Up The Carrion Stair

IC:Rowun ducked another swing of the flaming table. He'd taken the brunt of a few hits that knocked him about the hall, but he was still breathing and fighting. But now that the golem's weapon was engulfed with flames, taking another hit would be a lot harder to shrug off. He sidestepped another attack by the golem, and swung his mighty axe at the burning wood. The fire had to have weakened the wood, perhaps enough to break under the strain of repeated blows.---"Oiy! Watch where you're firing!" Elisia shouted from atop the golem, barely avoiding the concentrated attacks of fire and acid. She was not in a good situation right now. The golem could bear the brunt of most of the damage being slung at it, but she most certainly could not. Jumping off wasn't an option; she'd almost certainly be crushed by metal feet or smashed beneath a burning table. She couldn't get off... but she could try and do a little damage while she was up there. Elisia let go with one hand - swinging dangerously on the back of the golem as she did - and slid a hand inside her coat to draw a stiletto dagger. At the arc of her swing she jammed her blade into the joints of the golem's arm, trying to screw up the works however she could.[For Science!]

No one in the world ever gets what they want,

and that is beautiful.

Everybody dies frustrated and sad,

and that is beautiful.
