Nescent
Chief Engineer Gavin Zakt, Lieutenant Devi Murin I've been watching a lot of Star Trek lately, and it's made me want to build a starship crew. Here are the first two, the chief engineer and his assistant. Chief Engineer Gavin Zakt Although I'll be making them similar to TNG, the chief engineer's name is Scottish like Scotty. The last name is supposed to sound more like Bionicle. Regitnui
The MoCs are nice, but how do you build those hands? Sorry, but it bothers me. Quote Elemental Rahi in Gen2, anyone? A write-up for an initial video for a G2 plot I really wish everyone would stop trying to play join the dots with Gen 1 and Gen 2 though,it seems there's a couple new threads everyday and often they're duplicates of already existing conversations! Or simply parallel them with a slightly new 'twist'! Gen 2 is NEW, it is NOT Gen 1 and it is NOT a continuation. Outside of the characters we already have I personally don't want to see ANY old characters return. I think it will cheapen the whole experience to those of us familiar with the original line... Regitnui
No, I don't think they look bad. It's more like I think they look interesting, but can't figure out the parts on my own. Thanks, but what are the fingers? Quote Elemental Rahi in Gen2, anyone? Ziontyro Metalhead
Very interesting mocs. Good job. Is the center of the core prototype parts? Akavakaku
As another TNG fan, I love this idea. So for the color scheme thing, is their main color their department, and mask shade their rank? Like, solid department color=department head, mixed color=upper department, silver=mid department, gray=lower department? Like, solid department color=department head, mixed color=upper department, silver=mid department, gray=lower department? It's a cool idea, but I don't have enough masks for that sort of thing. The main color will signify their department, but I'm mostly using size to show their rank. Smaller = lower rank. All of the senior officers will be roughly the same size (about the size of a Toa). So far I plan to make security officers black with Keetorange, the captain and commanding officer will be Mata Red with pearl gold, and I also want to make some special members to accompany away teams - they will be Metru Green with Mata Red, I think. Well, it's wierd that the part that's usually black is clear. If they did, were theirs clear as well? No just me, I'm going to assume it's a misprint. I can't find it on Bricklink - just black/blue. It's a shame it took me 3+ years to find out, I'm glad I didn't sell it.
