The Rise of DEATH ~ A fan-fi Bionicle epic

[Vezyon]

This isn't going along the new or classic story-line, I'm making one of my own.

Chapter 1:

The wind howled as a shadow crept along the wall of the Metru-Nui City Hall. He peered in through the windows, and saw the Turaga in council; a venomous hiss crept from his lips as he climbed through the window. Then, just as Turaga Vakama saw him and sounded the alarm, the creature gave a war screech and in through the windows came thousands other of his kind, for he was a Rahkshi. Instantly, the Toa, the protectors of the city, came jumping in, Tahu, Toa of Fire, and their leader sent a ball of flame that engulfed the Rahkshi, melting their armor and turning the Kraata slugs inside of them into dust. 
“Makuta’s not making his Rahkshi like he used to,” said Tahu “you can’t even get a good fight in with them anymore!” 
Lewa, Toa of Air grunted in agreement and he sent a dozen or more of the Rahkshi spiraling up in a whirlwind, only to come down with a smash and a splat. Pohatu, Toa of Stone, yawned and he leisurely smashed Rahkshi and squashed their Kraata with his foot add-ons. Onua, Toa of Earth shredded Rahkshi with his claws with a look of boredom. Gali, Toa of Water flooded them until the Kraata downed. Kopaka, Toa of Ice was coolly (no pun intended) freezing them and smashing the ice, shattering both armor and Kraata. Then ther heard a screem, and a green gas floated in, entering an emty Rahkshi shell, then a chilling voice, that sounded purely evil (think the voice of Overlord form Ninjago)said,
“You fools! Do you think you can prevail? No, you shall not! I am the mighty Makuta, future ruler of this world, and terror to all who know my name, I shall rule, and ultimate power shall be mine!”
The gas drifted away.

Chapter 2:
Makuta was a wanderer, first created by Mata Nui, the leader of Spherus Magna, to serve the people, by breeding Rahi. But he grew annoyed by the demands upon him, and having great power, rebelled against Mata Nui, but his rebellion fell through, and he was bereft of his body, and became a wanderer, a green gas that was his consciousness, without a body, he could not use his power. His rage at and jealousy of Mata Nui only grew over the years, and he wandered, looking for a way to create his own body, for he could enter robots and dead bodies, but he always felt, limited. Now he was wandering the city where the Skakdi lived, and came across a certain building, where people of several different species were, and the Skakdi was unveiling a mechanical masterpiece, a robot, with all sorts of weapons, and while watching with interest, Makuta found that these people called themselves Dark Hunters, there were a band of cut-throats and bounty hunters, Makuta had found his way to become flesh again. He entered the robot, and said to the surprised Dark Hunters,
“I am Makuta, I want to thank you for this temporary body, and I ask you to aid me, you will be paid well.”
The Dark Hunters stood in silence; they had heard rumors of Makuta, but he had not been seen for over 8,000 years. 
“How do we know you’re really Makuta?” asked the Skakdi
“Because of, THIS!!” Makuta shouted and pulled from his robot body a Kraata slug, he threw it into a vat of energized protodermis that was sitting there, and out came a Rahkshi. “Do you need any more proof? BOW TO YOUR MASTER!!!!!”

Chapter 3:
The Dark Hunters bowed, and then Skakdi spoke up,
“My name is, Vezon, Makuta,” He said, and then pointing to the others, he named:
Nidhiki, once a Toa, but fell into a vat of energized protodermis after he betrayed his fellow Toa,
Raddihka, a Vortixx who betrayed his people, and got a severed leg out of the deal
And Rahni, a Katanalotis(go to following link to learn more about that species: http://www.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery/6a ... =timmychip), who betrayer her people, and murdered her husband. She escaped right before they were going to execute her.
Makuta yawned at the end of the introductions “Is that all? Or are you going to go on for the next 8,000 years?”
“That’s all, now, if you want to become flesh again as you say, I think I can help, you see, we Dark Hunter have been after something for many years now, it’s a small green crystal with the power to destroy the universe if used, but no one, nit Mata Nui himself can use it fully without emulation of that user and everything 5 miles around. But, I think I know how we can use part of it, and the power will give you the ability to create your own body again, and you will rule Spherus Magna, and we will be part of that ruling, like, we would have our own sectors to rule, under you, am I correct?.”
“Yes.” Makuta said, and inside he grinned, and thought for “Yes these brats would be rewarded, oh yes they would, but they dream of power, HA! Power goes to those you deserve it! But never fear, Dark Hunters, you will be important people, for cleaning dungeons is an important role in any kingdom.”

