Glow-in-the-dark Rhotuka

Again, I'm ordering one. 

 

1. Is there any story significance to it?

 

2. How does it look glowing in the dark?

To be honest, Ive never heard of a glow in the dark Rhotuka. Are you sure it isnt a Kanoka? 

Oh wait nevermind I see now that one was included with the Battle of Metru Nui . Im pretty sure it doesnt have a story significance and if it does its probably very minimal.

It came in the Battle for Metru Nui playset from 2005 (the one with a giant gate that looked like Lhikan's mask).

 

I own one but when I took a quick look I couldn't find it, so I can't say how well it glows, but since I can't remember anything specifically I'd imagine it works about as well as your average GITD piece.

 

I don't know of it having any storyline significance.

In my experience, if you charged it long enough and kept it in a very dark room, something like this (or maybe even a bit brighter) wouldn't be unreasonable.

GITD stuff must have light shine on them for a while to store it so they glow. That's also why they tend to dim and fade when left in darkness too long.

It looks more or less like a 2004 Kanoka color-wise (slightly greenish white).

I have this Rhotuka, it came with the Battle of metru Nui playset which i got back in 2005 and is still on display, i dont think it has any significance but it looks really cool when it is sitting on the Lhikan 'megamask' that came with the set and it still glows in the dark really well after 9 years of displaying the set on and off

The only storyline relevance it has is being part of the Coliseum defense system, but it was never given any official power. It's probably a wheel of energy designed to repel invaders.

 

I can imagine it being used during the Toa/Dark Hunter war, though it was never shown to us.

 

Also, the glow-in-the-dark function works pretty well. It can glow very bright when charged long enough.

1) Used by a mutated Visorak, the glow in the dark Rothuka power is... EXPLOSION THINGS! 
2) Looks awesome.

Don't think its significant. I have several and just like the mini-visorak, they hold a great charge and can be seen to glow even during the day if charged. Fun to play with, but no significance.
