Problems Posting Pictures and copy/paste issues

I have been trying to create a new topic, and share some pictures, but I am having one heck of a problem.  I tried to copy and paste the links in, or even copy/paste anything, but it won't work when I try to post.  I also clicked the thing to post a picture.  At the bottom left I see something about script void.  Nothing happens, and it seems to freeze.  I have to refresh the page to even try something again.  I have even tried to copy and paste in your message toolbar, but that doesn't seem to be doing anything.

 

Am I doing something wrong?  I also know my computer is going downhill, but I didn't think it could affect this, if that is the case.  Or is it something wrong with the site?

Couple questions:

• What OS and browser are you using?
• Have you been having any trouble on non-BZP sites?
• Could you post a screenshot of the "script void" error?

I don't believe I've had problems elsewhere...

 

And if I could post a screenshot, I wouldn't need this topic...  :-(

Derp, right, sorry.  Did a lot of driving today, brain's a bit frazzled.   What I mean to say is, could you give us the exact text of the error?

 

Also, could you be a little more specific with the IE version? (eg. what number?)  You should be able to find out by going to the "About Internet Explorer" option (possibly under "Help", possibly under the little gear icon, depending on the version.)

when I click the button in the toolbar to add a picture that way, when I hover my mouse over the ok or cancel button, at the bottom left, my computer shows Javascriptvoid(0).  And I click them, nothing happens.  And if I click the X at the top, it wants me to ok or cancel that I am canceling, but nothing happens. And I still need to refresh, unless I'm supposed to wait however long for it to load.

 

As for when I use copy/paste, well I don't get any visable errors other than the thing freezes, and does nothing.  So once again, unless I need to wait a long time for it to work, I don't know what to do.

I am able to reproduce this with Internet Explorer as well.

And here as well.  A little digging brought up this IPB community issue; it seems that versions of IPB (the board software BZP uses) before 4.0.0 are incompatible with Internet Explorer 11.  I don't know exactly what version BZP runs, but I would guess it's below that.

 

For now, the best workaround would be to go to the "plain" post editor - click the little lightswitch icon.  That'll bring you to a plaintext editor which you can copy-and-paste into, though you'll need to use tags manually.  For example, to post an image, you would use:

[IMG=Image URL goes here]

And to make a hyperlink you would use:

[url=URL goes here]Hyperlink text goes here[/url]