Chapter 4:
Meanwhile, Tahu led the Toa across the plains of Bara Magna. It was routine enough, stop a band of Skakdi rebels before they burn down Le-Koro. But they found out, it wasn’t a routine job. Leading the Skakdi rebels was Vezon, a well-known Dark Hunter. Tahu signaled for attack, the Toa rushed the band, and a rocket exploded right in front of them, sending them flying.
“I’m back! You may have stopped my Rahkshi attack, but now, I have friends.” Said the voice of Makuta from inside the robot he had entered.
“Makuta!” shouted Tahu, and the Toa went into action.
They focused all their elemental power on the robot, only to be sent flying by attacking Rahkshi of the electricity variety. They kept firing at Makuta as much as they could, but not so much as a scratch was apparent in Makuta’s armor.

Chapter 5:
The Toa looked on surprised at the durability of the armor, Makuta Held up his hand, and the Rahkshi drew back. The Toa opened fire at Makuta, who stood grinning while they attacked in vain , then they stopped
“My turn.” Said makuta lowering his arm, his hand was replaced by a laser cannon, and a rapid fire laser gun extended from his shoulder.
The Toa backed away as Makuta opened fire while laughing maniacally. Tahu powered up is Hau, creating a shield around him and his team, as lasers blasted against it. Then an idea struck Tahu, and he said to his fellow Toa
“If we all go Nova at the same time, it should release enough power to destroy Makuta.”
But Tahu,” said Gali “It would kill us and everyone for Kios around, and how do we know we wouldn’t just destroy the robot, and Makuta wouldn’t just find another robot to enter?”
“We have to try.”
They all nodded sullenly, and prepared to release all their elemental energy in one Nova blast, but suddenly a bright light flashed in the sky and down from the sky came Mata Nui himself. The Toa stopped their Nova blast as Mata Nui confronted Makuta.
“Well, so it comes to this, must we always be at war?” he said
“No, it ill be over when you surrender your rule to me.” answered Makuta, then without a warning he fired all of his arsenal at Mata Nui, who leapt to the side, and fired a blast of light at Makuta, who was sent reeling and blind. Mata Nui closed in, but a legion of Rahkshi got in the way, and fired all their power at him. The Toa took the cue from Mata Nui and flew, their ruler close at their heels. when they were gone, Makuta stood up, and ordered the band to return to their base. When they arrived, Makuta called Rahni, an assassin with a list of successful kills 10 kios long.
“I want them dead.” Makuta said her “I don’t care how, but Mata Nui and his Toa must die before a fortnight is out, or you will die yourself! Understand?”
“Yes Makuta, I will not fail.”
“I hope so, for your sake.”

Chapter 6:
Rahni crept up the side of the canyon, she had been assigned the task of doing in the Toa, and Mata Nui. She pulled out her crossbow and loaded it. Just then, Mata Nui walked into the canyon, Rahni took aim, but just when she fired a strong arm jerked it upward, and the arrow buried itself in a tree that grew near the far edge. She stood up and faced Tahu, with a snarl she drew a dagger and thrust it into the Toa’s vitals, he fell dead. She immediately found herself in a cage of ice, and saw the other Toa approaching. With a burst of determined strength, Rahni shattered the ice, and made a leaping slash at Kopaka, he fell dead. Pohatu moved in only to get a throwing knife in his throat. Onua threw a rock at Rahni, she dodged and stabbed him in the back while he was bent over to pick up another rock. Lewa flew from the skies and slashed at her, Rahni dodged the slash and cut his arm off, unbalanced, Lewa crashed, and the last this he felt was a dagger in his head. Gali stood up from Tahu’s side then, and with a terrible rage went Nova. Rahni barely managed to get out of the way of the Toa of water’s attack, a few minutes later, rahni returned, and collected the masks and weapons from the Toa’s lifeless bodies. She returned to base and presented the masks and weapons to Makuta, and left to prepare Mata Nui’s doom.

