Hapori Tohu Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 TLM fans expressed their concern about how The LEGO Movie 2 will have a hard time living up to the quality of its predecessor but this news should ease their worries at least a bit: We already knew they'd produce it, but Deadline has now learned that Phil Lord and Chris Miller, writers and directors of the first movie, will be back to also write the second one. If they can keep up the quality of their writing and their sparkle of creativity, there is reason to believe the second part will be a worthy sequel. No word yet on whether they'll also direct but we may be getting that news before too long as well. It is written in the same year as the first movie was released! Anyway, I wonder what's next on the agenda quickly in this year? Script for the new Batman spinoff? One for the new Ninjago movie? One for the rumored live-action Hero Factory movie? Hmm... I know it's a lot, but I am just curiously guessing since this year is a big year for us about the Lego movies (not just THE Lego Movie, but also about others this year).
