Letagi
Typical values are: VMKK - $100+WMKK - $100-$200+Gold Kanoka - $200 These prices vary depending on the buyer and seller, and the condition of the item. Much less would be a very good deal. More than $50 or so above these prices would probably be considered expensive. And, as Bike mentioned, I put more hours than I care to count into this topic for questions regarding value and rarity. -Letagi

Letagi
Oh, not to worry. I just couldn't remember whether you'd seen the official topic yet. Here's a bit more info: VMKK are the easiest rare Krana to find (except for the light purple Krana-Kal misprints, which barely count as rare). They are easily damaged because the aluminum plating is quite thin. This can cause the price to go down. WMKK are sold less frequently, and thus usually sell for higher. WMKK prices are a little more variable because there are three parts to them: the Krana, the card, and the bag. Without the card and bag, the Krana sells for considerably less. Same if the card is in rough shape. The Krana itself can also be damaged, which would lower the price further. I have one that is in rough shape and is without the bag and card; if I were to sell it, I couldn't reasonably ask for more than $100 for it. Even that would be high. Gold Kanoka are the least common of the three. MC and TLH have between the two of them sold three recently, all for $200 I think. The gold Kanoka is not solid gold, but rather gold-plated plastic. Hope that's a little clearer. -Letagi Edit: Also, I noticed in another topic that you were skeptical about the value of the chrome Hau. Since this is a topic about value, I thought I would mention this here since it's not too off-topic, and it's something that should be clarified for others who might have similar concerns to see. The prices in the official topic are based on sales. In the case of the chrome Hau, you can see all the Bricklink sales in the last six months here. Excluding one sale of $54.85, the average of sixteen sales of the chrome Hau turns out to be $13.86. Since that's a little higher than what I estimated in the official topic, I'll change the value to $15 after posting this. As for the more expensive sales - sales that are so far above the average should be and are excluded from the price estimates in the official topic. I've used this comparison before, but someone could be tricked into paying thousands of dollars for a chrome Hau; that wouldn't change what an average reasonable price is for the item. lessovikk4
I saw a kanoka going for 200$ and wmkks going for more so I didn't know Quote IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A DEAL FOR SOMETHING OR KNOW OF SOMEONE SELLING A GOLD HAU PLEASE PM ME
Letagi
WMKK do sell for higher than $200, which is why the price is listed as "$100-$200+". But they don't often go over $300. Sometimes they do, but it's above average. Also, in the future, if you've got any concerns about values or information in the official topic, I'd appreciate it if you'd PM me or post in the topic, rather than discuss it in a different topic. That way you make sure I hear about it and I can make adjustments if necessary. Thanks. -Letagi
-Sidorak-
These pieces are rarely sold, especially on Bricklink. I think the best way to determine their current value is to run a search on BZP to find what they've sold for recently. Use that as a starting point. Gold Kanoka are the least common of the three. MC and TLH have between the two of them sold three recently, all for $200 I think. The gold Kanoka is not solid gold, but rather gold-plated plastic. The gold Kanoka is metal, with a gold plating. Letagi
Oh, whoops. Thanks for the info. Was the first part directed at me or lesovikk? I keep a close eye on current sales and that's what I base the values in the official topic off of. -Letagi
lessovikk4
The one going is on euro bricks but it might have ended, I believe the kanoka is sterling silver and gold plated Quote IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A DEAL FOR SOMETHING OR KNOW OF SOMEONE SELLING A GOLD HAU PLEASE PM ME
Munty
In addition to the official topic, I actually posted an almost identical query to this before as well. A search would have almost certainly turned up both before posting! The only gold kanoka on eurobricks seems to be a 2008 topic so it's pretty likely it's no longer available... If you do come across one, feel free to let me know as I'm currently on the lookout for one of these Quote Check out my Bionicle store on Bricklink here!> > > Bionic Bricks < < < Let me know if you can help me find these last few collectibles! Also looking for WILD KRAATA and a VMKK Yo!!! lessovikk4
It was never sold I believe, I am trying to contact the seller but you need 10 posts on that forum before contacting so its tedious, I will tell you if he's still selling it when I find out Quote IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A DEAL FOR SOMETHING OR KNOW OF SOMEONE SELLING A GOLD HAU PLEASE PM ME
Munty
Sounds good, I'd love first dibs if he is. I think most of the big money collectors here already have one anyway so I should be close to the top of the waiting list Quote Check out my Bionicle store on Bricklink here!> > > Bionic Bricks < < < Let me know if you can help me find these last few collectibles! Also looking for WILD KRAATA and a VMKK Yo!!! Letagi
Mask collector and TLH both have gold Kanoka. I suspect they're who Munty was referring to when he said "big money collectors" .

Munty
Hah I'm sure there will eventually be a day when we both have one and we can look back on this day and smile! For now though, you can keep your grubby little hands to yourself you disk wrangling kanoka hog Indeed, I do refer to LTH and MC as the big money collectors. I know there are others with very impressive collections but those two are currently on a level of their own I think! I'm happy vying for 3rd place for now... takanuva1988
Haha this Gold Kanoka's all yours if it's there, Munty. But you have some catching up to do if you're shooting for 3rd place here... Heck, I'm probably not quite 3rd either. But if you count sheer numbers of set multiples, Munty might take 1st prize or close to it... Quote Looking for VMKK, GPKK, SSKK, and a gold Kanoka. Munty
I assume that means he no longer has it? Yup. So it's up for grabs Tim That makes no sense... Yup he no longer has it or no so it's up for grabs?! I'm not a million miles away collection wise. I only need Makuta Icarax to have all the sets but I still won't have all the playsets, polybags or supplementals. I have pretty much all the pre-kraata collectibles nailed (just missing the ones in my sig!) and I've recently started working on rhotuka and kanoka too which shouldn't take long. I think the VMKK and kraata will be the hardest things to get honestly. But the other rare bits like the gold kanoka and prototype kanoka will be tough too... Give it a year or two and I'll get there! My goal is everything but GPKK, SGH and of course the PA! takanuva1988
@Munty: I knew you were very close to me on both sets and collectibles, I was being a bit facetious @Bike: That is an awesome bionicle ice cube!I don't think "undisputed" means what you think it means. Unless it means "floridly delusional and also not a forum mod". I'm cool with that. Back on topic, @Lesovikk: I'm also very curious to find out where that gold Kanoka winds up... If Munty strikes it off his list, I'm also a very small step closer to finding my own. I am the undisputed Bishop of the Island!
