Nescent
Click image for full gallery. Though the Bohrok have gone unheard of for centuries, a lone Krana Vu somehow found its way to the deadly swamps. Out of sight and out of mind, the slimy Krana was transformed by the mutagenic properties of the swamp's water. A head emerged from the Krana, and then a neck, followed by a body. Its limbs were frail at first, but they quickly became encased in glowing blue shells. Once complete, the newly-birthed humanoid stood waist-deep in the green water, and then delved into the swamp's thicket. Vu was weak, and although he possessed no elemental powers, as a Krana Vu he had the skill to levitate. His chest and limbs glowed in the dark fog, turning him into a frightening, mysterious light swinging through the trees. Within a few days, the ape-like beast came across a powerful staff buried within a lake. Through the thick water, Vu could see its faint blue glow barely piercing the lake's muddy floor. Armed with the magical weapon, Vu became a horrifying deadly creature, who stalked the swamp through day and night. Did you see that blue face staring through the leaves, visible only in the corner of your eye but now gone? It is Vu, Spawn of the Swamp...and he is hunting you. ----- This is a MoC I made to send to BrickFair, and as you can see in the gallery, it has two light-up bricks: an orange one in the chest, and a blue one in the staff!
user-402520536
Wow, great job on this. I saw him on flickR and thought 'Wow, this thing is amazing.' and then I saw your signature and I'm like 'Hey... that looks familiar...' Besides that, I love the staff. Both ends are well-built and give him an almost regal appearance. The glow-in-the-dark parts are incorporated perfectly, and the neon green torso works surprisingly well. I used the glow-in-the-dark armor hoping that it would glow a little with the light bricks, but unfortunately it does not (I guess cause they are old). Sumiki
The only thing I'd point out are the chest colors; I assume this makes a better impression in person (what with the light-up elements and all) than in a picture.