Chapter 7:
Makuta called the Dark Hunters together and told them
“Now is the time we strike at Mata Nui, and take Spherus Magna! Rahni, you can forget about assassinating Mata Nui, I want to have the personal pleasure of taking him out myself! Vezon will show me the way to become flesh again, and Raddihka shall plan our battle campaign against Mata Nui’s forces.”
Vezon and Makuta left, and Raddihka gathered the others around, all the Dark Hunter’s exept Rahni had armies at their commands, and since Makuta came to lead them, more members had joined.
“Allright,” said Raddihka “here’s how it’s gonna work, Nidhiki, you take your squad and take the Matoran armory, we can’t have heavy weaponry against us, Rahni, you go with them, you will take out the guards and keep watch, and then Nidhiki and his men will go inside, take out the soldiers in there, and sit by until I call for them, understand? Good. Skadokk (another male Skakdi) is to the north of Metru Nui now, and has his orders, when I give the word, he and his men will march down and take the northern part of the city on foot, Ragguu (a female Vortixx) is east of the city on a remote island, she will lead her fleets and take the city by it’s docks. Taguhn (a male Katanalotis) is to the west at our secret hangar, he will attack the western district by air. I and my army will take our heavy weaponry and tanks and move from the south. We will time our attacks so that we reach the city walls a the same time, and we will meet in the colosseum, after smashing our way through. TO ARMS!! WE LEAVE WTHIN THE HOUR!!”
All of the Dark Hunters prepared for battle, while Rahni, Nidhiki and his men, left for the armory.

Chapter 8:
Rahni crept towards the entrance of the armory, and saw 3 Matoran guarding the door, she grinned and put up the hood of the cloak she was wearing. She walked up to the door
“Halt! Who goes there?” said a guard, lowering his spear
“Just a old lady, wondering if you can spare a cup of tea, it’s such a cold night.” said Rahni, she was a master of faked voices, and sounded old and frail
“It’s, not cold.” said another guard “It’s quite warm.”
at that moment Rahni leapt forward and drew out her combat knives, and in the backstroke of the same motion, stabbed two of the guards, and did a front flip, pulling the knives out of the dead bodies and slashing the third guard to death. She then gave the signal, the Nidhiki and his men charged into the armory.

The assault on Metru Nui was begun, and Taguhn’s air strike was going well, millions of helpless Matoran fled from their homes, only to be blasted to bits by Taguhn’s squad. But the soldiers of the city had assembled for a fight, and AA guns were soon full at work, and Taguhn’s squadron was taking heavy fire. But heavy assault from the south smashed all anti aircraft resistance, and the Matoran were sent fleeing from their posts. Ragguu’s fleet came from the east, and took the docks, she and her men came from the ships and marched to the rendezvous at the colosseum, leaving a wave of death and destruction behind them. Skadokk came from the north with his soldiers, and ploughed through all resistance. When they all reached the colosseum Raddihka called up Nidhiki
“We’ve reached the rendezvous point, you and your men are to scour the city and beat out any potential resistance! we will deal with the Turaga, as for Mata Nui, we will hold him until Makuta’s return. Rahni has done her part, she can stay at the armory.”

Chapter 9:

Makuta and Vezon had finally reached their destination, a large reactor, it constantly sparked and sent out rays on energy that made one feel like they were being torn apart.
“This is your plan?” asked Makuta “To be torn apart by rays of energy?”

“relax, I got it all worked out, you leave your robot, I direct the energy adaptor at you, only a fraction of the power here is needed, about .00001%, after a few minutes, you have your own body, with a few enhancements.”

“Whatever, just get the job done, I have to face Mata Nui before the sun rises.”

“Very well master.”

Vezon aimed the adapter at the green gas that made up Makuta, turned on the generator to .00001% power, once it was fully functional, pulled the power lever, and instanter an arc of energy made its way to the gas, and began its work, Makuta cried out, he felt as if his very esince was being slowly destroyed, but he could tell it was working, the formless cloud of gas took a humanoid shape, legs and arms sprouted from the form

“Yes! YES! Its working, soon I will be flesh again, Mata Nui will fall and I will rule Spherus Magna forever!”

scaly skin crept across the cloud, claws extended the fingers and toes, the transformation was nearly complete. But a blast of fire hit the power gave, it shot up from .00001% to 1%, Makuta screamed, his from vanished and his gas was rapidly depleting, the gage overcharged and shot up to 100% the generator overloaded and the gas vanished, a voice rose above the noise screaming

“YOU HAVEN’T SEEN THE LAST OF ME!!”

The generator exploded with tremendous force, Metru Nui, 50 kios away trembled and shook, towers fell down, the walls collapsed, the colosseum was an island in an ocean of destruction, not a being on that planet failed to hear the blast, Makuta was no more.

Chapter 10:

The Dark Hunters that surrounded the colosseum wavered, what was this thing that happened? taking the opportunity, a small band of Matoran rushed the Dark Hunters, sabotaging their weapons and taken them out. Soon there wasn’t one left alive, and Metru-Nui rejoiced.

Back by the burning remains of the generator, a fist shot up from the rubble, a dark humanoid form slowly rose from the ashes and gazed silently at the surrounding destruction, then scoffed, transformed into a dragon-like shape, and flew off.
