A Toarobot18 Game!

The first BZNomic had a decent run, but sadly passed away, probably partially due to complexity built into the game from the very beginning. BZNomic II allows for a fresh start with a simplified initial rule set.

BZNomic is a game where the players themselves create the game. Though a few rules are set in stone, the rest are up to you, the players, to propose! Who knows what this game will become? Join and shape its (unity, duty) destiny!
 
IRONCLAD RULES

ETHICAL

1. No rule of this game may ever require or cause this game, its gameplay, or any player to violate a rule of BZPower or the Games & Trivia forum.
 
2. No rule of this game may ever make this game into a R.P.G.
 
3. No rule of this game may require a player to take or not take any action except within the topic which contains the game.
 
4. Rules shall not impose excessively burdensome requirements on players that would force them to consume large amounts of time playing.
 
5. Should a host or BZPower staff member decide that any rule violates one of the above four rules, that rule is considered to never have been a rule in the first place. Additionally, any rule of this game that would lead to this game being shut down for any reason other than its completion is also considered to have never been a rule.
 
6. Should a player prefer not to follow a particular rule, he may choose not to continue participating in this game rather than continue playing with that rule. No player or character can ever be prohibited from not participating in this game.
 
7. No rule may change the hosts of this game except with the consent of the hosts.
 
8. Except when a rule is invalid for some reason, such as due to the rules above, all players must obey all current rules at all times.

THEMATIC
 
9. If a rule establishes any thematic element in this game, that element must fit within a Bionicle theme, so that as the game grows and matures it is clear that it belongs in this forum. Should a host decide that a rule has a thematic aspect that is obviously foreign to Bionicle, that rule is invalid.
 
MECHANICAL
 
10. These rules are the "Ironclad Rules." Ironclad Rules can never be modified except by hosts or BZPower staff members in accordance with other Ironclad Rules. Ironclad Rules always take precedence over any other type of rule: between two contradicting rules, the Ironclad Rule always wins. No new rules can become Ironclad Rules, which were created by Toarobot18 to form the foundation for the game and are intended to be modified only when absolutely necessary.

NORMAL RULES

1. Any BZPower member may propose a rule in this topic at any time. Whenever three BZPower members other than the member who proposed the rule post in this topic saying that they vote for the rule, the proposed rule becomes a rule of this game.
 
2. Whenever a member posts in this topic, they are considered to be playing the game, unless they state otherwise. A list of all players currently playing will be kept in the first post.

 

3. If a player dislikes a rule, he or she may vote against it, canceling out one vote for it. Votes on a proposal may go into the negatives.

Well, there isn't a rule establishing sign-ups as of yet, so yes, anyone can jump right in and propose or vote on a rule.

Proposal: Each player must propose at least one rule per week. Every time a player makes a post in which there is at least one rule proposal, that player gets one Protodermis Vial. If it has been more than a week since a player proposed a rule, that player loses one Protodermis Vial. Players may have negative Protodermis Vials. The number of Protodermis Vials each player has will be kept in the first post.

Proposal: A player earns 1 widget for each proposal they make that becomes a rule. Players may also earn and lose widgets for other actions, to be determined in future proposals. If a player goes into negative widgets, they are considered in debt, and cannot create or vote for or against proposals until they pay off their debt. The number of widgets each player has will be kept in the first post.

Proposal: Once this proposal becomes a rule, Rule 1 is repealed and is no longer a rule. Any BZPower member may propose a rule in this topic at any time. When there are five or fewer members on the Player List, whenever two BZPower members other than the member who proposed the rule post in this topic saying that they vote for the rule, the proposed rule becomes a rule of this game. When there are six or more members on the Player List, whenever three BZPower members other than the member who proposed the rule post in this topic saying that they vote for the rule, the proposed rule becomes a rule of this game.
