Vezok Color Problems

In my mess of Bionicle pieces, I started rebuilding Vezok.  I have the correct 'hip' piece I think, but the thigh and hand pieces are throwing me off.  I have one set that is the same color as the hip piece (a very light blue) while the other set is a slightly darker shade of blue.  I am not sure which color one I should be using.  I can barely tell in a picture.  Some help please?

I believe that you should be using the light blue piece. It is the bottom piece behind the main gray body piece, am I correct?

Yes it is.  And I am using the light blue piece, but I didn't know iof the 'thigh' pieces should be that same color blue, cause I have other similar pieces that are slightly darker.

On second-thought, the lighter color blue looks like it belongs to Mahri Matoro.

Vezok's secondary color should be Sand Blue. The lighter color used by characters like Toa Mahri Matoro or the original Gali and Nokama is called Medium Blue, and the hip piece in that color was only used in two sets: Thok and Irnakk. Sand Blue is slightly darker and less saturated (more grayish).

So Vezok uses the more grayer blue?  Gotcha.  Thanks a lot, both of you.

Can anyone help me out with Zaktan's green color?  I have a very bright color, like Phantoka Lewa, and then a slightly darker, almost gray-green color.

For zaktan you must use The gray-ish green

Inika Hahli and Matoro are complete.  Zaktan and Hakann are coming along.

as others have said, Vezok and Zaktan use "sand" colors, which are desaturated versions of the normal bright colors. (if you have lime and sky limbs, you probably have Thok or Ehlek somewhere...)

Nuparu's secondary color is gray, but I do not know if it is this darker gray or the lighter gray.  The lighter gray is the same color used for the +rods that hold the Inika's shoulder-pads on.

I believe Nuparu Inika uses the lighter grey.

Nuparu used a grey very similar in colour to Kopaka and Kopaka Nuva. Much lighter than Metru Grey.

Did Reidak use a dark metal gray like Hewkii (Inika) or did he use a gray similar to Metru?

If you're going to be looking for a lot more of these kind of answers, you should be able to find a lot of the information in either the instruction manuals or on sites like Peeron or BrickLink.
