Main Pose Ooh, does legs doh The Arms Checking out his New Prey Don't Move! He Can't See You if You Don't Move! Going in For the Kill Above View Story: The Arkiz Bear used to be a variant of the Ash Bear living on the Southern Continent, but a majority of the species broke off with Voya Nui, and again with Mahri Nui (wow). The Rahi was forced outside the air bubbles that protected the Matoran, leaving the Rahi open to attack by the Pit Mutagen. This is their evolved, mutated form. UPDATE: Wow, I'm lazy. Here's the long-awaited changes to the Arkiz Bear, and eventually some pics from Bricks Cascade with him. The thing that sticks out to me about this MoC is the color scheme, Metru Red and White is one of my favorites. Mysterious Minifig Posted January 13, 2015 Share Posted January 13, 2015 I agree with Dark Blue that the head doesn't really seem to fit with the rest of the color scheme. I'm not really sure what you should do with it. I suppose it partly depends on what you have available in your collection. You could also try making a custom head as well. The only other thing I don't like is that the front legs seems a little too thin. The back legs have the two parts that connect to the body so that adds a little bulk to them. I don't think you'd have to add much to the front, just enough to give it a little something extra. Other than that, the rest of it looks pretty good. Irrie Posted January 14, 2015 Share Posted January 14, 2015 This a really cool MOC you've got here. Interesting usage of Inika-esque pieces, rather than pure Technic. I'm kind of fine with the Taxadox head, since the color shade of it is only slightly lighter than the black, but that just be me. The only changes I'd suggest are making the white slightly darker, since it kind of stands out compared to the blend of grey, dull red, and black.But aside from that, this looks really neat. What do you guys think? Also, I beefed up the arms. Pictures to follow.Do you have any gunmetal armor pieces that you can use instead of silver? I imagine bears to be huge bulky things that could disembowel you with one swipe!And I think the arms should definitely be stumpier.Otherwise I really like the colours. The torso is almost the exact same as the Takanuva Titan with Metru red pieces (thanks Jaller!) and there's a few Takanuva-only pieces or recolors in there.
