LEGO Elves is one of the few brand new themes coming out in 2015, based off of the minidoll figures first seen in the LEGO Friends line. While ostensibly the sets are marketed at young girls, we all know that LEGO is LEGO and you can buy what you like. The teaser site suggests there will be some story and possibly a TV show, and the sets we've seen in the 2015 catalog have a distinct fantasy feel with lots of new and recolored pieces.

Are you interested in this theme? What aspects are you most excited about? Or are there things you're not really a big fan of that turn you off to it?

I'm not overly 'excited' about the theme (that excitement is reserved for mah darling Bonkles :P ), but I'm definitely intrigued about the seemingly structured storyline and possibility of a TV show or webisodes to coincide with it. The only thing I don't really like about the theme so far is name, or more accurately the generic-ness of it. Elves doesn't really stand out to me enough as a unique name, and overall just sounds meh. Another thing I really don't like is the cheesy theme song in the preview clip, but I have incredibly sensitive cheesiness measures, so that's not really that unexpected for me. :P

I'm basically excited for it all. The sets look gorgeous, the story sounds great, there are definitely some amazing new parts and recolors... it's just one more great theme on top of the many excellent themes next year.

I'm excited for it all. Sets, pieces, story, and art direction! Seriously, those character designs are brilliant. It helps that I spent my high school years absorbing classical fairy tales and folklore and drawing my own interpretations of the magical fantasy races therein. So this theme speaks to me on a very personal level.

I'd probably be more excited about this if there wasn't already an upcoming fantasy theme set in a mystical realm using up my excitedness quota.  Regardless, looks like another theme that'll include a lot of useful new or recolored pieces.  I like the color mix; a bit more subdued than some of the Friends sets, but still vibrant.  The designers don't look like they're skimping on the details, either.

Not excited, really, but keeping an open mind as usual.

The story sounds pretty basic so far, the design thoughts so far on the art are mixed, and I haven't gotten a very good look at the sets yet. It's too early for the theme to prove itself either way, and I'm trying to save money for a certain constraction theme and haven't done too much shopping around.

Can't say I like the music though.

Oh man, this theme looks awesome! Love the minifig designs, and the useage of color on the sets looks amazing! Purple leaves? Yes please.

The sets themselves look great for brainstorming an idea or creating a scene with the characters. I might actually get a few of these sets. They seem right down my alley.

The sets are pretty good (though there's something about the way they do buildings in girl-oriented sets that doesn't quite sit right with me) and the story looks to be something comparable to Bionicle in terms of objectives and worldbuilding. (Real worldbuilding; hopefully Elves won't have people clamoring to canonize insignificant details.)

I'm liking what I've seen of the animation, too; there are some wonderful-looking backgrounds at work here, and they've opted for realistic proportions for their characters, which I am a fan of.

Based on what I've seen from the teaser trailer, I'd say that the story is what most excites me about this new line. I'm not really excited in anything else about it though. Then again, I'm more a story person when it comes to things like this. :)

Everyone is one choice away from being the bad guy in another person's story.

The parts look fantastic, and the sets aren't bad either. I'm a little distracted by the Detective's Office release, though (not to mention all the other great sets out lately), and it might be a few months before I actually pick these up.

That should be OK, because they're not coming out until March, so you've got a few months to wait. :P

Not really interested. Of course, I'm as far removed as one can get from the target demographic, but it's hard to see this as anything more than "Friends with more guys and a 20-minute commercial". The parts could be interesting, and who knows, it could surprise us all, but I honestly don't expect too much out of this.

Seems to me the fact that it's a completely different genre from Friends would be more noteworthy difference from LEGO Friends than "more guys". Not to say it's not going to be like LEGO Friends in some ways, but boiling it down that far feels kind of like calling LEGO Castle "LEGO City with fewer girls".
