Relapse
I can't believe the ending of the third episode. I can't wait until they have David Tennant as Watson. Malevolence
really wonderful.I like how the story seems to be ever so slightly more focus on his partner, rather than him. Like Doctor Who, Sherlock is the main driving force, but I'd say the best character development and character portrayal is without a doubt Doctor Watson. Republic Commando Fixer
Oh I don't care for David Tennant so I probably won't care for him as Watson! I really like the actor who is playing him currently! The last few scenes in the third episode were pretty freaky! And Jim's voice, WOW scary stuff right there! Wyrd Bid Ful Araed
I like all the references and such to the original books (shooting into his own wall, "three-patch problem", etc) as it shows they've done their work and honestly care about the source material. They weren't just making it because Guy Ritchie made Holmes cool again
Republic Commando Sev
I can't believe the ending of the third episode. I can't wait until they have David Tennant as Watson. Do you have a source for that? Because I can't find anywhere where anyone has said David Tennant is going to play Watson.Sev Quote .
Grey Snow
If Tennant played Watson, I'd quit. That sounds very little of me, but I despised him as the Doctor, and can't see him as anything but. Even as Watson, even with Cumberbatch, I couldn't stand it.I love this show, though. I've read the whole canon, have an incredible love of Sherlock Holmes, and love this, absolutely love it. They showed their work, they made a masterpiece, they made me want a double breasted longcoat (mine isn't a longcoat variant, I love longcoats), and taught me the European Knot for scarves. Stylistically, it's beautiful. The actors are all amazing in their roles. It's just...pure amazement.
BenLuke
I really, really like this show. Watched it over the downtime and wished there were more episodes out. I also enjoyed a lot of the references to the books. And I'm pretty sure the actor who plays Watson is going to be in the second season and playing Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit although I could be wrong. That's why there's been the largish gap between the first and second series
-Toa Lhikevikk-
Love this show. Can't wait for Series 2 in... January, I think? But I wouldn't want David Tennant as Watson, for the same reason that Matt Smith was rejected as Watson when he tried out the role: "too barmy."
