New Ninjago Game Coming Next Spring

Recommended Posts

As part of their Ninja Day celebrations, LEGO, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment, and TT Fusion have announced LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin, a new game for the Nintendo 3DS and Playstation Vita. As Comicbook.com reports, the game, "tells a previously untold story from the LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV show," and will be released in the spring of 2015. There will be familiar locations and characters along with some new ones as well, helping to expand the Ninjago universe. I look forward to hearing and sharing more info about this game!

If this game looks good enough, I may pick it up. I only have one other 3DS game that I'm interested in getting next year. (The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask) And it would be cool to have a Lego game to my 3DS too. I'll wait for more info to be released on it before I make any decisions.

Looks interesting enough, although to me the character they previewed looks like something between the Gunslinger from Doctor Who and a samurai. Samurai cowboys, anyone?

Sounds like a fun game. I just wish they would make a Ninjago game for a console system. It's also nice to see that some one remembered the Tornado of creation.

At some point you realize that you are but a speck in the Universe.

That you time in this worlds is but a blink.

You see the whole of reality as it unfolds before you.

You try to see how far you can reach, and it’s not that far past your face.

But then you come back from the brink.

You hold them in your arms again.

And you know that you are where their world begins.

You are their rock.

Why just 3DS and Vita I wonder? I mean, I can definitely play it but don't most Lego games go to all consoles?

Not necessarily "most". The majority of Lego's non-licensed games as of late have been exclusive to handheld consoles, including all three previous Ninjago games, Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey, and Lego Friends. I would assume it's because the licensed games bring in more money and as such can better justify the expense of essentially co-developing two separate games: One for the more powerful home consoles (and PC), and one for the less powerful handheld systems.
