Hapori Tohu
Keeping with the trend of non-Bionicle reviews, today we're also going to take a look at 70162 Infearno Interception from this year's Ultra Agents line of LEGO sets. BZPower Blog Assistant Bfahome has taken a look at this light cycle-esque set and decided to share his thoughts on it with everybody. Will it help you defeat the master control program or will it crash in a blaze of bits? You'll just have to read on to find out! Aanchir
Decent review. You picked some good angles to photograph, although some of the photos are a bit dark and out-of-focus, like the minifigure photos. The text covered the features in good detail. I'm a bit puzzled by this part of the review, though: "It does suffer slightly from the Fenrakk problem of having the big detailed brick-built wheels on the front and then a couple of small standard wheel pieces on the back, though." How exactly is that a problem? Not only does it look awesome, but it's accurate to the model's most likely inspiration, which is not in fact TRON but rather the Spinners from the movie Blade Runner. Despite some differences, those were similar in terms of both functionality and basic structure, with larger wheels in the front than in the back. But in general, I agree that this is a nice set. I was very happy to review it myself for The New Elementary. Incidentally, I had a bit of trouble with the ejector seat function at first as well, but after I pulled the inner walls out to the sides very slightly it functioned flawlessly. Bfahome
I see it as a "problem" in that, like Fenrakk, the front wheels/legs are built up with an interesting combination of parts, but the back wheels/legs are much more simplified. I agree that the disproportion does look cool, but I feel like it's a missed opportunity for additional details, comparing the "layered" front wheels to the back ones that just have a tire and radar dish. I've never seen Blade Runner so I didn't know about those, so now I can see where they were going with the design. It was mainly the colors that reminded me of TRON.
