I'm so far behind on this show... I think. How many episodes have there been this season, and when have they aired, because I feel like I've missed all but the first 3 or so.

There have been six episodes so far, which were aired as three separate TV specials. I think I've got them all recorded on the DVR if you want to check them out some time.

Anyway, I'm very excited! It's been hard to avoid spoilers since all eight episodes for this year aired months ago in Australia and New Zealand, but I've enjoyed this season so far and have high hopes for the finale!

Lego still does not understand Internet.

I think the decision of when to air the episodes falls more on the network's shoulders than on the LEGO Group's. Perhaps Cartoon Network wanted to air the season finale in late November because that's when the last season finale aired and it got really good network ratings. :notsure:

Yes, but in that case, why air the final in Australia in July? Unfortunately, the internet is a worldwide thing, so anything that airs anywhere gets on it and spreads. They're (whether Lego or the networks) still operating with a 1990's mindset.

Because whoever's in charge of Cartoon Network in Australia decided airing it sooner would be better for viewership. This sort of thing afflicts the movie industry too. Local TV broadcasters and film distributors premiere things whenever they think they will get the most viewers, which might be months apart from when other countries premiere the same movies/shows.
