Maika animation video

Remember the last MOC I posted here on BZPower?

That female not-quite-Bionicle alien that I didn't have a name for?

Well, a few things have changed and one thing hasn't.

For one, she has a name now, its Maika.

The other one is that she's not in one piece anymore.

But those things aren't as intresting as this one;

I modelled her in 3D with Blender and animated her!

This video of her she poses in and fights some... grunt things.

Ber with me, its my first rendered animation (game animations are rather differant since they loop) so it probably wont be the best thing you'll see arounf here today.

Also, some of the sound is somewhat off sync because I as of yet don't have an effeciant way of aligning sounds to the actions. There's also a sound disturbance in the FX, a kind of buzzing like a live wire. Thats not my doing. I tried multiple mixdowns of the FX track but couldn't get the noise out.

 

(Oh, the thing that hasn't changed yet is that I still don't have a name for her species).
