Bionicle Re-Birth Chronicles Episode 6

Yo. Hey guys. It has been a while. Years actually, haha.

 

I just wanted to show you a recent animation I made for my Bionicle fan series. A lot has changed around here, so hopefully I am posting this in the correct place~ 

 

For those of you new to this, I used to work on an animated series and post it here on BZPower. It is based on the Bionicle storyline with a human twist and other changes of min. I started around 2008 or so but then I went to college in 2011 and so I had to take a break on working on it to focus on my studies. The past few months I produced episode 6, and while I'd like to make small changes to it here it is for ya'lls viewing pleasure:

It's been too long since I've seen that opening song. Kinda makes me feel thirteen again. That's been happening a lot. xD

 

Super glad to see another one after all this time! And if you were to continue them even further during your spare time, well, I wouldn't mind. =P

I was awestruck when I saw this up on youtube. I had subscribed to you there on the faint hope that you would return some day, but nothing could have prepared me for the sudden appearance of a new episode in this series.

 

I have to say, the differences in animation are very apparent, although they don't differ so much that they don't actually fit together. The audio is alright, and the reveal of who the red spandex dude was... I have to say, it was only as he was speaking to the turaga that I began suspecting something. 

 

I remember back on the old bzpower when you got all this fan-art for the series from all those different people, and put it up on the main topic. I remember having submitted something myself, but it was honestly just some quick edits of the T.O.A. spirits to form different characters.

 

All in all, this was a good addition to the series, and I REALLY look forward to the continuation of this series... if you intend to actually continue it.

I find it funny that I thought about this series again only recently, and then today on a whim I go on BZP to lurk like I occasionally do only to find this gem. Oh, how I missed this loveable little series.

 

College is a massive time drain, I totally feel ya. Wherever you decide to take things from here, go for it. ^^;

I gotta admit that the new animation style seemed a little weird to me at first, but I quickly got used to it and I appriciate that you're taking your time to draw most of the frames by hand. This looks really good, especially in some of the fight scenes! I also loved the backdrops. Overall I think this was a really good episode and I eagerly await the next one! I'm just hoping we'll get it a little sooner this time around.

Heh, I remember auditioning for Takua YEARS back. I wasn't disappointing I didn't make it. Didn't expect much.

Speaking of voice actors, I'm LOVING the voice actor for that dad dude.

My guess is that he is the human Vakama used to fuse with to become a Toa. We'll see though.

While I can't say I like the animation to much, that is because I am not a big fan of Anime in general (even though I am Asian   ). And yet, seeing that intro again. That scene with human Teridax! It blew my mind when I first saw it years ago, It blew my mind all over again today

I am also wondering if you planed more eps in the coming future and how long did it take for you to make this ?

Hey, would it be OK if I wrote stories based on the series?  Like a prelude to it all--around Episode 0 time.  What with Mata Nui's inventions like the KPDS.

Oh how I've missed this show! I was so excited to see it appear on youtube...and also to see I wasn't recast and stuff ...because that would be sad.

Things look great--I am still really happy with the updated animation! I'm hopeful things continue--but I'm also just thankful for whatever I/we get.

Really loving the new animation style, screams "ANIME!" moreso than the previous.

 

Shorter episode but really quality. Hope you continue at this format.

I don't have plans exactly to make another one, as I am getting busy, but It's not off the table I suppose ^^

It took me 3-4 full months(not including breaks) to produce this one.

I'm open to any fan work, do note though, that I actually am in the process of doing a full prelude story myself in a comic book format.
