your computer you visited Po-Koro and clicked around. Anyway: has anyone ripped those three music tracks in lossless? As in, WAV, FLAC, AIFF format? I imagine the tracks on the CD would be lossless, but I've only found MP3 rips.
The Legendary TNT
Yeah, it's on biomedia project. I would link it, but my phone won't let me do that easily. But the music should be in a different section from the promo cd download (which is the po koro download). I'm pretty sure the formats for music downloads there are .mp3 and .wav. TheSkeletonMan939
The BMP only has the MP3 versions; I should know, considering I work with them on the audio. WAV is an uncompressed music format. That means that it's the highest quality possible. FLAC is also lossless, but has a lower bitrate than WAV, which means it's smaller than a WAV file. MP3 is lossy - that means that data has been lost and is not as high-quality as lossless.
Gatanui
Doesn't the BioMedia project offer the contents of the CD itself for download? Wouldn't the original music be included there or does that also only have the MP3 versions? -Gata Quote - Gata Please don't use my avatar or signature without permission, thanks! TheSkeletonMan939
Oddly enough, no. There are no sound files on the CD download itself. I guess whoever ripped it chose to exclude the sound files, or for some reason couldn't get both the CD contents and the music.
Meiko
If this is the CD I think you're talking about, I have it somewhere (dunno if its in good condition). If I get around to looking for it and find it, I can rip it I guess. emily
I'm pretty sure the copies I have saved on my computer are ripped straight from the CD, but they're in WMA format, weirdly. I'll see if it's possible to rip them in a lossless format and come back with the results. EDIT: Here we go, WAV format. Enjoy!
