He'd continued, he'd beaten Omega senseless multiple times even as she'd begged him not to, even hurting her when she'd tried to stop. Now the roles had been reversed. He tried to straighten himself, but he was still shaking. He wanted to run and hide, to kneel and die. But he owed to Omicron to stop her from becoming whatever it was that he was. Omicron shouted, anger flaring up like a stray ember setting gas aflame. Her grip on the sword was tight as a vice now. When Exxan spoke, her fiery gaze moved from Epsilon to him. "I'm not dressing up any more." With one swift motion, Omicron unclasped and threw off her cloak, revealing her smooth crimson armor. It was almost remeniscent of a flayed rahi. "No more games. No more Orimnoc to hide behind. Here I am, Omicron, in the flesh. And I'm not doing this for anyone but myself." His green eyes finally focused on his sister, managing to resist the fear. One last ditch effort, then. If he died here, he'd at least have tried to do something good for once. Onaku Posted October 1, 2019 Share Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) IC - Omicron - Corridor Without breaking her glare away from Exxan, Omicron swiftly raised her free arm and caught his fist in her hand, revealing she had none the less strength than she had exhibited as Orimnoc before. Only after catching Epsilon's punch did her eyes move to him. "Not this time. But if you really are so hungry for my attention to attack me with Omega's visage, then I guess I can spare a second to put you in your place!" Omicron moved to twist Epsilon's arm to the side before viciously swinging the pommel of her sword at the back of his head. He was easily torn off balance by his once weaker sibling and a sound not unlike a loud door knock occurred as the pommel slammed into the back of his already damaged and injured head. He tripped, and fell. He fell, dressed as his dead brother and being beaten by the sister he used to push around and bully. An end, he supposed, was fitting. He hit the floor easily, the tape on his jaw ripping as his face skidded across the rock below him. The ongoing leak of blood the tape had been desperately trying to hide was now free to see, a puncture wound from when Omicron hit him earlier. "...I'm sorry, Exxan..." As it was, her hand was instead pushed back, prompting her to move it back behind the rest of her body. "Everyone is so impatient today. Don't worry, Exxan, you have all of my attention now that this pathetic excuse for a rahkshi is out of the way." She began to approach him again, her sword hand behind her body. There was only a small hint of hesitation. A regretful glance down to the side at the downed Epsilon as she passed him, so quick it could easily be missed. She muttered, her voice unsure and wavering. There was a loud clang as the sword dropped to the floor from Omicron's limp grasp. "I... I remember now... Exxan died... I... I felt so sure it was a lie back then, I felt so vindicated when I heard that name in the tournament... but... are... are you even-" She took a shaky step forward, her hand stretched out, an expression on her face revealing disbelief, uncertainty, as if she no longer quite believed what she was seeing with her own eyes.
