Boidoh
I kept reading around BrickLink and eBay that they replaced the batteries in the light up eyes they are selling. Since when was this possible, and how? The 1st Shadow
You open up the piece and swap out the batteries. It's just tough to get the thing open. I've done it a few times. 1 Quote ~Your friendly, neighborhood Shadow ~Credit for Avatar and Banner goes to NickonAquaMagna~

The 1st Shadow
You open up the piece and swap out the batteries. It's just tough to get the thing open. I've done it a few times. How exactly did you open the piece? It's been a few years, but I think it was with some needle-nose pliers and a couple of screwdrivers. You place the tips of the screwdrivers over the little locking bits on the side of the eye piece, and then you use the pliers to pinch the screwdrivers together to pop them open. (If that made no sense, I'll draw up a diagram.) 1 Quote ~Your friendly, neighborhood Shadow ~Credit for Avatar and Banner goes to NickonAquaMagna~
Ziontyro Metalhead
I have a how-to on my flickr here. https://www.flickr.com/photos/94050823@N02/sets/72157644627739953/All you really need is a small screwdriver. You may be able to find a similar battery to replace the drained one with if you look into watch batteries.
