Hapori Tohu
Coinciding with the release of LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham this month, 22 DC Comics will have special LEGO variant covers. Ranging from the Justice Leagues to fan favorite individuals, many of these characters have yet to see a minifig form outside the new video game. Check your local comic shop or order some online. Being at the standard $3 or $4 per issue, these are an easy addition to any LEGO and comic fan collection. Which ones will you get? user-402520536
Nice to see that LEGO has such sway over other communities.
Toa Smoke Monster
A lot of these comic covers look really cool. I wasn't expecting to see Lego covers of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy comics though. I guess Marvel trying out the Lego covers too? Lyichir
I'm not a big follower of superhero comics. Can someone in the know give me a recommendation for which, if any, of these comics stand well on their own or make for a good jumping-on point? It'd be nice to nab one of these, but I don't want to get one only to find that it's smack dab in the middle of a longer story arc. (For anyone else following, Detective Comics #36 is part 2 of a 2 part story, Supergirl #36 is starting a new story arc and new creative team, Batman/Superman #16 is a new story arc and has been consistently good, Sinestro #7 starts a new story arc, Flash #36 is (I think) the concluding issue to a story arc, Superman/Wonder Woman #13 starts a new creative team, and Wonder Woman #36 is a fantastic jumping on point as the old creative team just left after a great run). A lot of these comic covers look really cool. I wasn't expecting to see Lego covers of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy comics though. I guess Marvel trying out the Lego covers too? Marvel and LEGO did variant covers last year, which I covered. They're super-cool, but are slightly expensive (unlike the DC covers). That said, I got 2 on Ebay at prices I was willing to pay (about $10 each). -CF
Nidhiki of the Shadows
Those are pretty pimpin. I wish we could get brickified covers for every comic. xD -NotS
