Hapori Tohu Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 Manchester-based company Character World is going to launch branded duvets, fleece blankets, ponchos and towels with LEGO Classic, LEGO Friends, LEGO City, LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Chima, LEGO Bionicle and LEGO DC Comics Superheroes (no Marvel apparently) characters and images across all of Europe next year. European kids will no longer have to fear the dark, knowing they will always be protected by their favorite LEGO characters. I assume they won't make adult sizes for the bedding, but AFOLs can still get the towels so no visitor ever could doubt their nerdiness. It was slowly ripping over the years and last year, it ripped so much that I couldn't use it anymore. It managed to last like no other blanket I've ever owned. Still, this announcement does not surprise me, and I'm happy that LEGO is confident enough with Bionicle 2015 to include it in merchandising deals like this one.
